《Rebirth as a Xenomorph in the Apocalypse》 My Death I was on a bed, something disgustingly cool on my face as it fed me air, as I was incapable of breathing through my nose. Then I felt something enter my mouth and I gagged out of reflex. However I felt something pierce into my arm and then darkness claimed me. ... I woke up to feel a tearing pain in my chest, as if something was forcing it''s way out of me! Groaning in pain, I tried to roll over, only to find that I was cuffed to the rail, and couldn''t move anything besides my head. ''What''s happening to me?'' "Is anyone there? Hello?!" I screamed, yet I received no reply, then I felt something move in my chest, and a wave of pain washed through my body. "Aaaaghhhhhh!" Something pressed against my ribcage and broke it into several pieces, then I felt it biting it''s way through my flesh and I blanked. ''No way, isn''t this a Chestbuster from the Alien Franchise? How the fuck did I get in this situation?'' Thrashing on the bed, I felt my skin stretch and knew it was in it''s final stages of gestation. Opening my mouth, I let out a hoarse scream as blood trickled down my chest. Then something black wormed it''s way out of the hole and my body went still. Then I lost consciousness. ... When I woke, I was surrounded by red and white things, fragments that smelled delicious... wait, that''s clearly the remains of a human being... ''Why does a corpse look so appealing to me? Wait, where am I?'' I looked around and found that I was restricted, something kept pushing against my body, so looking around I found that I was wrapped in red meat, and working my way out, I realized I was inside a corpse! ''Ew, who the fuck put me in a corpse? What kind of sick game is this? Wait, why am i alive? I remember it coming out of my chest!'' Then I looked down and realized my body was rather small and wormlike with a grey color running down the full length of my body. ''Holy shit!'' I opened my mouth and a high pitched screech came out. ''Am I a Xenomorph? But how? I died and reincarnated as the very thing that killed me? Is this some sick joke?'' I wiggled my way out of the corpse, or rather my corpse, and crawled off into the bed and looked at my ravaged body. Blood stained the sheets I laid on, while leather straps held my body in place, not allowing for movement in the slightest. My face was a mask of pain, my features looking like a mask of a devil. Wincing at my former body, I bowed my head in respects and crawled off the bed and down to the ground. With a thud, I hit the ground, however it didn''t hurt as much as I expected, so I just wiggled my way to the door and looked outside. First Mission I looked out into the corridor and found not the slightest trace of humans, instead it looked like a hurricane swept through the area! ''What happened, is this a hospital? Where is everyone?'' I crawled forward while turning my head this way and that trying to find some sign of a person. ''Well, in a way it''s good it''s empty, because if anyone saw me, they''d probably just outright attack me.'' Crawling into a room, I saw a corpse standing upright, wait no that''s not right, but it looked towards me, however it didn''t attack. ''But what the fuck! It''s a zombie!'' It was clear as day that what stood in front of me was dead, blood colored the front of its shirt as a scalpel stuck out of it''s chest. Forturnately, it didn''t seem to have rotted much, and the meat could still be edible.. ''Eh, why would I even think of eating that? It''s a zombie for Christ''s sake!'' [Ding. Find and consume 200 pounds of meat.] ''Excuse me? Who are you and why are you in my head? Besides, why should I listen to you?'' [Ding. Find and consume 200 pounds of meat. It is imperative that you complete the mission, or you will perish.] ''Huh? So you just throw out something like I''ll die if I don''t obey, and expect me to just obey? Because you thought right, I don''t wanna die again!'' Crawling over to the zombie, I looked up at it and tried to figure out what to do to kill it. Then recalling the movies I watched, I tensed the muscles in my tail and sprung up at the zombie''s neck. With a soft thud, I bit down on the zombie''s neck, while he just stood there as if not understanding the situation. ''Look, I''m having an internal debate here, if you don''t struggle, I''ll feel bad...'' I hung onto it''s neck and gulped the coppery tasting fluid that ran into my mouth. Then it collapsed, without warning and we both hit the floor, it was slightly painful for me, like I was slapped. Crawling towards the zombie, I chomped down on the back of the zombie and then thought of something that filled me with dread. ''Will I turn into a zombie because I ate one?'' I started to freak out when a notification popped up. [Ding. Xenomorph are a perfect life form and as such cannot catch diseases and infections.] ''Whew, good thing I''m a Xenomorph, my foot, I want to be human! Make me human god dammit!'' [Ding. It was well known that host despised being human, as a result that creator of the system chose you.] ''At least let me lie in peace!'' Murmuring about an annoying system, I ate the body until not even the bones were left. [Ding. Host has consumed 300 pounds of a life form, choose your evolution path.] [Ding. Evolution paths available : Carrier, Drone, or Warrior.] Evolution! While mentally chewing my lip, I chose one to see if any description would pop up and to little to no suprise, there was none. ''At least give me a description to which would be more beneficial to my growth!'' [Ding. Descriptions have been added.] [Ding. Carriers carry live facehuggers and use them to attack, potential growth factor 2.] ''Then let''s see drones?'' [Ding. Drones are strategist that plan and wait to ambush enemies in the dark, potential growth factor 2.] ''And what about warriors?'' [Ding. Warriors are the run of the mill Xenomorphs that attack en masse until the enemy perishes, potential growth factor 1.] ''And what is the growth factor thingy?'' [Ding. The potential growth factor is a rating on how easy it is to evolve after choosing said class, the higher the number, the easier it is to evolve.] ''So warrior isn''t an option then? Well even if it was, I don''t think they''re that many Xenomorphs around that I could hunt with.'' I crawled to the door and looked at my reflection in a piece of glass. ''I''m already growing, and fast at that?'' I saw that I had reached three feet in length and was starting to darken into a black. ''Okay, I don''t wanna be useless in a fight, so I choose Drone?'' [Ding. Drone selected, rapid evolution in progress.] The surroundings went dark and then I floated off into the darkness. ... Waking up, I felt like a stranger in my own body, I felt heavier, and balanced at the same time, it was a strange feeling. [Ding. Host has evolved into a Drone type Xenomorph, it is recommended that you consume ten thousand pounds of meat to evolve. 0/10,000] ''Holy shit, am I gonna eat myself to death? How am I gonna eat that much?'' I screamed at the system and a low growl escaped my mouth. I looked at myself in the mirror and found that I was all black, a hardened shell protecting my head, and a vaguely humanoid figure, but I knew I could run with all four of my limbs if I wanted like in the movies. I stretched my claws and stabbed them into the wall and pulled myself up. I was soon on the roof, back to the floor as I ran along the roof, getting a high from the excitement. Then I saw a vent and walked over to it and slashed it open with my tail. Entering the vents, I ran silently, while marvelling at whoever created the specs for the body because it was hella high. I came to a stop an looked through a ventilation shaft and saw a zombie staggering towards a door. I climbed out of the vents and ran along the roof, and stabbed my tail at the zombie. Not knowing what to expect, my tail slashed through the zombie and lifted it into the air, and pinned it against the wall. I dropped from the ceiling and walked over to the zombie and opened my mouth. Then a smaller mouth came out of my outer mouth, which freaked me out as it looked strange, then bit into the zombie''s skull. Feeding a child I slid my tail out of the zombie''s corpse and looked over at the direction it tried to walk in. I sniffed the air and smelled something delightfully appealing. It was like barbequed meat with honey drizzled on it, and served with glaze brushed on, it smelled amazing! However, I knew that much like zombies, I was a straight carnivore, so anything that smelt that great must be alive, and was most likely human. I tried the door and found it locked from the inside. ''Eh, I''m pretty sure I''d feel nothing if I killed a human right now, but eating one is a bit...'' I trailed off as I climbed back into the vents and found my way into the room via the vents. Looking at the room, I didn''t see anyone, so I climbed down from the vent and walked on the floor, my tail swishing side to side as if ready to kill. Then I heard a muffled scream, and I looked behind me. A little girl, with doll-like features stood, her hand gripping a teddy bear she hugged close to herself while she cried silently while looking at me. I turned around and sniffed the air and confirmed that it was the child that smelled so good and smiled ruefully in my mind. ''Well, if you were an adult, preferably female, I''d have no qualms eating you, but you''re a child, so I really can''t bring myself to eat you.'' I circled the child and then sat down and looked at her. She stopped crying after a few minutes and stared at me warily. I smiled to myself knowing that I wasn''t the most beautiful thing in the world, especially with my bladed tail and menacing claws. Then I heard her stomach growl and I got up. She staggered back in fright and I leapt into the vents and ran back outside, dropped to the floor and stopped in front of a vending machine. ''Why am I doing so much for a child I don''t even know?'' I asked myself while slashing open the glass of the vending machine and grabbing most of the food. Curling my tail around the pile of food, I ran back up into the vents and came out and smiled when I saw she didn''t exit the room. ''It''s be a pity for such a cute child to be eaten by zombies.'' I dropped the pile of food in front of her and went to lay on the floor, my head facing away from her. For some minutes it was silent, then I heard the pitter patter of feet and the sound of a bag getting opened. I looked at her as she stuffed her face and smiled, which made the child hide behind the desk. There were several desks between the child and me, and perhaps she thought they''d keep her safe if I tried to get her. I turned away and closed my eyes, and welcomed the darkness. Hunting the Zombies in the Area I sprung up and looked at the direction the child hid herself beneath a desk and sighed. ''Maybe one day she''ll understand I mean no harm to her.'' I crawled up the wall and into the vents and then dropped down outside the room. Looking back at the room, I realized it was nondescript and easy to pass by, so I dragged my nails across the window, leaving three deep furrows in the glass, and heard a frightened whimper from the inside. I backed away and looked at a zombie walk over, drawn by the noise of my claws grating against glass. I walked towards the zombie and froze as it sniffed the air, however it didn''t seem to be hostile as it staggered by and started hitting the door. ''None of that.'' I spun and my tail flew out and slashed the zombie''s head from it''s body. The body toppled to the floor as black blood spilled out of it. ''This is the third zombie I''ve killed, rent they a bit weak?'' I walked over to the head and bit into the skull with my inner mouth, then chewed the brain matter. I didn''t feel much disgust or anything really, I guess I wasn''t really human, even when I was human. I hunted for an hour, clearing the zombies away from the door, and stopped when the zombies were all dead. ''Can I see my completion rate?'' [Ding. 23/10,000] ''Fuck, this is gonna take forever! Why couldn''t it be less? I had better get some overpowered class to evolve in to!'' I didn''t enter the vents and go into the room again, I lied just outside the door and rested, looking at the work of art I made. Black blood splattered everywhere, zombies hacked in two or decapitated, and the brains devoured. ''If any human saw this, they might faint in fright.'' I repeated the actions of the day before and wrapped my tail around the snacks, crawled through the vents and deposited it in front the child, then I went back to hunting. ''If the child used the bathroom at all, I''m unsure, but there was one in the room, and she looked old enough to be potty trained, and the room didn''t smell like shit, so I guess she did use the bathroom.'' I cleaned the blood from my tail while wiping my tail along the clothes of a dead zombie. ''If I fight humans, they''d become infected if I slash them with my tail...'' I stopped wiping the black blood from my tail and plopped down, resting my head on my forearms. ''What to do, leave the child? No, I''ll protect her, she''s a cutie, and no I''m not a pedophile, lolis are justice!'' I smiled, thinking of the reference, then fell asleep. ... When I woke, I was hit with the smell of humans and I looked around confused. Then I saw the girl, in the hallway, lying against me, her hands wrapped around my head. The Child is Rescued I let a hiss escape my mouth and the child woke up, her face full of suprise. Then she clambered onto my head and looked down at me causing me to blank. ''Who raised this child!? She''s obviously to naive if she thinks I can be trusted just because I fed her!'' "Mr. Alien, thank you for protecting me!" She said softly making my eyes widen. ''You can speak? Then why''d you never scream when I appeared?'' I rolled my eyes, then she answered me. "Because Mr.Alien didn''t want to hurt me." I blanked, wondering how she knew what I thought when a notification popped up. [Ding. Children are more attuned to telepathic thoughts and intents, and host radiates your thoughts without concealing them, so the child understands what you think.] ''... And you didnt find the need to tell me this earlier because?'' [Ding. Host never asked.] ''So can everyone hear my thoughts?'' I asked while climbing to my feet slowly, making sure the child didn''t fall from my head. I walked into the room, the door open when the child walked out and shook my head, making her fall in a heap near a desk. I sighed and moved my tail away from the child, in case she fell and hurt herself, then raised my head, looking out at the door when I smelled a human, or several to be exact. ... "Do you think she''s here? I mean it''s been three days since the outbreak, if she survived the initial wave, I don''t think she survived the lack of food, she''s only ten!" A buff man in camouflage said while so ing his gun ahead of him, warily looking around. "I''ll believe as long as there isn''t a body, besides the commander give us his orders!" Said a skinny man with a bald head. "Zombies just appeared randomly, and a few cities have already fallen, it''s a good thing this hospital is rather secluded or it''d be crawling with zombies." Another said with a cap covering his face. "Focus on the missions and stop blathering off at the mouth, we have to find the Princess." Said the buff guy while gesturing for them to stop. "What''s the matter? Is something wrong?" One whispered to him while looking around alertly. "There are no zombies here... there should at least be one or two but we came across none, and the bodies we did come across looks like they were killed with a sword or something." "So you think something killed them? Isn''t that good for us?" "Captain, there corpses are the same as the others, they''re all missing brain mass." "So something''s hunting the zombies?" The skinny man asked when a door swung open. "Hey look, something''s moving inside." They fanned out, eaching aiming at the entrance when a child walked out and looked at them while tilting her head. "It''s the Princess!" One of the men slung his rifle over his shoulder and picked up the child. "How are you, are you okay, is your nanny with you?" He bombarded her with questions, making her eyes flit back to the room. Then they all walked into the room, and aside from desks and empty wrappers, it was empty. Points! [Ding. Host has 32 Points to spend.] ''Eh, I didn''t know I had points... wait, when did you even mention anything about points?'' [Ding. Host has 32 Points to spend, it is recommended that you upgrade your Defense.] ''Damn, how many things didn''t you tell me, okay, let me see my stats.'' [Ding. Showing status.] [Name : N/A Race : Xenomorph Evolution : Drone 32/10,000 Points: 32 Defense : 0/10 Tier 0 Speed : 0/10 Tier 0 Attack : 0/10 Tier 0] ''How many points to upgrade one of the stats?'' I flipped on my side and crawled upwards. [Ding. 10 Points to upgrade one stat to maximum.] ''So I have just enough to upgrade everything to max? Isn''t that a little convenient?'' [Ding. System was made to be convenient to host.] ''Fuck, stop praising yourself, you suck.'' I peeked through a vent and saw light. ''Upgrade all stats to max.'' [Ding. 30 Points deducted.] ''Lemme see my stats, and please tell me that this is outside.'' I crawled through the vents and slashed the grills open and climbed out. Looking around, I realized that I was on the roof and nothing else was up here, at least according to my senses. [Ding. Showing status.] [Name : N/A Race : Xenomorph Evolution : Drone 32/10,000 Points : 2 Defense : 0/50 Tier 1 Speed : 0/50 Tier 1 Attack : 0/50 Tier 1] ''Nice, so what should I do now? Farm the zombies in the hospital? Nah to boring, maybe I''ll explore, who knows what kinds of interesting things popped up now that the world has ended?'' I walked to the edge and looked down, and surprisingly didn''t pee myself in fright. ''I guess heights aren''t that scary to me anymore, well if I wasn''t such a good climber, I might slip, but that''ll never happen...'' I planted my forearm on the side of the building, then another, and soon, I was hanging on to the building with my claws, and I didn''t feel strange at all. ''Nice, so if I can just compensate for the gravitational pull, I can run like this!'' I took of running on the side of the building, feeling exhilarated that I could run freely like this, then the ground started getting nearer, and zombies which were just standing there started to move towards a certain direction. I stopped running and looked in the direction they were going, I followed them, several tens of feet up from the ground. Then I heard gunshots, and saw humans firing at the zombies as they retreated to a military looking car. I stopped moving and crouched low to the building and crawled forward quietly. Then I heard a scream as one of the men was pushed down by a zombie, and then nearly bitten when something tore the zombie apart. I didn''t see what it was, all I saw was the zombie explode, and watch as black zombie blood got all over the guy on the floor. Then I released my claws and fell ten feet when I heard an explosion above me. If I didn''t move when I did, I''d have been blasted into the building. I looked around and saw a man walking into the hospital grounds, a grenade launcher in hand, his eyes gazing at me. Shivering, I flipped around and ran into the hole while trying to control my body. I felt one thing when I was gazed at by his dark blue eyes, and it wasn''t love, it was fricking fear. I had never been stared at with killing intent before, and it scared me, and I reacted before I thought. ... "Captain, thanks for the assist, if you didn''t help me, I''d be zombie chow." He grabbed his gun and aimed at the nearest zombie and opened fire. "Did you see it?" The captain asked while kneeling next to the child and embracing her. "Daddy! I missed you a lot! So much!" The child broke down cried while wrapping her tiny little hands around him. "Hey pumpkin, I hope you didn''t get scared." He rubbed her back and lifted her into his embrace. "Did you see it?" The captain asked again while looking at the hole in the building. "See what? I didn''t see anything." One of the men frowned and looked at the hole when the captain raised the grenade launcher and fired with one hand. Then several zombies fell, blown apart by the projectile, and then a head poked out of the hole in the building, if you could call it a head. "What is that?" One of the men shifted for a better view when the head disappeared. "You didn''t know it was watching you and you have the nerve to ask me what it is?" The captain smacked the man''s shoulder and looked up at the hole. The surroundings zombies thinned out, and then disappeared from the surroundings. ... I peeked through a window and looked at the squad that was disappearing into the military style car. I scoffed and turned to look at a zombie walk into the room, drawn by the noise I made apparently. I hissed a series of noises and then slashed it with my tail. ''Always wanted to make a random noise and kill something, it seems lit as fuck.'' I shrugged and dragged the zombie closer and lifted it with my arms and bit into it''s brain. [Ding. Brain mass aquired, gained 1 point.] I dropped the zombie and looked out the window, only to find that the car had disappeared. Looking at the sky, I realized that the sun was going down, and mentally calculated how long is been a Xenomorph. ''Eh, the sky changed a couple times, and I didn''t track it at all, what the fuck, if I were a protagonist, I''d have a bunch of cheats and be overpowered as hell.'' I flicked my tail and cut another zombie in half. [Ding. Brain mass aquired, gained 1 point.] Stretching, I laid on the floor and relaxed while flexing my claws. (I dunno what to write about? So I just did nothing, let me go back to 500 words please? ?) Leaving the Hospital I smelled the air and sensed a few zombies staggering in the halls. After making short work of them, I climbed out of the hole in the wall and climbed down to the ground. I looked up and realized I couldn''t see the stars or anything in the sky for that matter, the moon wasn''t there, nor was there clouds, the sky was just a black void. ''Damn, the world really has gone to shit, what should I do now? Find some humans? No, I''ll probably just get attacked, I''m not gonna be like those nonhuman main characters that try to meet humans the first chance they get, maybe I should find some bandits or something? Or maybe some other xenomorphs...'' I stuck out my inner jaws and smelled the air, then stalked off and climbed over a chain link fence, avoiding the zombies and cars that littered the parking lot. I launched myself off the fence and into the forest, delighting in the feeling of the wind rushing past as I ran. Then I heard a growl and a whimper, and I slowed down and looked around. I saw a dog, if you could still call it a dog as it was several times the size of a normal dog, and had bright silver fur. Then I saw a bear, with orange fur and flames streaming from it''s claws as it swiped at the dog. I leapt over and climbed into a tree above them and waited for the opportune moment when I saw the bear sniff the air. I jumped from the branches and slammed my tail into its neck, however it felt like my tail hit metal as it bounced away and the bear growled at me. I landed in between the dog and the bear, mouth open spitting out hisses while my tail swiped the air behind me. For a moment we both regarded each other, then it probably decided that o wasn''t worth it, because it started to step backwards, trying to leave. ''Holy hell, I just found something why looks delicious and you want to leave? You must ask me first!'' I leapt at the bear, my nails extended and slashing the fur apart as we rolled on the ground, red blood splashing everywhere. It raked it''s claws along my head, however other than a shrill grating noise, I was unharmed, so I bit down on the bear''s throat. Wrapping my tail around its head, I tried to grind it''s face to bits, however it grabbed me and through me against a tree. The tree cracked in half as I was slammed through it and was sent rolling into the forest. Pushing myself to my feet, I shook my head and leapt at the bear, determined to end it soon. I leapt onto a tree and threw myself at the bear, opening my jaw, my tongue shot out and pierced through the bear''s throat. The bear staggered, then let out a low hoarse roar, then collapsed to the floor, red blood pooling beneath the body. ''Shit, who knew my ultimate attack was so op?'' Another Reincarnator I pulled the corpse of the bear over and looked at the dog, who was staring at me vigilantly. Then I bit down on the bear''s head, and ate the brain matter with my inner jaws. Releasing the corpse, I walked over to the dog, who was shivering, and rolled my eyes. ''You''re a dog, yet you have no backbone?'' I sighed exasperatedly and grinned, making the dog bark at me. ''Okay, okay, I know that my smile is horrible, but don''t bark at me.'' [Ding. Analysed the bear, you gained 20 points, and proficiency with fire element increased by 10%.] ''Wait, wait, wait! Show me the menu, of everything!'' [Ding. Showing the menu.] [Name : N/A Race : Xenomorph Evolution : Drone 59/10,000 Points : 18 Defense : 0/50 Tier 1 Speed : 0/50 Tier 1 Attack : 0/50 Tier 1 Attributes : Fire : 10% Lightning : 0% Wind : 0% Poison : 50% Water : 0%] ''Would it kill you to tell me everything at once? Would it?'' [Ding. It was assumed the host knew.] ''How dafuq would I know when you never mentioned shit? No what, you''re just lazy as fuck!'' [Ding. System is not lazy!] ''Yes yes, you just neglect to me mention a shit ton of stuff, but it''s okay, I''ll figure it out by myself.'' I walked over to the dog and looked at it closely. ''Are you also like me?'' A timid voice sounded out in my mind, making me blank. ''Holy shit, did you reincarnate as well?'' My eyes widened, mentally of course as I looked at the dog in shock. ''Yes, I was home playing on my phone, then I was in the middle of no where, with zombies surrounding me, I was so scared!'' The dog ran over and nuzzled me, while tears formed in it''s eyes. ''I finally found someone else! Wait, the bear was a reincarnated person too...'' ''Oh fuck, so I just killed someone?'' I asked while looking at the dog who whimpered pitifully. ''He said he was going to kill me if I didn''t leave his territory, so you saved me, though he is dead.'' ''So I saved you, so it''s all good then, he seemed like a bad thing anyways.'' I agreed, pushing the fact I killed someone to the back of my mind. ''Oh, did you speak to God-san as well?'' The dog asked while looking at me with pure silver eyes. ''Damn, this dog has some beautiful eyes, if not the most beautiful eyes I''ve ever seen.'' ''Wait, you talked to God? Why didn''t I get to talk to him? I''d have asked to be something more normal!'' ''Eh, so you reincarnated without talking to him? That''s amazing!'' The dog shook it''s fur and looked at the remains of the bear and spat out its tongue. ''Wait, why didn''t I get to talk to him, I just woke up like this!'' I yelled at the dog while wrapping my forearms around its shoulders and shaking it. ''I dunno, maybe he didn''t wanna speak to you?'' The dog said while looking up at the sky. ''Fuck! Why does everyone always leave me out?! I get left out of everything!'' Rachel The dog sat on it''s hind legs and shared at me while panting. ''So you woke up in the hospital as a worm, and you got a system? That''s cool!'' ''Shut up! You got to meet God! I wanna have a few words with him as well!'' ''It wasn''t anything special, he just assigned our races and gave us systems to help us grow.'' I flipped on my side and rubbed my head against the ground, while hissing in frustration. ''Sigh, no use crying over it now, what are you gonna do?'' I asked while looking up at the dog. ''Hey, I''m not a dog! I''m a wolf! A fenrir to be exact!'' The dog puffed up it''s chest pridefully and grinned. ''Oh, so you''re a mythical creature, while I get to be a strange alien thingy? Nice...'' ''I didn''t mean it like that, don''t worry, I''m sure you have a cool title as well.'' ''Titles... oh my god, you useless system, show me everything! And don''t forget anything!'' [Name : N/A Race : Xenomorph Evolution : Drone 59/10,000 Title : The Perfect Organism Points : 18 Defense : 0/50 Tier 1 Speed : 0/50 Tier 1 Attack : 0/50 Tier 1 Attributes : Fire : 10% Lightning : 0% Wind : 0% Poison : 50% Water : 0% Strength : 25(10) Speed : 35(10) Defense : 40(10) Titles : The Perfect Organism: Grants +10 to all stats. (The average strength of a human is 10.)] ''Finally, I can finally see me stats, do you also have a lazy system?'' I asked while walking over to the bear and rolling it over. ''No, my system, is really helpful, if I didn''t have it, I''d have died the first day...'' ''How long has it been since the zombies appeared?'' I asked while eating a bit of the bear, after eating it, I had gained 20 more points. ''Um, this should be the fourth day, zombies just appeared and a voice rang out in everyone''s heads, it said ''The tutorial has ended, Sol Realm has joined the Battle for Ascension...'' then zombies and all manner of creatures appeared.'' ''So it''s not just zombies, but multiple things hat shouldn''t exist now exist? Did you see another Xenomorph?'' I asked, curious about my own kind. ''No, I just saw strange things or really big normal creatures, there was a five meter long snake! It was so scary!'' ''Yea, and a three meter tall wolf isn''t scary?'' I asked while mentally raising an eyebrow. ''Oh, no, I forgot to introduce myself, I''m Rachel Meyers, I don''t think you''ve introduced yourself.'' She said while walking over and sniffing the remains of the bear. ''I''m, well, I don''t have a name, but I''m a Xenomorph, nice to meet you Rachel.'' I said while raising my head to her own. ''You don''t have a name? How about I give you one? It''s a bit weird to not have a name.'' ''If you want, but I''ll only accept it if I like it.'' I smilingly said while pushing myself to my feet and walking off in a random direction. To kill I smelled them before I heard them. ''There are humans in these woods, what are you gonna do?'' I asked while leaping into a tree. ''Can I go with you? I won''t be a burden, I promise!'' She said while looking around alertly. ''Yea, I don''t mind, and I can talk to you, it''d be nice to have a companion for a while.'' I climbed higher in the tree and then looked in the direction the wind was blowing. "Hey, are you sure that it''s over here?" An excited voice rang out making Rachel flinch. "Yes, I''ve been tracking this wolf from since the start of this apocalypse, it''s definitely in these woods, and it doesn''t kill, so we''ll be safe, even if we encounter it." "I''ve been dying to have some actual meat, this wolf will even boost our strength, according to the Chief." "Damn, shut up, what if you scare the wolf away, then we''ll go hungry, and we need the core intact, so no excessive use of firearms." ''What is a core?'' [Ding. A core is the amassed essence of a non-human creature.] ''Oh, so now you choose to be helpful?'' I rolled my eyes and climbed down the tree and circled around Rachel and rushed out. ''Can we not kill them? I mean, they don''t seem to be to bad?'' Rachel asked while keeping a bit of distance between me and herself. ''No can do, they need to die for treating you like an animal, you''re not something they can kill whenever they feel like.'' I said while leaping from tree to tree then I saw them ahead of me, three men in black clothes, almost resembling military fatigues appeared, slowly advancing while scanning the area. ''Okay, but do I have to kill? I don''t think I''m read yet...'' She said while closing down and crouching low against the ground. I continued forward and stopped above them, transmitting my thoughts to her. ''Well, if you don''t want to kill, I really can''t force you, but I don''t fight back, so if you think you can save me without killing them, go for it.'' I released the tree and fell in the midst of the men, making one of them scream out. Then the two in front spun around and fired at my body, and I winced feeling the bullets sting as they hit my body, however they didn''t pierce into my body. Then I heard an enraged howl and then the men turned pale in fear as a silver wolf appeared in a blur and smashed into them, sending them rolling. I climbed to my feet and lashed out with my tail, bisecting a man at the waist. The other two men panicked and fled in opposite directions, however Rachel opened her mouth and a beam of light blew one of the men away. ''Damn, you are strong and fast, yet you keep hiding and trying not to kill, killing is the natural order of the world as it is now.'' ''I know why you did it, but I didn''t know if I can bring myself to do it.'' She replied while licking my face softly. Why to kill ''Most we call all of them?'' Rachel asked as I walked over to the man she hit with a blast of energy and dragged him over. ''No, but it''s satisfying, don''t you agree?'' I asked while waving my tail around. [Ding. Host has killed one human, gained 1 point.] ''About time, are you slowing down, I killed that guy minutes ago!'' [Ding. It''s host fault, host is retarded.] ''How?! Wait you can speak normally? Then speak, I want to have some words with you!'' [Ding. Denied.] ''How can you deny me, you are my system!'' I roared in rage when I heard a soft laughter. [Ding. You misheard.] ''Oh so you can laugh, how nice, how nice, now tell me, is there a way I can get another system?'' [Ding. Denied.] ''Fuck it, I''ll stick with you for now.'' I rolled my eyes mentally and stalked over to the last remaining man who shivered in fear. ''Um, I''d be scared too, if I was in front of a giant wolf, and an alien thing.'' Rachel said while standing alertly, ready to run at a moment''s notice. ''Well I guess, what do you suppose we do now, wait for them to wake up?'' I asked while laying down, my head turned towards the man and deposited the unconscious man next to him. ''Maybe we should leave one alive so we can talk and find out information from him?'' Rachel asked hesitantly. ''Eh, if you can bypass the species barrier, sure, but if not, I get to kill him.'' I rolled over and laid down next to her warm body, basking in her warmth when a panicked shout cut through the forest. She nodded and bounded over to the two and pawed them awake. When they woke, they woke up screaming extremely loudly when they saw Rachel, making both Rachel and I wince. ''Stop screaming or I''ll tear your heart out!'' I growled at them, which in turn made them look at me and then they screamed again, louder this time. ''Am I really that scary?'' I asked myself whilst stalking over to them. "Please, don''t kill me, I have kid at home that I need to provide for!" I raised a claw, only for Rachel to dash in front of him and stop me from slashing down. ''Move aside!'' I growled at her, which made her nervously shift from foot to foot. ''No, he has a child, someone who''ll miss him when he''s gone, please don''t kill him.'' I hissed in annoyance and slashed a tree, making the man who had been granted amnesty drop to his knees while shaking. "I''m sorry for hunting you, my wife told me it was a bad idea, and I didn''t it anyway." He apologized, however if lowered his hand and reached into his boots. Then a shadow flashed and his head flew through the air, his face a mask of shock. ''I said no! '' Rachel''s hackles raised as she glared at me. Then I walked around her and stuck my tail around the boot and shook it loose. A pistol dropped to the floor, and Rachel''s eyes widened in horror. ''But he apologized! He said he was sorry!'' ''Sorry doesn''t mean anything, now kill the last one or more will come for your head.'' Rachel’s Dilemna Rachel PoV ... I whined softly while looking at the Xenomorph in front of me and while I knew he wouldn''t hurt me, or I assumed it was a he from the voice, but then again it could be a she.... ''Okay, but I can''t just go around killing everything even if you''re right. Give me some time!'' I asked while sniffing the air, to which he just gave me a side eye glance, and for how I knew, he didn''t have eyes, just call it intuition. I licked my lips, and then recoiled in horror as the thought of eating their bodies came to my mind. ''I''m a human, I can''t eat my own kind!'' I shouted mentally, missing the ''look'' I got from the Xenomorph. ''You''re a giant dog, not a human, and if you don''t get over the small things, how will you survive, I''m not asking for a drastic, terminator like change, but just be okay with humans dying, please?'' He said while walking over to me and patting my head. ''Do you hate me because I can''t kill?'' A fear of him leaving me behind made me freak out. ''Please don''t leave me behind, I''ll kill okay?! Just don''t l-leave me...'' I started to cry, and then i felt something touch me, and opening my eyes, I saw him hug me and pat my back gently, avoiding stabbing me with his claws. ''I won''t leave you, even if you can''t kill, I''d just kill you and bring you along in my stomach.'' I recoiled in horror, only to hear a hissing laugh escape his mouth. ''You baddie, why did you scare me like that?'' I placed a paw over my heart which had accelrated when he said that and sighed. ''Sigh, I once read a novels where the main character reincarnates as a aircraft carrier, and that was when I didn''t believe in reincarnation, now I believe anything''s possible, so I believe in you Rachel.'' He said while biting into the men''s heads with a tongue-like appendage that shot out of his mouth like a blade. ''Um, where should we go? I don''t mean to make you find my family or anything, they''re probably okay...'' ''Wait, I never did ask you how did you die?'' He asked while ''looking'' at me. ''Um, I was ...'' I stopped speaking as tears rolled down my eyes. ''What happened?'' He walked over to me and patted my head, then he asked softly again. ''I died, my family was running, and my father threw me into the zombies, and they tore me apart, and the zombies slowed down long enough for them to escape.'' I said whilst shivering. ''MONSTERS!'' He growled and started thrashing the ground in rage, sending dirt flying everywhere. ''If I find them, I''ll kill them, no matter what you say.'' He growled and then sniffed the air and looked over at me. ''We have a trail to follow, and while we walk, tell me about where you lived, okay?'' He asked while gesturing for me to follow. Ps. Someone else started to write a Xenomorph novel, for fans who like Xenomorphs, go read it. Amazing speed Mc PoV ... I still grumbled about killing her parents after a solid hour of walking, and to my surprise, after hearing that I wanted to kill them so much, she soon grew numb to it. ''Well, if it''s like this, she won''t attack me when I decapitate them...'' I knew I hadn''t known Rachel long, but she seemed like a good kid, and if someone had the audacity to harm her when I''m around, I''d show them something they''d never forget. I waved my tail and she looked my way, and then froze as we both looked at each other. ''There are lots of humans and zombies in the city.'' I said looming in front of us, the treeline ended and a paved road snaked in and out of the trees while a sign sat on the side of the road, blood somehow smearing it even though it was twenty feet tall. ''More like, how tall was the zombie who got up there?'' I asked to no one in particular when Rachel looked over and answered. ''Um, must be really tall, that thing is really high!'' She said, affirming what I said, which made me tilt my head. ''I never actually asked, how old are you Rachel?'' I asked, feeling as if I were stepping on a landmine, because you never ask a girl their age. ''Um, I should be fifteen if I remember right...'' ''Okay, you are not killing anybody.'' I said, my tone making the sentence final. ''Wait, what? But I thought you wanted me to be strong?'' She asked while plopping down. ''I did, but I got wrapped up and forgot to ask your age before I killed them, damn, I killed two people and left one for dead in front of a child...'' ''I am not a child! I am nearly an adult!'' She shouted whilst barking loudly, making me wince. ''Great, now all the zombies within a hundred feet are coming, maybe even more, congrats, good going, well done.'' I praised her endlessly, which made her blush, somehow, I didn''t even know a wolf could blush until today. The my tail stabbed out and impaled the nearest zombie, then I leapt over her and slashed out with my tail, clearing a path in the growing horde. ''Okay, either we go forward now, or we leave, choose one, we can''t do both, and we can''t stay here long.'' I said while notifications popped up, saying I gained a point. ''Okay, let''s go, I''m hungry and I don''t wanna eat zombies!'' She said, which made me not as I could affirm that they didn''t taste good. I spun, my tail flying out and decapitating several zombies, then I motioned for Rachel to run, and then she turned into a blur and was gone. Literally, she covered several hundred meters in seconds and did it with grace, making it the unnatural scene if her flying several meters every bound seem strangely normal. ''Okay, let''s never compete with her in speed, she probably specializes in speed.'' I reinforced the thought to make myself feel better about my speed. Farming Points I came to a stop at the edge of the horde and looked back, before deciding to feast on the points. ''It''s not like they can get through my defense anyway, but if I can evolve, I bet other things can to, so why not make myself the strongest?'' I sent my proboscis through the head of a zombie, and whipped another zombie in half with my tail. ''Apparently I can gain points by killing, and my evolution also goes up as well, guess I don''t really need to eat, aside from keeping myself in peak condition.'' I rolled to the side and dodged as Rachel pushed a zombie down and then jumped away when it attempted to retaliate. ''You do realize it can''t hurt you right? Why are you so skittish?'' I asked while spitting acid at another zombie. Then I instantly regretted it, the body started to melt, and then bones and steaming flesh fell to the ground, and the worst part? The zombie still tried to crawl over to me, even as a puddle! I snorted, making a soft clicking sound and then counted the remaining zombies and then decide to retreat, the zombie count was still growing no matter how much I killed, and Rachel was a bit faint hearted as she didn''t kill the zombies, she just knocked them over, and though they did get back up, it took a while. I looked at my points and grinned, or tried to, as I saw Rachel shiver when she looked at my grin, but anyways... I gained quite the sum of points, and then looked for a place where I could increase my stats without getting interrupted. I thought back to the princess randomly and then shook my head whilst smiling at her innocence. ''We need a place to settle down in, so we can hunt and evolve quicker, I don''t want to fall behind anyone.'' ''Um, we can go to the city''s survivor base and see if there are any buildings they aren''t using, but I don''t know if they''d let us.'' ''Hmm, we don''t need their approval, let''s go, the city is a better place to fight given my species than the woods.'' I flicked my proboscis out and smelled the air, then took of running, Rachel keeping pace as we headed into the city. Though the apocalypse was in full swing, the buildings were still intact, though zombies did seem to be everywhere, but I was silent as a ghost, and Rachel tried, I put emphasis on tried, to be silent. I came to a stop in front of a gas station, and looked over at Rachel. ''You wanted to eat right? There''s food inside, we''ll rest here for now.'' I pushed open the door and watched as she joyfully pranced in and skipped to the meat aisle and started gorging herself on meat, plastic and all. Smiling, I shut the door and looked around, wondering if the princess was still alright. Halp, I need a good book to read, any recommendations? Are you sure it’s safe? Thanks for the recommendations, here, a gift, ?, a new chapter ?! "Run!" A voice tore through the night as several people sped across a street, and launched themselves into a nearby building. Breathing roughly, they looked behind them and saw a crowd of zombies sniffing the air as they staggered forward, following the scent of humans and fear. "Damn, we took to much people, we should be left some behind!" A man in a casual shirt stained with blood said in a hushed whisper. "John, we need to go, and stop complaining, we need to get to that place so we can find food." James said while motioning the rest to come over. Then he raised a piece of wood and a hole appeared, a gaping maw into the darkness, with dust billowing in and out as if the hole were somehow alive and breathing. Several of them shuddered as they stared into the darkness, that quickly have way to the lights they carried on them as they scrambled down into the hole. "It''s a good thing your father worked in places like these James, because if not for you, we would be at that madman''s mercy." A girl whispered in his ear while they walked. Nodding, he smiled slightly, then an expression of pain flitted across his face briefly. "Damn, I left her! I will get her back!" He punched the wall, his expression a mass a fury. Daniel, a short and slim guy ran back and pulled him along. "James, we need to keep moving, if you stay here and wallow in despair, how will we save her?" James shrugged Daniel''s hand off his shoulder and pushed forward in the line and then made a left. "I thought you said it was a right? Why did we take a left?" John asked while blocking James'' path. "We need to eat, in case you forgot, we haven''t eaten in days, we need food and water before we save everyone else or we''ll just be going there to die." James spat out, and pushed John out of the way. "There''s a gas station up ahead, we''ll resupply and then find a way to set them free." He grabbed a ladder and pulled himself up, and pushed a grate out of the way. Looking up, the moon and stars were shrouded by dark clouds, as a cold bone chilling wind picked up pieces of trash and blew them along. "Quiet." James hissed as he saw a few zombies, nothing like the group they''d left behind, and half jogged to the gas station. Then he tried the door, and found it unlocked, he prayed someone else hadn''t had the same idea as him and raided the gas station before he reached. The door opened with a squeal, alerting the nearby zombies, however the party of seven all made it in before the zombies got near. Inside the gas station, darkness reigned supreme as several of them staggered over something, and they hoped it was just meat. "Are you sure it''s safe?" A girl asked while looking around wearily. Kill me! Plot is almighty, never forget that! They searched around, shining their lights around, then they all relaxed, finding the store empty, save for the bloody meat on the ground and a bag of chips that lay on the floor as if the owner left in a hurry. "Something was here, but it seems like it left, search the area, we don''t want to lose anyone." John said while stuffing his face with BBQ Lays. "Says the one whose just eating, let us eat too!" A girl whined while looking through the cash register. "Seems whoever worked here took all the money and skilled town, or died trying, but money''s useless anyway." She shrugged and closed the register, and grabbed a pack of gum and popped a piece in her mouth. Then she felt a slight breeze and looked behind her, only to find nothing there. "Hey, I found something!" James shouted as he called everyone to him. On the floor in front of him was a bloody paw print, as well as some claw marks but he didn''t know what kind of creature they belonged to. "What, so you call us like it''s important and just show us some animal tracks?" "Shut up Darren, a paw print that big would belong to an animal the size of a horse, and none of those existed, at least not for a long time." Britanny said while examining the paw print, and then Darren who opened his mouth to say something gasped and pointed before taking of running. Everyone looked in the direction he indicated, while nearly running themselves when they heard a scream in the direction Darren ran. "Aghhhhhhhhh!" Darren was rolling on the floor, his legs missing as if something took them. "Don''t leave me, don''t leave me please!" Darren moaned in pain, while everyone gathered around, and then started heading to the doors as one. "Don''t leave me!!" Darren screamed, then something glinted in the dark and his screams were cut off. "Shit, run!" They all wheeled around and took of running as something in the darkness ran after them. "Run!" James screamed as something behind him made a hissing sound as he pushed open the doors and ran out, everyone else following him. He looked behind and saw an exoskeleton of darkness, and a long sharp serrated tail. "Shit, isn''t that a Xenomorph from the Alien franchise?!" Someone screamed again and then toppled to the ground, blood pooling beneath them. "Damn it got Troy!" However none stopped running as they tore across the street, evading the zombies as the thing just charged through he zombies, obviously unconcerned about getting caught. "Jump, we need to jump a fence, maybe we can lose it after we-" A shaky voice echoed across the night, however someone just screamed at them. "Shut up, it''s a Xenomorph! It''ll climb way faster than we can, we need to lead it to him." "Are you serious? What if it kills everybody?" Someone asked as they ran, each trying to not be last. "We have to take that chance, we don''t have any better ideas." John stated flatly and then took a deep breath and yelled. Then he somehow felt that it''s attention was on him as it started to zero in on him, crossing several meters in the blink of an eye. "Damn, it''s to fast, it''s just toying with us." James spat out and then turned around and stood still. The Xenomorph slowed down and came to a walking trot as it approached him. "Kill me." James said, his words getting lost in the wind. "KILL ME!" He screamed at the thing, to which it closed the final ten feet and grabbed him by the arms with it''s arms and lifted him into the air, tail positioned over his heart. Just a flick, and it''s penetrate his body, however a blur slammed into the Xenomorph and sent it flying three meters. It got to it''s feet, hissing when it saw a wolf the size of a horse glaring at it. Divide and Conquer ''Are you certain your parents are in the school?'' I asked while looking to see if my favorite soda was in stock, only to be disappointed. ''Mmm, they ran in the direction of the school building after tossing me to the zombies, so they should be in there.'' Rachel said as she licked the blood from her muzzle. ''Oh, I can hear something, they''re coming up from below.'' Rachel said while looking at me with a panicked expression. ''I saw a door leading to the roof, let''s go up and listen, maybe they came from the school.'' We both pushed through the back door and took the stairs to the roof, and locked the door behind us. "Are you sure it''s safe?" I heard a timid sounding voice and inwardly shook my head. ''Seems like they''re not to cautious, otherwise they''d send one to inspect and keep the others inside, instead of all advancing as one.'' I told Rachel, and then she nodded after thinking it over in her head. I could literally see the gears turning in her brain as her eyes lit up. ''I know them! Their voices are familiar! They''re my classmates, I wouldn''t forget their voices.'' ''What did they do to you?'' I asked, hearing eyes normally bubbly voice seem depressed. ''They all bullied me, and the teachers didn''t do anything about it, so I dropped out of school in the second semester.'' Rachel said while looking at the cloudy sky. ''Well, since they bullied you, I have the perfect revenge for them, wanna hear it?'' I asked wickedly, my outer mouth grinning. She nodded and I began to explain the plan. ''I''ll kill one of them and make the rest flee, you stop me and try to get in their good books, then infiltrate the school, I''ll make my way in on my own, but you need to get in somehow.'' I flexed my claws and then crawled downstairs before she could object and slashed out with my tail at the nearest one, and severed his legs from his body. I stabbed down with my tail after letting him alert the others. Then they all took of running through the door, as if death were on their heels, making me smile slightly. Then I took of after them, adjusting my pace so I didn''t make them feel hopeless, then I heard the ground vibrate behind me and knew Rachel was coming. Slowing down, I impaled another guy with my tail, then dropped the body by shaking my tail, then I caught up to the boy names James and lifted him into the air, ignoring the scream to kill him. Then a ray of light slammed into me and sent me tumbling, making me shake my head to reorient myself. ''Why''d you kill them?'' She asked as she pawed the ground, both of us ignoring the boy on the ground as we circled each other. ''They bullied you, and I consider you my friend so naturally they had to die.'' I hissed angrily, feeling the anger radiating off of her, making me rethink my actions. ''Fine, but you can''t kill them anymore, they''re mine to deal with!'' I grinned and nodded and then retreated into the darkness as she walked over to the boy and nuzzled him. Upgrades I stealthily climbed onto the roof of the school building, probing the air for Rachel''s scent. ''She should be deep within the school building now, I just need to find her...'' [Ding. Host has upgrades available, would host like to view available upgrades?] ''Yes, quickly, I have a feeling something''s gonna go wrong, but I hope I''m wrong.'' I swiftly climbed through a shattered window at a speed several times faster than a human could reach then looked at the screen in front of my face. Point gained.] I stuck out my proboscis and smelled/tasted the air, a lot of zombies, at least a few hundred still aimed the halls, and the darkness that the world itself was covered in gave me no reason to hesitate. ''The hunt begins...'' I rammed another zombie away and slashed it with my claws, gouging out a good chunk of it''s brain. I threw the corpse into another unsuspecting zombie, then leapt and anchored myself to the roof, I ran along it, tail becoming a blur as I slashed the zombies as I passed by. In my wars rang the ever sweet sound of notifications of points gained. I came to a stop when I sensed a danger signal, on that made me hesitate. Then an arm pushed through the ceiling and tore a hole on it. Through the hole, I pair of savagely glowing green eyes met my gaze. ''Well, if I didn''t know better, I''d say that zombies are evolving too.'' [Ding. They are evolving, same as you are, this one is a Tier 2 zombie.] ''Oh, can you repeat that, I don''t think I heard you right, Tier 2, how?'' [Ding. The Two Bosses Fight The zombie stood still for a moment, then turned into a blur as it crossed the twenty foot distance and slammed into me. I stabbed my tail, only to have it caught, then I was spun around and slammed into the wall. Hissing in pain, the wall collapsed and I flew out several meters and then fell straight down. Befoee I hit the ground, I had recovered, and flipped around and landed nimbly, then I saw the zombie leap out of the crater on the fourth floor and landed softly besides a few zombies who obviously had seen better days, as they were in pretty terrible shape, even out of all the zombies I''d seen. Then the green eyed monster roared at me, then lunged at me, jaws snapping as it tried to bite me. ''Hey, stop looking at me while drooling, I''m not a meal, I know your stronger than me but damn, don''t look at me like I''m an appetizer.'' I hissed back, tail swishing side to side as we circled each other, each looking for an opening. Then I detxted some humans run out and start screaming, which distracted the zombie for a moment. That was all I needed, a second as I had crossed the three meters in a flash and slashed out with my tail. My tail could probably slash through titanium at the speed it was going. Just kidding, but it could slash through steel, much less flesh, and the zombie was nearly bisected at the waist, then it grabbed my tail, and slammed me against a nearby zombie, who took that as an opportunity to bite down on my head. ''...'' I gripped the zombie''s head and slowly tore it apart, brain matter spilling out, exciting the other nearby zombies. I threw the zombie at the Tier 2 zombie and watched as they both collapsed to the ground. ''Well this went better than expected, I just need to find Rachel and then her parents then we can be done with this, but what should I do after?'' I scratched my chin, and then a paw appeared out of thin and slammed into my face. Getting blown away was no joke, I could feel cracks on my exoskeleton, and green blood dribbled out from them. However I didn''t feel it, or rather I was still trying to process why it happened when I heard a whimper. ''Leave now, and I won''t kill you.'' She said while looking at me with a determined glint in her eyes. I, who couldn''t accept the fact when all evidence pointed to it, decided to do one logical thing. ''Why?'' I asked, my body trembling at the thought of my first friend abandoning me. ''Because your evil, you''re not a true friend, no true friend would make me kill my parents. You''re evil, I suprised I didn''t realize it sooner.'' She said, her body shaking, whether from rage or sadness, I didn''t know. ''So you talked to them I suppose, and they turned you against me? How laughable, I truly thought we could be friends, it seems I was mistaken.'' I shook my head, then a window popped up in front of my face. [Ding. Title The Betrayed Aquired.] Why? I shook my head, shaking off the dizzying spell I was afflicted with. ''Why?'' Just one word, yet it seemed to convey my raging emotions as she flinched slightly. ''You aren''t a good person, you kill without batting an eye, how could I stay by your side?'' ''So in the end, it comes down to your naivety? It''s the end of the world, if I don''t kill, others will, and if you believe that you can somehow make it while keeping your hands clean, forgive me but you''re an idiot!'' I yelled out in my mind. Rachel growled, her body tensed as she seemed to be debating whether to leap at me, or to flee. Then I leapt forward, my heart feeling a stinging pain as I decided to kill my second friend I''d met in the Apocalypse. Then a bang rang out and something bounced off my exoskeleton while making me frown. ''Guns, so she really is out for blood. Guess I''ll have to get a bit serious...'' I cracked my neck and stood upright, claws fully extended as I stalked over to her, to which she backed away, lips curled back exposing her dagger like teeth with a low growl escaping her muzzle. I flicked my tail and watched as a human dressed in blue clothes, a cop I''d realized ducked beneath my tail, then fired another shot with his pistol. Hissing angrily, I leapt into action, tail stabbing down at him as he scrambled to get away. Missing his body, my tail stabbed into his leg, sending blood spurting into the air. I wrapped my tail around his leg and flung him at Rachel, watching as she hurriedly evaded the man shaped projectile. He flew out and connected with the wall with a wet splat, making me happy as his body slumped to the floor. I stuck my proboscis out and sensed where everyone''s position as Rachel leapt over, claws extended towards me. I snorted, and swatted her away with my tail, drawing a thin line of blood with my tail. She whimpered in pain, and lifted her front leg into the air as she looked at me with a ragefilled expression. I shrugged my shoulders as I tried not to give a damn that I was trying to kill my friend. ''Whatever, kill first and cry later...'' I flicked my tail and channeled my rage of getting betrayed into it, and watched as a green hue appeared on my trail. [Ding. Poison attribute activated, all attacks possess the poison attribute.] I swiped my tail at her, using the flat side, and was rewarded with a sharp yelp as she crumbled to the ground, her flesh steaming where my tail connected. However she got to her feet and lunged at me, claws extended as she tried to bite down on my body. I grabbed her by the throat, my claws piercing into her flesh, then I positioned my tail over he stomach. Then I stabbed down as hard as I could, while hissing. "Shit, we need to save her!" "Keep shooting, keep shooting!" Bullet bounced off my exoskeleton as I withdrew my tail and dropped her to the floor. Afterwards, I lunged at the human who had frozen in fright and decapitated him. Ignoring the screen that popped up, I walked back toward Rachel and shook my head. ''You idiot, now look what you''ve done, even your friends won''t stay and die with you.'' I pointed my tail out and the fleeing humans and then looked down at her again. ''You''re evil and I don''t regret what I''ve done!'' She tried to leap up and bite me, however I smacked her away with a hand. ''Yes, yes, I''m evil, now go die!'' I stabbed down with my tail, however before it connected with her flesh, an enormous force slammed into my body and blasted me away. My exoskeleton cracked over my abdomen as I struggled it my feet. Then I saw a human run towards me, a cylinder in his hand and then a grenade flew out and shot towards me. Becoming blur, I leapt out of the way and evaded the blast as the grenade hit the floor several feet away. Where’d you even get a grenade launcher? I reoreinted myself and looked at the humans, a loud hiss escaping my mouth. My defense, going on the explanation and numbers, was at least 10x that of a human''s body, and the grenade launcher didn''t do much other than toss me through the air. ''You monster, you actually tried to kill me?'' Rachel practically screeched over the mental connection, to which I replied by shutting it off and shielding my thoughts. ''I did what I had to, be grateful you aren''t dead by my hand.'' I gave the humans a long look, then leapt over to them, tail curved over my body as I landed in their midst. Then I swept out with my claws, and spun around, letting my tail slice through their bodies. Some died instantly, while others fell to the ground, waist and below severed as they writhed in pain. "Damn, it took out Billy, James get the grenade launcher, you have a death wish anyway." I stepped on the grenade launcher and wondered something. ''Where''d you even find a grenade launcher in a school building?'' I walked over to the cop, who had long since emptied his clip at me, and lifted him into the air with my hands. Then I placed my tail over his chest and watched as a suspicious liquid trickled down his pant leg. ''Ew, seriously, did you pee yourself? It''s just dying, have some balls! Man up!'' I stabbed my tail through his chest as he whimpered as blood seeped from his mouth, and ran along my tail, pooling at my feet. I tossed his corpse aside and added the remaining points I gained from the humans to attack. ''Eh, should farm to level speed now...'' I watched as the humans retreated and tried to pull Rachel along with them as they fled. ''No way! If I can''t kill you now, who knows what a pain in the ass you''ll be later?'' I stabbed out with my tail, which shone with a reddish glow as the air warped around it. "Freeze!" A voice rang out, then a burst of gunfire filled the hallway I''d found myself in as bullets pelted my exoskeleton. A man armed with an assault rifle, what kind I couldn''t tell, I''m not a gun expert, but it was automatic, as he unloaded a clip at my body. ''Why say freeze if you''re already firing?'' I tilted my head as i found his clothing familiar. ''Eh, that''s right, he should be one of the men from the princess'' squad.'' I held myself back and watched as they regrouped around him. Then he took out a grenade and raised his hand to toss it at me. Tired of being thrown through the air, I spat a ball of acid at the grenade and watched as both met in midair. Then a terrible hissing sound resounded in my ears and a ball of metal, terribly corroded hit the ground with a splat. After seeing his grenade fail miserably, he pulled them into a room, while I just watched them go. It was the first floor, and though they could escape, a horse of zombies awaited them outside. ''Speaking of a horde, I can power level and get them later, not! They die now!'' I shook my head and spat acid at the door and watched as it withered away. Then pushing through the remains of the wooden door, I came upon an empty room... The Shop It just ended up this long... ? ''Where could they have gone? It''s not even like they had enough time to evacuate the room when I burst in.'' I stuck out my proboscis and smelled the air, yet their scents just seemed to disappear. ''Oh? If I''m right, this is gonna suck... If that soldier who randomly appeared have a special power, say space manipulation and held a space to another dimension like a certain mc of a novel I liked as a human, I could be waiting here indefinitely!'' I looked around and saw nothing but desks with chairs neatly pushed in, and then I lost it. My tail slashed out, bisecting desks and chairs in two as I raged and spat acid everywhere. [Ding. It is recommended host evolve quickly, or host will perish.] I stopped when the screen popped up and walked out the room and looked for a nearby zombie. ''I didn''t want to do this, I truly didn''t, but here goes nothing... System store.'' [Store] [Face Hugger 10 Points] [Xenomorph Egg 5 Points] [ Available Points : 15 ] ''Purchase a face hugger, and then find me the nearest human.'' [Ding. Nearest human is 73 meters away, in the gymnasium with several other human presences.] I head in the direction indicated, moving along the wall, because why not, it looks cooler that way. Then I came across another thing I didn''t expect, a crate sitting on the roof, visible through a window in the hall I found myself in. Shattering the glass with the swipe of a tail, I pushed myself out and climbed to the roof. Coming to a stop a few feet away, I looked at the crate, but saw no obvious markings on it. ''Guess the military dropped it here, judging from the parachute and whatnot.'' I shrugged and broke the lock on the crate easily. Popping it open, I found a beautiful gun. ''Do you identify items?'' I asked the system whilst carressing the cold metal. [Ding. It is a DPMS G2 Recon. It boasts a 16" stainless steel bead blasted barrel, DPMS hunter gas block, 4 rail free-float tube, and MagPul? MOE pistol grip and stock. All of this in a 8.5 pound platform. ] ''Well damn, I didn''t expect you to actually give me a good appraisal, guess the novels are wrong, you start out amazing appraisal-san.'' I chuckled, and made a clicking noise in actuality. ''I''ll leave you here until I find a safe place for you, you can be useful.'' I leapt off the roof and ran along the walls of the building before coming to a stop and prying open a window high up on the wall near the ceiling. ''It''ll be great if I don''t make a scene.'' I slid into the gymnasium silent as a ghost and carefully moved along the wall with practiced ease. Then I saw a human sleeping, shivering in the darkness and then I froze slightly. ''Can I do this? He has no relation to me and has done me no wrongs, should I murder him, am I really as bad as Rachel says I am?'' I froze, joints locked as I crouched on the wall. ''Perhaps I am, but then again, they''ll die soon anyway, at least he won''t become a zombie.'' I shoved my messy thoughts away and slowly climbed down from the wall, my claws clicking against the surface. Then I was close, closer than I''d ever been to a human since I''d died and reincarnated. His face was pale, and he seemed to be quite handsome, not as handsome as I was, but handsome enough. ''To bad it won''t retain your handsomeness, maybe I could use it to infiltrate if it did, but it won''t.'' I made a clicking noise, my inner jaws shut and opened and he moved, not enough to be in the clear, but enough for me to ask the system to deploy the face hugger. [Ding. Sensing host''s available for face hugger, detected one host, two feet away from host. Apply face hugger?] ''Yes, do it quickly, I don''t want others to stop it from being born.'' I watched as a face hugger appeared, literally around his face, and before he could get a single scream out, it latched around his neck with it''s tail. He thrashed softly, however he went still rather quickly, and the nearby slumbering humans kept sleeping blissfully unaware that one of their own had perished, or would perish. ''Is there a way to move him, I don''t want it to hatch here, there are to many dangers...'' I shook my head. [Ding. Host just need to drive the nearby threats away and claim the area for yourself.] ''Fine, good plan, good plan, and how will I do that? Any loud noises will draw the zombies, and if he gets killed before the chest buster gestates, I''ll be extremely pissed.'' [Ding. Host may block the doors, and keep the zombies out while farming for points.] ''I see you learn, as you just used my term for killing zombies, but why did this happen, the Apocalypse I mean?'' [Ding. Host has insufficient authority to access the Mainframe.] ''What''s the Mainframe?'' I imagined myself furrowing my eyebrows as I asked. [Ding. Host has insufficient authority to access the knowledge of the Mainframe.] ''I see... Time to see if your plan works.'' I hissed loudly, and to people who had brushes with death they flew up and looked around, only to see a long skeletal black thing with a deadly tail waving slightly behind it, right above one of them, who had one appeared to be a bag on his face. "Run! It''s a monster!" I was unsure who shouted first, but they all ran from my corner of the gym and pushed open the doors and ran outside. ''Damn, over me and the zombies, and they choose zombies? My image must not be that great...'' I climbed off the wall and walked to the doors, smelling the humans as they tried, and when I say tried, I mean tried to sneak off without alerting me. Then an idiot opened the door and rushed outside when a hand caught him and a set of jaws clamped down on his neck. ''Oh yea, that reminds me, I haven''t killed that Tier 2 zombie yet...'' I watched as its glowing green eyes focused on me, then a sliver of recognition pawed through it''s otherwise dead eyes, and it turned and ran! ''Hey! I''m not that scary, am I?'' I asked if no one in particular while sighing. The Little One The night passed uneventfully, and I looked over and found that the face hugger had fallen off sometime during the night, but the boy huddled in the corner after waking up and seeing my beautiful face. ''Sigh, why does everyone just assume I''m evil, is it because I look like this?'' I wondered while scratching my chin, then my tail swished out and severed a zombie''s head. [Ding. You have gained 1 point.] After a night of slaughter, my grand total point rose by several tens of points, nearly topping off at a hundred. [Ding. Assign points to Speed and Attack?] The System asked while waiting for an answer. ''Assign, I don''t know how much help a new Xenomorph will be, or if it''ll even listen to me, but here goes nothing.'' I watched as the boy''s chest bubbled slightly, as if something was crawling under his skin. Then the pain hit him, because the zombies came at me more frenzied, I couldn''t observe the whole process, but from what I saw, it was incredibly painful. ''Hell, I experienced the same thing myself, it hurts a lot, just relax.'' My mind connected with his briefly and he stopped thrashing for a few seconds, then he renewed his jerks and shivers as blood ran down his chest. ''Eh, do I have to find it meat to eat? Is the body here gonna be enough?'' Then I looked down at the doorway and saw a literal mound of zombie flesh and decapitated heads adorning the floor. ''Eh, should be enough, if not, it can starve!'' I shrugged and walked over to the little one as it struggled out of the boy''s chest, not wanting anything unexpected to happen. Then I felt a soft tug on my mind, and then a screen popped up in front of my face. [Ding. Due to circumstances, host has been named Queen, should an actual queen cone along and fight you for the title, you''ll lose the support of the hive as you''re not a true queen.] [Ding. Title unlocked, Queen.] ''Well, so their mine until the real one comes along? Fair enough, I''ll just work them to death then.'' Rolling my nonexistent eyes, I watched as a pale, nearly white chest buster worm it''s way out of the boy''s chest, along with fragments of bone and viscera. ''Well, you made it, congrats, now eat and grow quickly.'' I recalled my own growth with it being nothing short of outrageous, I figured that it''s growth would be as fast as mine. I was right, three hours later, a five foot long white Xenomorph walked around, and ate the corpses, acting in a subservient manner around me. ''Guess this is what royalty feels like.'' I shrugged and watched as it struck down a zombie that wandered in, it''s child-like mind screaming for blood. ''Stop, think rationally, don''t give in to your instincts, form a sense of self, this is an order.'' Much to my surprise, it nodded and then went on to kill some more zombies and devour their bodies, and then I realized something that nearly made me scream out in joy. ''Oh my God, oh my god, oh my god! Yes!'' I looked at it''s points increasing quickly as it had already taken down several zombies, and then I looked at my points, and saw it was increasing without me doing any work at all! ''It''s probably the effect of my new title, but if I made an entire hive, wouldn''t I be the strongest in the world?'' I drooled slightly, thinking of that outcome when a notification popped up. [Ding. Evolve? Y/N] ''Guess I delayed to long and it got angry...'' I hit the y button and then toppled over, unconscious as my spirit flew out of my body. [Ding. Commencing Evolution to Tier 2.] ... When my spirit returned, I heard a notification ring in my ears as I woke. [Ding. ''The feeling is surprisingly comfortable, and the glows are nice and warm, and my senses we- Wait, what the heck?'' I asked to no one as I saw a wonder that made my non-existent eyes widen. The Xenomorph I''d left in it''s developing stages... it grew to a full size Xenomorph... just that it''s exoskeleton and head were white, pearly fucking white! ''Fuuuuucccccckkkkkk! How will you ambush anything, you''re like a damn spotlight!'' Reziel I stared at it in amazement, then a hint of confusion made question marks appear above my head, at least in my imagination. ''Eh, well, I dunno what to say other than fuck!'' I looked at my forearm, and the dark glow that suffused it, which made me look all the more menacing, I could imagine, while it''s white exoskeleton gave off an extremely strange yet peaceful feeling, it was indescribable. [ Name : N/A | Species : Xenomorph | Tier 1 ] ''And what do I see here?'' A small plus sign was hidden on the edge of the screen. Pressing it, a new screen popped up. [Affinities : Holy 100%] ''Well that probably explains it...'' I flicked its head with my claws and watched as it retreated, seemingly as if it were bullied. ''Seems my order is law for it, it even started acting more like a living being than an animal.'' I looked around and saw a bunch of mats splayed out on the floor, and a few balls lying in the far corners of the gym, as well as clothes and a few sheets here and there. I mentally willed for it to walk over, and as it did, I realized that I had no name, and neither did it. ''I was never one for names, but your name shall be Reziel.'' I looked and saw that it''s name had undergone changes. [ Name : Reziel | Species : Xenomorph | Tier 2 ] ''Eh, already? Why is it''s tier so high...? Is it because I named it, or her, I think all Xenos are females... wait doesn''t that mean I''m female as well? I figured it, but never thought I''d address it so soon, especially with the Queen title.'' I walked out of the gym and looked about, the sky a mass of colors, none of them pretty, just gray and black clouds that made the atmosphere dreary. ''Okay, I doubt they''d leave without me hearing anything, and while they may have already left, I can verify and follow their scent.'' I ran back to the destroyed classroom and stuck our my proboscis, and there it was, a trail. Following the trail, with Reziel behind me, I ran along the building and then leapt vertically twenty feet to another building and caught onto a ledge. I watched as Reziel did the same, albeit landing a few moments after me, then she turned and looked at me. ''Following the scent, when we find them, we fight.'' She stared at me for a bit longer than necessary, then we continued through the ruins and zombie filled city. Noticing the buildings thinning out, I dropped onto a car, crushing the hood as glass splintered around. The surrounding zombies staggered over, only for a beam of white light to tear through their bodies like a laser. They practically disintegrated into nothing after the beam and the ground looked like lava where the beam passed! ''Holy shit, Reziel what was that?'' I asked, wanting to have a cool lazer attack instead of plain acid. [Ding. Host can buy a spell for fifty points.] ''Buy it!'' I gained enough as we followed their trail, and it seemed that they had stopped somewhere nearby, so delaying here wouldn''t affect the hunt. [Ding. Host has bought [Dark Ray].] I opened my mouth, and a beam of dark energy shot out, blowing a hole in a building several meters wide. ''Wait, how did Reziel know what to do, I didn''t even explain to her a thing?'' ''I just know, I lived a previous life, and I can remember it at all, I didn''t say anything because I thought it didn''t matter.'' She said while landing on the asphalt near me. I looked at her and snorted. ''Reincarnated beings are supposed to be rare, yet I meet them like cabbages on the street!'' ''I won''t get in your way, you gave me a second chance at life, whatever you do, I''ll follow you.'' ''I hold you to it then.'' I said while releasing a pent up breath I didn''t know I held. The Escape Guess what guys, we''re trending at number 2! ? Rachel lay on the grassy field, splayed out, blood pooling beneath her body. "We need to heal her, she helped save us!" John argued whilst pushing James to the side and walking over to her. Putting a cloth over the gaping hole in the wolf''s stomach, he looked up at the endless white horizon above him, praying to what ever god existed, that the wolf wouldn''t die. "So you mean to say, that these beasts, are people? Who died and came back as monsters that prey on humans? That''s simply absurd, if it could control life and death like that, why not wipe us out?" The man clad in black camouflage asked while keeping his rifle pointed at Rachel''s collapsed form. "Well she told us that the thing was a human at some point-" Britanny said while plopping down in the grass with a defeated look on her face when the soldier cut her off. "So the wolf speaks now? Any more fantasy elements you wish to add in before we publish this book?" He asked, his every word dripping with sarcasm. ''I made a mistake, we let it go, we should have killed it when we had the chance.'' A soft voice chimed in their heads as Rachel looked up, her eyes conflicted. "Damn, it speaks! It really talks? What''s going on in this world?" The soldier shouted to the sky. "Yea, kill it because you decided to betray it and want no loose ends, right?" James shouted at her, only for John to stand up, spin around and punch him square in the jaw. ''I did what I had to to keep my family alive, he was going to kill them!'' Rachel shouted in her mind, making the soldier roll his eyes. "Well in case you''ve forgotten, we couldn''t find them and we needed to leave, so either they get killed by the Xenomorph as you call it, or the zombies will over run them and they''ll die." He said while pulling out a pack of cigarettes. Struggling to stand, she pushed herself to her feet, ignoring the stream of blood that dripped down from her stomach. "I''m no veterinarian, but you need to heal, otherwise the zombies outside will tear you apart before you even pick up their scent." The soldier, who was named Sam said. ''I will find them...'' Rachel gritted her teeth and growled. James got up and rubbed his jaw, looking at Rachel with disdain. "Who knows when you''ll need to save somebody else, and abandon us, you should have just stayed by it''s side as both of you are monsters anyway!" John ran at James and tackled him to the floor raising his fist to strike James when the space shook. John pushed James against the ground and got to his feet as the sky cracked and a beam of dark light tore through the skies. "Damn something''s attacking the space, we need to go before it breaks down!" Sam shouted while throwing his cigarette to the floor. "The space will collapse and form a miniature singularity, and then collapse wiping out all life and things within the space." He flicked a finger and a door appeared as they rushed out, John helping Rachel as she weakly trotted through the door. Attacking a Space And we''re #2 in Zombies ? Let''s aim for number one, keep supporting me my amazing readers. ? Favorites and rates would be nice, though I dunno what they do... I fired another [Dark Ray] in the direction the system suggested, then I heard a high pitched whine, and then a group of people appeared. Reziel opened her mouth and fired a beam, which missed a blew up a car that lay on it''s side behind them. Then I saw Rachel appear, and my proboscis swept out, tasting the air. ''Long time no see.'' I said simply while looking, down at her from the three story building I stood on. ''You caught up, did you kill them?'' Her voice shook, however I didn''t feel like giving a straight answer. ''Hmmm, maybe maybe not, who knows, maybe I found them, and made them beg for life, or maybe I let them go, who knows?'' I said while climbing down the building while they trained their guns on me. ''Seems like you also found a crate, and put it in your storage. Smart...'' I released my claws and fell the last ten feet silently. Landing softly, reminiscent of a cat landing perfectly poised, I walked forward and stopped a mere ten feet away. "I am Sam, if Rachel''s right, you should be a human being, and yet you''re acting like a monster. If you truly were a human being, find it in yourself to care again, you don''t want to do this." He lowered his rifle when my tail which was pointed at them went limp. Then I leapt out, covering ten feet in an instant, and slammed the side of my tail into his gun. A crisp gunshot sounded out, making the others jittery. "Damn, zombies will be drawn to the noise, we need to finish it quickly!" John screamed and started firing rounds at me. I flicked my tail and knocked the gun from his hand, then I slammed my head into his body, sending him flying five meters out into a wall. Then he hit the floor with a muffled thud, and then went still. Turning around, I saw the boy who had screamed at me to kill him, and I stalked over to him, ignoring the metal slugs bouncing of my exoskeleton. "Kill me, being a human now is pitiful as zombies run rampant, and beasts that should exist in fiction are running around, I just want to be worry free." He said in a soft voice when a bullet hit him in the shoulder. He cried out and fell to the ground, before rolling whilst groaning in pain. I looked at the angle the bullet hit and looked back at the shooter. Seeing John struggling to his feet, I grew suprised. ''Seems some of the humans are evolving as well, otherwise where would the fun be?'' I slammed into another girl and sent her flying, my tail drawing a thin line across the soldier''s forearm. "We all are humans, can we just stop for a moment?" He shouted as my tail punched into his gut, sending blood flying everywhere. However my tail stopped when it impacted something hard, then I pulled it out, realizing that time clothes he was wearing blocked most of the bladed end of my tail, yet the impact made him spit blood. I walked over and dealt with the remaining students who were surprisingly trigger happy as they fired, some missing me by several feet as the bullets shot into the walls. ''Well, I disagree, I''m a monster, right Rachel?'' I crouched and looked into her eyes as she lay on the road, a pool of blood beneath her. ''Oh relax, I just stabbed you once, don''t look at me with such scary gaze, you''ll make me want to hurt you more.'' I spoke without thinking, then I realized I was a bit of a sadist. ''You, I''ll fight you and kill you!'' She yelled at me, her eyes glowing silver. Then I flicked her nose, my claws drawing a thin red line on her nose. ''Relax, no one''s dead... yet.'' I said, while looking at the incoming zombies. Ouroboros crashes the party! The zombies were a couple hundred feet away, and were closing in rather slowly. ''Come to think of it, I''ve never met a fast zombie besides the Tier 2 one, I guess their base abilities are crap.'' I smiled, thinking of the boost my titles gave my stats, especially Perfect Organism, which doubled when I reached Tier 2. ''Actually, in this moment, what are Tiers?'' I asked the system while trying to confirm something. [Ding. Tiers are the general ranks given to those in the transitional phase of the Battle for Ascen-] The System shorted out, or it sounded like it, because a buzz shot into my mind, nearly making me wish for death. [Mortal, know your place, some things will be revealed in time, limit your questions and focus on surviving... and should you fail and die, a fate worse than death awaits.] ''Okay, fuck, I admit I was being a bit nosy, but why''d you need to make it so that I can''t die again?'' I sighed and realized that it wasn''t the system who spoke to me but something else. Shivering from the phantom pains that racked my brain, I looked down at Rachel and then it became clear to me. ''I won''t kill you, I''ll let the zombies do it, you wouldn''t mind dying again right?'' I climbed onto a building and powered up [Dark Ray]. After several seconds of charging, a beam that looked like a certain anime with characters that screamed every time they leveled up flew towards the zombies. Then it passed through them and faded from sight. ''Eh, it seemed to be strong, why didn''t it explode or something?'' I watched as Reziel climbed down the building and stood on my right, her mind quiet. Then a wave of air pushed me back, and then I heard it. It was horrifying, with nails being dragged across a chalkboard, only a lot louder, and thunderous booms echoed from the direction I shot the beam in. Then I looked at her with one expression on my face. ''Run!'' We both wheeled around and ran, becoming a literal blur as we hopped from building to building, trying to get away. The last I saw of the humans and Rachel, they were entering their cheating space, then the skies darkened. And though they were dark before, they were darker than an abyss now. That''s when a screaming wind raced out blowing Reziel and I several hundred feet away. We landed without difficulty, and just as I was about to comment it wasn''t so bad, a car slammed into me. I went flying down the street, taking out several cars as we went along with a few zombies who were unfortunate enough to become meat patties on the road. I climbed out of the dented truck, and looked up and blanched. ''What is that, system identify!'' [Ding. Name : Ouroboros | Species : World Serpent | Tier : Heaven Rank | Weakened 99% ] ''What the hell is heaven rank and why did it come here?'' I asked while Reziel dodged the flying cars and made her way over to me. I looked at it''s enproud body, several miles long from what I could see, with sharp jagged scales adorning it''s body. Then I felt a tug and felt the [Dark Ray] burst apart. Afterwards, the world seemed to be in upheaval and all my energy drained, and then my exoskeleton cracked on several places from the wave of force that washed over me. [Ding. Accept quest? Y/Y] Higher Dimensional Beings At 3:34 PM, when the earth shook, humanity lost the war, looking at the watch on a zombie''s detached wrist, I looked up and saw something legends were written about. ''Why is there a demon in front of me?'' I asked Reziel while crouching in the shadows. ''I have not the slightest clue, maybe it has something to do with the alert telling everyone that a dimensional rift opened up.'' I looked at her shocked. ''Awww, it''s the longest sentence you''ve spoken, come here you adorable thing!'' I guess somewhere in the middle of our conversation, the demon left, leaving several corpses beneath it, half eaten. ''Sigh, what to do, demons are all Tier 2 and above existences, and we have to fight that monster of a being named Ouroboros. Isn''t he the snake that devours his own tail or something?'' I wondered briefly at the intelligence of such a creature when the ground shook. ''Shit, it was safe with the zombies and everything, but now random creatures keep appearing! I need to find a place to evolve!'' I climbed a building nearby, looking down at a parking garage with a few zombies within, and decided to keep climbing. ''Best to be safe, I can get into this building via that window and then evolve in safety. Then I remembered the scene of Ouroboros slithering away on air, and realized i wasn''t safe in the slightest. [Ding. (The average strength of a human is 10, Host is 32.5x stronger than a normal human being.)] ''Damn, what are the stars and what do they do?'' I asked softly in my mind. [Ding. Stars are the true measurement used to classify strength in the Omniverse, one star is the highest form of measurement, with nine being the highest of the high. Beings with 9 Star ratings grow and develop quicker than normal. Simply put, their geniuses.] ''So my growth potential is weak?'' I asked trying to figure out how to increase it. [Ding. Host''s growth potential increases with every evolution, the next evolution may raise it to the peak, it may be a randomly dealt hand that decides your talent, similar to gambling that some beings play.] ''Okay, evolve my evolution and Reziel, protect my body, last time I fell asleep.'' ''I will, don''t worry.'' Her tail moved side to side, showing her anxiousness. [Ding. Evolving host into Princess Xenomorph...] Then darkness greeted me. ... When I opened my eyes, the world had a strange hint of color to it I''d never seen before. ''Come my child, sit, we have much to discuss and so little time.'' I spun around to find the source of the voice, then my eyes widened and I had trouble focusing. Her body was so beautiful and tender looking, it hurt just by looking, her features were divine, making her look like a goddess descended to the mortal world. "Thanks for the compliment, I am not a lowly god though, Ouroboros is a god however, a Heaven ranked one at that, you''ll have quite the struggle before you if you want to emerge victorious." I realized that she was talking, and tried to talk as well. "Um, who are you? And why am I here, I was evolving and then I was here?" I looked around, and realized that shapes seemed to stretch and distort as I looked at them. "Don''t bother trying to figure out where you are, it''s the 4th Dimension, you''ve probably never been here before. Or rather you never have, I''m sure of it." She frowned as she looked over at me. "Child, I am the one who made you into a Xenomorph, I know you may despise me for it, but it''s your fate to not be human." She said while lifting a glass that appeared to her perfectly sculpted lips. "I don''t mind the transition, but who are you?" I asked trying to find some common ground, because though she looked delicate as a flower, calling Ouroborus like it''s nothing but a speck of dust. "I''m Nyx, the Lady of the Night, and you are a human who didn''t want to be one, and a perfect Xenomorph, how about you call me mom?" She said while looking at me with hope filled eyes. "Eh, no my mother disappeared shortly after I was born so I can-" Wait, if I looked past the divinity the shrouded her, the contours of her face and her hair color, midnight black resembled my own... "Wait, I know you aren''t who-" She cut me off by placing a hand over her lips. "Yep, I''m your mom, it''s been a long time son." She said it casually, but the weights that pressed on my chest made it seem as if the world was crashing down around me. I wanted a daughter She crossed her legs and flicked a hand and the sky changed. Like someone pressed the fast forward button and soon the sun was gone from the sky, or maybe it was just called a star, as the sun was the name for our star. "You don''t seem to suprised that I''m your mother." She said in an even tone, a slight smile on her face. "I never really got time to spend with my adopted family, and you weren''t around, so you can''t expect me to just run into your arms." "I don''t, and please child, I watched over you all your life, your story is so much sadder than you let on." She looked at me and sighed softly. "Well, I came here to tell you one thing, never trust the gods, and don''t trust those in the Beyond Realm either. We''re just a bunch of old foggies playing around, I don''t want my son wrapped up in our games." She patted my head softly, and then I smacked her hand away. "I know you wouldn''t accept me as quickly as I had hoped, but if you continue to disrespect me, I''ll put you over my leg and spank you." She said with a serious tone, her eyes glimmering in the dark. "Why did you leave me?" I asked, wanting more than anything to know the answer. "Because I wanted a daughter, and you were obviously a boy, so I ran off and waited until I could influence that damn world you were in." She said like that explained everything, but then she looked up at the sky and a soft small appeared on her face. "Still, you are my child and I won''t let anyone lead you astray. Even if you don''t accept me, accept my title when you return. It was a nice chat, but you have got to go back before you soul leaves your body fully..." "And what happens when that happens?" I asked while starting to panic. [Ding. Waking host.] Over the sound of the system, I caught a few words from my mom as she broke down into dark mist. "I- -love- .. ou?" It sounded more like a question than a statement, but I digress. ... The world did a front flip and then I leapt to my feet, and into the roof, through the roof, and into another roof, before my momentum killed itself. I saw Reziel walking out of the hole I''d made, looking at me while question marks floated above her head. [Ding. Evolution to Princess Xenomorph complete, title aquired Child of the Beyond, equip?] I looked down and realized my body changed, and a small screen popped up with me on it. My head was no longer dome shaped, it ended in two crowns, and my body got decidedly more slimmer. ''I accept the title. It''d be a waste not to as she gave it to me.'' I looked at the title and nearly died in shock. ''What happened?'' Reziel leapt over to me and looked around for an enemy. ''It changed, but that''s to much! Why is it like this?'' [Ding. Host has gained a title : Child of the Beyond +10 Stars to potential.] ''So not only am I like those cheatlike protagonists, I also have world shaking talent? And a powerful mom? Isn''t this to cliched?'' I asked Reziel, only for her to give me a once over. ''I wasn''t aware that you were so well connected, I''d have asked for a system upgrade instead of being angry at our mother.'' I nodded, finding wisdom in her words, until my mind ground to a stop. ''You said our mom, as in me and yours? Wait, you''re the daughter she always wanted?'' I screamed while tackling her to the ground gently. ''Yes, it would appear so, I died the same time you did, and she sent me into the cycle of reincarnation until you produced a Xenomorph for me to take over. She said ''Always listen to your big brother, or I''ll be real angry, okay?'' ''Damn, so you knew who I was all this time, and you didn''t tell me?'' I asked while looking down at her. She pushed me off while giving me an annoyed glance somehow, and then murmured. ''I thought you knew, otherwise why would I have reincarnated in such a backwater Realm?'' ''Backwater? Wait, this is the second time I''ve heard the term realm used, what is it?'' ''The Sol Realm is what you call the ''universe'' we now reside in, and it''s just a tiny particle world to the existence that wield true power. They could annihilate all life in the Sol Realm with a sneeze.'' ''Holy shit, then why are we so weak? And in such a lowly place? Mom should have at least left us in a good spot.'' I whined to her to which she just patted my back. ''Wait, why did you not have a name?'' I wondered aloud. ''We both have names, but it''s tied to a different system, we''re using the Secondary System, not the Main System, so our names weren''t updated when we died and switched over to a new world.'' I inhaled a breath of air, then gave her a withering look. ''Don''t tell me I lived a past life like you did?'' ''You did, your name was Day then...'' What to do? I pulled away from Reziel as she sat up and hissed at me. ''Yes yes, I''ll leave you be, if you don''t wanna tell me, it''s all good...not, tell me what i was like!'' ''You were annoying, a crybaby, and a dunce, all in one, you were an idiot, a stupid child.'' I looked at her disdainfully and snorted. ''I was older than you, more like you were an idiot, and a crybaby?'' She looked away, her white exoskeleton somehow turning a light shade of red. ''Ha, you blushed? You just did, didn''t you? My little sister is so cute!'' I picked her up and swung her around in the air. ''Put me down, I don''t like the swings you do.'' She said whilst struggling. ''Why not, I mean, it''s not like I''ll drop you or any-'' I felt a wave of vertigo and then we were both falling. ''You can''t even keep yourself upright when you spin, much less me, no more spins.'' Our claws shot out and we latched onto the building and slowed to a stop. Somehow we had fallen out of the skyscraper... We climbed into the window after it shattered and saw a few zombies just blankly staring at us. ''...'' We both looked at each other in sync, then looked away, as the zombie lunged at us. Then our tails swept out, and the zombies fell apart, some in several pieces. I climbed down the building, Reziel following behind as she carefully placed her claws down, not trying to fall out of a sky scraper again. After a minute more of walking, we made it to the ground, then she opened her mouth and a beam of light shot out. A demon who rounded the corner of the building looked up, then a beam, seemingly looking like divine punishment, slammed into the demon. A piercing light followed, and when I could see again, the remains of the demon sat in a crater, several meters deep. I looked at the demon, and then dropped down and walked over, ignoring the superheated ground and took a bite. My eyes lit up as the soft and tender meat slid down my throat. [Ding. You have gained 3 points.] ''I got three points for a piece of demon meat? I''m going to farm the demons instead!'' I opened my mouth and tasted the air, and smelled a demon in the vicinity. Looking up when a shadow flew by, then something hit me in the back of the head. I felt my head jerk, and then felt something climb onto my back and slam something away. When I recovered, I saw a demon, with a humanoid body and goat legs standing before me. [Ding. Name : #%@&@% | Species : Demon | Tier : 3 ] ''Looks like I can go all out....'' I stretched my body and walked towards the demon confidently. ''I may not have fought you before, but I can take you down easy.'' Then another demon, this time with a bulls body and a human head appeared. And he was also Tier 3, and then another, and another... ''The fuck, fight me one on one if you have the balls! Otherwise your all cowards!'' I yelled at them, but only a hiss came out. Then they all charged at me, and I turned around and ran. ''Brother, please don''t let them kill you.'' I saw Reziel running ahead of me, a literal blur as she raced ahead. I looked back, just in time to see a red beam shoot from a demon''s mouth and then tore into a building to my left, and then it exploded. ''Must have hit a gas tank...'' I tried to assure myself that it was just happenstance, but another beam broke that reality. A beam hit to the right this time, and a car exploded into flames and shrapnel as I flew by. Then I got annoyed and charged my own beam and fired it over my shoulder. After a beam of dark light tore out of my mouth and tore through the torso of a demon, then he blew apart. His buddy''s and him were blasted away and into a building and then I lost sight of them as soon as we turned the corner. I grinned as she stood there, then I imagined her rolling her eyes at me, which drew a smile to my face. ''I''m glad I have you as a sister Reziel, you make me feel at ease.'' I said, truthfully speaking to her to which her head lowered. ''M- -o.'' She muttered softly. I just grinned, and then a colossal hand reached over and slammed into the ground on front of us. Then a body, probably thirty meters tall appeared through the rubble of a building and stood upright, looking down at us. ''Um, that''s new, Find the Princess I let our a breath as the giant took a step forward, makinhnthe ground shake. ''Um, we came to the wrong place and...'' I trailed off as I saw the thing lift it''s leg, then swung it down, and punted Reziel like a soccer ball. ''Er, Reziel? You good? Are you alive?'' After finding out my mother was a literal powerhouse who could alter life and death, I adopted a much more easy going attitude. ''Why fret, I wonder if I was this way in my previous life...'' I looked up just in time for a giant toe to slam me in the side and send me flying into a building. The three story brick building now had two holes on the side, as I crawled out of the rubble, I saw Reziel lying on the ground, sprawled out. ''Eh, are you alive sister?'' I asked while rolling over and climbing to my feet. ''I''m fine, just resting, that giant is Tier 4, in the ancient says, they called them titans. They were killed en masse by Tier 5 beings. I can hazard a guess as to why.'' She said, and got to her feet and opened her mouth, a beam forming at the tip of her proboscis. A ray of light shot out and hit the giant in the chest, and a few thunderous steps later, it had collapsed on a smaller building. ''Ooooh, face hugger, get!'' I ran outside and leapt toward the giant, becoming a dark streak as I shot out. I landed on the giant''s chest and purchased a face hugger from the shop. ''Equip the face hugger on the titan.'' Then an enormous face hugger appeared, especially created for the titan. [Ding. Variant Xenomorph Phenotype Discovered : Titanomorph.] ''Eh, where''s the creativity? Why did you just add morph to the end? That''s rather lame...'' [Ding. System finds host exceedingly lame.] ''Oh, so you''re getting cheeky with me?'' I grinned and watched as the giant flailed it''s massive arms, then realized a problem. ''How am I going to feed this one? It''ll grow big, but please don''t be a glutton.'' I prayed to my mother, and watched as the face hugger fell off, and I guessed that the chest buster was already in it''s gestation phase. ''Well, we got a ride!'' I yelled up at Reziel who stuck her head out and looked down at the limp giant. ''Why don''t you just release face hugger en masse and rule a hive?'' She asked whilst tilting her head. ''I dunno, on some level, I didn''t want to be a queen, however it doesnt matter much does it?'' I shrugged as she just gave me a weird gaze, then she turned and looked as something swam around in the giant''s body. ... Night fell, and a few demons popped up here and there, yet they were always together and a pain in the ass once you started fighting because they''d try and swarm you. After what seemed like the seventieth demon appearance, a zombie staggered out of the building we crashed into earlier, looked at the giant lying comatose on the ground, and ran. When I say ran, I mean ran, it left gouges in the earth as it tore over to the body, only for a beam of light to tear through the chest of it, and the rest of the body immolated and only ash was left behind. ''It was going to interrupt, it''s better to not have interruptions.'' Reziel said simply while looking around. ''You''re right, but what about the humans of this world? How will they fight Ouroboros?'' ''They''d have to really struggle and defeat him, or the Sol Realm will fall and become an Abandoned Realm, where are life will mutate into horrid monsters and they''ll essentially be in what the mortals of this world consider Hell.'' ''Oh, what determines if the realm fails or not?'' I asked while shooting a thin [Dark Ray] at a demon squad, which blew them apart. ''The system, if you fail the Battle for Ascension, your realm will fall and become and Abandoned Realm, deserted by both gods and the system.'' ''What is the Battle for Ascension?'' She sighed, or at least I think she did as she sat down, her tail flicking here and there leaving thin red lines on the titan''s skin. ''It''s the collective will of a realm fighting for a chance to ascend, if they ascend, they become gods, if they fail, they become terrors and horrors that haunt the deepest parts of the Abyss.'' ''Who iniated the Battle for Ascension anyway?'' I asked while wondering how they''d would be okay with all the deaths, when my mother popped into my mind. ''Never mind, I understand, they simply don''t care...'' I shrugged as well, I wasn''t a native to this world apparently, and the inhabitants were nearly all dead anyway. ''Wait, I miss that little girl who like a fool, slept on a monster.'' I snorted as I thought of it. ''Oh I know, since we don''t have anything to do right now, let''s go find her!'' Readers Opinion Should I keep writing, I just randomly wrote and it turned out like this, or I could go back and focus on just the apocalypse? Help me, I can''t decide alone. ? A Golden Ride ''I wanna see her, she''s so adorable.'' I murmured quietly as I watched as the titan''s chest squirmed and bubbled. ''You''re a lolicon brother?'' Reziel asked while placing a hand over her face. ''How? I just like her, she''s a cute child.'' I responded while smacking her hand away from her face lightly. ''I''m sure that what they all say...'' She trailed off as the titan''s skin erupted as blood streamed from the wound, though the blood wasn''t normal, it was a light gold color. ''I guess it''s ichor, maybe this thing is really special after all.'' I scratched my chin with a claw when a screen popped up. [Ding. The Titan King Kronos has arrived, flee or survive, dark days are upon the world...] [Ding. Can host please explain what you''re doing?] ''Eh, waiting for my newest member to arrive.'' I shrugged when a screen appeared in front of my eyes. [Ding. Why are you sitting on the corpse of the Titan King!?] The system shouted in my mind making me wince. ''Um, so I bought I face hugger for ten points and put it on him because I wanted something to carry me around.'' I twiddled my claws together when I saw a message that made my eyes widen. [Ding. User Nameless has conquered Titan King Kronos, they have been awarded 1 Drop of Ichor, and 100,000 points.] ''Eh, so I can just buy face huggers and put them on and it counts as a kill? Isnt that cheating?'' I watched as a chest buster pushed it''s way out of the fallen titan''s chest, completely gold in color. ''I''m rich.'' I yelled at the sky as it started to devour the body. ... Three hours later, the golden Xenomorph was nearly fifteen meters tall. ''Well I knew it''d be big, but why are you this big and so shiny?'' I climbed around on it''s back in wonder. ''I wonder if it''s real, maybe I could sell this guy off.'' I swallowed thinking of the money I could make, then I remembered it was the end of the world and all and couldn''t use money anymore. I gestured for Reziel to climb aboard and then decided on a name for the giant golden Xenomorph. ''Truck-kun, this way you can run people over and help them reincarnate earlier.'' [Ding. Individual Nameless has named individual Nameless Truck-kun.] ''There we go.'' I felt a sliver of energy drain from my body and enter the giant Xenomorph. ''It''s not like Reziel where she was instantly conscious, guess I can only give basic commands. Now which direection should I head in?'' I laid flat on the Xenomorph and told it to run full speed ahead. Then the air resistance nearly tore me off as it took off running at a speed I may not be able to match. ''Brother, this is made from the blood of gods, of course it''s stats are quite high.'' ''Ya think?'' I asked while holding on for dear life, then I recalled I didn''t even set a destination. ''Eh whatever, we''ll find them eventually.'' I sighed and settled down as the wind rushed over me. Bandits ''Cliche!'' I screamed as I saw a car pull up along the running Truck-kun and bullets flew out, sparking as they hit his exoskeleton. Then he flicked his hand out the car went flipping away and then it landed several tens of meters away on it''s side, it''s occupants most likely deceased from the force Truck-kun put into his hit. ''Brother, there''s more of them.'' Reziel said while flipping around and poised to leap off Truck-kun when an explosion rocked Truck-kun and made him veer to the side, sending his passengers, me and Reziel flying into the ground. Sliding across the asphalt, I pushed myself up while shaking my head. ''Ugh Truck-kun, come pick us up, we fell off.'' I watched as the golden giant wheeled around and ran back towards us at full speed. ''Hey, hey, hey! We''re right here! We are you going?'' I watched as he slowed down and then tilted his head and made a clicking sound. ''Guess he''s not all the way there yet, maybe I should treat him like a child?'' I climbed to my feet and stood bipedally, and watched as a car neared me, then started reversing like crazy. ... "Run him over, anything that we find on his body will be yours." Fred said while grinning from ear to ear. "Are you sure, I mean, they were riding that big golden alien thing, what if it comes back to kill us?" "Of course I''m sure, probably some human who probably got a mount or somethin-" His voice cut out as if he were being choked. They saw a black skeleton of a thing pull itself free from the crater it made in the road and climb to it''s feet, then it looked at them, or at least they thought they did. Then Alex put the car in reverse and pressed down on the pedal. The car picked up speed as they retreated, yet none of them said a word. Afterwards the being started running, and one of the humans used the system Appraisal on it. [Ding. N/A | Species : Xenomorph | Tier : 3(+) ] "We''re dead, we''re gonna die, we''re screwed!" Tears started to leak from his eyes as he looked at the screen in front of him. "What what did you see?" Alex asked while trying to turn the car around. "It''s Tier 4 man, we''re all dead!" Fred reclined in the seat and stared blankly at the ceiling. "Shit, do we have any more grenades?" Alex asked while looking in the mirror. "Yes, but that monster will still ki-" A beam of light hit the front of the car and blew the hood off. The car slowed down as the engine smoked and steamed, clearly disabled. "The engine''s shot to hell, we need to run the rest of the way." Alex quickly got put of the car and gestured for the others to follow him when a small beam of light tore through his leg. Blood didn''t even splash as he fell to the ground with a thud, as the light had burned the blood and sealed the wound with pure heat. "Alex!" A girl jumped out of the car and cradled Alex in her arms, trying to drag him to safety. Then she heard a thud and saw the golden monstrosity towering over them. ''We''re dead, I''m sorry Alex, I''ll miss you mother.'' Then the hulking golden monster froze and then went flying a few tens of meters, making the earth shake when it landed. Meeting the Princess If you can, supporting me on PayPal would be nice ? I watched as Truck-kun climbed to his feet, and stood on his hind legs, reaching a staggering twenty five meters in height. ''Who shot him? I didn''t see a projectile.'' I watched as something sparked on Truck-kun''s exoskeleton, and he was blown away again! ''I don''t know how heavy he is, but he has got to be upwards of a couple tons, yet he''s getting blown away?'' I leapt forward and looked down the street and saw a car several hundred meters away, with a conical roof on the top. Then I saw a burst and I leapt to the side, landing in a puddle of stagnant water. ''Seriously?'' I asked to no one in particular, as a wave of force blasted me backwards. I climbed to my feet, happy that my exoskeleton protected me from the damage when I got hit by a car. ''Okay, I was gonna fight like a normal Xenomorph, but I''m tired of getting hit and run over by cars!'' I opened my mouth and a beam of darkness shot towards the car that was approaching, trying to run me over for round two. I watched as the beam shot towards and hit the car into the air, and then nothing happened... Then a horrible screeching sound resounded across the sparsely wooded area we found ourselves in, then something in the sky moved. At first I thought it was a cloud, but then I heard a loud hiss that made me shiver and then I saw it and started cursing. ''Why? This is the second time now you appear when I want to blow something up, why do you keep butting in?!'' Yelling at the giant snake, I watched as it landed a few thousand meters away and started to slither over to me. ''Eh, on second though, do as you please, Truck-kun full speed ahead!'' I leapt on at the same time Reziel did, then Truck-kun accelerated and left the snake in the dust. ''Haha, it''ll never catch us now!'' I screamed in my mind, only for my hopes to be shattered. Then I saw a shadow overhead, and then it landed, body coiled, blocking every direction we could go in and it brought it''s head closer and seemed to peer into my soul. ''What are you?'' It asked while flicking it''s tongue out and tasting the air. ''I''m a Xenomorph, what do you want?'' I asked while looking at it in the beautiful golden eyes, which made the black scales stand out even more. ''You''re power, I want it, it''s addictive, give it to me.'' Lowering it''s head, it looked at Truck-kun, and then swatted him away with it''s mile long tail. Me and Reziel, or rather me, hung in the air as a colossal jaw snapped shut, and then I realized I was in it''s mouth. It tried to swallow me, but I stabbed my claws into it''s tongue, which felt like I was stabbing into titanium. I slashed the walls, only to realize that my claws couldn''t penetrate it''s insides at all, and it stunk, it was utterly rancid inside it''s mouth. Sitting down, I opened my mouth and charged up a [Dark Ray]. I dunno how long I sat in it''s stomach, or how long I charged the beam, but when I fired it passed through the fleshy prison I was in and bored straight upwards. ''Eh, look the jaw opened!'' I ran out and then screamed in fright. ''Sky, flying, I''m flying?'' I looked at the ground, several hundred meters away, then I looked back at the prison of meat I was in and decided I didn''t want to spend a second longer in that stinky prison. I leapt out of the mouth and fell, and fell, and fell, until I hit the ground with a thud. The jolt ran up my legs, and I knew if I was human I wouldn''t have survived at all. At least not without increasing my Tier a lot. I climbed to my feet and looked around and then realized I seemed to be in a walled in space. ''Did I fall through a roof or something?'' I looked around and saw a little girl huddled in the corner behind a sofa. ''Eh, she kind of gave me a surreal feeling, like as if I met her before...'' ''Wait, isn''t that the princess?'' I looked as she came out from behind the couch and then her eyes lit up when she saw me. "Mr. Alien!" She ran over and hugged my leg while wearing a pouting expression. I looked at her and then my imaginary brows furrowed, as I looked around the room. ''Mr. Alien, Mr. Alien, I got stronger!'' She said while waving her hands about, nearly making my heart melt. ''It''s criminal, how can someone be this cute? Wait, I am not a lolicon!'' ''What''s a loolikon?'' She asked, accidentally muffling her voice as she climbed around my body like a jungle gym. ''Sigh, where are we?'' I asked while making note that the room I was in must have cost a fortune! ''We''re in Pangea, the base for humans, how did you get here Mr. Alien?'' ''Damn, a human form would be nice! How am I going to escape now?'' I looked at the door as I heard someone banging on the door. "Princess, are you okay? We heard a crash! PRINCESS!" I saw the door shake and realized they were gonna bust down the door. [Ding. Human must reach Tier 5 for a human form, advance all attributes to Tier 5?] ''Do it, I don''t want them to freak out when they see me, they might hurt the princess as well if we got into a fight.'' [Ding. Host has reached Tier 5, humanoid form available. Host is 55x stronger than the average human.] I quickly clicked the button and felt myself shrink down from 9 feet tall to just under five and a half feet, which was rather short! ''Hey, hey! Give me my height back!'' Then I felt something growing on the outside of my exoskeleton, and looking down I realized it was skin. My head shrunk and became normal sized instead of being really long and having crowns on the ends. Then I looked down and realized I was clad in black clothes the system apparently gave to me and then I looked in the mirror and nearly threw up. Mr. Alien was beautiful! ''Mr. Alien, Mr. Alien, why do you look like a human now?'' The princess asked as she giggled as I tossed her into the air. Surprisingly, she flipped like an acrobat and landed on the couch, hands apart as if she were waiting for applause. I clapped just as the door burst into wooden splinters, and men armed with guns rushed in and pointed them at me. "Who are you and why are you in a restricted area?" A dark skinned man shouted, to which I covered my ears. ''My senses are nearly 55x greater than a human, it''s like he''s grinding my brain to nothingness. Maybe I should just go back to my old form, I mean it doesn''t have the same problem as this form...'' I wondered why my human form was so sensitive when I looked at my stats. "You, answer now or we will shoot!" My hair, which fell to my waist covered my face which probably creeped them out a little, I mean I would be scared if something randomly appeared in a room with with long black hair covering it''s face as well. "Leave Mr. Alien alone, he is my friend!" The princess ran in front of me and spread her arms out, and it touched my heart. "Princess, please move out the way until we deal with this situation." However the man inched to the side and aimed at me. "Princess, move out of the way." I flicked a hand and their guns went flying from the gust of wind that accompanied the motion. I held the princess next to my chest, to which she just snuggled closer into my shoulder. "What are you?" The dark skinned man said, who had a name stitched into his green camouflage suit. "Mr. Henry, please don''t make this any more difficult than it has to be, I''ll be leaving now." My voice sounded a bit like my mom''s, light and silvery, however it possessed a sense of danger they made others uncomfortable. Then my skin started flaking and my exoskeleton beneath was revealed. ''System, what''s happening?'' I asked while looking as my skin slowly dissolved. [Ding. Host''s blood is highly acidic, meaning that host can''t maintain a human form for more than two minutes before the body completely breaks down.] ''Then what was the point of me upgrading then, it''s practically useless!'' [Ding. System never said how long it would be available, and it was a one time thing, unless host reaches a High Tier, you''ll be stuck as a Xenomorph.] I blanked, then ran and looked down and saw a thirty story building standing besides the one we were in. I took a running leap, placed the princess on my back and leapt through the window, making sure not a fragment of glass touched the princess. Then we fell fifty feet and I landed nimbly on the edge of the building. "More, more!" She squealed from my back while my human form finished breaking down. ''Sigh, I can''t even talk anymore, why did I purchase this useless, wait how much did that skill cost!'' [Ding. It costed all the points you had, host is now in human terms, broke.] ''Fuck you, fuck you system, you knew what would happen, and you still cheated me out of my points!'' [Ding. Host is just an idiot.] "Mr. Alien was beautiful! Now you are back to normal!" She climbed from my back to my forelimb and swung back and forth. ''Yep, do you wanna go on an adventure?'' I asked while placing her in my arms and leaping from rooftop to rooftop. "Yes! Let''s be pirates and steal the treasure!" I smiled at her antics as she hooked a finger and made a pirate sound. Wake Up! I landed in a clearing, being as nimble as possible to not jolt her and looked back to the twenty story building I jumped off of. [Ding. Host has reached the required amount for evolution, however host needs to undergo a special quest to advance in evolution.] She slipped out my hands and ran to a swing set and started swinging while humming to herself. [Ding. Host must defeat another Xenomorph hive to evolve into the Xenomorph Queen.] ''Damn, I don''t even have my own Xenomorphs, and you want me to fight an entire hive?'' I rolled my eyes as I walked behind the princess and pushed her. She smiled at me while grinning to herself, which made me imagine raising an eyebrow. "Mr. Alien, daddy will be mad if he comes back home and I''m gone." She tugged my arm and pulled me from the swing. ''Where are we going now?'' I asked while allowing her to drag me along. "To daddy! He wants to meet you, I think? Or maybe he''s looking for me, he seems angry though!" She covered her face with a hand and made an exasperated face. [Ding. World Alert : A-939673 Xenomorph Hive has collided with the Sol Realm! Survivability of the realm has gone down by twenty percent, survival is the key.] ''Is that the Xenomorph hive I need to fight?'' I asked while looking as the cloudy dark skies got darker. Then I heard a grating sound and then a Xenomorph appeared in front of my eyes. Like literally appeared... out of nothingness! And formed a Xenomorph which lunged at the princess. I swept out with my tail and slashed it''s head in half, watching as it''s acidic green blood melted the sidewalk. ''Come princess, maybe you should stay behind me...'' I heard the sound of claws scrapping against concrete and saw a Xenomorph leap from ten feet away, claws extended trying to end the princess'' life. I grabbed it by the head, and applied a bit of pressure, causing it''s acidic blood to trickle over my hands. I dropped it''s mutilated head on the ground after tearing it off of the body. "Mr. Alien is super strong! I want to be like Mr. Alien when I grow up!" I sighed, saddened by the fact she had to grow up in such a messed up world. ''Hold on, I need to find my sister.'' I said while looking for a working car, and strange as it had been, ever since the demons appeared, I hadn''t seen a single zombie. [Ding. The zombies were sent to their own world, as was the demons when the Xenomorphs invaded.] I looked up, only to see a towering Xenomorph, shall we than Truck-kun, but bigger than me by at least two full heads. I leapt aside when a tail with an axe tip smashed into the ground in front if me. Watching the giant Xenomorph, I realized it had three crowns on it''s head, instead of two like me, so I knew it was the next step in evolution, at least for me anyway. [Ding. Name : N/A | Species : Xenomorph | Tier 6 ] I looked down and saw a gash in my exoskeleton, and then the Queen was upon me, claws extended. I flicked my tail at her forearms, only for it to bounce off as sparks flew. I lunged at her throat and shot my inner jaw out, trying to end the fight quickly when a distortion caught my eye. It looked like a game, pixelated and wrong, at least for the real world. I watched as the Queen charged at me, head lowered trying to smash me into nothingness. Then the pixelated shapes moved and formed letters. [Wake up! Quickly! You don''t have a lot of time!] I frowned as I was awake, when the crowns of the Queen smashed into me and drew blood. I hissed and climbed to my feet. [Wake up! Number nine, wake up!] ''What do you mean? I felt a tug on my brain and then something sliding out. [Ding. Thanks for playing Xenomorph Adventures. Logging out user.] Then the world turned gray as all sound and light faded away. Soon I was standing by myself, in a human body with no one or thing around me. I looked down and realized my body slowly changed into the of a Xenomorph, and that I had a number 9 branded onto my head. [Ding. Resyncing host, Starting simulation, wiping memories of- #$&%%#@ We don''t have a lot of time, wake up and get out of the cell, you''ll need to figure out how to escape by yourself, I stopped it from wiping your memories, now go.] ... I raised my head and tried to move my body, then I realized I couldn''t. My arms were locked into a metal casing, with bands of steel locking my wrists in place. I looked up and saw a mirror with the reflection of myself. I was a Xenomorph, however instead of the evolution I had before, I was back to the basics. "I repeat, there has been a containment breach, all personel evacuate the base at once." A siren rang in my ears as a red light spun on the ceiling above. I felt the restraints on my body and arms loosen and I yanked myself away, snapping the metal. ''Where am I? I remember fighting the Queen and then something told me to wake up.'' I looked around and saw a body on the floor, white lab coat stained with blood and a hole in his chest. I looked back and saw my tail covered in blood and I realized I killed him. I frowned as a lance of pain shot through my mind. ''Feed us, we are hungry, join the fight'' Different smells in the air mixed, yet I somehow knew what they meant. I leapt to the roof and climbed into a vent, as the other way out was a steel door, and I realized i didn''t have the strength I had before. ''What happened? Was everything I did a dream?'' I crawled through the vents and then froze. A Xenomorph was inside the vents with me, and though in the dream I could content against the Queen, I doubted I could do that here. ''Come fight, food, need assistance'' I watched as it climbed over me and disappered into the darkness. ''What''s happening? Who am I? What is going on?!'' Chapter 1 Pushing myself out of the ventilation systems, I dropped to the floor and looked around quickly. I stuck my proboscis out and tasted the air, and smelled different pheromones, I''d guessed that''s what they were, and followed the trail. Coming across a human in black body armor, he aimed at me and fired a short burst of his gun, which looked futuristic. I leapt aside, but one bullet found it''s way into my body and burned like hell. Hissing, I charged at him, slashing the light with my tail, making the hallway fall into darkness. "Damn aliens are getting smarter, this bastard took out the light." I heard him muttering to himself in the darkness while looking around alertly. "Silly thing, I can still see with my night vision headset, it''ll only be a matter of time before -ahhhh" His voice turned into a scream as another Xenomorph crept up behind him and impaled him on it''s tail. It hissed at me and then dragged the body away, probably to consume... I followed the scent, and didn''t run into any more humans, only their bodies littered the floor, some in pieces. I followed the tug and came out into a chamber with a Xenomorph that stood twenty feet tall and commanded respect. ''Child, why are you here?'' I looked up and saw the Xenomorph with it''s head tilted while looking down at me. ''I felt the pull, so I came, is there anything I can do?'' I asked, for some reason wanting to be of use to it. ''They branded you, evolve some more and then you can be of use.'' Then my mind blanked. When I could see again, the twenty foot tall Xenomorph was gone, and the area deserted, no human or Xenomorph alike. ''How do I evolve? What do I do?'' I looked up and saw a hole in the ceiling, about twenty feet wide at the largest part, and I realized that probably how it left. I heard a hiss and a Xenomorph trotted out of the darkness and clicked a few times. Then I felt something pushing into my mind and then I heard it. ''Come, food, grow'' I looked as it nodded it''s head and walked off into the darkness. Though the base, or whatever we were in had sunken into darkness, I could still see as clear as day. We continued for about five minutes before coming to a stop, inside were a variety of scents that belonged to Xenomorphs, somehow I just knew. I watched as it strode inside and pushed a smaller Xenomorph aside. Then I saw what they were doing and nearly fled in fright. It was an all out melee, and bladed tails were flying around, severing body parts as they repeatedly clashed. I then saw a smaller Xenomorph advancing towards me and I took a step back. Feeling emboldened, it lunged at me and I acted on pure reflex and stabbed my tail out, I watched as it fell to the floor, burning a hole beneath it with the blood that seeped out of it''s head. My tail swung around and whipped another Xenomorph, yet it didn''t die, though it did lose focus for a second, then the others pounced on it and tore it apart. Then they started to circle me slowly, as I watched them alertly, wishing I was back in the simulation. Then one of them leapt at me, claws extended as it tried to grab me and pierce me through with it''s tail. I leapt back, tail slashing out at another Xenomorph, yet it blocked with a lazy flick of its tail, then it crawled to the side and watched us. I shivered at it''s gaze, then felt a burst of agony as a tail drew itself along my head. I hissed and through myself forward, stabbing down on the offender with my claws. Blood splashed my face as I raked the Xenomorph''s face with my claws until it stopped moving. Shaking slightly, I looked up, only to see the other Xenomorphs slink away or bow their head. Then I felt a burst of agony and then I slept. Chapter 2 I walked behind it, following it through the vents and into a clearing, still within the base, and probably where they kept their vehicles seeing as their were still some left. Coming to a stop, I watched as some Xenomorphs battled each other, acidic blood spraying when they landed a hit on each other. ''Fight, go, fight.'' I looked at the bloody melee thatnwere taking place and hesitantly stepped into the circle. Then I saw a Xenomorph, smaller than the others in the circle, but bigger than me charge at me, tail swiping. I blocked it''s tail with my own, then I raked my claws against his head, only for him to slam me away. I rolled to my feet, tail flicking out and stopping him from advancing without losing a limb. Leaping at him, I stabbed down it my tail, to which he grabbed my tail, and slammed me into the floor. My brain shook as a tail shot towards me head. Then I hissed, pushed through the pain and stabbed my tail out, piercing into it''s body just beneath it''s neck. I watched as it fell over, acidic blood seeping into and through the floor. I climbed to my feet, and looked around and watched as the other Xenomorphs were locked in combat. Running to the nearest duo, I slammed my tail into ones back, and shot my inner jaw through another ones head. They both toppled to the floor, and I realized the area I was in had a kind of scent that was unique. I retracted my inner jaw and rushed to another group. After making short work of the groups, I saw the last two disengage each other and focused on me. I fainted at the one the left, making it flinch, then I leapt to the right and swung my claw, slashing at the side of the Xenomorph. I watched as it hissed in pain and shot it''s inner jaw through my arm, near my severing my hand. I growled and latched onto its head and slammed it into the floor, once, twice, three times, until a bloody body remained. The other Xenomorph retreated out of the circle, then they all started glowing in my direction. [Host has become a Queen, Commencing Evolution.] ''So I still have my system?'' I fell asleep at that point. ... When I woke, the first thing I did was check my status. [Species: Xenomorph | Evolution Seqeunce : Queen | Stage : Mythic] ''What''s mythic and explain what happened!'' [Host was captured by humans and they inserted your mind into a simulator, trying to study Xenomorph habits.] ''But I was a human before... I wasn''t human to begin with!?'' [You developed quickly and found a self consciousness exceedingly quickly, similar to the other humanoid races. You lived a false life.] ''What happened while I was asleep? Is it like the game where I evolve when I sleep?'' [Observation is correct, you are now the Queen of the Hive located on Epilson''s third moon. Humans will lay siege to you, it is important that host survive.] ''Who made you, you were with me in the game, and no here? I don''t believe I had you teice by pure luck.'' [The Queen Mother, the source of the Xenomorphs created me, she is far beyond your comprehension.] I rolled my eyes as walked forward, avoiding stepping on the sleeping Xenomorphs. ''How long until the humans lay siege?'' [The siege has begun, would you like to telepathically send messages? It is an option.] I nodded as I got a brief explanation of how to send telepathic messages. ''Focus on ambushes, and only attack at night!'' I felt a shift, like a series of voices and then they all quieted down when I spoke. Chapter 3 I looked to the south, or maybe it was some other direction when an explosion appeared. I watched a ship dropped out of the sky and landed a few thousand meters away. ''I can still see as if I''m looking through a telescope, guess this is the perks of being a.. wait, what are the stages?'' [Stages are E-S, Mythic stage, Calamity stage, Dominator stage, and Extinction stage. In the game, you were told of a Main System, this is a completely new world, built by the Main System, known as the Main Omniverse, the you who existed in the game has already died to the Queen Xenomorph''s hands.] ''Why was I brought to the main omniverse?'' I asked while looking at the Xenomorphs who peskily attacked the human invaders. [Your growth potential exceeded that of any known world outside that of the Main Omniverse, it was decided to shift you into the higher dimensional world instead.] ''So, not only did you guys not ask my opinion, you killed me, and then made me wage a war against humans?'' [Correct, it is recommended you hatch more Xenomorphs to increase your army, the only way to get back is to reach the Extinction Stage, and tearing apart the Dimensional Wall and leaving this dimension.] ''Did my mother agree to this?'' I asked while hoping she''d swoop in and save the day. [We obscured your location of the soul, you are lost, in her eyes.] ''So if I win this game or whatever, I can go back?'' [That''s correct.] The system said in an even tone. ''Xenomorphs, swarm them, don''t let one escape.'' I commanded and felt the Xenomorphs enter a frenzy as they tore the humans apart. I saw the ship start to take off and shook my head. ''Bring down that ship.'' I watched as some Xenomorphs jumped onto the ships and started slashing apart the ship, metal and pieces of wire fell from the ship. A Xenomorph seemed to hit something vital as the ship spiralled down and collided with the ground. ''They''re dead, all dead, we did it!'' I blanked hearing the Xenomorphs talk amongst themselves. [Every thing in the Main Omniverse has a soul, from the smallest of insects to the biggest of beings, they all have intelligence that surpasses what you consider the average human.] ''Why? So you can''t even kill anything to eat without killing someone?'' I asked lightly. [The Main Omniverse is a cruel place, your mother called it the Beyond, because its beyond all known conventions and speculation.] ''Xenomorphs come back to the Hive, I need to address you all.'' I heard the link between us shut down and then it looked like an endless wave of darkness as the Xenomorphs arrived in pairs of twos and threes. ''I am your new Queen, and I won''t bullshit you, we might all die, but if we don''t, we will all die!'' They shifted uncomfortably, then one spoke up, in a low tone. ''What do you suggest we do your highness?'' ''Simple, do you see that ship?'' I pointed a tail at the ship inside the hangar that was relatively untouched. ''Yes, we see it.'' I nodded and then said something that made the crowd go wild. ''Who can pilot it?'' I asked, and they instantly started chatting amongst themselves. Finally, a small Xenomorph was pushed forward, probably smaller than seven feet tall and looked quite small next to my twenty feet in height. ''I can fly it, but where do you want to go?'' ''To the planet, there''s a lot of humans, yes? We simply need to get to them. Chapter 4 I watched as it flipped a switch and the ship powered on. ''Whenever you''re ready, we can launch at any time.'' ''Launch.'' I looked as the ship started to hover, and the Xenomorphs within started hissing, feeling caged. The ship rose to a few hundred feet in height, then shot towards the sky, engines roaring as it resisted the gravitational pull of the moon. Soon we were in space, soaring past asteroids and space junk. [En route to Epilson 3 has been charted, have a wonderful flight.] A voice rang over the intercom, but I chuckled as the Xenomorphs all looked at the speaker with hostility. ''Relax, it''s just a machine...'' I trailed off as a ship tried to flag us down, but the little Xenomorph who piloted the ship swerved between two cruisers, giant was ships that made the one we were on look small. "This is Epilson Defense Alpha Team, why is a ship from Epilson 3''s Moon going planetside?" We all just had a moment of silence before the little xeno turned the thrusters all the way up. Shooting forward, we passed the crusier who had turned to us and started pursuing. "This is Epilson Alpha Unit, we have an unidentified scout ship heading planetside, we request permission to engage." I hissed in fury, as getting shot out of the sky wasn''t something on my bucket list. ''This is Epilson Planetside Control, you have permission to fire." The cruiser banked to the side and a beam of plasma charged up in their main cannon. ''Will the ship hold out?'' I asked the little xeno, only for her to shake her head quickly. ''Then dive!'' I flicked the joystick with my tail and the ship plummeted down. "They are approaching the planet, and we haven''t verified them, all ships target the intruder." The outside of the ship started to burn as we entered the atmosphere. Then the clouds parted and I saw a city standing tall, even from our height. "This is Planetside Control, we have an unregistered aircraft landing within the city, dispatch armed forces to clean them up." I watched as the little Xenomorph started hitting random buttons, at least random to me as the ship slowed down and started to descend. Then I saw helicopters, if you could even call them that approaching us. They looked like jets, save for the helicopter blades they had on the top. "Come out quietly, and we will take you into custody, resist and you will not be dealt with leniently." I shrugged and opened the airlock, feeling a cool breeze blow across my skin. ''Let''s go, this world isn''t going to change itself...'' I leapt from the ship and landed softly in a densely wooded area. I heard branches break and Xenomorphs rained from the sky. They landed, some better than others, then I gestured for them to move. And they were gone within a few seconds, searching for prey. [You have successfully made it to Epilson 3, you have gained the shop function.] I looked at the screen and sighed. ''You call it a shop function, and it only sells one thing?!'' I asked while running through the woods. Following the scent of numerous Xenomorphs. I strode to a stop besides a hole in the ground, then I climbed into it and was instantly delighted. ''This is big enough to form another Hive, I just need to produce eggs and let them hatch.'' I grinned as I hunkered down and started to buy eggs from the shop. ''Seems my balance from the Secondary Omniverse carried over...'' Chapter 5 "Ms. Vespi, is my class boring you?" A woman with wavy black hair asked while walking over to a teen with bright orange hair. "No Ms. Rogers, I was just daydreaming." Sara answered while shaking her head. "Well, it doesn''t matter, my class finishes in a minute, you all may get ready to leave, but you stay behind Ms. Sara." "Ha, dreamer girl''s got detention!" The whole class roared with laughter while Sara''s face flushed red. "Quiet or you all will be joining her." Ms. Rogers said while shaking her head slightly. When the class filed outside, Ms. Rogers walked over and sat down on the desk, bringing with her a sweet and calming smell. "So why were you half asleep in my class? Did you go to sleep late?" She asked while tying her hair up in a ponytail. "No, I um, was watching the news about the ship that crashed into Founder''s Park." She said while blinking rapidly. "Oh, yes a tragedy, we all saw the news, but why are you looking into it?" Ms. Rogers asked lightly while picking up a book and placing it beneath the desk. "Well, a string of disappearances happened with the Founder''s Park as the center, I believe whoever crashed the ship is alive and taking people." She said, then she remembered she was talking to a teacher and blushed. "Oh, is that right? Don''t let little delusions mess with your head, just focus on school." Sara nodded and Then grabbed her backpack. "I won''t give you detention this time, but the next time I catch you sleeping in my class, you''ll be sorry." She finished with a smile and allowed Sara to leave. When she walked through the door, her smile faded and she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Brother, are you certain the occupants of the ship that crashed are dead?" She asked while grabbing her stuff. "No, but there was no bodies found, or any trace if DNA that suggested it was occupied, we have nothing to go on." A voice came over the phone. "Then what about the disappearances in the area?" She walked out the door and looked it behind her. "We''re swamped already without the disappearances, now with the whole crash incident, we can spare anymore manpower to search the area..." "I see, I''ll meet you at the station then, I may have to look through some things." "No problem, do as you please." An immediate reply came over the phone. "Okay, I''ll meet you there then. She hung up and walked to get car. ... Sara got home late, but not before the sky was completely dark, so she decided to take her time. When she reached the flat she called home, she swiped her wrist over a glowing panel in the wall and the gate slid open. She walked inside, turning on the lights as she went, then looked at her tv which was on mute at the moment. Flicking her hand, the mute switched off. "We are now being told that this is the latest string of disappearances to date, young Kery Hertz disappeared today, and the police are to be actually investigate their disappearances, if you see or know something, report it to the police, we implore you." Behind them, a couple held each other as they cried. Chapter 6 She muted the tv and plopped down on her couch. "Why did I have to tell her about my secret hobby!? Ahhhh, I''m so stupid!" She scratched her hair into a mess and rolled on the couch. "What should I do now? If she tells the class tomorrow, they''ll look at me like I''m a geek!" She got up and strode to the mirror and looked at herself. Bright orange hair, and warm brown eyes that drew one in, however she radiated a stay away from her aura which made people hesitant to get close to her. ''Maybe if I cut my hair a bit and cover my face with it, then people will talk to me.'' She looked down at her wrist watch and swiped, causing a screen to float in the air. "My growth potential, I hopes it''s at least B Stage." She scrolled down on the sheet and then froze. [Potential Growth Value : S, Congratulations, we sent a team to pick you up, they''ll arrive shortly to escort you.] Her eyes widened in disbelief as she checked the message again. Seeing that she read it right the first time, she collapsed on the sofa with a silly smile on her face. ... Then minutes later, her doorbell rang and she ran to the door. "Yes, coming!" She opened the door and was greeted with a blast of wind. A helicopter sat silently on her lawn, it''s blades causing the wind to blow away. "Miss Sara right!" The man asked, yelling over the helicopter''s engine. "Yes, that''s me!" She said and they grabbed her bags. "Come with us." They directed her towards the helicopter, which silently took of in to the sky when they climbed aboard. The helicopter fkew with minimal noise, making her marvel at the creator if such an aircraft. "We''re Jack, Rose, and Ash respectively." Jack introduced himself and the other two people who sat besides her. Ash gave her a lopsided grin, his gray hair blowing from the vents air conditioning, and Rose just nodded, her attention directed at a tablet in her hand. "Where are we headed?" Sara asked while looking out of the window. "The crash site to drop us off, then you''re heading to Xiren''s base on this world. Any other questions?" "What happened at the crash site, I thought there wasn''t anything on interest there?" Rose switched the tablet off, and looked up. "We might have a big situation on our hands, not that it concerns you, so you''ll be fine." Ash explained while pulling a pistol out from a case and loading it with energy cartridges. "Expecting a fight?" Jack asked while pulling out his own case. "No, but better to be ready and not need it, then to need it and not be ready." They all nodded in consent as they loaded their pistols. Chapter 7 I watched as the Xenomorphs entered the cavern, they crawled in from the cracks in the walls and made their way to me and dropped the humans they caught on the floor. I leaned over them and smelled them before reclining back and looking at the eggs I got. Their were only a few points left, and I wasn''t interested in laying any eggs, so I used the last of my points on the eggs. ''We found the human city, we haven''t taken any humans from the city though, but we kept covering our tracks, so the humans still don''t know we''re here.'' ''Keep collecting more humans, and what are the numbers of the entire Hive?'' I asked while tilting my head. ''A little under a thousand strong, and half of those are hungry, when can we feed?'' He asked angrily, which made me look at him again. I gave a dull look and then stabbed down at him with my tail. ''You think I don''t know you wish me dead? If you continue with your actions, you''ll die horribly.'' I looked at the Xenomorph I forced out of the ring when we we''re on the moon. ''Your majesty, surely it''s a mistake, I implore that you look around.'' I looked up and saw Xenomorphs crawling out of the cracks as they looked at me. ''I see you were busy...'' I looked at the Praetorian Xenomorphs that looked uneasy around me as the drones and carriers pushed forward. ''My queen, we won''t kill you, as the hive cannot function without a queen, but we will imprison you here for a while. I beg your majesty''s forgiveness.'' ''I see, stand down Praetorians, I''ll resolve this myself.'' I rose to my full height and shook my shoulders and ran. I charged towards them, knocking half of them out the way before I slowed down. Then my tail whipped around and severed them in two. ''Wait, wait, how are you this strong!'' I picked him up by the throat and dodged his inner jaws as they shot out. ''I was always strong, just because I do nothing doesn''t mean I''m weak...'' I held him in front of my body, tail poised over his chest. ''You could make this entire planet our hive, instead you just sit around and do nothing but watch your eggs!'' He shouted, then with a crack, I broke his neck. I dropped his body and returned to my seat, reclining against the wall with the eggs in sight. ''You who betrayed me, get lost from this Hive, and if you were return, you will die.'' I waved a hand and dismissed them, then sank into a light sleep amidst the clicking and hissing of my Praetorians. ''The Queen is as magnificent as ever, look at her shining beauty!'' I rolled my eyes mentally and cursed the Praetorian that said that. I looked as the humans they brought woke up, then they startwd screaming so a few Praetorians knocked them out. They dragged them next to the eggs and left then there. Chapter 8 Sara writhed in her seat when the three people got out and looked around. "Take her back to the base, they want her safe and sound." The helicopter blades whirred and took of into the air. ... Ten minutes later, the helicopter landed on a heli-pad and the doors opened up. A woman in a business suit gestured for her to step out. As she did so, the cool night air made her shiver as she made her way inside the building. The building had nearly fifty stories tall, a beautiful structure of glass and metal. It resembled a needle that seemed about to pierce the heavens from the earth. She took a deep breath and entered the building, knowing it was the headquarters of a massive multi-billionaire Corporation. "Welcome to Chimera Corporation, where we seek to advance and improve our understanding of life, and the way we live." A voice sounded from the invisible speakers placed along the way. "I''m Lexi, the CEO of the Chimera Corporation, it''s nice to meet you." A voice resounded across the hall and a woman who looked to be in her late thirties appeared, a smile adorning her immaculate face. "It''s nice to meet you, I''m Sara." She nearly whispered, feeling crushed by the Lexi''s aura. "I know who you are, I invited you here to discuss your future, as you know, many corporations keep strong individuals on standby, to safe guard and protect their world from threats like aliens and other extraterrestrial species." She directed them to a room where a desk sat, immaculately white and clean. "Anywhos, we suspected alien involvement with the crash of the Scout class ship, however none of the video and audio feed from the day of the crash are missing. Most likely an attempt to throw us off their trail." She trailed off her eyes twinkling as she flicked a screen in front of Sara''s eyes. "We believe the disappearances that are taking place belong to whoever survived the crash, and we sent special ops, yet they came back with nothing. Now we deployed our own team, called Epilson 3, same as the moon, and we got a hit." She saw a picture of a creature on the screen, skeletal and black, and then she stood up in horror! "Y-you think it''s a Xenomorph invasion?" She backed away from the picture while shivering. "Yes, we have confirmed that the DNA samples belong to a Xenomorph drone, and if there''s one, there''s more. We want you to train to combat this threat, as well as increase your stage to S. We''ll sponser you, unlimited funding, weapons, and teachers, you name it." She looked at the Xenomorph on screen and then closed her eyes. Opening them again, they blazed with revenge. "That''s right, your parents were killed in the accident on Epilson 3, we''d like to formally apologize for their loss, they were brilliant people." Sara nodded blankly. "I''ll join you, I want to kill them myself, not just mourn them, I want them to know that the galaxy is a safer place than they left it." She nodded and was about to shrink the screen down when a video feed popped up. "Video feed from Jack, accept?" A synthetic voice rang out. "Accept it." As soon as she saw that, she saw approximately five hundred Xenomorphs running from the inside of a cave system to the outside. They ran and snarled as they headed in a certain direction... towards the city... Chapter 9 A couple walked down the street towards the city, while laughing to themselves. Behind them, the darkness surged and then a horrible figure shot out of the darkness and poised it''s tail to strike at the humans. A beam of light tore through the air and penetrated the Xenomorphs body, however it just staggered and kept running towards the humans. The humans needed no one to prompt them, they started running as soon as they saw the beam of light. "Attention all citizens, this is not a drill, Xenomorphs have made it planetside, please stay wherever you are without going outside and wait for this crisis to pass." "Run baby!" He pulled her to the side as a bladed tail slashed the air apart where she stood. A couple hisses escaped the Xenomorphs mouth as it toppled to the floor, head shattered by a beam of light. They ran behind a building and took deep breaths while they shook. "Why are Xenomorphs attacking, why don''t they just stay on Xenomorph Prime, their homeworld?" "They probably get tired of fighting the Yautja race." He said replying to his girlfriend when a drop of rain hit him. ''Shit, if it starts pouring, we won''t be able to see them and then we can''t fight back.'' "Honey, we need to go inside now." He looked to the side, feeling the resistance of pulling her get lighter. Looking around, he saw his girlfriend stabbed through the chest by a Xenomorph that clung to the walls above them. "Ahhhhhhhhh!" He looked down and realized he was holding her hand, and that was severed by the wrist. Then a blade flashed in the dark and darkness consumed him. ... "The city is in lockdown, no one in or out until the threat is neutralized! I don''t care who they are, they need to stay inside, if they get captured we''ll have more Xenomorphs than we started with!" Lexi spoke rapidly on her wrist watch, and looked at the red dots that flickered on and off as the rain started to pour. "Yes, I know that we can''t activate the defense system, that''ll be locking us in a cage with them. But what is their we can use? The planetary defense weapons are all massive and will annihilate the city as well." "I don''t care, bring a squadron of fighter mechas and assist us!" She shouted out the last word and then turned off the wrist watch. She looked up, and found that Sara was staring at her in horror. "What? Am I that scary?" She asked walking forward. "B-behind you!" She ran and tackled her to the ground, a second later, a bladed tail swept through the air and shattered the glass. A Xenomorph forced it''s way inside, jaws snapping as it smelled humans. Lexi froze, then pulled a gun out from beneath her desk and fired at the Xenomorph. Pulses of energy hit the creature, and if it were anything but a Xenomorph who was protected with an exoskeleton, it''d turn to ash. The Xenomorph slammed it''s head down, shattering the desk into fragments of glass. Then it locked on to Sara. "Sara, it can tell your special, run! I can''t hold it off long!" She started firing which drew it''s attention, and gestured for Sara to run, but Sara shook her head. "What do you mean no? You''ll die for nothing!" Lexi went flying as the Xenomorph flicked its tail at her, however she blocked with the gun, but the residual force swept her away. "I''m done running!" Sara grabbed a shard of glass from the floor and ran at the Xenomorph and stabbed it at it''s unprotected stomach. Chapter 10 Support the story, even if it''s a little, it''ll go a long ways. ? this is probably the last one today ? Sara jerked her hands back as the shard of glass melted down into goo. She backpedaled and ran and dropkicked the Xenomorph. Unable to contend with the sudden impact, it staggered back, slipped on the glass it broke and fell out the hole in the wall. Both Sara and Lexi. "...." "Let''s go!" Lexi said while grabbing Sara''s hand and dragging her along. She flicked her gun and an energy cartridge popped up, then she slipped another one in and opened the door. A Xenomorph ran by the door, however it didn''t stop as it had a target, who happened to be regretting life as it lunged at him. A shrill scream echoed down the halls as Lexi opened the door and fired a charged up burst at it''s head. The head exploded like a watermelon that was smashed with a hammer. Pieces of brain fragment and Xenomorph exoskeleton flew everywhere. They pushed open the door and stepped out and saw a badly mangled body on the floor. "We need to reach the heli-pad, and get out of the city now! They''ve decided to use a thermonuclear warhead to end this!" Lexi said while Sara froze. "No, you can''t, a lot of innocent people will die!" Sara took a step back. "Fine, I''ll call it off, but if we can''t find a solution for this within an hour, I will blow this place to kingdom come!" "Thank you!" She turned around and opened a door, only to find an empty room and weapons inside. "This is a air rifle, it fires a compressed burst of air, it can put a hole in metal." She slid her pistol so back into it''s holster and they both disappeared. She handed one to Sara and took one herself. They both left the room after putting on some body armor. "Ding. Ash sent the location of the Queen to you, we got caught up fighting outside the city." Jack''s voice sounded out and they both froze. "The Queen? What happens of we kill the Queen?" Sara asked, finally seeing a way out of the shade she found herself in when Lexi froze and sighed. "We can''t kill it, it''s a mythic stage creature, conventional weapons and bombs have no effect on it." "So we need to go and stop it, if we give it enough trouble, it may call these drones back." "What part of it''s a Mythic stage creature do you not understand? We can''t stop it, and though it''s intelligent, it''s impossible to win!" Lexi pulled her hand away and said in a huff. "But what if we could take to them? My dad said some Xenomorphs showed exceptional intelligence, and besides, if we can''t fight it, we''ll end up dead anyway." "Why?" Then she looked at her wrist watch and saw the red blip that marked the Queen moving in a straight line, and the predicted course was the city! Along with the giant red marking, was a lot of smaller ones, each a cluster of Xenomorphs! "Damn, if we fail, know that I blame you for my death!" Lexi said and sat in a chair that was probably thrown out of an office somewhere. "I doubt we''ll fail, I have hope!" Sara said, however her eyes showed killing intent. "You mean you hope that it''ll attack so you can try to kill it?" Lexi sighed and put her chin in her hand. "I shouldn''t have listened to you, now I''m stuck here..." Sara gave a small smile and Lexi frowned. Readers choice Back to the Secondary Omniverse? Or stay in the current Omniverse? Chapter 11 I made my way out of the cavern I left the eggs in with the Praetorians to protect and defend in the event of an invasion. Moving quickly between the trees, I realized that they were a tad different from Earth''s trees. Each tree glowed with a soft glow that made the shadows look like they were creeping up on me. If I had been human, I''d have probably been scared out of my mind, but as things stood, I was what the parents told their children to run from. I came upon a wall, nothing that would keep me out, probably built to keep humans out. Leaping over the gate, I landed nimbly on the other side and looked around, the darkness illuminated in my eyes by the moons in the sky. Even without the moons light, I could still see in the dark as clear as day, as I found out in the caverns. ''Damn, I miss the Dark Ray, though it was overpowered, it was better than having nothing.'' I rose to my full height and climbed onto a building, made out of some metal I couldn''t identify, yet my claws cut through the material like butter. The building had a sharp incline, and was several stories tall, more glass than metal, all in all it was beautiful building. ''Hive, kill the rogue Xenomorphs!'' I let out a hiss, and was shocked. My orders were received by the Hive, and my hiss which had normally been a bit louder than the other Xenomorphs resounded across the city. I heard several screams and hisses as the Xenomorphs fought. ''I should have brought a Praetorian to help with the mess.'' In every street, Xenomorphs clashed and fought each other, claws and tail whipping out as some unfortunate humans were caught in the cross fire. The enemy Xenomorphs that were kicked out of the Hive smelled different, and I guess that''s how my Xenomorphs made the distinction between enemy and ally. I looked up and leapt to the roof, tail waving slowly behind me, prepared for anything. I climbed to the top of another building and kept running, after I lost contact with a Xenomorph who was in the midst of the city. A few minutes later, I felt another Xenomorph perish, and it filled me with rage. ''I only have so much more points, I can''t afford to lose any more Xenomorphs.'' I made up my mind and leapt down a four story building, and crushed an enemy Xenomorph beneath my massive frame. I stabbed out with my tail, once, twice, three times, and killed an enemy Xenomorph with each strike. ''Xenomorph Queens are strong, I should have evolved and then I would have been able to deal with a queen, instead I died and left them all behind, and what happened to the princess?'' Her little face, giddy with joy appeared in my mind and I hoped that she was alright. ''You filthy predators, I''ll kill you! Every last one of you!'' A roar resounded across the city, and it didn''t come from me. I looked as a large three story building crumbled inward and a tentacle shot out of the ruins and stretched to it''s full length. ''Damn, what the hell is that? It''s almost as big as me if not bigger!'' I watched in fascination as a body pulled itself out of the ruins and turned to glare at me. Or I assumed it was a glare, as it had eyes all over it''s body, and dark writhing tentacles that composed it''s body. ''He''s at the same level as me, if not higher, I can feel it in my bones.'' I leapt to the top of the building and ran straight in a beeline for the creature. He slammed out with his tentacles and shattered the exoskeleton of a few Xenomorphs who were battling in the area and then detached it''s tentacle when the acidic blood started to corrode it. I leapt from the highest building in the area, more than ten stories high, and landed on it''s head if that was his head, claws sinking in deep enough to draw blood. I stabbed out with my tail several times, each stab severing a tentacle, but it seemed to regrow them as fast as it lost them. It shook it''s body which in turn threw me off, and climbed out of the pit it found itself in, and roared at me. ''Damn predators, this is my world, leave at once!'' During his roar, the s yste, asked if I wanted to use the autotranslate function, and I agreed, so I heard what he said as he roared. I hissed back and conveyed a message to him. ''No, might makes right, if you can''t defeat me, I suggest you leave!'' The two of us, several tens of feet tall glared at each other. Then we both lunged at each other at the same time. A boom rang out as we collided together, shattering the windows in the vicinity and sending cars flying. Chapter 12 Sara grabbed a grey bag that lay on the floor, likely forgotten in the initial moments of the crisis and slung it over her shoulder. Lexi pushed open a door that Sara hadn''t even realized was there, and looked inside, rifle between her body and the unknown. Sara looked at Lexi questioningly, and received a short reply. "Stairwell, we need to take this up to the heli-pad, then we can go confront the Queen." She pushed against the door and started hurrying up the steps, yet she couldn''t tell what material they were made out of, however it seemed to be metal. "I understand you want to eradicate them, but you can''t, nothing reaches Xenomorph Prime and survives, that''s their home world, even if you increased yourself to Stage S, you''d be overwhelmed and killed by the sheer amount of Xenomorphs that roam the planet." "I don''t need to do anything, but something tells me they''re not just going to sit quietly and do nothing, if we can bring it down, we can get a Mythic stage core, and kill a Xenomorph queen, two birds on stone." "Are you retarded? Anything Mythic stage and higher has intelligence comparable to an adult human, it will not fall into any silly traps you could think off. It''s best to just launch and orbital bombardment and ensure they don''t get to reproduce anymore." Lexi said while putting her hand on a scanner and then the door slid open and the cool night air washed over them, carrying the faintest smell of smoke. The helicopter sat on the heli-pad, seemingly untouched, and the pilot lying on the ground besides it, a hole in his chest. "Damn, we need a pilot, and he''s clearly dead, any other brilliant plans?" Lexi asked, her words making Sara wince. "I can fly it, but we aren''t going to run, does this model have weapons on board?" Sara asked while climbing into the cockpit and stared flicking buttons. "It''s the latest 9th Generation Ghost, it had a minigun on board, but conventional weapons can''t and won''t stop a Mythic stage being, we should leave now that we have a chance to." Lexi said but Sara just shrugged. "If you wanted to leave, hail a ship from your corporation, I''m sure they be delighted to save you." Sara said shaking her head and flicking the engine on. A quiet whine sounded out as the blades started spinning. "You know what, do what you want, I tried to stop you, so when you end up dead, don''t blame me." Lexi huffed and walked off, dark golden hair trailing behind her. "Where are you going?" She asked over the whistling of the wind. "Home, I still have another ship I didn''t use, you can one with or stay here, but I''m leaving." Lexi turned and walked off when a shrill hiss pierced their ears. They both turned, faces pale to see a Xenomorph nearly twenty feet tall leap onto a higher building and then started running along the roof tops. Then a building exploded inward and a tentacle wormed it''s way out of the underground. "What is that?!" She looked at the long tentacle and turned to Lexi, however Lexi''s face went pale. "That''s a Revenant, an obscure race with few offspring, however they boast near immunity to damage, if this keeps up, the Queen might actually fall." She linked her wrist watch to a feed and zoomed in, just in time to see the Queen leap from a ten story building and slam into the Revenant. Black blood splattered as the Xenomorph was shaken off and landed nimbly like a cat, tail stabbing out faster than the eye could follow. Chapter 13 Support the story. ? Lexi nearly choked on her spit as the two monsters battled, turning the surroundings to rubble. The Revenant slammed it''s tentacles against the crown of the Queen(Queen Xenomorphs have three crowns on their head) and then a shrill hiss escaped the Queen as it shot out it''s inner jaw, punching a hole in the mass of tentacles. The Revenant screeched and tumbled away, falling on to it''s back, and the Xenomorph leapt on to it, claws tearing the tentacles away. The Revenant roared in fury and agony, as a big ball of acid landed on it''s chest. Leaping off it''s body, the Queen gave a shrill hiss and Xenomorphs started appearing behind her. After several hundred gathered, the Queen hissed and they leapt forward. "What is that gonna do, why is it sacrificing them?" Lexi asked to the sky, and then she got her answer. When the Revenant raised it''s tentacles to attack, the Queen lunged into it and bit the tentacles off with it''s inner jaw, then spat a ball of acid, making it scream in pain. The smaller Xenomorphs jumped onto the Revenant and began biting and tearing at it''s body. After a few minutes of intercepting the Revenant''s tentacles, it started to grow sluggish and lost the momentum it originally had. After another minutes, it collapsed, the Xenomorphs still tearing away at it''s body. Then the Queen gave a hiss and the Xenomorphs stopped and retreated. Walking over to the corpse, she bit into it, and searched around on it''s insides. Several moments later, she retracted her proboscis and within it''s mouth held a glimmering brown core, same color as the tentacles of the Revenant. The city regained it''s calm, though some buildings collapsed around the fighting zone of the two giants. The Xenomorph Queen stood upright and hissed at the sky, then slowly climbed out of the battle zone and lazily dropped herseld on a building, core disappearing into her mouth. Then a silent helicopter circled several hundred feet above, and a grey bag flew out and landed near the Xenomorph Queen. Inside the helicopter, Sara looked down at the resting Xenomorph and a hate filled expression crossed her face. "You are the reason my parents are dead, they were just researchers, yet one your kind broke out, you massacred everybody. I won''t forgive you!" She pulled a gun out from the back, as there were several pulse weapons inside that fired liquid plasma. "Now die!" She aimed at the grey bag, and then fired. Perhaps hearing the noise made, the Queen looked up, and saw a ray of light shot down towards it. Then there was a bang and the Xenomorph toppled to the floor. "Did I kill it?" She watched as the Queen rolled to her feet and look up, and hissed menacingly. ''I should''ve known that a block of nuclear material wouldnt have been enough. Rather I knew it wouldn''t be enough, yet I did it anyway.'' She slumped in her seat and piloted the helicopter to fly to the north. Chapter 14 I looked up as the helicopter rapidly withdrew, barely making a sound. Then I looked down and saw my underside scorched from the explosion. The surrounding buildings weren''t spared from the blast either, they lay shattered and broken on their sides, causing the streets clustered with debris. ''Your majesty, the remaining humans have all been killed or taken, what should we do now?'' A Xenomorph hopped through the debris and unlike a human didn''t have a problem with all the glass and dust in the air. ''Fall back, what of the rogue Xenomorphs?'' I asked while dusting the ash from my exoskeleton. ''They''ve all but perished, we lost a few in the fight between you and that thing, but they shouldn''t give any trouble to track down and kill.'' He lowered his head when I looked at him and then I simply gave him a command. ''Hunt and kill them, I don''t want another Queen appearing in our territory.'' I''d been killed by a queen before, and I didn''t want history to repeat itself. Then I felt a surge of energy in my stomach and I doubled over. ''Is something wrong your majesty?'' He climbed up towards me and put his hand on my side. I didn''t knock his hand away and allowed his hand to travel down my side. ''You ingested another core, I feel it within you, if you can make use of that core, reaching the Calamity stage wouldn''t be impossible.'' He grew visibly excited as he hissed in happiness. ''I''ll retire for now, clean up the city, hunt the stragglers, and then regroup at the Hive.'' I gave the commands and then made my way off the towering pile of rubble and back into the woods on the east side of the city. After a few minutes of running, I made it to the cavern and to my delight, the eggs hatched, and face huggers were wrapped around their victims. ''Guess I''ll get a few more drones after all, and maybe some carriers...'' I silently entered the room, the only noise coming from me was my claws scraping the floor. The Xenomorphs who saw me bowed, and those that didn''t continued to work on building a Hive. ... Sara climbed our of the Ghost, and nearly fell face first to the ground. "You are Sara Vespi right?" A man with a gun slung over his shoulder approached her and asked. ''Yes, and who are you?" She steadied herself on the side of the Ghost and asked. "We are from the Genesis Corporation, we want to recruit you into our work force, and the pay is nice as well. We have state of the art teachers who excel in bringing out the potential hidden within your body. You will be given free reign to do as you please as long as it doesnt conflict with the corporations interest, do you agree?" "I was going to join the Chimera Corporation as I just finished talking with their CEO..." She trailed off and the men''s faces turned ugly. "Whatever she offered, we''ll double it, and if that''s not enough, you can request anything from us." "Its not about money, and I already agreed, so you can go back. I''d have to leave if I decided to join you guys, and I dont want to leave my home world." The men sighed and thanked her for her time, and then she looked around and saw jets and ships sitting on a runway. "I randomly set a course and it took me to an airport, wait, how''d they find me so quickly?" She thought aloud, then a voice behind her made her jump. "Because you forgot to turn if the tracking function on your wristband. If you had, even I wouldn''t be able to find you so quickly. Now come, we have business to discuss and we need to get you some teachers as well." Lexi said as she walked towards her with two men in black body armor walking by her side, plasma rifles aimed at the ground. "Teachers? But I thought you were joking earlier, why do I need teachers? I can get along just fine." "Because you can hurt yourself, and lessen your potential growth, and we really need to leave. This world is lost, though i wish we could do something, we can''t. Xenomorph Prime has already sent an Empress and she''s due to areive within a day, so all life on this planet was determined to have been lost." "What about an evacuation? I know people and I can''t just leave them to die!" She stepped towards Lexi, causing her guards to raise their weapons, but she raised a hand and they lowered them. "A massive planet wide evacuation has been ordered, we did all we can!" Sara looked like she wanted to argue some more, but then she nodded and followed Lexi into a sleek white ship with a Chimera Corporation logo on the side. After boarding, the ship shot into the air, and disappeared amongst the dark clouds that mirrored everyone''s feelings. Chapter 15 Here ya go, hope I made it good enough. ? I jolted awake, body shaken slightly as a horrifying aura spread throughout the Hive. ''Come to me.'' A voice said, and the arrogance in the tone made me wrinkle my nose mentally with distaste. ''Judging from the aura, it should be strong, a lot stronger than me and the Xenomorphs in the Hive all went silent, something that even I couldn''t make them do.'' Stepping over the prostrated forms of the Warriors, Drones and Carriers, I made my way down out of the cavern, just in time to see a flaming ball of crash into the planet. What came out made my brain freeze for a second before I lowered my head, not because I wanted to, but because my instincts told me to bow or I''d be killed. ''Young one, why is the Hive divided, I can hear the murmurs and can roughly guess the situation, however if it went as I think it did, this Hive will need a new Queen.'' I shivered, and raised my head to look at her, to which her bladed tail appeared inches from my head, hovering in front of my face. ''Explain young one, or die. We cannot have weak Queens! Now tell me what happened.'' ''I won the duel and evolved into a Queen, yet one of the Xenomorphs tried to usurp me and lead the Hive, I chased them out and fought against them, killing nearly all the traitors.'' ''And why did you let him live as long as he did, it''s commonplace that the losers of the duel perish. What say you in your defense?'' She asked while looking down at me. I looked up, and this time she allowed me, and what I saw shocked me. She was well over twenty meters tall, with a bladed tail that cut down everything in the vicinity as it moved, and on her crest was four points. ''I made a mistake, it won''t happen again.'' I lowered my head and said. ''You''re right, it won''t. Because of it does, I''ll bring you back to Xenomorph Prime and leave you to live without a Hive until you die. You''re lucky I''m not killing you now, as the Xenomorphs are begging me not too.'' I let out a shaky breath and nodded. ''Good, now return, I have many things to do, should you encounter any problems you can''t handle, I''ll take care of them in your stead.'' I shook my head and mentally reinforced that I''d never let her help me, she was to damn scary! I gulped and climbed back into the Hive, thanking every Drone, Carrier, and Warrior I came across for telling her not to destroy me or exile me to Xenomorph Prime. ''Rest now everyone, tomorrow might bring a war to our doorsteps.'' I curled up in the corner and relaxed my tensed body. ''Yes your Majesty!'' They answered energetically, some shaking with excitement. ''Well, this is what I should expect from a war driven species...'' Chapter 16 The next day, I pulled myself to my feet and walked out of the cavern and looked up at the sky. ''If the humans were smart, they''d bombard us from low orbit, however there''s still humans here so they won''t be able to do it, they''d have to be exceedingly precise in where they aim.'' I didn''t even hear her, but I knew she was behind me, probably on top of the rock outcropping that hid the cavern we resided in. ''Oh? You seem dissatisfied with me, is something wrong?'' Her tail swisher back and forth, it''s length making it seem like it''s own entity, however I knew she could attack with extreme precision, as she had her tail in front of my face without me sensing anything. ''No, I''m fine, it''s all fine, we practically own the planet, what are we waiting for?'' I asked my head still bowed. ''For the war, war is what we thrive on after all.'' She said it like how one would state an obvious fact. ''But do we have enough Xenomorphs for a war? As far as I know, this could lead to the annihilation of my Hive!'' I said, refuting her. I imagined her to be raising an eyebrow as she looked down at me. ''Well, as you say, I won''t fight for control of your Hive, but if you fail, don''t come crying to me.'' I saw her inner jaw snap shut a couple times and realized she was laughing at me. ''I hold you to your word then.'' ... Location : Low Orbit of the Epilson Planet. "We have confirmed sighting of a Xenomorph touch down within the Northern Seaboard, we sent scout class ships to investigate when a bladed tail which stretched into the skies cut them down. The Xenomorph Hive is confirmed to be in the North, send a battleship to draw away the Empress, deploy ground troops to harass the Hive and draw out the Queen!" A man in soldier attire said while standing at attention. "Yes General!" Rows of soldiers, gear already equipped headed into the dropships besides them and strapped in. "I hope we prevail, they''re the ever encroaching darkness, and impossible to stomp out, maybe we should just give it our all and attack Xenomorph Prime..." The general murmured when an amused chuckle broke him out of his thoughts. "Someone''s saying silly things, who in the universe would willingly head to Xenomorph Prime and fight a war, for all we know it might not even exist as we never got confirmation on it." Lexi appeared by his side, dressed in all white as usual. "Let''s pray that we can end it before it becomes something bigger, and why did you let that recruit go? That doesn''t seem like you..." "Like it was my idea... She begged and begged until I said yes, but I have my men with her to keep her our of danger." "I see, still isn''t like you to heed anyone''s nagging, you must be plotting something..." "Who knows? Maybe I am?" Lexi gave a mysterious smile and walked away. Chapter 17 Leave a rate pretty please? I heard a thunderous roar and realized the war had begun. The Empress'' tail swept back and forth, extending out for hundreds of feet and destroyed a few oncoming aircraft. [Mission : Repel the forces of humanity, Rewards : The Princess is saved from the rampaging Queen in the secondary layer of the Omniverse. Failure : The Princess dies, you lose the the Hive, Empress Xenomorph takes you back to Xenomorph Prime.] ''Is there a way to get back to them?'' I asked the system, and I got an answer that surprised me. [You may leave after you reach the pinnacle of power in the 1st Layer of the Omniverse, that you reside in currently.] ''So simply put, I need to reach the Extinction Stage in order to go home?'' [Correct.] I looked up as another aircraft was slashed out of the sky, then bullets started raining down on the Empress, however she shrugged them off and followed a ship that veered to close to the ground. ''And off she goes, well time to prepare for war.'' I hissed and felt the Xenomorphs listen to my instruction. ... A soldier leapt out of the dropship and pointed his gun at everything that moved. His nerves were close to fraying as he didn''t want to be deployed, yet he was selected despite his obvious efforts to not get chosen. Then someone bumped into him and he fell over, then warm liquid landed on his face. He looked up, angry when he saw legs standing up, and every thing above gone. Shivering, he looked around and saw a bladed tail snaking over his head and back to it''s owner. ''Damn, the Empress is close! We need to fall back, or at least not fight against such a monster.'' He knelt on the ground and covered his face with his hands and wept. ... Sara ran through the woods like death were on her heels, and in a sense they were. Two Xenomorphs charged after her, bladed tail trying to stab her ever so often, however if a Xenomorph from the Hive smelled them, they''d immediately start to fight. These were the last of the Xenomorphs that rebelled, and when they came across her scent, they decided to hunt her. She had originally been with a squad charged with her protection, yet there were more Xenomorphs rather than the two, as they had been ambushed and she was separated from them. She tried to ditch the two Xenomorphs on her trail, yet it seemed to be an impossible endeavour. They kept following her trail like bloodhounds, and though she did manage to shoot one to death, the other two used that moment to knock the gun out of her hand, and all she had was a blade. But she knew that fighting close combat with a Xenomorph was a death sentence. She ran in a random direction, pushing through the bushes and low hanging branches, however though she didn''t have an easy time going through the bushes, neither did the Xenomorphs who were hot on her tail. Jumping through a bush, she slid and fell through a crack in the ground, and fell down ten feet to the ground, however because she had improved her body with the help of a few select teachers who knew how to bring forth the potential within the body, she didn''t break anything. "What? Where am I?" She looked up at the crack she fell through and realized it was to high up, and the Xenomorphs still tried to get her, trying to widen the hole. ''Guess I can''t leave now...'' She looked down at the winding path that disappeared into the darkness and shivered. Looking up, she saw a piece of rock fall and shatter on the ground, missing her by a few centimeters. ''Looks like I have no choice, it''s either certain death here, or take my chances and follow the path.'' She shook her head, put her knife out in front if her and inched into the darkness. Chapter 18 Sara continued into the darkness, feeling her way forward by running her hands along the rough stone wall. ''I''d be in deep shit if a Xenomorph decided to come down here...'' Shivering at the thought, she placed the knife in front of her once more and slowly edged her way forward. ''When can I get out of here?'' Such thoughts flitted through her head as she continued deeper into the cave system. After half an hour of walking, she used her wristband to illuminate the surroundings, and saw several tens of eggs, leathery brown and filled with veins. ''... Did I just wander into a Xenomorph nest?'' She shivered, however none of the eggs hatched immediately as she had been led to believe. ''Guess they don''t feel I''m suitable for them, well since I''m here, might as well!'' She gripped the knife and slashed the nearest egg, plasma blade flaring out to three feet in length. She slashed through the egg with little resistance, and then continued to slice through the eggs until one was left. Panting from exhaustion, she placed the sword on the edge of the egg and was about to press it inward when she heard the clicking of claws against stone. She looked around, she rolled the egg to the crack she came in from, then ran to a corner and waited for them to pass by. ''Ha, I''m ambushing the galaxy''s best ambush hunter...'' She smiled grimly and deactivated the plasma blade. The light she used to illuminate the room faded, and then she heard a loud hiss. Looking around the room, the Xenomorphs started panicking. Not noticible to a human, they sent a telepathic message to the Queen. Sara knew Xenomorphs could sense by using sound or something like that, she wished she had paid more attention in class. Then she heard a hiss, as if the air was being sucked out of the room, she heard Xenomorphs rushing to this area via their nails. She flipped her wrist and a display popped up, indicating where the Xenomorphs were at based on the sound. Then she heard a hiss, similar to the time when she was in Chimera Corporation''s headquarters. She froze as a twenty foot tall xenomorph looking around, then an enraged hiss resounded throughout the room. Sara shivered and then huddled in the darkness, waiting for the creature to leave. ... I looked at the ruined eggs and hissed loudly, and the Xenomorphs who were passively fighting started to aggressively attack and ambush the humans. ''What happened?'' I heard the Empress ask while the other Xenomorphs quieted down, leaving just me and the Empress on the telepathic link. ''Something destroyed seventy eggs, judging by the burns and remains, it was a human. I don''t have anymore eggs either, so we can''t reproduce.'' I explained, while taking a deep breath. ''Oh? Well seems like you got yourself from private time on Xenomorph Prime...'' She trailed off and I heard a small sound, not enough to be heard by a human, but enough to draw my attention. I walked into the room and stuck out my proboscis and tasted the air. ''It was a human.'' I confirmed, then I felt apocalyptic rage! ''Why did you have to do this? Now I have to go to a barren world overrun with Xenomorphs! Fuck!'' I followed the scent and then a curious scene met my gaze. A human female, standing with a blade next to an egg, and from the size of the egg, it should be a Praetorian Egg. "I know you can understand me, or rather my intentions, let me leave or I''ll destroy your last egg!" She yelled at me, and Xenomorphs rushed into the room upon hearing a foreign sound, yet I told them to be still as I glared at the human. "You think I don''t know you have intelligence comparable to me? Let me go, or you lose this egg!" My tail flicked side to side as I held back from impaling this wretched human. Not a chapter I''ll get back to writing this, but something important came up and I had little time to write! But Dragon Raja came out! Play it, it''s the best mmorpg at the moment, and it is beautiful. Well besides alchemiastory... Chapter 19 Sorry, I didn''t realize that I left you guys hanging, Ill post a notice next time, but before you read meh story, go play Dragon Raja! I stalked towards the human who held the egg out in front of her as if it were some kind of grotesque lucky charm.. I snorted and swiped my tail at her, intending to sever her head when she tossed the last egg in the path of my tail. Now I was stuck contemplating whether to continue and kill my last egg, or to continue and lose my last point. ''Fuck, I hate humans so much!'' I griped in agony as I slowed my tail until it was a hairsbreath from the egg. The wind from my tail pushed the human''s hair out of it''s face and looked at me with rage. I motioned for the other two Xenomorphs at my side to go kill her, then I carried the egg and ran through the caverns twisting and winding halls. The still night air hit the egg, and while I didn''t travel at full speed, it was like floating, as I soared through the air. I crossed a fifty foot chasm and landed on the other side, placing the egg down and plopping to the floor. Then the ceiling blew inwards and rocks, some the size of a finger nail and others twenty feet in diameter nearly crushed me beneath them. ''What the fuck!? Who just tried to kill me!?'' I hissed, somehow making even myself shudder at the rage contained within the hiss. Then I looked at my side and realized that the last egg didn''t survive the explosion, as rocks, like shrapnel pierced through it, making acidic goo melt the rocks beneath it. ''Okay, stay calm, relax, you can get through this, deep breaths, inhale, exhale, and, Nah fuck it, I''ll just go and kill the closest living thing to vent my anger, not, what if the Empress is out there? She could bring me to Xenomorph Prime and leave me there...'' ''Okay, first I need to escape, and secondly kill that meddling human, and third, get off this world.'' I climbed through the opening in the ceiling and looked at the super heated ground beneath my feet, yet I didn''t feel a thing. ''Judging from the burns and remains of whatever this place was, it was an orbital bombardment. If I got caught up in that, even with this body, I''d be miserable afterwards...'' ''I should leave now while I actually can before that damned Empress captures me.'' I broke in to a run, each step carrying me several meters and soon I''d vanished into the ruins that was left of the Reserve Park. After ten minutes, I felt a tug on my mind, and immediately accelerated when an enraged hiss resounded across the world. And though the planet Epilson was smaller than Earth, it still had an extremely large area as of uncharted land, and a hiss blew everything away. From where the Empress stood, for miles around, not a tree or rock was left, hell, even the ships in low orbit weren''t spared. Rising to her full height, she assumed command in the absenuce of a Queen and sent the Drone and Warrior Xenomorphs to locate the missing Queen''s scent. Something came up If everything goes according to plan, I should start back up next week, at the earliest... Sorry. :(
