《Transmigrating And Becoming A Dragonling, I Was Picked Up By An Elven Queen》 Chapter 1 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Jadeite City, the mysterious city hidden under the Golden Forest, was also the capital of the elves. It, which was usually extremely mysterious, seemed to contain exceptionally abundant life force at this moment. Under the night, the ancient central square of Jadeite City did not seem deserted. Instead, thousands of pious elves gathered in the square. They faced the center of the square in unison. A pool of spring water was emitting a dreamy light as if the surrounding night had nothing to do with it. This was the birthplace of all elves, the Elf Spring. To be able to make the elves, who usually did not like to gather, participate in such a huge event, it was none other than the Birth Ceremony of the elves once every ten years. They would welcome new members with the blessing of the Elf Spring! However, at this moment, all the elves looked a little worried, which was a little incongruous with this supposedly festive event. In front of the spring knelt three elves with two wings on their backs. As the three elders of the elves who were second only to the Queen, they naturally could not be absent from such an occasion. They could clearly see many shocking scars on the skin of the elf on the left. Of course, this still could not stop her beauty. In front of the three elders, an elf, also glowing like a spring, was praying with her eyes closed. Her smooth skin was like jade, like someone who had come out of a dream with a hint of unreal beauty. She was the supreme Elf Queen, Galadriel. At this moment, if one looked carefully, one could see seven faint lights above the spring. At this moment, they were emitting vitality that belonged to life. After a long time, Galadriel opened her eyes. Something flashed in her blue eyes, and the three elders behind her could not hide the anxiety on their faces. According to the current situation, only seven new members would be born to the elves during this Birth Ceremony. This number was two fewer than ten years ago. Although two fewer seemed harmless, this was already a very dangerous signal to the current elves. Three hundred and fifty years ago, the Abyss had suddenly descended. The actions of the dwarves had brought devastating disaster to this world. Death and chaos had corroded every corner of the Abyss that the Abyss reached. Those affected had either become the flesh and blood of monsters or fallen to become one of them. The elves who lived deep in the Golden Forest were deceived by the traitor. When the Abyss swallowed the Golden Forest, Galadriel only noticed it. She led the elves to counterattack and joined forces with other races. Finally, after three years of effort, she successfully sealed the Abyssal Passage that the dwarves had accidentally dug out. Although the elves were one of the stronger races in this world, they had lost half of their members to the Abyss. Moreover, this war also caused the Ancient Elven Tree to be eaten. The poison of the Abyssal monsters had been injected into the Ancient Elven Tree, causing irreparable serious damage. At that time, the elves had fallen into a desperate situation. The Ancient Elven Tree was an important medium for the elves to communicate with the Elven Goddess, and they could reproduce and develop so prosperously only with the guidance of the Elven Goddess. Fortunately, Galadriel stood up and finally brought the future to the elves. The Elf Spring came from the Ancient Elven Tree. Although Galadriel had severed its connection to the Elf Spring from the beginning of the erosion, a traitor had quietly stolen nearly half of the Elf Spring. This time, the ancient tree had been damaged and there was no way to heal it until now. Not only did it cause the communication between the elves and the Elven Goddess to often go unresponsive, but it was also completely unable to replenish the Elf Spring. This directly affected the reproduction of the elves. This was because, unlike other races, the birth of elves required the nurturing of the Elf Spring to bring new life to the elves every ten years. The Elf Spring, which could not be replenished, was deteriorating. In the past, more than three digits of elves were born every time, but now¡ According to the Prophet Great Elder, Vieruodis, if they could not find a way to heal the Ancient Elven Tree within a hundred years, the Ancient Elven Tree would completely wither. At that time, the Elf Spring would lose its effect. Although elves had long lives, without the addition of new life, extinction was only a matter of time. This was like an invisible boulder pressing down on the elves. ¡°The blessing of the Elven Goddess has arrived. I, the Elf Queen Galadriel, will welcome the new life of the elves with everyone!¡± As Galadriel¡¯s raised voice reached every corner of the square, all the elves perked up again. Galadriel came above the spring. When she raised her hand, seven balls of light came to her. At this moment, seven solemn-faced elves walked out of the elves at the back. They were the seven elves chosen by Galadriel. They would be responsible for nurturing the new lives that were about to be born. As Galadriel reached out and touched the first ball of light, it disappeared like snow. Then a pink baby appeared in her hand. At this moment, an elf envoy who had approached knelt respectfully and raised his hands. Galadriel pressed her lips to the baby¡¯s ear and sent a blessing. The future of the first elves was handed to the elf envoy beside her. Galadriel was about to touch the second orb when she stopped abruptly. Then her hands went to the third orb. Soon, the remaining balls of light finished opening the boxes one after another. Only the one at the beginning was still floating in the air, as if in a hurry. It actually took the initiative to float in front of Galadriel. The three elders behind him noticed this and could not help but look a little happy. ¡°Don¡¯t be anxious. It¡¯s almost your turn.¡± Galadriel¡¯s voice was gentle. Her fingers touched the ball of light, but it glowed a little brightly this time, like a moon that had been shrunk countless times. Then a small baby appeared in the light and hugged Galadriel¡¯s arm directly. Galadriel smiled at the crescent mark on the baby¡¯s forehead and breathed a sigh of relief. ¡°Thank you, benevolent Elven Goddess, for blessing us!¡± All the elves present stared intently at the baby Galadriel was holding high. Their eyes were filled with excitement and joy. According to the performance of the baby just now, she should be a relatively rare High Elf. Galadriel and the three elders were also in this group. High Elves had a natural bloodline advantage among the elves, and their individual abilities were relatively outstanding. They could basically be candidates for the position of elder or even Queen. No matter how hard ordinary elves cultivated, they could at most become elf envoys. ¡°I give this child the name Aurora.¡± The fact that Queen Galadriel had personally given it a name was enough to show how much she valued this High Elf. Naturally, she needed to find a new suitable caregiver. ¡°Undine, you¡¯ve been the one clearing the remaining darkness around the Golden Forest for hundreds of years. On behalf of the entire elves, I thank you and hope you can be her teacher.¡± ¡°I won¡¯t disappoint you!¡± The Enforcement Elder, Undine, got up and took Aurora. The baby was completely unafraid of the scars on her body. Instead, she leaned in kindly. The Birth Ceremony ended here, and the appearance of the High Elf heaved a sigh of relief in everyone. However, they did not know when the next crisis would appear. The elves dispersed one after another, but at this moment, Galadriel, who had already flown into the air, noticed that a dazzling light had appeared in the spring! ¡°Could there still be an unborn elf?¡± She immediately turned around and flew back. The elves who had not completely left had all returned. All the elves¡¯ hearts could not help but rise at this moment. This light was obviously not ordinary. If a second High Elf could be born¡ Galadriel came to the spring. The light from the spring was weaker now. She reached into the spring under the expectant gazes of all the elves. But when Galadriel touched the light in the spring, she couldn¡¯t help but frown. She actually lifted an egg out of the water! Chapter 2 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°How is that possible? An egg actually grew in the Elf Spring?¡± ¡°But I clearly saw the Queen take it out of the spring. What the hell is going on?¡± ¡°This egg looks so strange. I¡¯ve never seen an egg look like this.¡± The surrounding elves widened their eyes in surprise. The shock was no less than the betrayal of the elf, Lehr, 300 years ago, because such a situation had never happened before! It was not only the surrounding elves who were watching. At this moment, Galadriel looked at the golden egg in her hand with countless question marks in her heart. The egg was not big, only half the size of a human head, but the weight in her hand was a little extraordinary. The surface of the egg was filled with many neatly arranged fine scales. Every scale was very delicate to the touch, giving off the feeling of soft jade. Moreover, the entire egg emitted an undisguised golden light, as if it was showing the world how extraordinary it was. In the early years, when Galadriel was training outside, she had seen many species, but with her experience, she could not tell what creature this egg was! Moreover, it could be ruled out that someone had secretly let them in because the three elders who had just left were demigods, and Galadriel was one of the strongest demigods in the world. Moreover, she was known as the closest existence to a god. Let¡¯s not talk about whether they had the guts or not, but were they capable of doing this? Excluding that possibility completely, the rest of the answer puzzled Galadriel even more. As one of the oldest elves of the elves, she had never even seen the Elf Spring give birth to a new life in any other way, let alone an egg. If she hadn¡¯t seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn¡¯t have believed it even if her sister, Vieruodis, had told her, because it was really too ridiculous. But what was certain was that the creature inside was definitely not an elf, because there had never been such a thing as elves being born from eggs. Looking at the egg, Galadriel thought for a moment, then said to Undine, who had just arrived, ¡°Let everyone rest well. I¡¯ll deal with the egg.¡± ¡°Your Majesty, I suggest I handle this egg. If it happens again like last time¡¡± Undine stared solemnly at the egg in Galadriel¡¯s hand. A sharp spear had already appeared in her hand. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, I¡¯m sure there won¡¯t be a second elf like Lehr. If there¡¯s going to be a traitor, it¡¯ll definitely act during the Birth Ceremony, not now. My guess is that this might be arranged by the Elven Goddess. Besides, I don¡¯t sense any evil aura from this egg. Aurora has just been born. You have to work harder for a while. You can leave the work in your hands to the seventeen elf envoys.¡± ¡°I have no problem. Compared to those guys in the Abyss, a child is not so dangerous. But if you encounter any problems next, please inform me!¡± Knowing Undine¡¯s stubbornness, Galadriel nodded and flew to the tallest building in Jadeite City with the egg. Her words just now were not perfunctory. The arrival of this egg might really be related to the Elven Goddess. In the past, whenever the Elven Goddess was about to give guidance, something strange would happen to the elves. It was also a reminder. For example, before the next elder candidate, Elf Envoy Lehr, betrayed them, her residence had been covered in dark clouds. In the Goddess Hall. The entire hall was solemn from the inside out. At the front of the hall was a huge stone statue of the Elven Goddess. The engraver had carved it from Galadriel¡¯s memories. This was not only the elves¡¯ meeting hall but also the place where Galadriel communicated with the Elven Goddess. At this moment, Galadriel had changed her clothes. Her long hair flowed naturally, and she wore the Blessed Moon Ring given by the Elven Goddess in her dream a thousand years ago. She knelt incomparably reverently in front of the huge goddess statue, and the egg was placed by Galadriel on a raised platform beside her. Then Galadriel chanted an ancient incantation that echoed throughout the hall. The egg seemed to respond, and the scales on the eggshell moved quietly. After a long time, Galadriel finished chanting. At this moment, she actually floated in front of the Elven Goddess statue, but she still maintained her kneeling posture. ¡°Merciful Elven Goddess, I call upon you sincerely. If you have the intention to send down guidance¡¡± Galadriel¡¯s voice faded until all he could see was her lips moving as if she were talking to someone. The scene lasted for about half an hour before Galadriel slowly fell back to the ground. After opening her eyes, Galadriel couldn¡¯t wait to read the memories in her brain, but a moment later, there was disappointment in her eyes. Similar to many times before, this time the Elven Goddess left no message in her mind. Although Galadriel was used to this, it was not good for the elves. Because of the damage to the Ancient Elven Tree 300 years ago, the responses the elves received from the Elven Goddess became intermittent. Occasionally, there would even be situations where they did not receive a response. Without the guidance of the Elven Goddess, the elves had been a little powerless in the face of many disasters in recent years. If not for Galadriel and the other three elders, the elves would probably not have been able to defend their territory. While Galadriel was deep in thought about this, the egg trembled slightly. ¡°Where am I?¡± A very abrupt voice came from the endless darkness. The surrounding darkness seemed to be following the heartbeat of some creature, beating rhythmically. Chen Kun opened his eyes in a daze, but everything was dark. He subconsciously raised his hand to touch the light switch, but his hand did not respond. He thought it was because he had slept for too long, so he did not pay much attention. ¡°Is anyone there? Please turn on the lights for me.¡± He tried to call out, but his words fell like stones into the sea. There was no response. He did not know how long he had slept. In any case, he had been in this godforsaken place the moment he opened his eyes. He had wanted to see what was going on, but he realized that he could not move! ¡®Am I paralyzed?¡¯ He tried to raise his arm again, and then his heart skipped a beat. Why was there no reaction? Then he hurriedly tried his leg. There was also no response. In the end, he refused to give up and called out to the little brother. Oh no, the little brother was gone too! Forcing himself to calm down, Chen Kun might have some guesses about his current situation. Perhaps this place should be what many people used to call hell. After figuring out his current situation, if he guessed correctly, the Black and White Impermanences should come over to pick him up. However, as he thought about it, Chen Kun could not suppress his emotions. ¡°I hadn¡¯t even gotten a girlfriend. How could I die?¡± Chapter 3 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chen Kun wanted to light a cigarette and reflect on his slightly messed-up life. Speaking of which, he should be considered a good person because he had lost his footing and fell off a building to save a little girl. Logically speaking, this was considered a good deed, right? But why had he been sent to hell? At this moment, there was nothing but darkness. It was so quiet that Chen Kun could only hear his heart beating. Now he felt as if he was locked in a completely sealed space. Chen Kun panicked. Could he have been sent to some level of hell to be punished? ¡°Is there anyone? I want to know what crime I committed! At least let me die in peace!¡± There was still no response. In fact, he didn¡¯t hear any echo. It was like throwing a stone into the sea. To be honest, this feeling was the worst. It was as if he had nothing to do with the world at this moment and was isolated from anything. At that moment, Galadriel was pacing back and forth under the goddess statue. All she could think about was the future of the elves. Now that the Elven Goddess could not respond, they could only rely on themselves next. Although Galadriel already had the strength of a demigod, there was still an irreparable difference from a true god. She could not accurately guide the future of the elves like the Elven Goddess. Therefore, she did not know what to do with this egg. This feeling of difficulty made every step she took seem abnormally complicated. Suddenly, she stopped and looked out. An elf walked in quickly. Her face was anxious, and at the same time, her hands seemed to be holding something. ¡°Your Majesty, the last three Moonlight Grasses have withered!¡± Elf Envoy Morwenna opened her hands. Three completely lifeless Moonlight Grasses appeared in her palms. Their withered and decaying appearance was like the erosion of the Abyss hundreds of years ago. Galadriel¡¯s heart trembled at the sight. She reached out and took the Moonlight Grass. Then she held it gently with both hands. A warm light lit up in her palms, but the Moonlight Grass, which had long since dried up, gave no response at all. Beside her, Morwenna knelt down. ¡°Please punish me, Your Majesty. If not¡¡± Galadriel raised a hand to interrupt her, her words comforting. ¡°This has nothing to do with you. You¡¯ve worked hard. If you hadn¡¯t protected it with your heart, I¡¯m afraid the Moonlight Grass would have gone extinct two years ago.¡± ¡°So you don¡¯t have to take this to heart. But before you rest, I¡¯ll have to trouble you to inform Undine. I¡¯ll wait for her in the library.¡± ¡°Yes, I¡¯ll inform the Enforcement Elder immediately.¡± When Morwenna left, the worry on Galadriel¡¯s face intensified. Ever since the Ancient Elven Tree suffered irreversible damage, the plants in the Golden Forest had begun to die out at a very slow pace. Until now, including the Moonlight Grass, there were already 500 types of plants that went extinct in the Golden Forest. Although a few of the previously extinct plants were medicinal herbs that the elves needed, they could all be found in the forest as substitutes. However, the Moonlight Grass was different from the previous extinct plants. Its status should be the most important plant in the Golden Forest other than the Ancient Elven Tree. As the name suggested, the Moonlight Grass could condense Moon Dew by absorbing moonlight energy. This special condensation was no different from ordinary water to other species, but if elves consumed it, it could increase their magic power for a short period of time. This was also why the elves were unprecedentedly powerful before the erosion of the Abyss. Although the speed of reproduction could not compare to other races, at that time, there were hundreds of Great Magisters of the elves. They also had 70% of the Saint Magisters in the world, close to 50 people! Therefore, the Moonlight Grass was also a ¡°cheat¡± for the elves¡¯ cultivation. However, with the appearance of the Abyss, the number of elves¡¯ experts suffered a devastating blow. Coupled with the damage to the Ancient Elven Tree, the elves fell into a state of collapse from then on. For example, now, there were less than a hundred elves who could reach the Great Magister level in the entire elves. There were less than ten Saint Magisters left. Only five of them had survived the last Abyssal Battle. As Galadriel had said, they had made a lot of effort to protect the Moonlight Grass and other plants during this period, but it was as if they had been cursed by the forbidden magic, the Black Death Curse. The elves could not stop the gradual extinction of plants. Even Galadriel, who held some of the authority of the gods, could not replace the role of the Ancient Elven Tree in the Golden Forest. These scenes seemed to portend the future of the elves. Perhaps when the last plant in the Golden Forest completely withered, the elves would also welcome their end. ¡°We can¡¯t delay. At this rate, the Golden Forest will wither one day.¡± The most important barrier for the elves now was the Golden Forest Tree which had been nurtured for a thousand years. If it was also affected, the consequences¡ Placing the three withered Moonlight Grasses casually beside the egg, Galadriel turned and walked out of the hall, but she did not notice that the moment she left, the quiet egg suddenly trembled. A circle of very ancient runes appeared on its surface. At this moment, Chen Kun, who was in the egg, was already on the verge of collapse. The endless darkness and the feeling of having no limbs made him feel powerless for the first time. In this godforsaken place, there was no concept of time, let alone space. He felt like he was in the air or lying on the ground. The unreal feeling made him feel like he was dreaming, but after biting his tongue, he realized that it really hurt! ¡°I don¡¯t believe it. How can a living person suffocate to death?¡± Chen Kun made up his mind. He ignored everything and controlled the only body he could feel to twist crazily. ¡°One, two, one, two, one¡¡± After counting countless times, Chen Kun stopped, breathing heavily. He had reached the limit of his stamina now. Although he had tried his best, the commotion just now did not seem to be of any use. Other than being more tired, he did not feel anything else. For some reason, despite being an active person in his previous life, irresistible sleepiness swept through his body only after such a short while. ¡°Could it be that my stamina will decrease after death? Forget it, I¡¯ll sleep for a while¡¡± In the blink of an eye, Chen Kun fell asleep. At this moment, the runes on the surface of the egg that had been placed in the Goddess Hall slowly dissipated. Then the entire egg emitted a gentle light. After a moment, the light dimmed and then lit up again. It felt like human breathing. Chapter 4 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Arriving at the observation deck, the Prophet Great Elder, Vieruodis, chanted an ancient incantation. Every character spat out of her mouth, quickly transformed into a corporeal form with the enhancement of magic. More and more runes revolved around Vieruodis, and all the surrounding magic was attracted. The guard elves on the observation deck felt the rapid flow of magic, but none of their faces showed any expression, as if this was something they were used to. Magic power gathered and quickly condensed into a vortex above Vieruodis¡¯s head. Under the vortex, a black hole the size of a mung bean formed. Then, as the vortex circulated, the black hole became larger and larger until it was enough to completely devour Vieruodis! At this moment, Vieruodis also stopped chanting. In the next moment, a surging wave of magic power emitted from her body. The magic power flowed quickly like liquid at a glance, then directly wrapped around the vortex above. The vortex did not stop spinning because of this. Instead, it twisted quickly like struggling prey, but it was obvious that Vieruodis was stronger. The vortex was sent directly into the black hole below. Immediately after, a miserable scream came from inside! ¡°Roar!¡± After doing all this, Vieruodis sat on the ground and closed her eyes to focus for a moment. A phantom identical to her actually appeared above. The Spirit World was a spiritual plane that recorded all the unknown information about this world. Only demigods with strength could barely pry into its secrets. In the past, the elves did not need to take such a huge risk to enter the Spirit World at all. However, ever since they lost the guidance of the Elven Goddess, the future of the elves had become like a small boat in a storm. As the Prophet Great Elder, Vieruodis needed to pry into the future of the entire elves, even if it might cause her soul to completely stay in that world. As soon as her soul broke away, Vieruodis entered the Spirit World. She could not stay long, because other creatures in the Spirit World would soon sense the entry of someone from another world. A few minutes passed. Vieruodis¡¯s face was already a little pale. Even as a demigod, she would consume a lot of energy entering the Spirit World. In the next moment, she suddenly opened her eyes and chanted an incantation. The black hole above instantly closed! Vieruodis looked at the night sky where the black hole had disappeared in shock, her blue pupils filled with shock. In the Elf Library. ¡°I¡¯ve read countless books, including alchemy techniques studied by humans and dwarves. With the current conditions, there¡¯s no way to replant the Moonlight Grass. I¡¯ve tested it many times, but I¡¯ve failed without exception. The conditions for the growth of the Moonlight Grass looked ordinary in the past, but now that the Ancient Elven Tree is in such a state, there¡¯s no way to provide special sap that can support the survival of the Moonlight Grass. The same applies to other plants.¡± ¡°Therefore, nurturing a certain plant alone is unlikely to resolve the crisis. All of this still has to be done from the Ancient Elven Tree. I¡¯ve tried nurturing the Ancient Elven Tree before, but¡¡± Undine shook her head. The ferocious scar on her shoulder had fallen when she was cultivating the ancient tree sapling. At that moment, she understood that the secret of the Ancient Elven Tree was definitely not something that elves like her, who relied on the ancient tree to reproduce, could understand. Although this answer was expected, Galadriel could not help but feel a little disappointed. Undine suddenly said, ¡°However, if Her Majesty can advance to become a god, perhaps you can use my method to try cultivating the ancient tree again.¡± Galadriel shook her head at what Undine had suggested. ¡°Although I have some of the authority of a god, it was all given to me by the Elven Goddess. I know exactly how far apart I am from a god.¡± ¡°Your Majesty!¡± Their conversation was interrupted by Morwenna¡¯s anxious voice. She ran quickly from the direction of the library door and knelt in front of Galadriel. ¡°Morwenna, is this how you show your manners to Her Majesty?¡± Undine stepped forward solemnly and Morwenna looked at her in awe. ¡°Honorable Enforcement Elder, I didn¡¯t mean to offend Her Majesty. It¡¯s just that I was going to take the dead branches of the Moonlight Grass away when I found it reviving!¡± ¡°What?¡± Galadriel and Undine spoke at the same time. They looked at each other. Then Galadriel stepped forward and asked, ¡°What¡¯s going on? Could it be Slyph?¡± She knew that the Great Elder was now communicating with the Spirit World, so she naturally could not take time to touch the withered Moonlight Grass. That left Slyph. ¡°But¡ I went in a few minutes after you left, and at that time, the Administrative Elder was coordinating some internally appointed matters.¡± Morwenna looked puzzled now. She had thought Galadriel had done something, but it seemed obvious that Galadriel was also unaware. ¡°I understand. Let¡¯s go over and see what¡¯s going on.¡± Morwenna responded, then turned and walked quickly to the door. Galadriel and Undine hurried after her. Soon, the three of them arrived at the Goddess Hall. The moment Morwenna opened the door, Galadriel and Undine felt a very vigorous life force. The two of them instantly disappeared, and in the next moment, they appeared in the middle of the hall at the same time. ¡°How is that possible?¡± Undine had seen with her own eyes the last three withered Moonlight Grasses taken out of the nutrient magic liquid by Morwenna. However, in front of her, there were no less than thirty energetic new Moonlight Grasses growing around the golden egg! Moreover, dense vegetation grew on the platform where the golden egg was placed and on the surrounding white jade stone ground. Some plants that had been confirmed to be extinct could even be seen hidden inside! Galadriel immediately locked her gaze on the golden egg. It was still breathing rhythmically as before. The only difference was that the light it emitted was richer. Overall, it looked a little larger than before. ¡°It¡¯s this egg.¡± As Galadriel spoke, Undine and Morwenna, who were not far away, also turned their gazes to the golden egg. Galadriel stepped forward and gently placed her delicate hand on the golden egg. She could feel that the majestic life force she had felt when she entered earlier came from this egg. ¡°I wonder where this egg came from. It can actually revive completely dead plants. Could it be related to the Ancient Elven Tree?¡± Hearing Undine¡¯s question, Galadriel was also interested. If that were the case, one of the future crises of the elves might be resolved! ¡°Where did all this fresh Moonlight Grass come from?¡± Just as Galadriel was about to find out, Vieruodis¡¯s weak voice sounded. She stopped what she was doing and looked over. Vieruodis was coming from afar. ¡°It¡¯s been hard on you. How¡¯s it going there?¡± Vieruodis came to Undine¡¯s side and nodded at Galadriel. She glanced at the golden egg on the platform in surprise, then took a deep breath. ¡°I obtained two spiritual prophecies from the Spirit World this time, but they¡¯re a little extreme. One good and one bad.¡± Chapter 5 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Vieruodis¡¯s words pulled the two of them back to reality. Although they were happy, the crisis of the elves had yet to be resolved. Morwenna had already quietly retreated. She knew that there was some news that she could not listen to casually. ¡°Let¡¯s start with the bad news, Sister.¡± There was no one else here, so Galadriel naturally didn¡¯t have to be so reserved when addressing Vieruodis. ¡°In the next few years, the elves will face the calamity of extinction. I don¡¯t know where the calamity comes from. I entered the Spirit World in a hurry this time. I didn¡¯t have time to sense much detailed information, but it should be related to the Abyss.¡± Although it was expected, Galadriel could not help but feel her heart tighten. For a few years, the elves did not seem to be able to change anything. If it was really as she said, this calamity came from the Abyss, with the current strength of the elves¡ With all kinds of worries attached, Galadriel took a deep breath and continued to ask, ¡°What¡¯s the good news?¡± ¡°According to the spiritual prophecy, there is only one hope of surviving this calamity. However, I have no way of knowing what this hope refers to. This is very strange. I haven¡¯t obtained an accurate spiritual prophecy for either matter,¡± Vieruodis replied after thinking for a while. The information she obtained after entering the Spirit World this time was indeed different from before. At the very least, the information she obtained in the past was clear, but now, it was as if she was talking in riddles. Vieruodis could not figure it out at all. However, Galadriel and Undine, who had heard the second spiritual prophecy, were stunned at the same time. They looked at each other. They had obviously thought of the same thing. The silent pair¡¯s gazes stopped on the golden egg on the platform. Vieruodis noticed their reaction and was a little anxious. ¡°Do you not believe me? I¡¯m telling the truth. The elves can be said to be in crisis and opportunity this time. We have to hurry up and find out what the elves¡¯ hopes are!¡± ¡°No, no, no.¡± Galadriel snapped out of her silence. ¡°I know you wouldn¡¯t joke about such a thing. It¡¯s just that after hearing what you said, this thought suddenly came to me.¡± Following Galadriel¡¯s finger, Vieruodis looked at the glowing golden egg in confusion. Undine immediately went forward and explained, ¡°You should know that there were only three Moonlight Grass left a long time ago. Today, Morwenna realized that the remaining Moonlight Grass had all withered¡¡± After listening to Undine, Vieruodis¡¯s pale face was filled with surprise. She could not figure out why an egg had the ability to surpass the four demigods of the elves! Previously, in order to nurture the extinct plants, Queen Galadriel joined forces with the three elders to use revival magic. However, the effect was not satisfactory. The revived plants only survived for a few minutes before withering again. Although the Abyss had long been repelled, the terrifying darkness had left irreparable damage to the Golden Forest. But now, just an egg had easily done this. If someone hadn¡¯t explained it to her, Vieruodis would probably have thought that this was a god who had been born on the continent! ¡°Is this egg the hope of the elves?¡± Vieruodis murmured. ¡°We¡¯re not completely sure about this yet.¡± Galadriel stepped forward and gently stroked the soft, delicate eggshell. She could feel the magic dancing in it. ¡°The Elven Goddess hasn¡¯t given any response, and there¡¯s no evidence at the moment that this egg is the hope that the spiritual prophecy indicated. We have to be really sure before we plan anything.¡± Beside him, Vieruodis and Undine nodded at the same time. The future of the elves was at stake. The secret of the egg had to be cleared up first, but Undine seemed to have thought of something. She stepped forward and spoke. ¡°Your Majesty, I suggest not revealing this to the public for the time being. Although the elves are all loyal warriors at the moment, we have to guard against something similar to Lehr. At the very least, we have to keep it absolutely confidential until we figure out the secret of this egg!¡± Galadriel heard this and thought for a moment before saying, ¡°You¡¯re right. If this egg does concern our future, if the news leaks, what happens next will be very troublesome. I¡¯ll leave this to you. Other than the three of us, the only one who knows about this is Morwenna, who just left. Go and seal her memories for the time being.¡± ¡°I set up a Level 8 sealing spell when she left. Anyone who comes into contact with her will be magically marked. I¡¯ll activate it now.¡± An array formed by countless complicated incantations appeared in front of Undine. As she chanted, Morwenna, who had arrived at her friend¡¯s residence and was about to say what she had seen and heard, was stunned at the door. As the Enforcement Elder, Undine would prepare in advance for any possible crisis. It could be said that her credit for keeping the elves stable and safe from foreign invasions could not be ignored. Of course, Elf Envoy Lehr was the only stain in her life. ¡°You¡¯re still so reassuring.¡± Galadriel turned her gaze to the golden egg. ¡°Next is how to deal with this egg. I don¡¯t think we can get guidance through the Elven Goddess for the time being since the goddess hasn¡¯t responded this time. Therefore, before Vieruodis recovers and enters the Spirit World again, this egg will be taken in turns by me and the three elders. I¡¯ll explain the situation to Slyph myself.¡± The two of them nodded at the same time, and then Undine walked over. ¡°Your Majesty, you¡¯ve just communicated with the goddess. The Great Elder suffered a lot because he entered the Spirit World. Slyph should have a lot of things to do. Why don¡¯t you leave this egg to me?¡± ¡°That¡¯s not a problem, but don¡¯t use it for any experiments. If anything goes wrong¡¡± Galadriel reminded Undine as she knew this was a crazed alchemist. She had basically thrown everything in the Golden Forest into her crucible. ¡°Queen, don¡¯t worry. Although I like to study it, I know how important this egg is to the elves. Until I determine the origin and use of this egg, I will never do anything.¡± Undine promised. She was not one of those young impudent elves. At this moment, Galadriel picked up the egg with relief and handed it to Undine. ¡°Be careful. The egg is not light.¡± Despite Galadriel¡¯s reminder, Undine still frowned at the weight of the egg when she took it. There was nothing heavier than this egg among alchemy materials of the same size. Then, Undine bowed to Galadriel and left with the egg. Galadriel also helped Vieruodis leave the Goddess Hall. Chapter 6 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Late at night, there were occasionally sleepless elves singing in the forest. No one noticed the wind that suddenly swept past them. Undine stopped on a large tree surrounded by ten people. Then she chanted softly. The trunk beside her immediately unfolded, and a step appeared. Entering along the steps, Undine came to a spacious room. Her identity meant that she should live in the Jadeite City, but because of some special fetish, she had transformed the big tree into her residence. ¡°Let me see where I can put you.¡± Undine searched the room and finally set her sights on a huge cupboard. It was a birthday gift from the Dwarf King once. Although she did not like it much, the dwarf¡¯s forging skills were not for show. Opening the cupboard, Undine feels the sealing magic contained in it. It is said that this can only be opened from the outside. The objects stored in it can never leave, but she has never confirmed the truth of this matter. After placing the egg inside, Undine closed the cupboard. Feeling that the egg was still emitting magic, Undine could not help but complain, ¡°This dwarf thing is not that good. It can¡¯t even restrain the magic of an egg.¡± Undine went to the bedroom and took off her gorgeous clothes. Then she changed into pajamas. She had many crisscrossing scars, some from battle, some from her alchemy hobby. Undine turned around and went to the next room. As soon as she opened the door, she saw nothing but grayness. Immediately, she was greeted by a very complicated magic power. If she accidentally inhaled this mixed magic power, it would be very troublesome. Although it won¡¯t cause any trouble for Undine, a blue magic membrane appears on the surface of her body. Then she enters the room, and at the same time, a large blue hand made of magic appears behind her, pulling back the escaping magic. When Undine entered the room, the gray feeling disappeared. As far as the eye could see, there were countless test tubes and sealed jars containing various magic items and materials. Undine walked to the far end. A table was painted with complicated magic arrays. In the middle was a jar that flickered with red light. Beside him, a notebook was filled with dense data and experiment records. This was the result of two hundred years of alchemy research by Undine. Her goal was naturally the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, the greatest masterpiece of alchemy in the Dolan Continent! ¡°Let me see how far I¡¯ve refined today.¡± Undine picks up her notes. The array on the table begins to glow. However, refining was not as simple as eating and drinking. It usually took more than a few hours, let alone the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. While Undine was engrossed in refining, five days had passed in the outside world. ¡°It¡¯s finally done. There are three more refinements to go. According to the book, it should be considered¡¡± Undine stopped talking to herself and walked quickly to the door. The circle on the table behind her spun rapidly, and the Philosopher¡¯s Blood that had been placed in the center of the circle disappeared. ¡°Your Majesty, are you here to see the egg?¡± ¡°I just heard that you haven¡¯t been out for the past two days. I was afraid you were doing some alchemy research again. After all, you almost blew up the Jadeite City last time.¡± Galadriel¡¯s teasing made Undine look embarrassed. Then she stepped aside to make way for Galadriel. After entering the room, Galadriel ran straight to her alchemy room. Undine hurriedly followed her. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, I won¡¯t secretly do any dangerous research now. Moreover, I¡¯ve set up a magic barrier around my residence. Nothing will go wrong.¡± Galadriel stopped at the door. When she opened it, she didn¡¯t go in. She just looked at it from afar and turned to say, ¡°Be careful when you study it. If anything happens to you, it will be a huge loss to the elves. By the way, where¡¯s the egg?¡± ¡°I stored the egg in the cupboard the Dwarf King gave me. Undine hurried to the cupboard with Galadriel. The egg was lying quietly inside. Then Galadriel opened the cupboard while taking out a few wilted Roland Flowers in her left hand and placing them beside the egg. ¡°Are the Roland Flowers extinct too?¡± ¡°Yes. The last five Roland Flowers withered after the elf in charge went out for a round, but the thirty or so Moonlight Grasses from before were growing well, so I brought the Roland Flowers over. I hope they worked.¡± The two of them moved away a little, but more than ten minutes passed. There was no sign of the Roland Flowers recovering. This was about the same time as the last time Morwenna had come to inform them. ¡°Looks like what happened that day was just a coincidence.¡± Undine couldn¡¯t help but speak. Galadriel didn¡¯t deny it. She picked up the withered Roland Flower and turned to walk out. ¡°It¡¯s okay. This was expected. Just continue your research. I have something to discuss with Slyph.¡± After sending Galadriel off, Undine ate a simple meal and went back into the alchemy room. Although it seemed that her research had been discovered, according to the Queen¡¯s attitude, she could continue her research. Another five to six days passed. Undine, who was obsessed with refining, seemed to have been forgotten by the outside world. No elves discussed her whereabouts because, with Undine¡¯s position, it was already common for her to run around. At this moment, a strong wave of magic power suddenly spread out from the quiet room. When the magic power touched the magic barrier around the room, the two actually had a violent impact! ¡°It finally worked!¡± The door opened. Undine¡¯s pajamas had been washed away by magic, and there were more scars on her body. However, her eyes were bloodshot at this moment, but she looked excited. The bottle in her hand contained a drop of ¡°blood¡± that seemed to have a life of its own. That¡¯s right. After a few days of sleepless nights, she had finally refined the Philosopher¡¯s Blood! There was no time to change. Undine opened the bottle. She had made a preliminary estimate of the power of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. With her body, she could withstand any accident. But as she was about to drink the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, she suddenly noticed the egg move in the cupboard not far away. At the same time, she felt the desire from the egg. It made her heart tremble. Was this egg interested in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood? Her mind raced. At this moment, Undine had a bold idea. Then she quickly went to the cupboard and opened it. At this moment, a drop of fresh Philosopher¡¯s Blood was floating in front of her. Under her control, the Philosopher¡¯s Blood slowly dripped onto the eggshell. Under Undine¡¯s expectant gaze, the Philosopher¡¯s Blood directly fused into the eggshell. At this moment, the magic power in her entire body was mobilized, and a magic vortex formed around her. If anything happened, she had to stop it immediately! In the next moment, countless ancient runes that even she could not understand appeared on the surface of the golden egg. Every rune contained power that made her heart palpitate. Soon, these runes actually formed a pattern similar to a creature! The sudden flickering was like a creature¡¯s breathing. Undine¡¯s eyes widened in shock. She had thought of any possibility, but she had never expected such a scene! At this moment, Undine¡¯s pupils constricted. She felt the aura emitted by the golden egg and instinctively chose to retreat. However, the aura pounced on her. A moment later, she froze in place. Undine¡¯s wounds actually began to heal quickly, and she sensed that her magic power had become much richer. As a demigod, it was very difficult for Undine to increase her strength. Now, in just a moment, her total magic power had increased by about 10%?! This was the result of her cultivation for the past hundred years! Chapter 7 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios The second drop of Philosopher¡¯s Blood appeared above the golden egg and fused into the eggshell like before. The golden egg emitted a brighter light, and the ancient runes on it were more obvious. At the same time, Undine was hit by the same aura as before. Undine closed her eyes in enjoyment. She could not help but breathe longer. This time, she felt the magic in her body boil! Because of the intrusion of the aura, the magic in her body flowed happily through her body. Much of the remaining filth in her body had been cleaned up. After a few minutes, the boiling magic in Undine¡¯s body finally calmed down. She carefully sensed the change in her strength. The shock in her heart deepened again. It was not an illusion! The magic power in her body was even stronger than before! At this moment, Undine could not suppress her excitement. She did not even notice that her clothes had completely dissolved because of the increase in magic power in her body! ¡°So this egg can trigger the effect of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood and prevent the recipient from being affected by the side effects?¡± Undine thought. She would have liked to use two more drops, but it still hurt to see the Philosopher¡¯s Blood in the bottle decrease in volume. One had to know that she had studied the Philosopher¡¯s Blood for more than a hundred years before obtaining it. She was the only one who knew how difficult it was. Moreover, the materials were very difficult to collect. It was probably impossible to collect all the materials in ten years. ¡°But overall, it¡¯s not a loss. Two drops directly saved me 200 years. When I collect enough materials in the future, perhaps I can come up with a way to replace the Moonlight Grass!¡± Looking at the remaining Philosopher¡¯s Blood in her hand, Undine suddenly realized something. She had just absorbed the aura of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood through the golden egg. Not only had her physical exhaustion from the past few days been swept away, but even her injuries had healed. If that was the case¡ Increasing one¡¯s strength was important, after all, the current number of elves was really worrying. However, the most important thing now should be to restore the Ancient Elven Tree! Although she was not sure if the effect of the golden egg would affect the Ancient Elven Tree, Undine had done many rescue measures over the centuries, but they had all failed without exception. The opportunity was right in front of her. She could give it a try! If it could be as effective as healing her body, the great crisis of the elves would be resolved. At the thought of this, Undine immediately picked up the egg. She felt the weight of the egg increase significantly. Then, without bothering to change her clothes, she opened the door and quickly headed for the Ancient Elven Tree! In the center of the Golden Forest, an ancient tree almost twenty meters in diameter stood in the middle of the lake. Most of its branches were already dry and black as if its life had come to an end. The remaining part was also on its last breath. From afar, it looked like an old man on the verge of death. If one looked carefully, one could see many almost transparent magic arrays around the Ancient Elven Tree. This was both to maintain the life of the ancient tree and to prevent outsiders from harming it again. However, at this moment, a yellowed branch of the ancient tree was turning black at a visible speed. This scene seemed to have become the norm, but the elves who happened to be patrolling nearby could not help but feel sad when they saw this. ¡°Don¡¯t look. The Queen and the others will find a way. Didn¡¯t the Moonlight Grass go extinct previously? Then the Queen took out another thirty. I think the ancient tree will be treated soon.¡± ¡°I know that too, but is there really hope?¡± The elves left one after another. In the next second, Undine appeared above the ancient tree, but she still did not realize that she was naked. Putting the golden egg beside the ancient tree that was a little black, Undine generously poured out a large drop of Philosopher¡¯s Blood. When the Philosopher¡¯s Blood fused into the golden egg, even though Undine had experienced this scene before, she could not help but feel a little nervous and worried. If she still failed this time, she really did not know what to do. Perhaps because too many drops of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood landed, many blood-colored patterns appeared on the golden egg. A moment later, the golden egg actually trembled. The scales on it seemed to have a life of their own, and more ancient runes followed! This scene looked a little strange. A spatial array had already appeared in Undine¡¯s hand. If anything happened, she would immediately isolate the golden egg from the alternate space. The golden egg expanded a little, which made Undine¡¯s heart clench. Soon, the blood-colored patterns on the egg disappeared, and the scales stuck to the eggshell again. At this moment, there were more runes on the eggshell, which Undine still could not understand. ¡°Knock, knock!¡± Undine vaguely heard the heartbeat of a certain creature. Then, her gaze was fixed on the golden egg. This time, the golden egg emitted another strange aura, but this time, the aura was a little cool. The silent ancient tree absorbed all the aura emitted by the golden egg like a sponge. When Undine felt this scene, her eyes were filled with excitement. Her expectant eyes kept sizing up the ancient tree. However, other than the golden egg flickering rhythmically, the aura it had spread previously was like a stone sinking into the sea. The ancient tree did not respond at all. Undine, who did not give up, waited for more than ten minutes. At this moment, she acutely sensed that the ancient tree¡¯s originally weak life aura suddenly fluctuated! She immediately spread her magic power to cover the ancient tree. Soon, she realized that there was actually life power fluctuating on the top of the ancient tree! The pleasantly surprised Undine immediately flew to the tree. A small green sprout actually grew at the tip of a withered branch! Although this bit of green was inconspicuous compared to the entire ancient tree, this was the first time in 350 years that the ancient tree had shown signs of recovery. It was difficult not to be excited. Moreover, this meant that her method had worked! Moreover, in Undine¡¯s perception, the entire ancient tree no longer gave off a sickly feeling like before. After a hundred years of rot and decay, she could vaguely feel the vigorous power of new life. Although it was also very weak, this was already the best news! In the Jadeite City, Slyph was arranging a forest patrol for the next month when she suddenly looked up in the direction of the Ancient Elven Tree. Vieruodis, who was recovering from the observation deck, interrupted the magic circle. As she stood up, the door opened and Galadriel walked in. ¡°Did you feel it too?¡± Vieruodis nodded. ¡°It¡¯s the location of the Ancient Elven Tree, but this life force doesn¡¯t seem to belong to the Ancient Elven Tree.¡± Chapter 8 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°I don¡¯t feel any negative magic power surrounding this life force, but for safety¡¯s sake, let¡¯s go over and see what¡¯s going on.¡± With that, a pair of wings grew out of Galadriel¡¯s back. She flapped them lightly and flew in the direction of the Ancient Elven Tree. Beside her, Vieruodis flew into the air. Before moving, she shot a ball of magic at the position of the Jadeite City to her left. Slyph was about to go to Galadriel and explain the situation when she noticed the magic bomb flying in the sky. She flew quickly into the air and grabbed it to pieces. The magic entered her body like filaments. A moment later, she also flew quickly in the direction of the Ancient Elven Tree. At this moment, Undine, who was immersed in joy, did not notice that Galadriel and the others¡¯ auras were approaching quickly. All she could think about now was to help the Ancient Elven Tree recover further. But just as she was about to drip the Philosopher¡¯s Blood again, her expression suddenly changed. The Philosopher¡¯s Blood was thinned back into the bottle, and at the same time, a magic shield appeared in front of her. Crack! Undine¡¯s Level 8 Magical Elf Holy Shield was mercilessly cut open by a wind blade, followed by a stern shout, ¡°Undine, what are you doing?!¡± Undine, who had subconsciously dodged, was covered in a layer of armor. However, when she looked up, she noticed the arrival of Galadriel and the others. She wanted to go forward and explain, but countless Elven Holy Spears appeared around her. In an instant, she was locked down! Galadriel landed beside the Ancient Elven Tree and came to Undine with an angry expression. ¡°Didn¡¯t I tell you not to do any strange research on the ancient tree? The ancient tree is on its last breath now. If anything happens, the elves will be doomed!¡± ¡°As an Enforcement Elder who knowingly committed a crime, Undine, I think your competence in this position needs to be discussed.¡± Vieruodis came to Undine¡¯s side. She casually added another shackle, completely sealing Undine. ¡°Your Majesty, I swear in the name of the Elven Goddess. I¡¯m not messing around this time. I¡¯m really saving the Ancient Elven Tree. If you don¡¯t believe me, you can sense it!¡± Undine didn¡¯t need to tell her that Galadriel had to check on the condition of the Ancient Elven Tree. She noticed the egg placed beside the ancient tree, but she was in no mood to ask why the egg was in this place. However, when Galadriel¡¯s magic power went deep into the Ancient Elven Tree, her eyes were instantly filled with shock. She was very clear about what was going on inside the Ancient Elven Tree. Although it could still survive on the outside, it had long been completely corrupted on the inside. It had always relied on constant magic instillation to barely survive. However, at this moment, she felt a vigorous vitality from within the Ancient Elven Tree, like a new tree that had just taken root and developed! Beside her, Vieruodis saw Galadriel¡¯s expression and immediately checked the condition of the Ancient Elven Tree. She looked at Undine in disbelief. ¡°How did you do it?¡± The Elven Holy Spears that surrounded Undine instantly disappeared. Undine turned to the ancient tree and picked up the golden egg. Then she came to Galadriel. ¡°It¡¯s like this. I¡¯ve been studying the Philosopher¡¯s Blood.¡± ¡°I successfully researched it today. I wanted to find a chance to use it, but the golden egg seemed to be interested in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, so I tried to drip a drop. As a result, the golden egg seemed to come alive. Not only did it absorb the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, but it also emitted a strange aura.¡± ¡°After being hit by the aura, my strength increased. After that, I thought of relying on the characteristics of the golden egg to heal the Ancient Elven Tree. I admit that I took a gamble, but even if the healing failed, I can guarantee that I won¡¯t cause this damage to the ancient tree. However, the result is that the golden egg can really heal the Ancient Elven Tree by digesting the Philosopher¡¯s Blood!¡± Undine explained this matter excitedly, but Galadriel and Vieruodis were shocked because this was a little ridiculous. Although they also knew the power of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, the pure Ancient Elven Tree would never accept the complicated magic power contained in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. Slyph, who was late, only heard what Undine said. She was the first to question it when she landed on the ground. ¡°I understand your achievements in alchemy, but it¡¯s impossible to use alchemy products to heal the Ancient Elven Tree, right?¡± Seeing that no one in front of her believed her, Undine knew that she had to prove this. ¡°Your Majesty, I know your doubts are reasonable, but I can guarantee that what I say is not fake. If you don¡¯t believe me, I¡¯ll prove it to you!¡± Undine carried the golden egg to the ancient tree. After finding a place to place it, she immediately took out the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. This scene immediately made the three people beside her nervous. As mentioned just now, the magic power contained in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was too complicated. If this thing was contaminated by the Ancient Elven Tree, the entire tree would probably wither in an instant. She controlled the Philosopher¡¯s Blood and dripped it onto the surface of the golden egg. Other than her, no one present could understand this operation. A moment later, a strange aura emitted by the golden egg instantly entered the bodies of Galadriel and the others! The aura spread so quickly that no one could react. Immediately, Galadriel looked at Undine in shock and turned her gaze to the egg on the ground. She could clearly feel the magic power that had accumulated in her body like stagnant water. When the aura entered her body, it was like a meteorite falling from a calm lake! The rapid surge of magic power caused vortexes of varying sizes to appear around Galadriel and the other two elders. A few minutes later, the vortex dissipated, and Galadriel let out a long sigh. She could clearly feel that her magic power, which had long been fixed, had improved at this moment! This was a level that would take hundreds of years for her to reach. The other two elders were also filled with shock. Because their strength was slightly inferior, their perception of increase in strength was even more obvious. ¡°This is unbelievable. This egg can actually directly grant us more magic power?¡± Slyph immediately thought of the Moonlight Grass in the past. However, at that time, the Moonlight Grass was only effective on elves below the Saint Magister Realm. However, the aura released by this golden egg benefited even the demigods! At this moment, the few of them cast their gazes into the air at the same time. There, a new sprout was emerging from under the withered tree trunk! Galadriel¡¯s voice trembled as she watched. ¡°The¡ the Ancient Elven Tree is really healing?¡± Chapter 9 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Not only Galadriel, but even the usually calm Vieruodis could not suppress the excitement in her heart. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect the hope displayed by spirit prophecy to appear so quickly. The Elven Goddess did not abandon us!¡± Slyph, who could not suppress her joy, flew into the air and sized up the bit of green under the withered tree trunk as if admiring the beautiful scenery. Overjoyed, everyone immediately thought of the magical golden egg. Although they did not know the origin of the golden egg or what creature it was, it had directly resolved the problem that had troubled them for hundreds of years. To put it bluntly, its current status was already comparable to or even superior to the three remaining holy relics of the elves. The few of them also understood that after today, the elves would definitely have a fourth holy relic! However, although she was happy, Galadriel still had some questions to clarify. Therefore, she came to Undine and asked gently, ¡°Can you tell me the details of the entire matter? How did you discover that the golden egg has such a strange ability?¡± The other two elders also landed at this moment. Their gazes were all on the red liquid in Undine¡¯s hand. With their strength, they could clearly feel the terrifying energy contained in it. They could even feel the pressure of a god. There was naturally no need to explain much about the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. The entire elves knew that Undine was obsessed with alchemy research, and the history books of the elves had once recorded how terrifying the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was. It was said that the Philosopher¡¯s Blood contained the power of the gods. The person who used it could obtain the power of the gods from it. The first to refine the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was a human alchemist, but he underestimated the power of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood and tried to take control of the gods. When he used the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, the land within a five-hundred-kilometer radius of him instantly disappeared. Some said that he had already obtained the power of the gods. Others said that this was his punishment for trying to pry into the gods. But no matter which one it was, the power contained in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was unquestionable. Undine did not hide anything and said directly, ¡°I¡¯ve been working on the final refinement of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood for the past few days. After succeeding, I originally planned to try it myself, but the power contained in it is making my heart palpitate.¡± ¡°Coincidentally, I noticed that the golden egg reacted when I took out the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, so I gave it a try. I didn¡¯t expect the golden egg to not only perfectly absorb the power of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, but the strange aura it released also helped me heal my body and increase my strength. Then I thought that if the golden egg could increase its strength to heal its wounds by absorbing the aura released by the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, it might also be useful to the Ancient Elven Tree. Then I secretly brought it over. Fortunately, the result was good.¡± ¡°Only alchemists like you can be so bold.¡± Slyph complained. If anything went wrong in any of this, Undine would be guilty forever. However, Undine did not care much. She knew that alchemy research was risky to begin with. If she could not take the risk, she would not refine the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. ¡°In other words, after the golden egg absorbs the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, the aura it feeds back will have a strong healing function, right?¡± Vieruodis gave a simple summary. Then she looked at Galadriel. ¡°Your Majesty, although Undine was a little rash this time, judging from the outcome, she has brought hope to the elves. Next, we can let her make up for her mistakes and extract more Philosopher¡¯s Blood to help the Ancient Elven Tree recover.¡± Hearing Vieruodis¡¯s words, Undine was speechless. ¡°Great Elder, the Philosopher¡¯s Blood is not so easy to refine. Even if I collect the materials without stopping, it will take at least a few years!¡± ¡°Don¡¯t worry about that. I¡¯ll send someone to help you find the materials. You don¡¯t have to worry about time. You just have to study it seriously from now on. When the time comes, I¡¯ll try my best to contact the Elven Goddess with the Great Elder and understand the future of the elves through the Spirit World, but¡¡± Galadriel looked at the golden egg that was flickering at this moment. ¡°Undine, you might need to contribute the Philosopher¡¯s Blood in your hand. Our top priority is to quickly recover the vitality of the ancient tree. I wonder if you¡¯re willing?¡± There was naturally no need to ask this question. Undine¡¯s initial idea had been to heal the ancient tree. Now that it was effective, even if the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was rare, she would have no selfish motives. ¡°It¡¯s my supreme honor to be able to contribute to the elves!¡± Undine handed the rest of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood to Galadriel. After Galadriel took the bottle, she made arrangements for the three elders. ¡°For the next few days, we need to guard the Ancient Elven Tree in case anything happens.¡± The three of them lowered their heads at the same time. Then liquid magic flowed out of Galadriel¡¯s body and instantly enveloped the entire Ancient Elven Tree. While the Ancient Elven Tree recovered, she had to constantly observe the changes in the ancient tree. Another drop of Philosopher¡¯s Blood slowly attached to the eggshell of the golden egg. Galadriel deliberately reduced the use of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood by half. It was not because she was saving it, but because she knew the ancient tree¡¯s current state very well. It was like a terminally ill person suddenly having a life-saving medicine. For safety reasons, the use of this medicine had to be carefully controlled. At the edge of the Golden Forest, Morwenna was patrolling with the other elves. The two of them chatted about what they had seen and heard when they passed by the ancient trees. ¡°What do you think Her Majesty and the three elders are doing?¡± ¡°Needless to say, they must be healing the ancient tree. When I left today, I felt that the magic power in the forest had become much livelier and richer. The Ancient Elven Tree might really be able to revive!¡± Walking at the side, Morwenna looked expectant. As she passed by a bush, she did not notice that a withered plant was gradually reviving in the grass! For the next few days, Galadriel and the others waited for the Ancient Elven Tree. Every time she finished using the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, Galadriel would stop and observe for an hour to make sure that nothing bad had happened to the Ancient Elven Tree. Only then would she drip a new drop of Philosopher¡¯s Blood. However, the fact that it had been a few days also proved that the golden egg was absolutely safe. Moreover, the strength of the four people closest to the golden egg increased greatly under the effect of the aura. All of their faces were filled with uncontrollable joy. The most obvious was Slyph. Her strength had even forcefully increased by half a stage under the influence of the aura. At this rate, she would break through in another week. Unfortunately, the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was limited. Even so, the few of them were very satisfied. Moreover, they were not mainly happy about the change in their strength. At this moment, the old elf tree had completely lost its initial twilight feeling. It was like the grass after a wildfire had swept past. At the arrival of spring, spring buds were germinating under the ashes! The part of the Ancient Elven Tree that had grown tender leaves had already grown into a small branch that was filled with vitality. Its exuberant life force was exactly the same as the Ancient Elven Tree when it was not injured! Looking at the emerald green in the air, Galadriel and the others were a little excited. Their efforts had finally paid off! Chapter 10 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios The scene in front of her was something that Galadriel had only seen in countless dreams. At this moment, she suddenly felt as if a huge rock had fallen on her heart. The relief finally made her smile after a long time. After 350 years of waiting, if Galadriel wasn¡¯t the head of the elves, she really wanted to fly into the clouds and shout to vent her anger. As the head of a race, the pressure she was under was definitely not something others could imagine. When the Ancient Elven Tree was born, Galadriel had actually fallen into a state of confusion for a long time because she could no longer obtain accurate guidance from the Elven Goddess at that time. If not for Vieruodis¡¯s constant encouragement, her heart would probably have fallen like the withered Ancient Elven Tree. Vieruodis kept her gaze on Galadriel. At this moment, she really wanted to go up and hug her sister. As a sister, there were many times when she didn¡¯t want Galadriel to suffer so much alone, but the Queen¡¯s identity destined her to bear some extraordinary pressure. After a moment of happiness, Galadriel took a deep breath and suppressed her joy. She summoned the three elders to her and her expression turned a little more serious. ¡°I don¡¯t think anyone needs me to repeat the importance of the golden egg. It¡¯s very likely that the Elven Goddess is secretly helping us. And because of that, we have to be on guard.¡± ¡°The news of the golden egg must be completely sealed in the Golden Forest. Outsiders must not know. Although we don¡¯t know the secret, the power it contains will definitely attract the attention of the outside world.¡± ¡°Next, we¡¯ll continue to take turns guarding this egg, but I hope everyone can be focused because this involves the future of our elves!¡± The three elders nodded at the same time. They were already prepared to protect the golden egg with their lives. Slyph flapped her wings and flew away. This was because many elves had seen the golden egg that day. She had to inform the elves to pass this news to every elf. Then, Galadriel came to Undine. ¡°Although I know that collecting the materials for the refinement of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood is very troublesome and accompanied by danger, for the revival of the elves, I¡¯ll have to trouble you next. I, the Elf King, Galadriel, have given you the authority to mobilize all the resources of the elves at will and collect materials related to the Philosopher¡¯s Blood at all costs!¡± ¡°It¡¯s my honor to take on this mission. I promise with my life that I will find all the materials in three years!¡± Undine¡¯s gaze was steady. Even if Galadriel didn¡¯t give the order, she would collect the materials alone. Then she turned and disappeared through the magic portal that had just appeared. ¡°Sister, your body hasn¡¯t recovered yet. I¡¯ll keep the golden egg for the time being.¡± Vieruodis did not refuse. Although she had indeed increased her strength through the golden egg just now, entering the Spirit World consumed her soul. With her current soul state, she was indeed not suitable to protect the golden egg. ¡°Then I¡¯ll have to trouble you next.¡± ¡°It¡¯s all for the elves. It¡¯s nothing.¡± Galadriel replied and picked up the golden egg with both hands. At this moment, the golden egg was much larger. Galadriel felt the life force contained in it through the eggshell, and her eyes were filled with surprise. When Galadriel flew back to the bedroom with the golden egg, she did not notice that when the moonlight shone on the golden egg, a creature-like outline appeared on the eggshell! At this moment, Chen Kun stretched hard in the golden egg. Chen Kun had a long dream. Although the contents of the dream were unclear, he woke up with a smile on his face. ¡°I slept too comfortably this time. I feel like I¡¯ve made up for all the sleep I didn¡¯t get when I worked overtime in my previous life.¡± To be honest, being able to realize his freedom to sleep was one of his life dreams as a former employee. He turned over in satisfaction and scratched his stomach. ¡°If only such days could last¡¡± Thinking of this, Chen Kun was suddenly stunned. He seemed to have four limbs? At this moment, Chen Kun suddenly noticed that his surroundings were no longer the same chaos and darkness as before. As far as the eye could see, it was a grayish-white scene, and it seemed to be in some kind of liquid? Most importantly¡ he felt that something was wrong with his limbs¡ Chen Kun lowered his head and looked at the pink and pitiful arms on his left and right. He even wondered if they were his arms. On closer look, they did not seem to be his arms! ¡°Why does it look more and more like the claws of some creature?¡± He tried to control his current arms, and his heart turned cold because he did not feel like he could control his five fingers as he had before. He was stunned to see the two pink little claws swinging back and forth under his control. Chen Kun¡¯s mind was filled with mush. He subconsciously thought that he was dreaming, but the very real touch around him kept reminding him that they were already in the real world! Moreover, not only had Chen Kun been reincarnated as a non-human creature, but there was also a substance similar to a protective membrane around him. Looking down, his lower body had not even completely grown out! ¡°So¡ I¡¯m still an embryo?¡± Chen Kun¡¯s heart was trembling. In your current state, it might take a while to hatch. This reminded him of many television shows he had seen in the past. Eggs would often become food for other creatures¡ ¡°I hope my responsible parents are nearby. Otherwise, I¡¯ll be eaten before I¡¯m even born. I¡¯ll really have nowhere to cry.¡± Unable to help but mutter, Chen Kun suddenly wondered what he was. He tried his best to bring his claws close to his eyes. The general appearance made some memories appear in his mind, but they were not very clear. Then he controlled his small claws to touch his body. It was slippery. Then he looked down again and finally saw his appearance. Some images of the animal world in the past appeared in Chen Kun¡¯s mind. An oviparous creature with claws? Why was he reincarnated as a lizard? From his current appearance, this was the only possibility. This was because even if a crocodile was not born, the skin on its back was definitely not as smooth and soft as a loach¡ Chapter 11 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios It was over. His life was over! Chen Kun¡¯s mind was filled with his future appearance as a lizard. The thought of the dancing female lizard on TV made him want to bang his head against the eggshell. Why did a good person like him have such an encounter?! ¡°I¡¯d rather be reincarnated as an animal like a cat or dog!¡± ¡°At least I can find a master and not have to worry about food and drink for the rest of my life.¡± ¡°Now, people will probably chase me away in the future!¡± All kinds of complicated emotions made Chen Kun think of many tragic futures. He really hoped that a predator would appear now so that he could reincarnate again. After lying in the eggshell for half a day, Chen Kun finally accepted this reality. Anyway. He had lived again. He would treat it as a new experience in life. Moreover, lizards did not have to go to work. They could catch insects wherever they wanted. ¡®Let¡¯s just enjoy the freelance lizard life without a job.¡¯ He still had his memories as a human. When the time came, he would definitely be very popular. Perhaps he could become a Lizard King or something. At that time, wouldn¡¯t the beautiful female lizard be easy to capture? But in the next second, Chen Kun¡¯s heart turned cold. He seemed to have started thinking like a non-human¡ Galadriel put the golden egg in the bedroom and turned to change. She was completely unaware of the countless ancient runes that flashed across the eggshell. It was night. Galadriel was sitting in front of the bed carefully sensing the golden egg. She had already spent an hour, but she still could not sense what was going on inside the golden egg. Retracting her magic, a magic projection appeared to Galadriel¡¯s left. Above it was Undine, who was riding back quickly. Through the image, it was obvious that not only were there wild beasts roaring on her side. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Your Majesty. Forgive me for not being able to salute. I¡¯m in a little trouble here.¡± ¡°However, we¡¯ve successfully broken away. One of the elves is injured. I¡¯ll send someone back soon!¡± Galadriel listened to the other party¡¯s tone and combined it with the speed of the horses running at this moment, she roughly knew what was going on with Undine. Immediately after, magic surrounded her. She injected a very strong magic power into the projection. A few days passed in a flash. Galadriel was dripping the content of a potion onto the golden egg. However, the potion was absorbed as soon as it came into contact with the golden egg. There was no response. ¡°It still doesn¡¯t work. Other than the Philosopher¡¯s Blood last time, nothing you brought has any effect.¡± ¡°I think activating the golden egg¡¯s ability requires very powerful magic power. The magic power of those alchemy potions is not enough.¡± Galadriel handed the pill bottle to Undine, who was beside her. Undine is in a difficult position. ¡°Your Majesty, I know the effect of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, but we can¡¯t enter the wasteland to obtain that mother beast¡¯s blood now. The loss of forcing our way in is too great.¡± ¡°And after so long, many areas where materials are located have been occupied by various forces.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think I can extract the Philosopher¡¯s Blood in time.¡± Undine has not been idle these past few days. She has reached many places through teleportation magic. Many materials for refining the Philosopher¡¯s Blood became extremely difficult to obtain. Although some factions could communicate, it was hard to guarantee that they would not guess something. Not to mention that the Philosopher¡¯s Blood still needed a few years to be refined. There was a high chance that this would fail. One had to know that at the beginning of the refinement, Undine¡¯s luck actually accounted for more than half. Galadriel pondered at Undine¡¯s words. ¡°Is there any equivalent material that can directly replace it? The Golden Forest is still very rich.¡± ¡°No, any alchemy is a formula obtained after countless experiments.¡± ¡°This is the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. Changing it rashly can easily cause an explosion, but Your Majesty¡¯s words reminded me of something.¡± ¡°Now we¡¯ve established that the golden egg won¡¯t react to something with less magic.¡± ¡°But it doesn¡¯t prove that the golden egg will only respond to the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. Perhaps we can replace the Philosopher¡¯s Blood with something else!¡± Undine¡¯s words made Galadriel realize this. Immediately, Undine stepped forward and spoke. ¡°Over the past few days, I¡¯ve thought of two suitable substitutes through observation. One is the Elf Dew, the other is the Golden Lake.¡± Galadriel fell into thought. It wasn¡¯t that she was unwilling to take out these two things, but either one was important to the elves. The Elf Dew was the essence condensed from the mental power of countless elves. As long as a dying elf used a drop, they could escape the gates of hell. Because it only condensed a drop every hundred years, it was abnormally precious to the elves. Back then, Lehr had chosen to betray them because of the Elf Dew. As for the Golden Lake, it was not filled with ordinary water. Instead, it was the high concentration of magic power slowly condensed by the Ancient Elven Tree through its roots over the years. Normally, even Galadriel could not enter without permission. This was because the magic power stored here could only be used in times of extinction. Therefore, in a sense, these two items were even more important than the three holy relics of the elves. On one side was the Ancient Elven Tree, and on the other was the supreme treasure of the elves. Galadriel was in a difficult position. She wanted to save the ancient tree, but she had to be responsible for the entire elf race! ¡°Your Majesty, something happened outside the city!¡± Just as Galadriel was hesitating about this, a flustered elf envoy ran in. ¡°What happened?¡± The elf was obviously very tired, but Undine was a little puzzled. She knew the patrol arrangements. This elf envoy called Gina was patrolling around Jadeite City. No matter how big the Jadeite City was, the elves who could fly would not be so tired. Gina answered, breathing hard. ¡°Just now, I was patrolling outside the city with a forest patrol. When I reached an area, the magic in my body suddenly disappeared.¡± ¡°I¡¯m fine. The others are badly injured from falling from a high altitude. There¡¯s a very strange stone where they fell!¡± Undine seemed to think of something through Gina¡¯s description. Beside him, Galadriel also pondered for a moment. Then she spoke. ¡°Lead the way. We¡¯ll see what¡¯s going on when we get there.¡± Following Gina, Galadriel and the others quickly arrived outside the city. There were already many elves gathered ahead. The whispering elves looked a little panicked. The auras of Galadriel and Undine scattered the elves. Undine walked over to the injured nearby while Galadriel came to the clearing surrounded by the elves and saw a dark stone. Chapter 12 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios The magic around the stone seemed to freeze, losing the mobility it should have. If one sensed carefully, the magic power in the air seemed to be fading. At the same time, Galadriel could feel the magic in her body being suppressed. Something she hadn¡¯t seen in a long time came to mind. Anti-Magic Stone. ¡°Everyone stay away.¡± As the name suggested, the Anti-Magic Stone was a special material specially used to deal with magic power. Within a certain range, it could suppress the liquidity of magic and absorb it. The principle of using magic was to make magic circulate according to a specific trajectory by increasing the mobility of magic power and combining it with a specific incantation to produce different effects. It could be said that the Anti-Magic Stone was the nemesis of magic power and magic creatures. Even Forbidden Spell-level curses would be affected by the Anti-Magic Stone. This was not difficult to explain why the elves had fallen from a high altitude. It was because the magic flow in their bodies was completely suppressed. Galadriel and the other elves retreated to a safe distance. Facing the Anti-Magic Stone, she could indeed destroy it in the strongest way. However, this premise was that the amount of magic power the Anti-Magic Stone could absorb had reached the upper limit. If it could not withstand the overly powerful magic, it would explode. But once it exploded, it would unleash the power of Galadriel. The bombardment of demigod power was enough to destroy half of Jadeite City! Now, Galadriel could not approach rashly. Although she was a demigod, she was not a true god. The magic power in his body would also be restrained by the Anti-Magic Stone. After arranging the injured, Undine quickly came to Galadriel¡¯s side. She looked at the Anti-Magic Stone not far from the grass and spoke in shock. ¡°How did this get in?¡± ¡°I¡¯m not sure. I checked the barrier of the Golden Forest as soon as I received the news.¡± ¡°The barrier doesn¡¯t show any intrusion or damage. No signs of other magic have been checked.¡± Vieruodis and Slyph also descended from their perch, and her answer made a serious look cross Galadriel¡¯s face. After the battle, in order to protect the elves from invasion, Galadriel and the three elders jointly cast three magic barriers. One was built outside the Golden Forest. When an offender invaded, the other party and Galadriel would remind them. This was also a friendly warning to the other party. If the other party insisted on going deeper into the Golden Forest, then in the middle of the Golden Forest, they would encounter a second Level 9 magic barrier. In terms of hardness, even if more than a hundred Saint Magisters attacked at the same time, they would be safe and sound. Most of the intruders would be stopped in this area. This was because even a very powerful magister could pass through this Level 9 magic barrier. Next, they would welcome one of the three elders. Therefore, the outside world only knew that the entire elves had two defenses and a few elders guarding them. When they reached the area where the real elves lived, they set up a Forbidden Spell barrier that Galadriel had spent 200 years storing magic power. Even a demigod would lose a layer of skin if they wanted to enter this barrier! Therefore, when they saw the sudden appearance of the Anti-Magic Stone, their faces were filled with shock. What kind of person could dodge the magic detection of four demigod experts while avoiding three magic barriers? ¡°Undine, gather all the elves and investigate the entire elves from the inside out. Don¡¯t let go of a single corner!¡± Galadriel gave the order. Undine had changed into her elf armor. She flew towards the Jadeite City with a serious expression, sending a magic signal to the entire Golden Forest. ¡°What should we do with this stone? If we leave it here, I¡¯m afraid it won¡¯t be long before the magic in the surrounding area is completely absorbed.¡± There was some worry in Vieruodis¡¯s words. The horror of the Anti-Magic Stone was not just the restriction and absorption of magic power. When an Anti-Magic Stone completely absorbed the magic power of an area, then this area would also have the characteristics of the Anti-Magic Stone! It was like the decay of an apple. Before long, the decay would spread throughout the entire apple. ¡°But if we rashly seal it, it¡¯s difficult to guarantee that our surroundings won¡¯t be affected. If the Anti-Magic Stone explodes, the consequences will be very serious.¡± Slyph analyzed. In the previous war, she should be the elf who knew the power of the Anti-Magic Stone the best. Galadriel was also having a headache over their words. This Anti-Magic Stone had indeed become a hot potato. There was no benefit in dealing with it. ¡°If only there were humans nearby. Humans with no magic power in their bodies can move the Anti-Magic Stone away at will.¡± ¡°How can that do? Humans are so greedy!¡± ¡°If they take a fancy to some treasure when they come in, I¡¯m afraid they¡¯ll take the opportunity to ask for an exorbitant price!¡± ¡°But what if we don¡¯t find humans? The Queen can¡¯t casually approach the Anti-Magic Stone. If this drags on¡¡± The whispers of a few elves in the distance reached Galadriel¡¯s ears. Finding humans was indeed the best way, but she really did not want to ask humans for help unless she had no choice. The elves had interacted with humans many times over the years but in the end¡ Beside her, Slyph saw Galadriel thinking. She spoke quickly. ¡°Queen, we must not ask the humans for help. Knowing those guys, they might even threaten us with it!¡± ¡°Moreover, this is the interior of the elves. If the news gets out, the reputation of our elves will¡¡± ¡°Reputation is nothing. This is also thousands of kilometers from the nearest human habitation area.¡± ¡°And we don¡¯t have a magical location near the human settlement. How can we get there?¡± Vieruodis interrupted Slyph. At this moment, Galadriel made a decision. ¡°Sylph, clear an empty space and set up a higher-level magic defense around it. I¡¯ll transfer this Anti-Magic Stone over. Then we¡¯ll join forces to seal it.¡± ¡°No!¡± Vieruodis and Slyph spoke at the same time. ¡°Even with your strength, if you rashly come into contact with the Anti-Magic Stone, you will definitely suffer considerable injuries.¡± ¡°You¡¯re the support and future of the entire elves now. If anything happens to you.¡± ¡°What about the entire elves?¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. We can definitely think of a better way. This Anti-Magic Stone has just been placed here. The area that spreads is not large yet. We can seal this area for the time being!¡± Galadriel smiled and shook her head. ¡°Since I¡¯m the Elf Queen, I have to bear the responsibility of protecting them.¡± ¡°Take care. I¡¯ll transfer it as quickly as possible.¡± ¡°When the time comes, I¡¯ll successfully seal it. I¡¯ll be weak for a few days at most. There won¡¯t be a big problem, right?¡± Chapter 13 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios With that, Galadriel didn¡¯t give the others a chance to speak. The magic around her flowed. Immediately after, she reached into the newly formed magic array with her left hand and took out the golden egg. ¡°Great Elder, I¡¯ll leave this egg to you for safekeeping. Remember to ensure its safety.¡± ¡°Your Majesty, don¡¯t worry. I¡¯ll definitely protect this egg well!¡± Vieruodis took the egg. Although she wanted to say something to stop Galadriel, she knew that with Galadriel¡¯s personality, she would never listen to her opinion. This scene was seen by the surrounding elves. All the elves were curious. Many elves had seen the egg before, but they thought it had been dealt with. From the looks of it, it was obvious that Galadriel valued this egg. Even the Prophet Great Elder, Vieruodis, had the same performance, which puzzled the other elves. ¡°What do you think is in that egg?¡± ¡°I think since it was born from the spring of elves, it should be elves in there.¡± ¡°It¡¯s just that this elf is special. That¡¯s why it¡¯s an egg.¡± This was a little ridiculous. However, the surrounding elves also leaned towards this explanation, because there had been some specially-born elves in the past. Suddenly, all the elves felt a powerful pressure. They looked in that direction. Galadriel floated in the air, her body glowing with pure white magic like moonlight. The surrounding elves were already far away from this troublesome place. With their strength, they could not withstand the pressure coming from Galadriel even from afar. As surging magic spilled out of Galadriel¡¯s body, the area within a hundred meters of the Anti-Magic Stone in the center was instantly enveloped by a pure and transparent energy barrier. After completing the isolation of the Anti-Magic Stone, the next step was to transport it to the place that Slyph had cleared. Galadriel clasped her hands together. A great deal of magic poured out of her fingertips. Under the guidance of the Elf Whisper, the magic actually formed a huge angel phantom above Galadriel¡¯s head! Even the elves who had retreated far away saw this scene. Immediately, some elves could not help but exclaim. ¡°Is this¡ the Level 9 special spell blessed by the Elven Goddess to Her Majesty, Angel Chant?¡± ¡°That¡¯s not possible. Her Majesty actually wants to use a Level 9 spell blessed by the goddess for an Anti-Magic Stone?¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. I saw Her Majesty use it three hundred years ago.¡± A one-eyed elf appeared in the forest. The other elves immediately lowered their heads and bowed. This person was the commander of the Seventeen Elven Envoys, Gwen. She was also the highest-ranking and strongest elf in the entire elves other than Queen Galadriel and the three elders. Gwen¡¯s current strength was already at the peak of the Saint Magister realm. If not for the fact that something had happened to the Ancient Elven Tree, she would definitely be a demigod-level expert now. Even so, back in the Abyssal Battle, she also relied on her outstanding talent to restrain three demigod-level monsters and successfully stalled them until the alliance army arrived. Of course, the price was one of her eyes. ¡°No wonder Undine called me back to patrol. I guess I¡¯ll have to check it out.¡± On the other side, Galadriel was about to transfer the Anti-Magic Stone when she suddenly realized that a translucent protective array had appeared on the Anti-Magic Stone. ¡°It can actually form arrays on its own?¡± Galadriel was surprised. The angel phantom above her head began to chant softly. The sound seemed to disintegrate everything. Even Vieruodis and Slyph, who had just returned, had to use their magic to protect themselves. The sound penetrated the barrier and quickly surrounded the Anti-Magic Stone. However, the protective array of the Anti-Magic Stone did not dissolve! At the same time, the Anti-Magic Stone erupted with a suction force that seemed to be extracting life. The surrounding magic power instantly surged in the direction of the Anti-Magic Stone. Boom! The magic power slammed into the isolation circle Galadriel had summoned. For a moment, there were explosions all around. The scene made Galadriel frown. This Anti-Magic Stone had very likely grown to the point of intelligence. He had to destroy it today no matter what! Vieruodis and Slyph walked up. Did they also sense the abnormality of this Anti-Magic Stone? However, just as the angel phantom formed above the two of them, Vieruodis suddenly ended her casting. ¡°What happened to you?¡± Slyph looked at her in confusion. Vieruodis opened the magic space and took out the egg inside with a puzzled expression. ¡°This egg just sent out a very strong fluctuation. It seems to¡ want the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± Vieruodis said uncertainly. When the golden egg was completely taken out, the light emitted by the golden egg indeed became stronger. At this moment, Galadriel walked over and gently placed her palm on the golden egg. A moment later, a trace of confusion appeared on her face. ¡°Why is this egg interested in the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± The three of them looked at each other. For a moment, no one could say an answer. The golden egg was flickering faster and faster now. At this moment, all three of them clearly felt its desire. ¡°Is it possible¡ that the Golden Egg wants to approach the Anti-Magic Stone because it absorbed too much magic power?¡± It had to be said that Slyph¡¯s thoughts were bold, but that seemed the most likely possibility at the moment. On careful thought, every Anti-Magic Stone would infinitely absorb the magic power within a certain area, and it was basically indestructible. This was because, in this world, any power that exceeded the ability of a creature came from magic. Therefore, the Anti-Magic Stone would only become stronger with time. This was also why they felt that it was troublesome. Vieruodis and Slyph waited quietly for Galadriel¡¯s opinion. Galadriel was still a little hesitant because the Anti-Magic Stone was the nemesis of all magical creatures. If this golden egg was the future hope of their elves inside, it was undoubtedly a huge gamble. At this moment, the golden egg flickered again, giving off the feeling that it was very eager to eat. At that moment, Undine returned. She could feel the surprising desire that erupted from the golden egg from afar. ¡°What happened?¡± Vieruodis briefly described the process, and Undine¡¯s eyes lit up. ¡°I think that since this golden egg can perfectly accommodate the power of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, it should be able to absorb the power of the Anti-Magic Stone.¡± ¡°This Anti-Magic Stone should be more than a thousand years old. The magic power contained in it can be imagined.¡± Undine¡¯s words finally made Galadriel decide. Moreover, there was not much time to waste now. She could feel the magic barrier she had set up being consumed bit by bit. Chapter 14 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Picking up the golden egg, Galadriel walked straight toward the Anti-Magic Stone. ¡°What is the Queen doing?!¡± ¡°I¡¯m not sure. Why would she go directly to the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± ¡°No, if this continues, something will happen to the Queen!¡± The few elves watching from the distant Jadeite City Wall did not understand Galadriel¡¯s actions. As elves, they knew the power of the Anti-Magic Stone very well. Seeing that Galadriel was already close to the Anti-Magic Stone, all the elves¡¯ hearts skipped a beat. Not only them, but Undine and the other two had also gathered all their magic power. As long as Galadriel felt any discomfort, they would immediately rush over! ¡°Think harder before you make any suggestions next time. You¡¯ve never been able to change this bad habit.¡± Vieruodis was a little dissatisfied, and Undine did not argue at this moment. Part of what she had just said was indeed because of her curiosity. But now that she had calmed down, her curiosity had been completely suppressed by worry. If she could, Undine really wanted to do this in Galadriel¡¯s place! But then a look of surprise appeared on everyone¡¯s faces, which gradually turned to shock. At this moment, Galadriel was less than 50 meters away from the Anti-Magic Stone. At this distance, the Anti-Magic Stone would absorb the magic power of all creatures within its range. However, at this moment, the Anti-Magic Stone seemed abnormally quiet, as if Galadriel did not exist! ¡°How is that possible?¡± Undine muttered. Although Galadriel was powerful, she knew that even this Elf Queen, who was closest to the level of gods, definitely did not dare to face the Anti-Magic Stone without any protection! Moreover, at this distance, she had already reached the activation range of the Anti-Magic Stone. Beside her, Vieruodis was also filled with doubts. She was sure that this was the real Anti-Magic Stone, but why it had not been activated was puzzling. There was no magic flowing out of Galadriel, so it was certain that she wasn¡¯t defending herself. The only possibility left was the egg in Galadriel¡¯s arms! At this moment, Galadriel, who was less than 30 meters away from the anti-motor time, was also filled with shock. Her hands were pressed against the golden egg. Feeling the golden egg¡¯s infinite desire for the Anti-Magic Stone, she understood that it was entirely because of the golden egg that she was not affected. Before approaching, Galadriel had been fully prepared. When the time came, she would evacuate immediately if she sensed that something was wrong. But now it seemed that these preparations were unnecessary. Even so, Galadriel remained vigilant. After all, it was difficult to guarantee that the Anti-Magic Stone was deliberately attracting her in the current situation. Soon, Galadriel was only ten meters away from the Anti-Magic Stone. The hearts of the surrounding elves in the distance were in their throats. This distance was already extremely dangerous. If the Anti-Magic Stone suddenly activated¡ All the elves¡¯ breathing became heavy at that terrifying outcome. At this moment, a figure rushed out of the forest like a swift cheetah. Undine wanted to stop her, but the other party instantly distanced herself from her. ¡°Gwen, don¡¯t go in!¡± Slyph immediately shouted, but Gwen, who did not understand the situation, could not hear this. She only wanted to protect Galadriel! In a few breaths, she was 180 meters away from the Anti-Magic Stone. But in the next second, she stopped with a pained expression. ¡°Come back quickly. Her Majesty is doing an experiment. We¡¯ll help if there¡¯s a problem!¡± Gwen turned and spoke brusquely at the sound of Vieruodis¡¯s voice. ¡°Experiment? Can¡¯t it be someone else? Why must the Queen take the risk?¡± Galadriel had also heard the voice behind her, but now she couldn¡¯t let her guard down. ¡°There¡¯s nothing wrong with me at the moment. Leave quickly!¡± But Gwen was famous for being stubborn. Even though the magic in her body was draining quickly, she gritted her teeth and cast her magic again. But this time, she only advanced less than ten meters. The huge loss of magic made her unable to stand steadily. Seeing that she was about to force her way forward, three magic shackles made of magic locked onto Gwen as quickly as lightning. In just an instant, the effect of the Anti-Magic Stone was activated, and Gwen¡¯s aura weakened greatly. Immediately after, she was forcibly pulled back. ¡°Your Majesty!¡± She struggled to get up, but the huge loss of magic in her body only allowed her to say those words before she lost consciousness completely. ¡°Be gentle next time. After all, she¡¯s only a Saint Magister.¡± Vieruodis reminded Undine, who was speechless. ¡°You know her personality. That¡¯s all I can do.¡± Actually, to be honest, it was very difficult to hypnotize Gwen under normal circumstances. It was just that Gwen was completely unguarded against her just now. The current situation of Gwen made Vieruodis even more worried about Galadriel. Galadriel had already carried the golden egg to the Anti-Magic Stone. Even she couldn¡¯t help feeling a little nervous at this moment. ¡°I¡¯m fine. Don¡¯t worry, everyone.¡± Galadriel¡¯s loud voice made countless elves heave a sigh of relief. But the questions that followed threw all the elves into deep confusion. Why was Galadriel so close to the Anti-Magic Stone? ¡®But she didn¡¯t show anything unusual at all?¡¯ The Anti-Magic Stone had been the nemesis of the elves for thousands of years. Some despicable humans would even use the Anti-Magic Stone to specially make weapons against elves. If Galadriel had found a solution, the elves would not have to fear any race in the future! Looking at the Anti-Magic Stone so close in front of her, Galadriel took a deep breath. She gently placed the golden egg close to the Anti-Magic Stone, and then a shocking scene appeared! The originally quiet surface of the Anti-Magic Stone suddenly fluctuated like boiling liquid. Then, a powerful magical fluctuation spread out from the Anti-Magic Stone! Galadriel subconsciously cast a shield on her body, but she realized that the magic power impact had been absorbed by the egg in her hand! Outside, Undine and the other two also cast their magic at the same time. Three magic shields of different colors covered the magic barrier that Galadriel had originally cast. Thud! The magic fluctuations slammed into the four layers of reinforced magic barrier. Vieruodis felt a very powerful magic power. She could not help but look at Galadriel in the center. Seeing that Galadriel¡¯s expression did not change, she put away her worries. ¡°Pay attention to maintaining your magic defense. The next impact might be stronger.¡± The other two elders nodded at the same time, all the magic power in their bodies mobilized. At this moment, the golden egg successfully touched the Anti-Magic Stone. Galadriel¡¯s heart skipped a beat. Chapter 15 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios However, this time, the Anti-Magic Stone did not emit any magic fluctuations like before. What happened next made Galadriel¡¯s eyes widen. The Anti-Magic Stone, which was as dark as water, trembled. Then¡ The spot where it touched the golden egg turned gray at a visible speed! The grayish-white area was still expanding. Although it was not very fast, Galadriel could clearly feel that the grayish-white part of the Anti-Magic Stone no longer had any magic power! ¡°How is that possible?!¡± Even with Galadriel¡¯s composure, she could not help but exclaim in surprise. The three elders in the distance could not sense what had happened because of the Anti-Magic Stone¡¯s effect around them. However, they could tell from Galadriel¡¯s expression. Their previous guess was right. The golden egg should have a certain restraining effect on the Anti-Magic Stone. Otherwise, Galadriel would not be standing safe and sound beside the Anti-Magic Stone now. ¡°Wait, did you notice that the part where the Anti-Magic Stone comes into contact with the golden egg seems to have turned white?¡± Sylph noticed this, but because she could not use her magic perception, she could only observe from afar. ¡°That seems to be the case. What happened?¡± Undine was puzzled. For a moment, Vieruodis could not say. Galadriel felt the magic power filling the surface of the golden egg and was overjoyed. The golden egg did not stand on ceremony. It seemed to know that there was something delicious. Next, the golden egg began to crazily plunder the magic power contained in the Anti-Magic Stone. Looking at it, Galadriel couldn¡¯t help but wonder if it had absorbed her magic too. However, on second thought, this was the blessing of the Elven Goddess! Otherwise, the golden egg might have targeted her before. She mocked herself for worrying for nothing. At this moment, half of the Anti-Magic Stone had already turned white. Galadriel moved the golden egg down a bit and it was quickly dyed white. ¡°Your Majesty, are you okay?¡± Sensing the anti-magic domain shrink, the three elders outside immediately activated their magic power and reduced the defense area by 50 meters. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, this golden egg is absorbing the magic power from the Anti-Magic Stone. It should be fine soon.¡± Galadriel¡¯s words stunned the three of them. The expressions on their faces were especially colorful. At this moment, the Anti-Magic Stone had completely turned white. At the same time, the surrounding anti-magic effect slowly dissipated. For safety¡¯s sake, the elders did not immediately remove the magic barrier. Vieruodis retracted her magic power and entered the magic barrier. ¡°The Anti-Magic Stone¡ was really dealt with by this egg?¡± Vieruodis, who had come to Galadriel¡¯s side, looked incredulous. At this moment, the effect of the Anti-Magic Stone no longer existed around him. It was just like an ordinary stone in front of Galadriel! ¡°We made the right bet this time.¡± Galadriel let out a long sigh of relief, then gently picked up the golden egg. She clearly felt the weight of the golden egg increase a lot. As the golden egg left, the Anti-Magic Stone, which had completely turned grayish-white, suddenly trembled and turned into dust on the ground! Vieruodis watched this scene excitedly. ¡°Your Majesty, if I remember correctly, there are more than ten Anti-Magic Stones sealed in the Golden Forest.¡± ¡°Can we¡ª¡± ¡°Forget it for the time being, because we don¡¯t know the upper limit of the absorption of the golden egg at the moment.¡± ¡°Just to be safe, let it digest first.¡± Suddenly, there was a violent wind on the ground. Then Gwen appeared in front of Galadriel. ¡°Do you know how dangerous it was just now to put Her Majesty in such danger?¡± Forbidden Spells had appeared in Gwen¡¯s hands. She seemed unable to open her eyes. Clearly, she had forcefully broken through the sleep spell. In the face of Gwen¡¯s accusation, Vieruodis reminded her, ¡°This is what Her Majesty wants.¡± ¡°From the looks of it, not only did we avoid this crisis, but we also saw a new future for the elves.¡± Only then did Gwen suddenly realize that the surrounding anti-magic domain had indeed disappeared. Her gaze shifted to the white ashes on the ground. A moment later, her pupils shook. ¡°Has Her Majesty found a way to destroy the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Gwen. It¡¯s not my credit. It¡¯s because this egg absorbed the magic of the Anti-Magic Stone.¡± Gwen froze at the answer, her gaze immediately locked on the golden egg. On the way back, she had indeed heard about the golden egg. However, at that time, she did not care much, thinking that this was just one of the blessings of the Elven Goddess. ¡°Are you serious? This inconspicuous egg can actually absorb the magic power within the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± The words made Galadriel laugh. Speaking of which, this egg was not ordinary. It first appeared in the Elf Spring and revived the extinct Moonlight Grass. Later on, it helped the Ancient Elven Tree heal many damaged tree trunks by absorbing the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. Now, it had directly resolved a huge problem for the elves. If this was ordinary, there was nothing else worth mentioning in the entire elf race. ¡°We still have something to discuss. Let Slyph tell you what happened in the past few days tonight.¡± With that, Galadriel prepared to go back with the egg, but when she saw the elves gathered around her, she gave Gwen a look. Although this matter was a good thing for the entire elves, the information spread had to be strictly limited to the elves! Galadriel and the three elders returned to the Elven Hall. The golden egg was temporarily placed on the table by Galadriel. Although the problem of the Anti-Magic Stone had been resolved today, there was another problem to discuss. Galadriel¡¯s expression was serious. ¡°How¡¯s your investigation going, Undine?¡± ¡°Your Majesty, I¡¯ve already secretly tested all the elves. No one has communicated with outsiders.¡± ¡°So it can be ruled out that the inside and the outside should be working together. The strange thing is¡¡± ¡°I checked a few seals inside and outside the Golden Forest in detail. These seals show no signs of being eroded by any magic at all.¡± Galadriel listened quietly to Undine¡¯s report, but her gaze suddenly shifted to the golden egg beside her. Vieruodis and the other two turned their heads at the same time. The golden egg, which had been lying quietly on the table, suddenly trembled. Then the scales on the surface of the golden egg emitted a gentle light. This confused Galadriel and the others. However, before they could discuss it, a powerful pressure pressed down on the four of them! Although all of them summoned their shields at the same time, the pressure gave them the illusion that they wanted to submit. The few of them were shocked. Then, they heard a very heavy heartbeat coming from the golden egg. The heartbeat was strong, followed by a second, then a third¡ The vibration of his heart made the table under the golden egg tremble. Galadriel¡¯s hands gently covered the golden egg. The tremors finally eased a little, but the powerful heartbeat still echoed in the hall. ¡°What happened?¡± ¡°I guess¡ it might be hatching!¡± Chapter 16 - Undercurrents in the Dark A raven flew across the lifeless ground. The miasma was thick, and from time to time, bones could be seen sticking out of the ground. The raven flew into a dark canyon ahead and melted into the darkness. ¡°I don¡¯t think Galadriel will be able to do anything about the Anti-Magic Stone sent over this time, right?¡± ¡°That¡¯s for sure. The Ancient Elven Tree that they rely on to survive has long been unable to provide them with protection!¡± ¡°A bunch of self-proclaimed nobles. They¡¯re nothing without the protection of the Ancient Elven Tree!¡± ¡°Maybe after a while, the Golden Forest will be completely affected by the Anti-Magic Stone.¡± ¡°At that time, we might be able to take back the territory that belongs to us Dark Elves!¡± In the dark underground, countless voices filled with disgust echoed in this underground space. Elves with black wings were discussing their results today. The Dark Elves were also elves from the Golden Forest. Over the years, his obsession with dark magic led him into the darkness and freed him from the traditional way of birth of elves. Relying on dark magic and living sacrifices, he could create new Dark Elves. They were also the greatest ¡°contributors¡± to the Abyssal invasion back then! Countless Dark Elves were sitting around an array. Every Dark Elf looked a little tired, but it could not hide the smugness in their words. However, among the Dark Elves, there was an elf with white wings. She sat by the array, toying with the skull of some creature. ¡°Ah! Ah!¡± The raven¡¯s hoarse cry echoed in this underground space. All the Dark Elves looked over. A shadow appeared in the air, and Raven was instantly strangled by a pale hand. The raven instantly melted into a pool of blood, which then formed a paragraph of words. The smug Dark Elves froze. Then the black shadow condensed and a hot woman with a skull crown appeared in the center of the array. ¡°How is that possible? We used everyone¡¯s magic to activate the Death Speech black magic!¡± ¡°How can they resolve the Anti-Magic Stone so quickly?¡± ¡°Moreover, with Galadriel¡¯s strength, she can at most seal the Anti-Magic Stone. That will also cause her to suffer a huge loss.¡± ¡°Could it be that those damned elves have shamelessly gone to the Elven Goddess for help again?¡± ¡°It¡¯s possible. They¡¯re working with humans. I¡¯ve heard that a human magister has divine magic!¡± All the Dark Elves were furious. This time, they used the Death Speech black magic to transfer the Anti-Magic Stone. They had also suffered a lot. They thought that they could severely injure the elves, but they did not expect the elves to completely resolve the Anti-Magic Stone in such a short period of time! ¡°Everyone, be quiet!¡± The Dark Elf at the center of the array spoke. She was the Queen of the Dark Elves, Zyra. Like Galadriel, she was a demigod magister. Her eyes scanned the surrounding Dark Elves before she spoke coldly. ¡°The elves didn¡¯t ask the Elven Goddess for help. Those selfish and arrogant fellows won¡¯t cooperate with humans.¡± ¡°But we need to give the Abyss Lord an explanation.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll choose some sacrifices and send them to the mouth of the abyss.¡± As soon as these words were spoken, all the Dark Elves tensed up and kept glancing back and forth at the others. Some of the weaker Dark Elves seemed to have guessed something. They were about to leave secretly when they were suddenly pierced by spikes. Soon, dozens of Dark Elves were selected. They, who had also been pierced, bled from their mouths and noses and could only struggle weakly in the air. The Dark Elves who had not been chosen heaved a sigh of relief. There was no pity on their faces. ¡°Everyone should know why. Our plan failed this time.¡± ¡°The Abyss Lord must be very angry. If we bring some sacrifices over, she might be a little more friendly to us next.¡± Zyra explained briefly. Then, the Dark Elves in the air were sent into a corner of the darkness by the black demonic aura. Although the sacrifice had been provided, Zyra still did not look much relieved. The Abyss was not easy to deal with. In the Goddess Hall. The rhythmic heartbeat kept echoing in the hall. Galadriel and the other three elders were all staring at the source of the heartbeat. At this moment, runes were flowing on the golden egg¡¯s shell. Every time they flowed, he could feel an abnormally active life force. Galadriel and the others were a little excited. At the same time, they were curious. What kind of species was the little life inside? ¡°Knock, knock!¡± ¡°Knock, knock!¡± The sound of their hearts suddenly became much heavier. Galadriel and the others immediately perked up. Then the light on the surface of the eggshell became a little blinding. Galadriel and the others used their magic to protect their eyes. None of them wanted to miss this. However, in the next second, the light of the golden egg instantly disappeared. Galadriel and the others were dumbfounded. The Golden Egg acted as if nothing had happened. After a long time, Undine tentatively stepped forward. ¡°Could the hatching have failed?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think so. I can still feel the life in the egg.¡± Galadriel reached out and pressed her hand against the eggshell. Warm magic spread out in her palm. But a moment later, she froze. She had wanted to sense the state of the small life in the egg and see what species it was but his magic power disappeared. Needless to say, it must have been absorbed by the golden egg. ¡°Looks like it won¡¯t hatch for the time being.¡± Slyph sounded disappointed, but Vieruodis didn¡¯t think so. ¡°I think the creature in here hasn¡¯t hatched yet because the time isn¡¯t right.¡± ¡°Think about it. Even if it didn¡¯t hatch, it caused such a commotion previously.¡± ¡°When the time is right, the hatched creature might really become the hope of the elves!¡± Vieruodis was filled with hope for the egg. At this moment, Undine asked her question. ¡°Speaking of which, why can this egg devour the Anti-Magic Stone?¡± Logically speaking, the Anti-Magic Stone was the nemesis of all magical creatures, and this egg was naturally no exception. However, it had swallowed the power of the Anti-Magic Stone. ¡°I¡¯ll answer that question.¡± Galadriel spoke, and then she sat back in her seat. ¡°At first, I thought the egg was absorbing energy and converting it into an aura that would benefit us.¡± ¡°But that doesn¡¯t seem to be the case now.¡± ¡°The creature in the egg is obviously absorbing magic, and its upper limit is high. That¡¯s why it can devour the Forbidding Stone.¡± ¡°There¡¯s a vast amount of magic power stored inside the Anti-Magic Stone, but we can¡¯t use it at all.¡± ¡°But it can do it. That is, it absorbs all the magic of the Forbidding Stone.¡± After hearing Galadriel¡¯s answer, the three elders present were stunned. Absorbing the magic power of the Anti-Magic Stone could be said to be unique in the thousand-year history of the elves! On the other side, Chen Kun, who was in the egg, looked incredulous. Of course, if he had an expression to begin with. Chapter 17 - Understanding the Situation After absorbing the magic power of the Anti-Magic Stone, Chen Kun finally woke up from his sleep. Of course, he had no idea what had happened in the outside world at that time. After waking up this time, Chen Kun clearly felt much better than before. Not only had his limbs lost their pink color, but from the looks of it, he seemed to have become larger. ¡°Looks like I slept a long time.¡± Chen Kun thought to himself, but that was a good thing. It proved that he was only a few days away from the day he broke out of his shell. At the thought that he could subdue the lizard lackeys outside in the future, Chen Kun decisively began to plan his lizard life. However, at this moment, he suddenly noticed that there seemed to be something wrong with his legs. He counted the number of legs on his left side and turned to look at his right. A question immediately appeared in his mind. ¡®Are there six-legged lizards in this world?¡¯ It was growing close to his back. Chen Kun racked his brains but could not think of any lizard that matched his image. What was certain was that it was definitely not deformed, because the two extra legs were very symmetrical. He turned to check carefully again, feeling even more puzzled. Chen Kun tried to control his newly grown limbs, but he did not expect the claw-like limbs to spread out! ¡®Wait!¡¯ At this moment, Chen Kun suddenly realized that the two limbs growing on his ribs were not limbs, but wings! His mind raced. Looking at his still-young wings, Chen Kun overturned his previous conclusion. He was not an ordinary stinky lizard. He seemed to be a dragon! It was the kind in Western fantasy! Although he had yet to grow, he could already see the form of a dragon in this image. At this moment, Chen Kun¡¯s broken heart successfully recovered a little. No matter what, he did not need to catch insects for the female lizard in the future. Moreover, with his species, he might be able to rule a small area in the future! With this fantasy in mind, Chen Kun¡¯s mood could be said to have changed greatly. Suddenly. He realized that he seemed to be able to see the scene outside clearly! Chen Kun blinked desperately, but suddenly saw a few beautiful faces that almost suffocated him pressed close to the egg. This scene frightened him so much that he subconsciously shivered. After all, he had been alone in this dark space for a long time. It was inevitable that he would not be able to adapt to suddenly seeing a few people. However, when he regained his senses, he suddenly felt that something was wrong. None of the beauties on Earth had pointy ears, right? Moreover, at such a close distance, according to his many years of experience looking at beauties in his previous life, he was sure that these beauties were all natural and not artificial. He was surrounded by so many beautiful women. To be honest, this was Chen Kun¡¯s lifelong wish in his previous life. He did not expect it to actually come true? ¡°Gather all the elves. I want to announce the fourth holy relic of the elves.¡± ¡°Yes, I¡¯ll do it immediately.¡± Listening to the conversation between the two beauties, Chen Kun suddenly understood. So he had transmigrated. From the looks of these beauties, they should be elves or something, because they had just mentioned elves. Coupled with his image, Chen Kun suddenly realized that he might have been reincarnated as a Western dragon! Such a huge amount of information stunned Chen Kun for a moment. Because there were many things he still hadn¡¯t figured out. But on second thought, he was already like this. What was there to figure out? ¡°Even if I can see these beauties every day, I¡¯ll be satisfied!¡± With this thought in mind, Chen Kun changed his posture and continued to look at the beauties in front of him. He wanted to try to communicate with the beauties outside, but he couldn¡¯t seem to get through. Not long after, Chen Kun saw the beauty who had given the order earlier come forward and pick him up. This should be the closest Chen Kun was to his life goal. If Chen Kun had a little brother, it was definitely impossible to resist that snow-white abyss. At this moment, more than a thousand elves had gathered in the Goddess Hall. Queen Galadriel also came to the platform with the egg. ¡°In the name of the Elven Goddess, I announce that this egg will become the fourth holy relic of the elves from now on!¡± Vieruodis and the other two, who were slightly ahead, bowed their heads respectfully. The elves behind them had no objection and knelt down in unison. Chen Kun, who was lying in his bag admiring the beautiful scenery, was stunned when he heard the beauty¡¯s words. He turned around and saw countless beauties kneeling below. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect me to transmigrate and become the big treasure of the elves. With that in mind.¡± ¡°I didn¡¯t come for nothing!¡± At the thought of his comfortable life in the future, Chen Kun was extremely happy. But then he suddenly noticed why he was rising. Galadriel, who had just announced the news, turned to see the golden egg slowly floating up. The elves below were also shocked by this scene. Why could the holy relic fly by itself? This scene caused many whispers. The three elders below were stunned. At this moment, Chen Kun had yet to react. He thought the other party had used some method. But then he noticed that the elves below were looking at him in surprise! ¡°This is troublesome!¡± At this moment, he suddenly realized that he had flown! To be honest, Chen Kun was a little flustered, even though he had become the fourth holy relic of the elves. Logically speaking, holy relics were the kind that lay obediently in a fixed location. Now, he suddenly displayed his talent in public. How could he explain this? It would be troublesome if he frightened those young ladies. Moreover, he could not explain this situation even if he wanted to. His voice could not be heard! ¡°Everyone, don¡¯t worry. When we studied this egg before, we could feel that it was alive.¡± ¡°And according to the observation just now, this egg seems to be about to hatch.¡± ¡°Coupled with the change that only happened after Her Majesty announced it just now, ¡°I think it¡¯s happy that it can become the fourth holy relic of the elves. That¡¯s why it flew on its own.¡± Below, Undine turned to explain to the other elves. When the elves heard that the life in the golden egg was about to break out, their faces revealed anticipation. Like Galadriel and the others, these elves had never seen the Elf Spring give birth to a species other than elves. Therefore, all the elves were very curious at this moment. If this egg hatched, what would the life inside be like? Chapter 18 - Growing Together A few years passed in the blink of an eye. Outside Jadeite City, the area affected by the Anti-Magic Stone had already recovered to a grassland. A little elf of about ten years old was flying happily across the grass, shouting. ¡°You can¡¯t catch me!¡± If one looked carefully at the elf¡¯s forehead, one could vaguely see a crescent mark. She was the High Elf named by the Queen a few years ago, Aurora. Behind her, a flying golden egg chased her closely. Although this was a little different from the elves, Slyph, who was following at the side, seemed to be used to it. This was because Undine had been doing a related extraction of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood recently. Coincidentally, it was Slyph¡¯s turn to protect the golden egg. She naturally became Aurora¡¯s ¡®bodyguard¡¯. Looking at the golden egg¡¯s cheerful expression, Slyph could not help but think of the past. Ever since the golden egg flew in front of all the elves, after many encounters, Slyph and the others had discovered something surprising. That was, this golden egg had its own consciousness. Although special existences like the golden egg rarely appeared in the elves in the past, some more conservative elves could not accept it, such as Gwen. However, it was the Elf Queen who gave the order at that time, and no one dared to disobey the Elven Goddess. Most importantly, countless elves had witnessed the golden egg devouring the Anti-Magic Stone. Although at first, Gwen and the others still did not like this golden egg much. But in the end, they gradually accepted it. However, after that day, the golden egg fell into a deep sleep again. This time, it took a little longer. Half a month later, the golden egg woke up. This time, the golden egg was even more energetic than before. It even leaned into Queen Galadriel¡¯s arms like a child wheedling. Then, it strolled around the Goddess Hall and the entire Jadeite City. The elves did not reject it. Instead, they welcomed the golden egg. After all, this was the future hope of the elves. Galadriel did not restrict the golden egg¡¯s freedom. She knew very well that the liveliness of the golden egg meant that the creature inside must have extraordinary intelligence. Therefore, when the golden egg fell into a deep sleep for the second time, Galadriel immediately changed an Elf Act. The golden egg was permitted to move freely in the territory of the elves. Of course, this was the fourth holy relic of the elves. It was definitely impossible to release it like a kitten or dog. Therefore, Galadriel and the other three elders voluntarily became Golden Egg¡¯s personal bodyguards. During this period, Chen Kun gradually understood some information and laws of this world. The elves were only one of the forces on this continent, and their settings were different from many books. The elves here had already passed their peak and were not in a good situation. The frequent harassment of humans made the Dark Elves restless. Furthermore, the elves had still not recovered from the battle 350 years ago. If not for the natural barrier of the Golden Forest, the elves would definitely not be living so comfortably. He was completely treated as the only hope of the elves¡¯ revival. Although he was not sure if he was the hope of the elves, that was what the sexy, mature big sister called Vieruodis had said. Therefore, he knew his status among the elves. Even though he had a free identity among the elves, every time he wanted to go out, he had to find the elder or Galadriel who was responsible for taking care of him. One had to know that these elves were all demigod experts and were existences at the peak of this continent. With such a big shot protecting him, the sense of security was maxed out! While Chen Kun gradually learned about this world, a new future rose for the elves. Aurora was a Moonlight High Elf because her innate bloodline was special. Therefore, in less than five years, her body grew to the level of an ordinary ten-year-old. Moreover, the magic power in her body had already reached the level of an Intermediate Magister. Moreover, Aurora could use magic one level higher than her own with the help of the moonlight. This meant that the future Aurora only had to reach the level of a Saint Magister. Then, she could use Forbidden Spells that only demigods could use at will! Although there were still some restrictions, this was already something most elves could only hope for. It was also because of her identity and outstanding talent that as long as she finished learning magic, she could play with the golden egg at will. ¡°I learned a lot of magic today. Do you want me to perform it for you?¡± Aurora lay panting in the grass, the golden egg floating to the side. Perhaps she was used to it, but before the golden egg could respond, Aurora had already begun to cast her magic. ¡°Let me tell you, this spell is called the Elf Sword, but I think it¡¯s just the name.¡± As she explained, an elf sword made of magic appeared in Aurora¡¯s hand. Then, she suddenly slashed down with the Elf Sword in front of the golden egg. Perhaps dissatisfied with the power, a smirk suddenly appeared on her face. ¡°Cute Eggy, this isn¡¯t very powerful anyway. Why don¡¯t you¡ª¡± When Chen Kun heard this, he decisively left. Aurora had been like a little lunatic for the past few years. It was fine under normal circumstances, but once she learned any powerful magic, she would definitely use him to experiment. Although Aurora had been stopped by the elders in the beginning, one day, that crazy woman called Undine was responsible for leading him¡ From then on, it was as if Aurora had been opened to a new world. On the grass, an elf and an egg changed their identities as hunters and prey. Slyph saw this from above, a smile on her lips. Suddenly, she looked into the distance. ¡°Elder, Her Majesty asked me to send a message to you!¡± Elf Envoy Morwenna bow her head, then unfurled a magic projection. Below, Aurora was still chasing the golden egg when a figure blocked her. ¡°Let¡¯s not play today. Let¡¯s go back and rest.¡± Aurora was about to discuss it when she noticed Slyph¡¯s serious expression. ¡°What happened, Sister Elder?¡± ¡°It¡¯s nothing serious. It¡¯s just that the Human Empire sent an envoy. These guys have never been well-behaved.¡± ¡°Although they said they came in good faith today, it¡¯s difficult to guarantee that they won¡¯t use any methods.¡± ¡°So we¡¯d better go back early today.¡± ¡°Otherwise, if they see it, they might have some crooked thoughts.¡± After hearing Slyph¡¯s explanation, the Elven Holy Sword in Aurora¡¯s hand instantly dissolved. ¡°Okay, then. I¡¯ll go back with Eggy.¡± Saying yes, Aurora ran forward and hugged the golden egg. Chen Kun lay comfortably in the eggshell. He could not understand. It was mainly because humans had done a lot of disgusting things in the past two years. Although he had been human before, to be honest, he couldn¡¯t stand it. The reason they suddenly sent an envoy over today was probably to form an alliance. However, if Chen Kun was right, Galadriel would not agree. Chapter 19 - Visit from the Golden Seal Empire In the Goddess Hall. Three gold-inlaid flags stood in the hall. Each flag had a lion pattern inlaid with gems. However, it was Undine who was sitting at the conference table. A scene like this should have been Slyph¡¯s doing, but she had to take care of Golden Egg and Aurora today. ¡°I think my answer is clear. You should remember the way out. Help yourself.¡± Undine did not want to interact much with humans, but at this moment, the leader of the other party¡¯s envoy, Great Magister Lester, suddenly spoke. ¡°It¡¯s fine not to form an alliance, but I want the elves to make a promise.¡± ¡°You won¡¯t participate in any subsequent human conflicts!¡± With that, the few Great Magisters beside him stood up. But at this moment, a rude voice came from behind. ¡°The elves don¡¯t owe anything to humans. Why promise such a ridiculous oath?¡± Gwen instantly flew behind Lester and the others. She threw a pile of smoking items on the table. ¡°I¡ I just don¡¯t want elves interfering in human affairs. I¡ª¡± ¡°I found this in the area you passed. You don¡¯t think I didn¡¯t notice you hiding two Saint Magisters, do you?¡± ¡°A mere Level 7 spell. Humans really overestimate themselves!¡± The three flags in the air of the hall suddenly burst into flames. In a few breaths, there were only three bare flagpoles left. ¡°Leave in five minutes. Pretend you never came.¡± Undine obviously lost her patience. She could almost see flames flowing between her palms. ¡°Don¡¯t get me wrong. We might have accidentally left it on the way here!¡± Seeing that his plan had been exposed, Lester quickly explained, afraid that Undine would pursue the matter. Then, he hurriedly greeted them and left with the rest of the diplomat group. ¡°Humans are indeed the greediest creatures. Dwarves can¡¯t compare sometimes. Go and keep an eye on them.¡± Undine said something and Gwen turned to follow her out. Then, Undine came to Galadriel¡¯s bedroom. ¡°Your Majesty, I¡¯ve sent the diplomatic mission of the Golden Seal Empire back.¡± ¡°They pretended to have accidentally abandoned some items with arrays on the way here and were discovered by Gwen.¡± The door opened slowly and Galadriel stepped out. ¡°What¡¯s their purpose?¡± ¡°An alliance, but definitely not to defend the Abyss. Over the years, according to external intelligence, the Golden Seal Empire has been trying to invade and expand.¡± ¡°That¡¯s why they¡¯ve made a lot of enemies. There¡¯s no benefit in forming an alliance with such an empire.¡± ¡°Moreover, we don¡¯t have too many resources to consume at the moment. If other forces come looking for us, it¡¯ll be quite a problem.¡± Galadriel smiled at Undine. ¡°Not bad. Our current situation is indeed not suitable to be mixed up with any faction.¡± ¡°If they find out about the internal problems of the elves, this might become someone else¡¯s weakness in the future.¡± Galadriel came to the balcony and looked in the direction where the Golden Seal Empire had left. ¡°Has Slyph been informed?¡± ¡°I contacted her in advance when I went to see the envoy of the Golden Seal Empire. I should be back soon.¡± Hearing the answer, Galadriel seemed to remember something. ¡°By the way, how¡¯s the refinement of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood?¡± Undine stepped forward and said, ¡°The materials have been collected and most of the extraction is done. It will probably be completed in a few days.¡± ¡°It¡¯s been hard on you. You have to refine the Philosopher¡¯s Blood and worry about the elves.¡± ¡°Rest well when this is over. Consider it a vacation.¡± Galadriel turned around, her smile warm in the sunlight. ¡°Sister Elder, are those humans bad?¡± Aurora followed Slyph, the golden egg in her arms. ¡°How can I put it? Human intelligence is commendable, but very few people can put this ability on the right track.¡± ¡°Most humans will yearn for more after obtaining all their strength and money.¡± ¡°The diplomat group this time is from the Golden Seal Empire in the east. They haven¡¯t been very honest in the past few years.¡± Slyph¡¯s words revealed her rejection of the Golden Seal Empire. That wasn¡¯t surprising. The Golden Seal Empire was located 500 kilometers east of the Golden Forest. It was one of the three powerful countries on the Dolan Continent. This country was relatively economically developed because it was close to the coast. In the early years, he had made some transactions with the elves. However, later on, the new king of the Golden Seal Empire issued a new policy, and cooperation between the two sides stopped. It was also because of the developed economic trade that a large number of outstanding magisters and alchemists were born in the Golden Seal Empire. This also provided a powerful combat power resource for the later expansion of the Golden Seal Empire. Such actions would naturally not be welcomed by the peace-loving elves. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect to meet the famous Elder Slyph here!¡± Slyph had just stepped into a path when Lester¡¯s voice came from the main road. She naturally couldn¡¯t be bothered to deal with such an obviously ill-intentioned pickup, but Aurora stopped curiously. Lester quickened his pace when he saw this. Slyph had pulled Aurora behind her. The group of dozens arrived in front of Slyph in a majestic manner. Lester spoke with a smile. ¡°I thought I would meet you. I didn¡¯t expect it to be Elder Undine.¡± With that, Lester¡¯s gaze stopped on Aurora. ¡°As a governing elder, you were actually sent to lead a newly-born elf?¡± Slyph looked impatient at the provocative words. ¡°If there¡¯s nothing else, hurry back and prepare to invade other countries. Put away this low-level provocation.¡± Lester looked embarrassed. Even the diplomat group behind him couldn¡¯t stand it. Chen Kun, who was in the egg, felt it a little and had a certain understanding of the strength of the Golden Seal Empire¡¯s diplomatic mission. Without a doubt, the strength of the Golden Seal Empire lived up to its reputation. If there were Saint Magisters in other countries, they would be treated as treasures. However, there were two Saint Magisters in the dozens of people in front of him alone. Although the others were not that strong, they were basically all advanced or even Great Magisters. Slyph left with Aurora, leaving Lester standing awkwardly. But when Slyph disappeared, the embarrassment on his face suddenly returned to normal. Then he continued to lead the team forward. He had just clearly seen the elf holding an egg. The elves never took the descendants of other creatures. It was necessary to investigate the origin of this egg when he returned. Chapter 20 - Excited Heart, Trembling Chapter 20 Excited Heart, Trembling Egg! Lester led the way into the dense jungle ahead. Galadriel stood on the observation deck and watched Lester and the others leave. After a long time, she turned and left the observation deck. Although Gwen was following, it was not a bad thing to be warier of humans. When Galadriel came down from the observation deck, she saw Slyph returning with the golden egg and Aurora. ¡°Your Majesty, the holy relic has been safely brought back.¡± As soon as she saw the egg in Slyph¡¯s hand, Galadriel immediately smiled and went forward to take it. ¡°It¡¯s been hard on you.¡± Sensing the abundant life force in the golden egg, she looked at Aurora again. ¡°How¡¯s your magic learning, little guy?¡± ¡°I learned this month¡¯s class early, so Elder Sister Undine gave me a break.¡± ¡°It¡¯s difficult for Undine to be so tolerant of a person, but even so, you have to work hard.¡± Aurora spoke seriously to Galadriel¡¯s encouragement. ¡°Your Majesty, don¡¯t worry. I¡¯ll try to learn Level 9 magic before the end of this year!¡± ¡°Pfft!¡± Slyph couldn¡¯t help but laugh. Galadriel smiled knowingly. ¡°I¡¯m serious. I¡¯ll definitely be able to master Level 9 magic this year, but when the time comes¡¡± Aurora paused for a moment, then continued. ¡°If I do, I hope Her Majesty will allow me to go out and take a look!¡± ¡°Good. If you can master a Level 9 magic by the end of the year, I¡¯ll allow you to go out.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll also give you a special wand.¡± Slyph added. Although elves were strictly forbidden to go out now, even elders like Slyph were not allowed to go out except on missions. However, Aurora still underestimated the difficulty of Level 9 magic. One had to know that even Queen Galadriel was decades older than the current Aurora when she mastered Level 9 magic. On the other hand, if Aurora could do it, it proved that she had the potential to become the next Elven Queen. When the time came, she would fulfill her promise and let her out. She would definitely be accompanied by three demigod-level elders. At this moment, Slyph spoke again. ¡°By the way, Your Majesty, we encountered a diplomatic mission from the Golden Seal Empire on the way back.¡± ¡°I have a feeling these guys are up to something big.¡± ¡°Just let them be. I¡¯ve already informed Gwen and Undine. The patrol will be strengthened for the next few days.¡± Although it was impossible for the Golden Seal Empire to threaten the elves on the surface, However, the elves suffered a lot because of them. For example, the Level 7 spell that Gwen had discovered earlier would take form after absorbing moonlight. Immediately after, the array would activate and transfer the surrounding magical items out. In the past, Galadriel might have chosen to turn a blind eye. In the current elves¡ Weighing the golden egg in her hand, Galadriel spoke urgently. ¡°The Philosopher¡¯s Blood is about to be cultivated. When the time comes, we might be able to try to hatch you.¡± The golden egg trembled slightly, as if in response. Slyph and Aurora were looking forward to it, because years had passed and they still had no idea what creature was in here. In comparison, Chen Kun, who was in the egg, was even more excited. In the past few years, he had finally understood his current situation. If he wanted to hatch, he had to devour enough magic power. Although the magic power in the Golden Forest was much richer than in the outside world, it was really not enough for him. Undine had also used some magical alchemy potion on him, the effect was never good. However, perhaps because he was too excited, Chen Kun suddenly felt a little sleepy. After these few years, he was quite familiar with this phenomenon, so he fell unceremoniously into Galadriel¡¯s arms. She knew what was going on after seeing this. After giving Slyph some instructions, she carried the golden egg back to the bedroom. Chen Kun slept for a few days. When he stretched and opened his eyes in satisfaction, he saw a pair of lumps. ¡°Sigh, I wonder if my reproductive organs will be there after breaking out of the shell.¡± Chen Kun noticed that this was Undine¡¯s room. Galadriel was standing in the room with him in her arms. Just as he was puzzled, a powerful magic power came from the alchemy room inside! The scales on the eggshell¡¯s surface unfurled at this moment, and the magic power that spread near the eggshell was instantly absorbed by the scales. After all, after living in the egg for a few years, Chen Kun had more or less grasped some basic usage. ¡°The density of this magic power is a little extraordinary!¡± Chen Kun sighed in his heart. A moment later, he suddenly thought of something. Could Undine be refining the Philosopher¡¯s Blood? Galadriel clearly felt the golden egg tremble. She patted the eggshell gently. ¡°Don¡¯t be anxious. Refinement is very troublesome, right?¡± At that moment, the door opened and a chaotic wave of magic surged out. The scales on the golden egg¡¯s surface unfurled again, but the magic was blocked by Galadriel. She did not dare to let the golden egg casually absorb this magic of unknown origin. Then Undine came out of the room, clothes completely shredded by the surging her magic. Looking at the blood flowing from the corner of her mouth, it was obvious that the refinement was not as smooth as last time. Galadriel¡¯s heart tightened when she saw her. Had it failed? ¡°I thought that extra refinement would just waste more time. I didn¡¯t expect the reaction to be so big. Ahem¡¡± Undine coughed as she came to Galadriel. She raised the bottle and stared at the red liquid. Galadriel sounded excited. ¡°Oh, the blessing of the Elven Goddess! You actually succeeded!¡± ¡°Fortunately, I didn¡¯t disappoint.¡± The place where Chen Kun was could be said to be the best viewing location. But at this moment, he was looking forward to the full bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood! Even through the bottle and the thick eggshell, Chen Kun could feel the thick magic of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. It had been three to four years! Chen Kun had waited for three to four years before finally obtaining the Philosopher¡¯s Blood! ¡°I wonder how much I can improve after devouring such a big bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood.¡± ¡°If only I can break out of the shell.¡± Chen Kun thought that although he could already move freely, there were still many restrictions. For example, no matter which beauty he ran into, he could only watch and not even touch her! This feeling was even worse than killing him! Most importantly, after leaving this eggshell, he could obtain true freedom! Chapter 21 - Looking Forward Chapter 21 Looking Forward A tender green new bud slowly emerged from under the withered trunk of the Ancient Elven Tree. The elves passing by seemed to be used to this scene. In the past, the elves would probably have run to Galadriel in shock. Ever since Undine healed the Ancient Elven Tree with the aura released by the golden egg, The blackened necrotic area on the tree trunk completely faded in less than a year. Then, the Ancient Elven Tree began to regenerate at a very slow speed. Almost every day, new buds appeared on the Ancient Elven Tree. The recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree also brought new life to the entire Golden Forest. Some extinct animals began to appear! The plants that had been declared extinct by the rangers were also found one day in the grass or under trees. The entire Golden Forest gradually recovered from the dead silence that had lasted hundreds of years. Even the diluted special magic power in the Golden Forest was replenished! The elves living in the Golden Forest naturally felt such an obvious change. However, the elves did not know why the Ancient Elven Tree had improved. They all believed that Galadriel had contributed to this. By now, part of the Ancient Elven Tree had grown green. Although it was not worth mentioning compared to the size of the entire Ancient Elven Tree, all the elves knew that this represented hope! At that moment, Galadriel and the three elders arrived under the Ancient Elven Tree. Looking up at the ancient tree, the few of them could not help but feel a little excited. Today, he might be able to completely revive the Ancient Elven Tree! The few of them were not in a hurry. Instead, they closed their eyes and quietly felt the vitality of the Ancient Elven Tree. A few minutes later, Gwen appeared not far away. ¡°Your Majesty, the seventeen elf envoys are in position. The Jadeite City is completely under our surveillance.¡± With that, Gwen left quickly. The elves who had been suddenly summoned were now fully armed and guarding the surroundings of Jadeite City. Other than Gwen, no one present knew why martial law had suddenly been imposed. Each of their positions was connected, forming an array pattern. As the final Gwen came to the designated spot, all the elves erupted with magic. The entire Jadeite City formed a solid magic shield from top to bottom. Under the ancient tree, Galadriel opened her eyes. Then she held the golden egg reverently and came under the Ancient Elven Tree. Undine joins in. When she opens the bottle, the golden egg trembles again. As the first drop of Philosopher¡¯s Blood landed on the eggshell, the scales on the surface of the golden egg immediately relaxed a lot. A moment later, the scales also emitted specks of light, but that was all. ¡°How is this enough?!¡± Chen Kun complained. Galadriel and the others saw that the golden egg was trembling very violently. It looked like it couldn¡¯t wait to drink from the bottle. Immediately, they understood. No wonder the Philosopher¡¯s Blood that had just dripped on the egg did not react. This was not a few years ago. After the golden egg absorbed the Anti-Magic Stone and many medicinal liquids containing magic power, its appetite must have grown a lot. ¡°Why don¡¯t¡ we pour it all in?¡± Undine¡¯s words immediately drew an eye roll from Slyph. ¡°How can you make such a joke? I¡¯m afraid even the Queen can¡¯t withstand the magic power contained in this bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood.¡± ¡°Our goal is not only to heal the ancient tree but to hatch this egg. Undine smacks her lips in embarrassment. Actually, if she¡¯d been the one operating, she probably would have done so, even if she knew there was a risk. This was because the essence of an alchemist was to be a gambler with a theoretical basis. ¡°Let me try pouring a third first and see how it works.¡± With that, a large pool of Philosopher¡¯s Blood appeared in the air and covered the eggshell. Seeing that the golden egg wasn¡¯t reacting very much, Galadriel gritted her teeth and poured all the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. The golden egg was completely enveloped by the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. A moment later, the scales on the surface of the golden egg greedily absorbed all the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. ¡°Knock, knock!¡± A soul-piercing heartbeat came from the golden egg. Before they could recover, another strong heartbeat followed. Sensing the golden egg¡¯s terrifying vitality, for some reason, Galadriel thought of the Elven Goddess. The three elders behind her could not hide their shock at this moment. Everyone¡¯s expressions were a little out of control. ¡°This vitality is simply comparable to the Ancient Elven Tree back then!¡± ¡°I can¡¯t believe it. The Ancient Elven Tree has grown for thousands of years. Only a few years have passed since this egg appeared!¡± At this moment, the scales on the surface of the golden egg seemed to come alive, accompanied by flowing runes. The scales actually flowed along the surface of the golden egg. One could vaguely feel a disdainful aura. At this moment, Galadriel and the others were even more certain that the creature in the egg was definitely not ordinary. Because even they felt an inexplicable pressure. Suddenly, the golden egg expanded a lot without warning. Then, a large amount of cool aura surged out from the cracks of the scales. At the front, Galadriel only touched it for a moment before feeling the magic power in her body burning! She stepped back quickly. She didn¡¯t want to waste any of it on herself at such a critical moment. As the cool aura surged into the Ancient Elven Tree, there was a crisp crack from the trunk. Immediately after, like spring bamboo shoots after rain, countless young sprouts squeezed out of the withered body of the ancient tree. The branches that were already growing well seemed to have been cast with an acceleration spell. In a few breaths, an arm-thick tree fork appeared in front of Galadriel! Every leaf on it was filled with abundant vitality! Although they had expected this, they could not help but look excited to see it with their own eyes. Outside, the elves did not know what had happened. However, at this moment, they were especially happy, as if they had returned to playing under the ancient tree. Under the ancient tree, the happy Galadriel and the others turned their gazes to the golden egg. They could not forget their contributions. However, they realized that the golden egg had shrunk back. There was not even a crack on the eggshell. ¡°It still hasn¡¯t broken out?¡± Galadriel went forward and picked up the egg. She could feel the life inside go dormant again. In fact, Chen Kun had fallen into a deep sleep the second time he accepted the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. He did not expect the magic power contained in the Philosopher¡¯s Blood to be so vast. His body began to absorb greedily as it came into contact with the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. He also began to grow slowly with the injection of huge magic power. As for what was happening outside, he had no idea. By the third day. Chen Kun, who had slept his fill, opened his eyes in satisfaction. But when he was about to find the beautiful sister, he was depressed to find that he didn¡¯t seem to have hatched. He was actually still in the shell! Chapter 22 - Galadriels Decision Chapter 22 Galadriel¡¯s Decision ¡°Looks like the road to breaking out of the shell is still very far away!¡± Chen Kun was in a bad mood. It was mainly because at first he had never thought that this shell break would fail. One had to know that that was an entire bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood! Fortunately, Chen Kun had adapted a lot to this life in the past few years. After being disappointed, he quickly composed himself. He couldn¡¯t absorb so much magic without changing at all, right? Chen Kun lowered his head to check his body and realized that he had indeed grown a lot compared to before. The wings on his back were close to taking shape. They still looked a little like the might of a dragon in Western mythology. Some of the scales on the surface of his body had already grown out. When he touched them with his claws, the firm touch was like steel. This time, he had absorbed an entire bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood to make his body grow so little. Chen Kun roughly pondered for a moment. He might still be far from hatching. After all, the refinement of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was not so easy, and collecting materials was a big problem. ¡°Your Majesty, will Eggy be okay?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t worry, it¡¯s only in a deep sleep. Perhaps it¡¯ll break out of its shell when it wakes up again.¡± Galadriel comforted Aurora, but it was obvious that Aurora¡¯s eyes were red. Beside them were the three elders. At this moment, the few of them were all guarding the golden egg. Ever since the golden egg absorbed the Philosopher¡¯s Blood the day before yesterday, there had been no movement. Aurora, who knew this news, almost cried because, in the past, the Golden Egg would only rest for a day at most. It was not easy for Galadriel and the others to calm Aurora down. In fact, the few of them were also a little anxious at this moment. Galadriel even regretted her rashness at that time. She really couldn¡¯t imagine how she would answer to the elves if something happened to the golden egg. ¡°Eggy, you have to hatch quickly. When the time comes, I¡¯m going to take you to eat all kinds of delicacies.¡± Aurora¡¯s small hand gently stroked the eggshell. There was still a hint of encouragement in her tone. Seeing that the beautiful elves were so worried about him, Chen Kun decided to respond first. The scales on the surface of the golden egg flickered, then slowly floated up. This scene finally calmed Galadriel and the others down. The golden egg flew around the few of them as if telling them that it was fine. Aurora shook off the unhappiness and quickly ran after the golden egg. ¡°Eggy, you¡¯re finally awake!¡± Looking at the golden egg and Aurora chasing each other, Galadriel and the others smiled. But a moment later, Galadriel turned to look at them. They all saw what was in Galadriel¡¯s eyes. Next, they still had to find items with rich magic power for the golden egg to absorb. However, this made things a little difficult for them. The Philosopher¡¯s Blood should be the item. with the densest magic power that the elves could create. However, the golden egg did not show any signs of hatching after absorbing a full bottle. Putting aside the difficulty of collecting the Philosopher¡¯s Blood, the materials needed to refine the blood were very rare. In order to obtain these materials, the elves had to pay a huge price. The current elves could not withstand the consumption of energy. ¡°I¡¯ll to barely gather the refinement materials.¡± Undine considers speaking, but the others know that the words are forced. go out again sometime. I should be able ¡°The importance of the golden egg to the elves is self-evident.¡± ¡°I think everyone has seen the recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree, so no matter what, we have to help the golden egg hatch.¡± ¡°Because it¡¯s our only hope for the elven revival.¡± At this point, Galadriel¡¯s eyes seemed to have made up her mind. ¡°Your Majesty, I support any decision you make, but little Aurora hasn¡¯t had class in two days.¡± Vieruodis stepped forward now and spoke. Galadriel nodded. Then, she walked forward and called out to Aurora, who was playing with the golden egg. ¡°Since your good friend has woken up, shouldn¡¯t you come to class with me?¡± ¡°Okay, but I want Eggy with me!¡± ¡°No problem.¡± Vieruodis left with Aurora, and Slyph left immediately because of her government affairs. Undine and Galadriel were left alone in the room. ¡°I really don¡¯t know what creature is in the golden egg. The magic power of that bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood is already more than half of my magic power.¡¯ ¡°But it absorbed it as if nothing had happened.¡± Galadriel couldn¡¯t help but sigh. Sometimes, even obtaining a treasure seemed troublesome. ¡°Your Majesty, don¡¯t worry. I¡¯ll think of a way to collect the materials for the Philosopher¡¯s Blood.¡± But when she heard Undine say that, Galadriel couldn¡¯t help but roll her eyes. ¡°You know what I want to say. Undine chuckled. ¡°My attitude is very clear, even though the other two holy relics are also very important to the elves.¡± ¡°But as long as the Ancient Elven Tree recovers, those holy relics can be recovered and regenerated.¡± ¡°Moreover, we don¡¯t know when that crisis will come. It will take a year for the Great Elder to recover.¡± ¡°The golden egg is arguably our only hope.¡± Galadriel¡¯s hesitant heart hardened at Undine¡¯s words. As the leader of the elves, she had too much to consider, so there were many things she couldn¡¯t make decisions about at all. Actually, she had been thinking about this two years ago, but the Elf Dew and the Golden Lake were the elves¡¯ last life-saving methods. It could be said that she would not decide to use it unless there was a crisis of extinction. But the appearance of the golden egg shook her thoughts. She saw too many possibilities in the golden egg. This possibility was worth betting on with the trump cards of the elves! ¡°Today, I¡¯m learning natural magic.¡± ¡°Although you¡¯ve secretly learned some, you still have to listen to class. Otherwise, I¡¯ll punish you and not let you play with Eggy.¡± Vieruodis¡¯s voice was soft, and Aurora nodded like a chicken pecking at rice. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, Big Elder Sister. I¡¯ll definitely listen attentively!¡± In her heart, Eggy was the most important. Soon, Aurora arrived at the classroom. At this moment, dozens of elves were sitting in the classroom. The moment they saw Aurora standing at the door, all the elves greeted her. ¡°Aurora, I heard that you¡¯ve already secretly learned sealing magic?¡± ¡°Can you show us?¡± ¡°Wow, you actually brought the holy relic! Can I touch it?¡± One of the elves noticed the floating balls beside Aurora and its eyes lit up. One after another, the other elves also discovered the golden egg that had followed Aurora. All the elves surrounded it as if they had seen a treasure. Chapter 23 - Astonishing Magic Talent! Chapter 23 Astonishing Magic Talent! Chen Kun had wanted to hide behind Aurora but there was no need to since he had been exposed. Looking at the sinful little hands, Chen Kun had a headache. He could not help but think of his past as an elf holy relic being kicked like a ball by these little ladies¡ Fortunately, his eggshell was hard enough. Otherwise, he would probably have given birth prematurely! As he was thinking, an elf that had barely reached the advanced level flapped its small wings and actually lay on him! He wanted to escape, but he was already surrounded. ¡°You¡¯re bullying Eggy again.¡± The elf lying on the golden egg quickly climbed down. Vieruodis appeared in the doorway. The other elves hurried back to their seats, and Aurora sat down with the golden egg in her arms. It was obvious that every elf looked like they had eaten a bitter gourd the moment they saw Vieruodis. This scene made Chen Kun, who was in the egg, sigh. It turned out that elves from other worlds could not avoid being forced to study! ¡°Little fellows, what I want to tell you today is the talent of our elves.¡± As she spoke, a stream of water actually appeared between her fingers. ¡°Wow!¡± The little elves below gaped in shock, including Aurora. Then the water dissipated into the air and Vieruodis began to explain. ¡°We are pure spirits born of nature, so we can naturally resonate with the elements on the continent¡¡± It had to be said that Vieruodis was a very competent teacher. She spent a full hour telling them about the origins of natural magic and how it was used. All the elves listened with interest during this period. This was also a characteristic of the elves. When learning new knowledge, they would remain very focused. Of course, Chen Kun was not idle in the egg. After all, he would hatch sooner or later. He might as well take this time to learn something. At this moment, he felt a faint light on his left and turned to look. Aurora was surrounded by shimmering particles. They were not blinding and bounced happily on her skin as if they were small lives. ¡°Good lord, Aurora can condense moonlight during the day?¡± At this moment, the faint light particles around Aurora were moonlight energy. Because she was a Moonlight Elf, she could resonate with the light elements. Other than her, the other elves in the class were still empty. All the elves looked at her enviously, but at this moment, a slight wind appeared beside one of the elves. This was the Wind Elf that had climbed onto Chen Kun¡¯s head previously. Perhaps because of her attributes, the resonance she could trigger was not obvious. But this was already very impressive in class. After a while, the other elves also resonated with the corresponding elements. Although they could also attract many elemental particles, they were clearly a little shabby compared to the current Aurora. At this moment, Aurora had completely turned into a small figure of light, her body completely covered in moonlight energy. ¡°Alright, looks like everyone can feel a natural energy. Next, I¡¯ll repeat how to use it for everyone. As soon as Vieruodis spoke, the elemental particles on all the elves instantly dissipated. Then she gave the little elves a simple demonstration. The entire step could be said to have been slowed down countless times by her. From triggering elemental particles to elemental condensation, and finally forming magic to release. As a result, just as Vieruodis finished her demonstration, a round shield made of moonlight energy appeared in front of Aurora. The Elven Round Shield was a defensive skill that all elves knew, but Aurora successfully used it in one go. This immediately attracted the cheers of the other elves. Chen Kun was already used to such phenomena. After all, Aurora¡¯s talent was well-known. Since he was bored, Chen Kun tried to imitate it. Although he had no hands, he had claws. In the next moment, a wave spread out in front of the golden egg. All the elves were immediately distracted, and Vieruodis was stunned. A few runes spread out in front of the golden egg, and the runes quickly formed an array formation. A golden round shield appeared in front of the golden egg! ¡°Wow, Eggy, you¡¯re so powerful!¡± Beside him, Aurora¡¯s eyes were filled with stars. She was like a little fangirl. The other elves were also tempted to surround her. ¡°Ahem, little fellows, you have to use it successfully before you can rest.¡± Vieruodis reminded them, and the elves immediately exerted all their strength to sense the elemental energy. Looking at the faint runes around the golden round shield, Vieruodis guessed that it had at least reached the extent of a Level 7 spell. The most intuitive judgment of spells of different levels was the form they displayed, such as Aurora¡¯s Elven Round Shield. It was already very exquisite, but there were no runes around it at all. The round shield she used had reached the level of a Level 4 spell. Except there was something about it that shocked her. Aurora was a High Elf so she could cast magic so quickly. However, this egg had not hatched at all, but it could easily cast Level 7 magic! Moreover, it was using elven magic! If not for the fact that she was in class now, she would definitely go up and study it before telling Galadriel. This was because although they knew that there was a magical creature in the golden egg previously, they had never known that it could learn magic so quickly! At this moment, the little elves below also completed the release of the Elven Round Shield. Other than the fact that they were a little rough, most of them had reached the level of Level 2 magic. Vieruodis quickly adjusted and guided the elves before starting the next magic lesson. She wanted to know how far the golden egg could learn. However, the golden egg was the first to learn the magic taught by Vieruodis. Moreover, the strength of the magic it used had reached Level 7! The golden egg, as the protagonist, also became a thorn in the eyes of the elves. All the elves¡¯ eyes flickered with admiration as they looked at the golden egg. However, in Chen Kun¡¯s opinion, the owners of these eyes were all ¡°little demons¡±! They must be thinking of some kind of idea. At the thought that he might be ravaged by these little ancestors after class, Chen Kun felt a little hopeless. ¡°Alright, that¡¯s all for today¡¯s class. Kids, you can go out and play!¡± As soon as Vieruodis finished speaking, all the elves cheered and ran towards the golden egg, but when they ran over, they realized that the golden egg was gone. Following Aurora¡¯s aggrieved gaze, they saw that Vieruodis had already gone out with the golden egg. ¡°Thank God. I don¡¯t want to be kicked like a ball again.¡± Chapter 24 - The Queens Arrival Chapter 24 The Queen¡¯s Arrival ¡°Kids, you have to learn all the magic taught to you today. I¡¯ll check them one by one tomorrow.¡± Before leaving, Vieruodis instructed. Vieruodis returned to the Jadeite City with the golden egg. After learning from the guard where Galadriel had gone, she immediately headed for the Elven Library. It had been a few years, but Galadriel still occasionally came to check the encyclopedia here. She had always been extremely curious about the creature in the egg. Vieruodis pushed open the door and saw Galadriel reading a book. She immediately went over. ¡°Your Majesty, there¡¯s something good I want to reveal to you.¡± Galadriel stopped flipping the pages and saw that Vieruodis had deliberately placed the golden egg in front of her. She vaguely guessed something. ¡°When I taught natural magic in class today, the golden egg actually learned how to use it in an instant.¡± ¡°The magic it used has reached Level 7!¡± The two simple sentences filled Galadriel¡¯s eyes with surprise. She looked at the golden egg in front of her in disbelief. It swayed as if showing off. ¡°Nature magic is elf magic. How did it learn it?¡± ¡°I¡¯m not sure. After that, I taught some other elf magic too.¡± ¡°It can learn and use it in the fastest time possible. You can even vaguely see magic runes on the last spell it cast!¡± Galadriel placed her slender hands gently on the golden egg. Her eyes were filled with joy as she felt the leaping life force. This was undoubtedly a big surprise! Since ancient times, no creature other than the elves had been able to learn and use magic. However, this golden egg broke the common understanding of Galadriel and the entire elves! After some thought, Galadriel made a decision. ¡°Sister, continue teaching it magic. I want to see what height it can reach.¡± As soon as she finished speaking, the golden egg trembled again, as if in agreement. Seeing this, Vieruodis agreed without hesitation. ¡°No problem. I¡¯ll bring it with me for every next class.¡± Chen Kun, who was lying in the egg, was overjoyed. He had finally found a way to pass the time. After waiting a few years, he was bored to death, although he had been very enthusiastic about chasing the elves at first. However, he could not eat or touch anything. Anyone would get bored after a few years of doing nothing. Most importantly, how much magic he could cast in this world was related to his survival ability. Who would dare to provoke a dragon who could use all kinds of magic? However, because the elders and Galadriel were still busy, they could not give Chen Kun special treatment alone. At night, perhaps because he had used a lot of magic during the day, Chen Kun also felt sleepy. He was swaying as he prepared to fly to Vieruodis¡¯s residence, but as soon as he reached the door of Vieruodis¡¯s room, he was hugged. ¡°Her Majesty said that Eggy can sleep with me today!¡± The happy Aurora carried the golden egg into Vieruodis¡¯s room. Before Chen Kun could react, Aurora stuffed him under the blanket. Then Aurora crawled in too. She hugged Chen Kun like an octopus and kissed him several times. At this moment, Chen Kun, who had just regained his senses, was a little surprised because Galadriel would never allow him to spend the night with other elves. The egg had been moving back and forth between the three elders and her bedroom. Although they had a specific place to place it, this was the holy relic of the elves. Galadriel and the others would never refuse its entry. The next day. When Aurora arrived at the classroom with the golden egg, she suddenly realized that Queen Galadriel was there! The classroom was abnormally quiet. Although Galadriel was smiling, the little elves below were all abnormally obedient. Aurora snuck into her seat with the golden egg. Galadriel noticed. ¡°Little fellows, our beloved Elf Queen will be in charge of teaching magic today. I hope everyone works hard!¡± Vieruodis spoke from the front. The little elves below were shocked to hear this. Her Majesty was personally teaching them¡ They had never dared to think of such a thing in the past. At this moment, as Vieruodis left, Galadriel spoke. ¡°I¡¯m going to teach everyone some difficult magic today. I wonder if you¡¯re confident?¡± ¡°Yes!¡± In the classroom, all the elves replied in unison, their faces filled with excitement. Galadriel glanced at Aurora, then began to cast slowly. The gentle magic flowed through the air under her guidance, forming a vortex after many spins. This scene made all the elves frown. Although the process seemed simple, just controlling magic to flow like water was enough to stump everyone. ¡°Alright, this is a Level 6 Magic, Vortex Magic Bullet. You should have seen how I channeled my magic power. || ¡°You¡¯re up next.¡± The vortex in front of Galadriel dissipated, and the elves below immediately buried their heads in thought. Most of them could not even guide their magic power. Although Aurora was learning Galadriel¡¯s gestures, the moonlight energy she could attract was very limited. It was not enough to form a magic water flow. But at this moment, a golden vortex appeared. ¡°Wow!¡± The elves in the class collectively lost control of their expressions. Aurora was also dumbfounded. Galadriel covered her mouth instinctively when she saw this. This was because the golden vortex was almost no different from what she had used! The golden egg used a perfect Level 6 spell! Seeing this with her own eyes, Galadriel suppressed her joy and continued. ¡°Next, I¡¯ll teach everyone a slightly more difficult spell. This is a Level 7 spell, Thunder Cloud!¡± Galadriel¡¯s gesture this time was obviously much more complicated. The elves in the class, including Aurora, gave up. As the thundercloud appeared, Galadriel looked expectantly at the golden egg beside Aurora. In the next moment, a replicated golden thundercloud appeared above the golden egg¡¯s head! At this moment, all the elves were speechless. The current scene was completely beyond their understanding. Galadriel¡¯s breathing quickened. She suppressed it and used a higher level of magic! Level 8 magic! Elven Sacred Wings! Level 9 magic! Blessing of the Elven Goddess! As golden wings and the phantom of the Elven Goddess appeared in the class, Galadriel¡¯s face became much rosier from excitement. Chen Kun, in the egg, could not help but feel smug when he saw Galadriel¡¯s expression. From the looks of it, his ability seemed to be quite awesome. The dragon lived up to its reputation! Chapter 25 - Crazy Ideas Chapter 25 Crazy Ideas At this moment, the three elders, Vieruodis, were standing at the entrance of the classroom. They looked at the two golden lights in the air in shock, their eyes filled with disbelief. They had already sensed the appearance of a Level 7 spell. Unexpectedly, Level 8 and 9 spells appeared one after another! That was why the three of them put down their work and rushed over. They happened to see the golden egg casting a Level 9 spell! At this moment, only the golden egg was left in the classroom. When the other elves¡¯ Level 9 spells appeared, they were taken away by the elves who rushed over from the back door. Galadriel could not suppress her racing heart at all. If she had not seen this with her own eyes, she probably would not have believed that anyone could learn and use a Level 9 spell in an instant! It was an egg! Staring at the golden egg, a crazy thought suddenly occurred to Galadriel. ¡°Do you think it can learn a Forbidden Spell?¡± These words stunned the three elders at the door. Logically speaking, Undine should be the one saying such things. Even Undine would never say such crazy things! ¡°Your Majesty, I think it¡¯s necessary to consider this. If anything happens-¡° Slyph knew exactly what level of magic a Forbidden Spell was. If the golden egg could not be used or made a mistake, all life might be extinguished within a ten-kilometer radius! ¡°Slyph was right. Even when I first became a demigod, it took a lot of time to learn Forbidden Spells.¡± ¡°It¡¯s a creature that hasn¡¯t hatched. It can¡¯t have the strength of a demigod. To come into contact with a Forbidden Spell, isn¡¯t that looking for¡ Sorry.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think you¡¯re wrong. It¡¯s just that you have to at least wait until it hatches before learning a Forbidden Spell, right?¡± But at this moment, Galadriel was determined. An ancient book appeared in her hand. In the distance, Chen Kun sensed something resembling destruction from the book. Actually, it was not their fault for stopping him. According to Chen Kun¡¯s understanding, Forbidden Spells were the strongest magic on this continent. Above that was the unattainable realm of gods! Although Chen Kun knew the difference between him and the gods, now, he suddenly wanted to try and see if he could master a Forbidden Spell! Seeing that Galadriel had really taken out the forbidden book, even the usually bold Undine could not help but persuade her. ¡°Your Majesty, I think this matter-¡° Before Undine could finish, the golden egg suddenly flew in front of her. Then, the golden egg kept drawing circles in front of the three of them. When Vieruodis and the others saw this scene, they were shocked! Could it be that the golden egg was interested in Forbidden Spells? In fact, Chen Kun did not want to miss this opportunity. Therefore, after expressing his thoughts to Vieruodis and the others, he immediately controlled the golden egg to fly in front of Galadriel. ¡°So you want to try it too.¡± When Galadriel finished speaking, Chen Kun immediately controlled the golden egg to flutter up and down. Seeing the response from the golden egg, Galadriel opened the Forbidden Spell ancient book without hesitation. This book collected most of the Forbidden Spells on the continent, but most of them were from the elves. This was because it was already not bad for other races to reach Level 9 in magic research. Vieruodis and the others did not expect the golden egg to be so rebellious today. Therefore, the three of them immediately used a Level 9 spell, the Elven Goddess¡¯s Protection. A huge phantom of an elf goddess spread her wings and circled the area. Then, the three of them each cast a magic barrier in this area before walking to Galadriel¡¯s side. The three of them did not dare to speak at all. Every time Galadriel flipped to a page, the Forbidden Spell recorded on it made their hearts clench. ¡°Don¡¯t choose this!¡± ¡°This won¡¯t do either!¡± ¡°Hurry! Hurry up and move to the next page!¡± The three elders were just short of saying what they were thinking. In comparison, Galadriel and Chen Kun, who was waiting in the egg, were much calmer. ¡°That¡¯ll do.¡± Galadriel stopped the page. The spell recorded on the page seemed to hear the storm roaring. When the three elders saw that it was only a beginner Forbidden Spell, their hearts relaxed a little. However, it was a Forbidden Spell after all. It was impossible to be at ease. They had wanted to make one last effort, but Galadriel had already arrived in front of the golden egg. ¡°Next, I¡¯m going to use a more basic Forbidden Spell.¡± ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter if you can¡¯t use the || Forbidden Spell, Storm Rage. Don¡¯t force yourself.¡¯ Chen Kun controlled the golden egg to flutter up and down. Galadriel, who received a response, immediately began to demonstrate. Substantial blue magic power appeared out of thin air, and a violent power began to spread in the air. ¡°Is this a Forbidden Spell? It¡¯s indeed different from ordinary magic!¡± Chen Kun was a little excited, and a storm began to form around Galadriel. The three elders were forced to stay away. Soon, Galadriel was completely surrounded by the storm. At this moment, one could vaguely hear the angry roar of the storm. In the next moment, the storm disappeared as if nothing had happened. Since Galadriel was at the peak of demigods, she naturally had some skills. She could completely control the range and time of disappearance of such a basic Forbidden Spell. ¡°Okay, demonstration complete.¡± Galadriel took the initiative to take a few steps back. Chen Kun rubbed his claws in the egg. He had already memorized the release process of the Forbidden Spell, Storm Rage. Next¡ He would know his true potential now! Galadriel stared at the golden egg expectantly, but she realized that the light of the golden egg had suddenly dimmed a lot. The three elders not far away were also focused on the golden egg, although they had not agreed to teach a Forbidden Spell at first. But now, they hoped to see the golden egg unleash a golden storm! As time passed, Galadriel and the others tried their best to hold their breaths, afraid that they would miss any movement. However, ten minutes quickly passed, but the golden egg still did not react. The three elders immediately heaved a sigh of relief. If the golden egg really succeeded in casting a Forbidden Spell, it would be too terrifying. ¡°Did it fail?¡± Although Galadriel had thought of this outcome, she could not help but feel a little emotional. At this moment, Vieruodis and the others hurriedly leaned over. ¡°Your Majesty, this is a Forbidden Spell after all. It¡¯s not surprising that it failed.¡± ¡°But we¡¯ve seen its potential. In time, it will definitely be able to successfully release the Forbidden Spell. Don¡¯t be too disappointed. ¡°Yes,¡± Undine said quickly, following Slyph¡¯s words. ¡°How can anything learn Forbidden Spells before it¡¯s born?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think such a creature exists. It¡¯s not surprising that it failed.¡± Chapter 26 - Terrifying Forbidden Spell! Chapter 26 Terrifying Forbidden Spell! ¡°Moreover, perhaps the Golden Egg also knows that it doesn¡¯t have the ability to release it and is worried that it will affect it. This isn¡¯t a bad thing.¡± Vieruodis also comforted Galadriel. ¡°You¡¯re right. After all, a Forbidden Spell already represents the top power on this continent.¡± ¡°I¡¯m a little anxious. After it hatches, I¡¯ll consider teaching it high-level magic.¡± However, at this moment, Chen Kun, who was in the egg, was maintaining a silent posture. Was this thing¡.. really a Forbidden Spell? A million questions floated through his mind. At first, he thought it was some shocking magic. However, after Galadriel used it once, he realized that a structure seemed to have appeared in his mind. This entire structure looked like a storm. He only needed to inject magic power along a specific route to create it. In other words, he seemed to have learned a Forbidden Spell? However, the entire process was so smooth that he was now a little suspicious. Could it be that he could not withstand the Forbidden Spell and was actually hallucinating? To verify this idea, he began to infuse magic according to the specific structure in his mind. A second later. The clouds above the elves began to gather as if they had been forcefully twisted into knots by a large hand. A gradually stronger hurricane appeared, and at the same time, thunderclouds flickered in the sky. Startled, Galadriel looked up at the sky. ¡°This is¡ Storm Rage!¡± The three elders also looked at the storm that was gradually forming in the sky in shock. They felt the smell of destruction! A violent storm condensed in the air. The phantom of the Elven Goddess that Vieruodis and the other two had used together was actually blown away! The magic barrier that the three of them had cast was instantly shattered by this destructive magic! The storm gradually gathered above the golden egg. As a golden magic power flowed out of the golden egg, the entire storm was instantly dyed golden! At this moment, the golden storm produced an even stronger pressure! Galadriel had lost control of her expression by now. She stared in disbelief at the golden storm in the sky. The hope in Vieruodis¡¯s and the others¡¯ hearts was completely shattered by the storm at this moment. They had still underestimated the potential of the golden egg! As one, their gazes shifted to the golden egg. At this moment, the golden egg in the center of the storm gave them the illusion that it was a furious god. Moreover, they seemed to have heard an imperceptible roar that made their souls tremble! ¡°Oh no, hurry up and stabilize the outer defense of the Golden Forest!¡± Galadriel suddenly woke up from her excitement. Even if it was only a beginner Forbidden Spell, the destructive power produced was enough to affect the defense barrier of the Golden Forest! This could be seen from the fact that the three elders¡¯ Level 9 magic was instantly torn apart! The three elders¡¯ eyes flickered. Just as they were about to fly to the corresponding array, the golden storm in the sky suddenly disappeared. Other than the shattered clouds in the sky and the residual wind elemental magic in the air, the Forbidden Spell that was enough to destroy the world seemed to have never existed! ¡°Damn, is a Forbidden Spell that terrifying?¡± Chen Kun smacked his lips. He only wanted to give it a try. He did not expect the original Forbidden Spell to be so ridiculous. Fortunately, he had canceled it in advance. Otherwise, if it was completely released, he would probably not even have an eggshell left. At the thought of that outcome, Chen Kun¡¯s back went numb. Galadriel and the others looked at each other. They still did not understand the situation in front of them. But a moment later, Galadriel seemed to think of something. Her gaze was fixed on the golden egg. Beside her, Vieruodis and the others saw Galadriel¡¯s expression and suddenly realized something. Undine said uncertainly, ¡°It shouldn¡¯t be it, right?¡± ¡°But other than it, who else here can eliminate Forbidden Spell-level magic?¡± Galadriel could indeed do it, but this prerequisite was that she had cast a Forbidden Spell because the magic power of the Forbidden Spell came from the same source as her. Therefore, after reaching Galadriel¡¯s level, he only needed to absorb magic power back to cancel the Forbidden Spell. However, it was impossible for Galadriel to disperse the previous golden storm at once. That left only one answer. The Golden Egg canceled the Forbidden Spell itself! The thought came to the four of them at the same time. Their breathing stopped for a moment. Removing the Forbidden Spell seemed simple, but the first prerequisite was to reach the peak of the demigod level like Galadriel. If their strength did not meet the standard, they would have to withstand most of the damage of the Forbidden Spell if they wanted to cancel the Forbidden Spell that was already in its release state. Even as demigods, they could not withstand such damage! ¡°Eggy can actually cast such powerful magic?¡± At this moment, in the distance, Aurora was peeking with the other elves. She had seen everything that had just happened. ¡°No way. That golden egg is actually so powerful. This is already comparable to the elders, right?¡± ¡°As expected, all of this is a favor from the Elven Goddess. A fifth demigod can finally appear in our elves!¡± ¡°I want to cultivate diligently too. I want to reach the same height as this golden egg!¡± The little elves present were all hot-blooded and excited. Today¡¯s scene was enough for them to remember for the rest of their lives! At this moment, Aurora could not hold back her excitement and ran out of the tree hole. The other elves followed closely. Soon, Aurora led the little elves to Galadriel and the others. ¡°Your Majesty, Eggy is so powerful. I want to know how it learned it!¡± ¡°I want to know too!¡± Elves surrounded Galadriel like curious babies, but she could not answer this question. ¡°As long as everyone works hard, you can reach this height in the future, so don¡¯t be lazy when cultivating next.¡± Galadriel encouraged the little elves with a smile. Today could be said to be the happiest day for Galadriel because the performance of the golden egg meant that the elves had another demigod-level expert! To the current elves, this was no different from finding dew after a long drought! ¡°Your Majesty, something happened outside the city!¡± An elf envoy flew over from afar in a panic. From the looks of it, she was quite injured. ¡°What happened?¡± At this moment, Galadriel suddenly felt a violent aura. The three elders behind her did not hesitate and immediately flew toward the source of the aura. Galadriel cast a healing spell on the elf envoy, who quickly spoke after recovering. ¡°The Sage Seal in the depths of the elves is damaged. The Bone Dragon Sark has broken through the seal!¡± Galadriel¡¯s pupils constricted. Abyssal Bone Dragon, Sark, was a demigod! Chapter 27 - Difficult Strategy Chapter 27 Difficult Strategy In fact, Sark did not belong to the category of creatures like Dolan. Back then, the Abyss Lord had spent a lot of effort to find the skeleton of a high-level dragon. Then, he used the Abyssal Secret Technique to revive it and became one of the highest combatants of the Abyss. Not only were Sark¡¯s bones abnormally hard because of the characteristics of a high-level dragon, but he also had a very terrifying recovery ability. Even a high-level Forbidden Spell could not destroy it. In the Abyssal Battle back then, many elves died because of it. In the end, it was Galadriel and the three elders who led Sark into the depths of the elves. The few of them worked together to use a high-level sealing Forbidden Spell to completely seal Sark. However, Galadriel felt a little strange at this moment. It was absolutely impossible for the Sage Seal to become weaker as time passed because it would constantly absorb the surrounding magic power. Therefore, the longer it took, the stronger the Sage Seal would be. She waved her palm in front of her and an image appeared. It was a huge array covered in complicated runes. A hole had clearly been torn in the middle. There was still some golden magic above the array. At that moment, Galadriel understood everything. ¡°You can really cause me trouble, little guy.¡± Galadriel turned her head and patted the golden egg helplessly. Although the culprit was right in front of her, she didn¡¯t seem to be able to punish it. The scales on the golden egg¡¯s surface dimmed a lot. Even its floating height dropped a little, like a child who had done something wrong. It was mainly because Chen Kun really did not expect such a thing to happen. Moreover, from Galadriel¡¯s performance just now, that guy called Sark should be a very troublesome thing. Therefore, he was more or less a little embarrassed. ¡°Don¡¯t run around here,¡± Galadriel instructed. Then her body turned into light and dissipated. By the time Galadriel arrived at the battlefield, Vieruodis and the other two had already changed into elf equipment. ¡°Roar!¡± There was a hoarse roar from below. A pair of huge bone wings loomed in the forest. The seventeen elves flew quickly over the forest, releasing continuous magic attacks like bombers. Suddenly, a long bone tail suddenly swung over from afar. Fortunately, the seventeen elves cooperated carefully and barely dodged. However, the bone tail swept through a forest. Originally, the elves could still barely suppress Sark with the forest. But without the restraints of the forest, Sark finally stood up! Its already fleshless eye sockets flickered with a ghostly light. Then, it instantly spat out a black flame! An elf envoy saw that it was too late to dodge, but in the next second, a huge holy shield appeared in front of her. ¡°You¡¯ve pinned them down well. Leave the rest to us.¡± Undine¡¯s eyes were solemn as she pushed the Holy Shield towards Sark. Undine was better at close combat. Therefore, although Sark wanted to dodge immediately, the holy shield wrapped in black flames still smashed into its body. Then¡ The broken holy shield instantly transformed into countless elven holy spears that mercilessly pierced into Sark¡¯s bones! However, the elven holy spears that could easily penetrate diamonds only pierced a portion. But it wasn¡¯t over. Undine was above it when Sark was about to spit out the next black flame. ¡°Lie on the ground!¡± Her seemingly weak arm smashed mercilessly against the top of Sark¡¯s head. In an instant, there was a metallic clang in the area! Immediately after, Undine unleashed a storm of attacks on its head. The elves who did not manage to hide far away were dizzy from the continuous metallic sounds. ¡°We have to find a way to get this guy out of the Golden Forest now. Otherwise, we won¡¯t be able to interfere in the next battle.¡± Vieruodis¡¯s eyes were serious. Among the few people present, Undine was the only one who was good at close combat because she could control the combat area to the smallest extent. The remaining three Galadriels were good at large-scale magic. If they used it, it was very likely to affect the Golden Forest. ¡°Can we jointly use a Forbidden Spell-level sealing magic to precisely control the range?¡± ¡°In that case, perhaps¡¡± ¡°No,¡± Galadriel interrupted Slyph. ¡°It¡¯s too risky.¡± ¡°It can suppress Sark¡¯s Forbidden Spell sealing magic and cast it with a radius of at least 2,000 meters. At that time, all life inside will be frozen.¡± ¡°And if the range is not controlled well, half of the Golden Forest might be buried.¡± Slyph fell silent, although it could also reseal Sark through the Sage Seal. However, it was a demigod after all. No matter how stupid it was, it would not casually run to the Sage Seal. If Galadriel forced her hand, the Golden Forest would definitely be affected. At this moment, on the top of a distant tree, Aurora was sitting with the golden egg in her arms. To be honest, Chen Kun was quite shocked because he had not seen Undine really attack in the past few years. Therefore, he had never had a precise idea of the strength of these elders and Galadriel. But now he completely understood. A demigod was a demigod! Even from afar, Chen Kun could feel the surging magic in Undine. However, Chen Kun also realized that although Undine¡¯s attacks were very frequent, there seemed to be no way to cause substantial damage to the bone dragon. Looking at the bone dragon in the distance, Chen Kun felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity. Of course, it was not the relationship of parents. It was as if¡ ¡°Eggy, where are you going?¡± Aurora did not expect the golden egg to suddenly leave her and fly out. By the time she reacted, it was far away. Seeing that the persecution caused by Sark was increasing, Galadriel was prepared to enter. Compared to destroying the entire Golden Forest, that half of the loss was acceptable. ¡°Prepare the Advanced Forbidden Spell, Holy Affinity Cage. The two of you are in charge of controlling the range of the Forbidden Spell!¡± But as soon as Galadriel finished instructing the two behind her, she suddenly felt an aura. She suddenly turned around and saw the golden egg flying quickly toward Sark! ¡°Oh no!¡± Noticing this, Vieruodis and Slyph immediately spread their wings and flew over with Galadriel. If Sark noticed the golden egg, it would really be over! Undine, who was fighting, also sensed the approaching golden egg, but she could not find a gap at all. However, at this moment, Sark, who was suppressed by her, suddenly rioted. The powerful force knocked Undine back hundreds of meters. Despair surged through her as she watched Sark charge straight at the golden egg. Bang! The four demigods stopped above Sark with their weapons, but the four of them looked petrified. At this moment, Sark was maintaining a bowing posture. In front of him was the golden egg that had suddenly floated over earlier! Chapter 28 - Abyss Tremor Chapter 28 Abyss Tremor At this moment, Chen Kun was even more surprised to see the Bone Dragon Sark kneeling in front of him. At first, Chen Kun only felt that his bloodline was similar to its, and his subconscious told him that it was inferior to him. After approaching, he realized that this big guy in front of him was actually soulless! In Chen Kun¡¯s perception, it did not have any self-awareness. In other words, it moved purely on instinct. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect a walking corpse to be willing to submit to me. In that case, my status in the dragon race seems to be quite impressive.¡± Thinking of this, Chen Kun was overjoyed. As expected, the heavens would not let down a good person! The only pity was that this big guy couldn¡¯t listen to him. Otherwise¡ As he was thinking, a strange feeling suddenly appeared in Chen Kun¡¯s mind, as if the bone dragon, Sark, was a part of him! To his surprise, Chen Kun immediately followed the feeling in his mind and tried to control it. Galadriel and the others were still wary of Sark, who was lying on the ground. They were prepared to see him firsthand. If Sark planned to attack the golden egg, the four of them could use Forbidden Spells at the same time! At this moment, the Bone Dragon Sark actually raised its head. Galadriel and the others instantly flew in front of the golden egg, and magic halos surrounded their hands. However, just as they were about to cast a Forbidden Spell, they suddenly realized that Sark¡¯s huge country seemed to have shrunk a lot. Looking at the forest part that was originally pressed down around them, they were sure they weren¡¯t seeing things. At this moment, the Bone Dragon Sark¡¯s body quickly shrank. In a few breaths, it shrunk into a bone crown. ¡°What¡¯s going on?¡± Galadriel was in disbelief. At this moment, the crown flew toward the four of them. Magic condensed in their hands. One had to know that Sark was a monster under the Abyss Lord. Perhaps this was that guy¡¯s scheme! However, at this moment, the golden egg passed by them again. Galadriel wanted to reach out, but the golden egg dodged. ¡°Does it know what¡¯s going on?¡± With this in mind, Galadriel immediately saw the crown that Sark had transformed into slowly land on the golden egg! Then, the golden egg adjusted the position of its crown before slowly returning to Galadriel. Seeing the golden egg floating up and down, Galadriel roughly understood what it meant. ¡°You¡ took care of Sark?¡± The golden egg trembled as if in response. Bang! Bang! There were two explosions behind Galadriel. Slyph and Undine had lost control of their magic in their excitement. The seventeen elf envoys looked at the scene in the sky in a daze. They would never have thought of it. A demigod-level monster was actually suppressed and subdued by the golden egg just like that! ¡°Looks like it¡¯s really debatable if some of the legends in the forest are true.¡± Gwen¡¯s gaze was fixed on the golden egg in the air. Some elves had discussed in private before that the restoration of the Ancient Elven Tree might be related to the golden egg. At that time, Gwen didn¡¯t believe it. After all, it was just an egg, although it had been declared a holy relic of the elves. However, after years of observation, her understanding of this egg was at best that of a sentient creature. The other elves watching from afar had no idea what had happened. They only saw the Bone Dragon Sark suddenly disappear, and then Galadriel and the others were disarmed. Galadriel went forward and temporarily took off the crown on the golden egg. This was also for safety. However, Chen Kun, who was in the egg, was a little unhappy. He had worked hard to be comfortable. How could they take it away just like that? Seeing that the golden egg kept banging her chest reluctantly, Galadriel quickly comforted it. ¡°The bone dragon, Sark, comes from the Abyss after all. I can¡¯t hand it to you until I¡¯m sure it¡¯s safe.¡± Hearing this, the golden egg stopped hitting. Galadriel handed the crown to Vieruodis, then shot Undine a look. Undine understood and turned to rush in the direction of the seventeen elves below. Returning to the Goddess Hall, Galadriel was left with Vieruodis because Slyph still had to deal with the damage caused. The golden egg and crown were placed in their designated spots, followed by a holy light that enveloped them. ¡°That¡¯s strange. It¡¯s actually not affected at all? And the crown that Sark transformed into doesn¡¯t have the aura of the Abyss anymore. What¡¯s going on?¡± Vieruodis did not see anything unusual. When Galadriel saw this scene, she could only try her best to suppress the excitement and shock in her heart. It had been more than three hundred years! The Bone Dragon Sark that had always given them a headache was finally resolved! Moreover, all the credit belonged to this precious golden egg! At the same time. Creak¡ creak¡ The chewing sound kept echoing in this dark space. The Dark Elf Queen, Zyra, was kneeling on the bloodstained ground, trembling. ¡°To be honest, the Dark Elves smell very ordinary.¡± With that, a few mutilated corpses were thrown in front of Zyra. She immediately pressed her head lower. Then a woman slowly emerged from the darkness ahead. She ignored the blood on her mouth and came to Zyra¡¯s side. ¡°You don¡¯t even know how the elves resolved the Anti-Magic Stone last time. The Dark Elves haven¡¯t contributed much in the past few years.¡± ¡°You don¡¯t really think you can patronize me with such inferior meat every time, do you?¡± ¡°Abyss Lord, what happened last time¡¡± ¡°I don¡¯t want to hear reasons,¡± the woman interrupted impatiently. ¡°I just want to see what you guys did.¡± ¡°A few lousy villages? A small team of human soldiers?¡± ¡°Haven¡¯t you Dark Elves always claimed to be nobler than the elves? Haven¡¯t you been unable to take down a country for a few years?¡± Zyra swallowed, her breathing suppressed. The Abyss Lord turned and helped her to her feet. ¡°What a beautiful face. If the Dark Elves don¡¯t want to be my tonic, do you know what to do?¡± ¡°I do!¡± The next moment, Zyra was slammed to the ground. Blood splattered everywhere. Zyra scrambled to her feet, but as she turned to leave, the unbelievable voice of the Abyss Lord came from behind. ¡°How is that possible? The bone dragon escaped my control?¡± The Abyss Lord could not believe it. She knew that the bone dragon had always been sealed by the elves, but now she had lost her senses. What was certain was that the elves could not have the ability to destroy it. This was because the bones of high-level dragons could not be destroyed by the power below the gods! ¡°Lord, what happened to the Bone Dragon Sark? Is there anything I can do for you?¡± ¡°Coincidentally, this is the best thing for you. I remember you have an elf there?¡± || ¡°What was she called again¡¡¯ ¡°Her name is Lehr. She betrayed the elves three hundred and fifty years ago.¡± The Abyss Lord nodded, a strange smile on her lips. Chapter 29 - The Elf Races Recovery Period Chapter 29 The Elf Race¡¯s Recovery Period In the blink of an eye, another few years passed. Ever since the Bone Dragon Sark incident, the elves quickly acted as if nothing had happened. Moreover, the recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree also quietly restored the elves to their former prosperity. After confirming that there was nothing wrong with the crown that Sark had transformed into, Galadriel personally handed it to Chen Kun. Other than that, Chen Kun had not grown much in the past few years. Of course, he did not know how to return to his original domineering appearance. It could be said that his only job all day was to follow Galadriel or one of the three elders around. In the old society, this was called being unemployed. However, today was special. Chen Kun specially asked Undine to bring him to take a shower. Of course, he, who could only communicate simply, barged in. Chen Kun appeared in the central square with a slightly conspicuous crown. Even though it was already dark, many elves noticed Chen Kun¡¯s crown. Although it was close to midnight, the square was filled with elves. That¡¯s right, today was the once-in-a-decade Birth Ceremony of the elves. Previously, he had heard that he was also born from the Elf Spring, so he decided to join in out of curiosity. Soon, the ceremony began. Due to Chen Kun¡¯s special identity, he floated beside the Elf Spring. As Galadriel completed her prayer, nine balls of light appeared in the Elf Spring! Galadriel was filled with joy. The fruits of the Ancient Elven Tree¡¯s recovery had finally appeared! ¡°Thank you for the protection of the Elven Goddess. I¡¯ll name this Wind Elf Janna!¡± When the fifth elf was born, a Wind High Elf appeared. The wind elemental power she triggered blew at the Elf Spring, causing ripples. All the elves in the square were very happy to see this scene. This Wind High Elf named Janna would also be nurtured by Vieruodis. However, when the sixth elf was born, the rich water elemental magic instantly caused a drizzle in the area of the Elf Spring! The other elves around the square saw this. Many of them could not help but stand up, wanting to see this unprecedented little guy! Without a doubt, this Water High Elf¡¯s talent was slightly stronger than Aurora¡¯s. After all, although Aurora had also triggered moonlight at that time, it was indeed inferior to the current scene. Galadriel smiled against the rain and hugged the soft Water High Elf. The Water Elf also obediently leaned into her arms. ¡°I¡¯ll name this elf Tricia. She¡¯ll be nurtured by Slyph herself!¡± Slyph stood up solemnly, then went forward to take Water Elf. However, Chen Kun, who was floating at the side, looked at the soft little guy and felt a strange feeling in his heart, as if¡ It was as if it was related to his crown. However, he could not speak, so this matter was left unsettled. Without a doubt, this birth was much more successful than the last time. Not only were two High Elves born, but there were also two more. Of course, Chen Kun was definitely not considered an elf. The birth of the new elves once again injected fresh vitality into the elves. At this moment, the elves no longer had anything to worry about. Over the next few years, the elves began to prosper under the protection of the Golden Forest. The overall strength of the elves had greatly increased during this period. Gwen successfully advanced to the demigod level, but she refused to be an elder. Other than the remaining sixteen elf envoys, fifteen Saint Magisters appeared one after another. The elves were developing in the best direction. However, it was not peaceful outside the Golden Forest. After a few years of accumulating strength, the most powerful Golden Seal Empire began to frequently invade and expand. It was said that they had mastered a new kind of magic, so they quickly defeated the Rose Duchy. However, the Rose Duchy and the Winter Empire had long formed a political marriage alliance. Therefore, the small invasion turned into a battle between two large empires. The Sky Eagle Federation, the weakest of the three empires, also mobilized a large number of troops at this moment. However, once a third country participated in a war, there would basically be no fight. After all, there was no guarantee that your allies wouldn¡¯t stab you in the back. Therefore, the three parties reached a subtle peace. The Golden Seal Empire did not return the land of the Rose Duchy. However, this was difficult for the king of the Rose Duchy. He only had the title of king, but he did not even have land of his own. But this year, that peace seemed to have been broken again. It was said that another powerful magister had been born in the Golden Seal Empire. The battle of the three large empires naturally required a large number of weapons and equipment to support it. As the most outstanding race in alchemy on the Dolan Continent, the quality of the weapons forged by the dwarfs was also the best. This brought the dwarves a lot of wealth, but correspondingly, the dwarves began to mine more frequently on the land of the Dolan Continent. As a result, the dwarves, who had no memory at all, dug up a sleeping Flame Demon! That was why Gwen had refused to become an elder. She was now patrolling around the Golden Forest with the Forest Patrol Elves all day. Basically, she could hunt one or two humans who tried to take the risk to cut trees every day. Because the Golden Seal Empire, which was closest, was in urgent need of wood, the dense Golden Forest naturally became the first choice. The grumpy Gwen had been so angry several times that she had approached Galadriel to apply to teach the Golden Seal Empire a lesson, but she had been refused. However, this was not something Chen Kun should worry about. Even if the sky collapsed, there were four demigods supporting him. Parked on Aurora¡¯s desk, Chen Kun in the egg occasionally glanced at the Water Elf, Tricia, who was sitting beside Aurora. To be honest, it had been a few years, but Chen Kun still felt that there was something wrong with this Water Elf. It wasn¡¯t that he hated her. It was that indescribable strangeness. Sometimes, Chen Kun felt that she was deliberately approaching him. Although she liked to play with him as much as the other elves, in comparison, Tricia was especially purposeful. Once, she even touched his crown. However, even if he suspected Tricia at this stage, he had no way of proving it. He simply couldn¡¯t be bothered to spend time thinking about it. He had learned many Forbidden Spells in the past two years. Although he was not allowed to use them normally, if he encountered danger, there was nothing to stop him from using them. In the past few years, he had also studied the crown in his free time. The current him could let the crown show its original huge form at any time. However, he had never displayed this ability before. Firstly, it was because of Tricia. Secondly¡ if Galadriel and the others saw the bone dragon appear again, this crown would probably be taken away. These things could be used as his life-saving charm at critical moments if he did not leak them to the outside world. Chapter 30 - Hidden Viper Chapter 30 Hidden Viper Because today¡¯s class was really boring, Chen Kun quickly fell asleep. Sensing that the life aura in the golden egg had calmed down, Tricia, who had been listening attentively, quietly turned her head and quickly locked onto the golden egg on Aurora¡¯s table. At this moment, her eyes flickered with a different light from the child¡¯s. Her gaze was shockingly identical to the previous Abyss Lord! That¡¯s right, she was the Abyss Lord at that time. Because the bone dragon, Sark, had lost its senses, she decided to find out what had happened. Because if it was really the elves who destroyed Sark, it meant that more demigod experts had appeared among the elves. Or if she learned a Forbidden Spell that was enough to destroy a high-level dragon, the situation in the Abyss would be a little troublesome. That was why she specially looked for Zyra. The Dark Elves had a secret technique to create new life through dark energy. However, the life directly created by using this method would definitely be directly seen through. Thus, she thought of Lehr. Using Lehr¡¯s blood and a portion of the Elf Dew that she had taken upon her betrayal, she made Zyra create an elf body for her. Then, she cut off half of her purest soul and placed it into her body. Just like that, a Water High Elf that could not be detected at all was born. During the war back then, the Dark Elves had also plundered many Elf Springs. Using a secret technique, the Abyss Lord successfully transferred itself to the spring water of the elves. Just like that, she perfectly escaped the attention of the four demigods. This was because the time she chose happened to be the birth of the elves. Just like that, as a talented Water High Elf, she was accepted by the elves. However, this method still had an obvious drawback. After all, she was not a natural elf. Therefore, this body could only last a few years at most. At that time, this fake elf body would begin to rot because her soul had already formed a certain connection with this body. If she didn¡¯t break away in time, her soul would also be severely affected. At that time, she would face a choice. Should she choose to give up this part of her soul or endure the pain of corruption corroding her soul? However, this question was not difficult for her to choose from. She knew very well that if she wanted to establish the great cause of the Abyss, some sacrifices had to be made. After all, relying on her incompetent subordinates might not give her a chance to corrode the Dolan Continent for thousands of years. After she was born, she was the first to notice the bone crown on the golden egg¡¯s head. At that time, she did not pay much attention to the golden egg. What could an unhatched creature do? However, she was also shocked because the bone crown was clearly a product of Sark¡¯s shrunken form. This also meant that the elves had really destroyed Sark. Therefore, she began to collect internal information about the elves faster. When she learned that the Ancient Elven Tree had been healed, she was very shocked. In order to verify it, she specially went to the vicinity of the Ancient Elven Tree to check in detail. The dense leaves seemed to shroud her heart in a haze. One had to know that they had spent a lot of effort to destroy this tree back then. At this moment, the Abyss Lord realized that the elves had quietly changed a lot in the past few years. Therefore, she used her identity to successfully get closer to Aurora. However, in the later interactions, she gradually learned all kinds of shocking events about the golden egg from Aurora! Not to mention anything else, just the creature in this egg was definitely not ordinary! Only then did she realize that this golden egg was the most precious thing to the elves! At first, she did plan to steal the golden egg, because according to what she learned during that period, she learned that the creature inside was very powerful. If she could nurture it into an Abyssal creature, the combat strength of the Abyss would probably rise to the top of the world! However, since they valued this golden egg so much, there was naturally no need to mention the other elders. Galadriel and the three elders could be said to be protecting the golden egg at all times. No matter where they went, they would bring it along. This caused the Abyss Lord to have no chance of taking the golden egg away. This was because her current strength was only as much as it seemed on the surface. It was impossible for an ordinary newbie elf to snatch something from a demigod. Her complete strength could indeed be taken by force, but this forest was very sensitive to the darkness. Even a little power mixed in would be acutely sensed by this forest. Therefore, she could only wait for an opportunity. As long as she could bring the golden egg out of the Golden Forest, everything would be fine. At night, she and Aurora were put in a room, and the golden egg was taken out. She pretended to get up to drink water, but then she actually heard something incredible! ¡°It¡¯s been ten years, but you show no sign of hatching.¡± ¡°I really don¡¯t know how much magic power you need. Looks like I can only use the Elf Dew.¡± ¡°I¡¯ve already informed the other elders about this in advance. We¡¯ll discuss it tomorrow.¡± ¡°If it goes well. I can bring the Elf Dew over tomorrow night for you to use.¡± Galadriel hugged the golden egg gently and whispered. When Chen Kun, who was in the golden egg, heard this, he was so happy that he wished he could roll around in the egg. This was because he had learned about this thing before, but he could not speak, so he naturally could not make any requests. ¡°I¡¯ve been looking forward to it. It¡¯s finally here!¡± At this moment, the eyes of the Abyss Lord, who was eavesdropping in the room, were filled with shock. She knew very well how important the Elf Dew was to the elves. At that time, Lehr had only stolen a drop even if she tried her best. However, even so, Undine and Vieruodis of the elves had chased her across thousands of kilometers. In the end, she, the Abyss Lord, had to personally stop them. Now, Galadriel was actually willing to take out such an elven treasure for the golden egg. Needless to say, she probably could not obtain this golden egg at the moment. Then there was only one choice left. Destroy it completely! Although she wasn¡¯t confident that she could snatch something from four demigods, it was easy to destroy it when the other party was unprepared. ¡°Since you think this golden egg is the future and hope of the elves, I¡¯ll personally destroy your future in front of all you elves when it breaks out of its shell!¡± At the thought of the elves happily welcoming the new life in the golden egg, but falling into anger and confusion as it died, the Abyss Lord was greatly satisfied. She couldn¡¯t wait to do it. Chapter 31 - Final Struggle Chapter 31 Final Struggle The next day, in the Goddess Hall. Galadriel sat on the throne in a dignified outfit. On both sides below were three elders and Gwen. ¡°I¡¯ve gathered the four of you here today to mainly discuss whether the Elf Dew can be used by the golden egg.¡± ¡°Combined with what happened a few years ago, I think the golden egg has unlimited potential.¡± ¡°It is enough for the elves to fork out sufficient resources to help it hatch.¡± ¡°I also believe that no matter what creature the hatched golden egg is, it will definitely bring endless benefits to the elves.¡± Galadriel¡¯s voice sounded and Vieruodis was the first to stand. ¡°Your Majesty, I can¡¯t agree with you. The golden egg is important, but the Elf Dew is the last trump card of the elves.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think we should use it unless we have to.¡± ¡°I haven¡¯t heard anything about the golden egg from the spiritual prophecy in the past few years. ¡°Considering the future of the entire elves, I don¡¯t think we should all bet on a single golden egg.¡± ¡°I think so too.¡± Slyph stood up. ¡°In our elves, there are strict rules regarding the use of the Elf Dew.¡± ¡°If we break this rule as the leaders of the elves, what will the other elves think?¡± ¡°There¡¯s no way an unruly country can survive the course of history.¡± Their words were sharp. If this were any other country, the king would probably be furious and want to kill someone. But Galadriel kept a smile on her face. This was because she knew that what the two of them were talking about was something she had never thought of. This was indeed something to consider. At that moment, Gwen stood up. ¡°I know my thoughts might not matter, but I think we still need to get the elves through these crises for now.¡± ¡°All signs indicate that the golden egg is the future of the elves. The two elders are right to protect the elves.¡± ¡°But we don¡¯t know what the crisis is now, so we can¡¯t delay the hatching of the golden egg. ¡°Your thoughts are important. I think the other elders agree with me.¡± Galadriel encouraged her. Those who could sit here and participate in the meeting were already qualified to speak for the race. Gwen pointed out the key to the problem at once, which silenced the other two. A long time later, just as Galadriel decided to use the Elf Dew, Slyph suddenly suggested. ¡°I think we can use the Philosopher¡¯s Blood first. If we can¡¯t hatch it then, we can consider using the Elf Dew.¡± These words stunned Galadriel and Vieruodis. Then their gazes turned to Undine, who had not spoken a word. Undine stood up when she saw this. She spoke in a slightly embarrassed manner. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Your Majesty. I didn¡¯t inform you in time. I¡¯ve been secretly collecting materials for the past few years.¡± ¡°It wasn¡¯t easy to collect them recently, but I haven¡¯t had time to refine them.¡± The sudden news surprised Galadriel at first, but then she considered and spoke. ¡°In that case, we¡¯ll do as you say. When the Philosopher¡¯s Blood is refined, we¡¯ll try again to see if we can hatch the golden egg.¡¯ 11 ¡°If it doesn¡¯t work, I¡¯ll have to take out the Elf Dew.¡± Five to six days passed like this. On this day, Chen Kun was taken away while he was still sleeping. When he opened his eyes, he immediately felt a rich magic power! ¡°Could it be that you¡¯re planning to use the Elf Dew on me?¡± At this moment, Chen Kun was honestly a little excited because Galadriel had not mentioned this since that day. He had thought that this matter was over. After all, no matter what, that thing was the guarantee of the elves. Therefore, even if he did not take it out, he did not feel very disappointed. Filled with anticipation, Chen Kun came to the Ancient Elven Tree and saw Undine, who was covered in injuries, take out a bottle of potion. Only then did he suddenly understand. It turned out that the elves had spent a lot of effort collecting the materials of the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. However, this thing was not much inferior to the Elf Dew. Chen Kun was looking forward to it again. At this moment, the entire Jadeite City had already been completely enveloped by the beginner Forbidden Spell, Sanctuary Realm, used by the seventeen elves. The elves in the central area of the Jadeite City had also been evacuated early. The Abyss Lord had just returned from class. She was immediately puzzled when she saw the Forbidden Spell rising around the Jadeite City. ¡°Sister, do you know what happened?¡± Although she hated these elves to the core, she still had to put on a full show. Her soft voice and cute appearance made the elf, who was staring at the Forbidden Spell area, squat down dotingly. ¡°So it¡¯s you, little fellow. I don¡¯t know what happened inside.¡± ¡°It happened occasionally a few years ago.¡± ¡°I see. Thank you, Sister.¡± The Abyss Lord pretended to thank her and kissed her before finding an excuse to leave. However, after asking several targets in a row, she did not get the answer she wanted. But just as she was about to lean over and investigate, a cool aura suddenly spread out from the central area! Because she was in an elf¡¯s body now, her perception of this aura was very sharp. The image of the Ancient Elven Tree quickly appeared in her mind, and the branches of this ancient tree were growing at a very fast speed! ¡°The elves actually did it?¡± Before seeing it with her own eyes, the Abyss Lord was still suspicious that the elves could heal the Ancient Elven Tree. This was because they had been helpless for hundreds of years. How could they come up with a solution in just a few years? However, the reality was the best tool to slap her in the face. The abilities of the elves exceeded her expectations! This was not good news. Since the elves now had the ability to heal the ancient tree, it meant that they had definitely come into contact with the authority of gods! Although the Abyss Lord was already a demigod of the same level as Galadriel, she had very few divine authorities. At the very least, she did not have the ability to open another abyssal gate. At this moment, the Forbidden Spell in the sky dissipated, and the seventeen elves retreated. The Abyssal Lord pretended to be as curious as the other elves as they headed toward the central area. However, at this moment, she felt an abnormally turbulent life force! She passed through the crowd and looked up immediately. Above, Galadriel and the other three elders were passing through the half-empty corridor. The surging life force came from the golden egg in Galadriel¡¯s hand! Chapter 32 - New Ability Chapter 32 New Ability Feeling the life force in the golden egg, coupled with the importance Galadriel and the others attached to the golden egg, at this moment, a guess suddenly appeared in the Abyss Lord¡¯s mind that shocked her! Could the revival of the Ancient Elven Tree be related to the golden egg? She could not help but think of something Aurora had told her about the Golden Egg. Coupled with her life experiences over the past few years, the Abyss Lord gradually confirmed this guess. Otherwise, there was no reason for them to carry the golden egg all the time! ¡°I have to get this golden egg no matter what.¡± The Abyss Lord¡¯s eyes flickered. In the Goddess Hall, Galadriel and the others looked solemn. In short, using the Philosopher¡¯s Blood this time brought a lot of benefits to the Ancient Elven Tree. The branches of the Ancient Elven Tree had regained a lot of vitality, but¡.. The golden egg still showed no signs of hatching. After using up the large bottle of Philosopher¡¯s Blood, other than its life force becoming a little more exuberant, the golden egg had no other changes. As the person involved, Chen Kun was a little speechless now. He had been holding it in for more than ten years. However, no matter how much energy he absorbed, he could not hatch. He was even more anxious than Galadriel and the others. ¡°Looks like being too strong isn¡¯t a good thing. Don¡¯t tell me I have to wait a hundred years before I have enough energy to break out of my shell?¡± The thought came to him and he felt inexplicably tortured. Although life here was leisurely, he did not need to eat or work. He could still be with his beautiful sisters every day, but after living an idle life for a long time, he would be bored. However, it was not that he did not gain anything from using the Philosopher¡¯s Blood this time. This thing was very precious after all. At this moment, Chen Kun¡¯s entire body was much sturdier. Moreover, he could vaguely feel something hidden in his body waking up. It was the power that belonged to his bloodline. ¡°Sigh, looks like we have to use the Elf Dew.¡± ¡°What if a powerful enemy invades after using the Elf Dew?¡± ¡°I wonder if this little guy will be considered an elf or something after he¡¯s born. What kind of position should I arrange for him?¡± Chen Kun turned to look at Galadriel and the others. He was puzzled because he had thought they were discussing. Strangely, they did not speak at this moment. Everyone was silent. At this moment, Chen Kun heard Undine¡¯s voice. However, a strange scene happened. Undine did not open her mouth at all! ¡°What is the life in this egg? It cost me several bottles of Philosopher¡¯s Blood to hatch ¡°Why don¡¯t I find a time to knock it open secretly?¡± Chen Kun was stunned. His mind raced for a moment before he finally understood what was going on. He seemed to be able to read others¡¯ minds! In order to confirm the existence of this ability, he observed for a while more. As expected, what he had heard previously was what Galadriel and the others were thinking! This ability made Chen Kun a little overjoyed. Was this a blessing in disguise? Galadriel, who had been silent for a long time, finally made up her mind. She spoke slowly. ¡°I think everyone saw what happened today with their own eyes. I¡¯m afraid it¡¯s difficult to hatch the golden egg with the Philosopher¡¯s Blood alone.¡± ¡°Collecting the Philosopher¡¯s Blood will take years. We can¡¯t wait that long now.¡± ¡°So we¡¯ll do as we said before and find a time to take out the Elf Dew for the golden egg.¡± ¡°No problem,¡± Vieruodis said, raising another question. ¡°It¡¯s just how much we should use. Earlier, I checked the remaining Elf Dew.¡± ¡°If you use them all, it can even allow your strength to reach the realm of gods for a short period of time.¡± ¡°But I¡¯m afraid the golden egg can¡¯t withstand such powerful energy.¡± Slyph immediately said, ¡°It¡¯s definitely impossible to use them all. This thing is too important.¡± ¡°My suggestion is that we can use part of it first. When the time comes, we¡¯ll see how the golden egg changes.¡± Galadriel was actually thinking the same thing, but at this moment, Undine spoke again. ¡°Actually, I keep feeling that this golden egg is deliberately not hatching, so I want to see if I can make it hatch early.¡± ¡°No way!¡± As soon as Undine said it, the three of them retorted at the same time. Chen Kun did not expect Undine to actually dare to say it. He quickly controlled himself and flew into Galadriel¡¯s arms. ¡°This golden egg is a gift from the Elven Goddess. How can it deliberately not hatch? Undine, put away your thoughts.¡± Galadriel¡¯s suddenly serious words warmed Chen Kun¡¯s heart. However, this was not Undine¡¯s fault, because she was not deliberately doing anything to him. ¡°I was just mentioning it casually. I definitely know how important this little guy is to our elves.¡± Undine quickly explained, but Galadriel and the others knew Undine¡¯s personality very well. ¡°Leave the golden egg with me for the next few days.¡± Undine, who had been deprived of the right to look after the golden egg, wanted to cry. ¡°In that case, let¡¯s follow what we just said and find time to use a portion of the Elf Dew on the golden egg first.¡± ¡°If the golden egg shows signs of hatching when the time comes, we¡¯ll continue to use it.¡± Vieruodis concluded, and Galadriel and the other two elders nodded in agreement. However, at this moment, Chen Kun could still hear their internal struggles. This struggle was not selfish. Chen Kun understood their feelings, and the elves had long let him treat him as a member of the elves. Therefore, there was an additional sense of seriousness in his heart. If he could successfully hatch it, he would protect the entire elves next. Abyss? The crisis of the elves? ¡®If you want to provoke the elves, you have to get past me first!¡¯ The meeting ended and Galadriel left with the golden egg. She did not give Undine a chance at all. ¡°Your Majesty, what are you busy with today?¡± On the way to the bedchamber, Galadriel was stopped by the sudden appearance of Tricia. ¡°So it¡¯s you, little guy, but I can¡¯t reveal this to you for the time being.¡± ¡°I¡¯m just a little curious. Your Majesty, can you tell me? I promise not to tell anyone.¡± Galadriel knelt down and patted her head gently. ¡°If I told you, the three elders would scold me.¡± ¡°Can you bear to see me scolded?¡± After being rejected, her soft little face suddenly looked like a bitter gourd. Chen Kun, who was lying in the egg, subconsciously sensed Tricia¡¯s thoughts. ¡°Get your dirty hands off the top of my head, disgusting elf!¡± Chen Kun froze, his gaze locked on Tricia, who was in front of Galadriel. ¡®Kids won¡¯t say things like that!¡¯ Immediately after, more thoughts made him feel a sincere sense of danger! Chapter 33 - Strike First Chapter 33 Strike First Chen Kun felt terrible! No wonder he had felt that something was wrong when Tricia was born. Moreover, he often felt that she was staring at him. So everything he sensed was true! Through his thoughts, he realized that this seemingly cute Tricia was not a good person at all! After all, he had been in the elves for a long time, so Chen Kun had some understanding of the Abyss Lord. That was a powerful demigod comparable to Galadriel, the ruler of the billions of demons in the Abyss! Three hundred and fifty years ago, she had led the Abyss to invade the entire Dolan Continent. The Continent had paid a painful price to resist her invasion. Later, the elves¡¯ demigods sacrificed their lives to seal the abyss again. Chen Kun really did not expect Tricia¡¯s soul to be a part of the Abyss Lord! It was obvious that Galadriel had not noticed this at all. Looking at the big eyes that kept sizing him up, Chen Kun honestly panicked. One had to know that she was a powerful demigod in her body! Through her thoughts, it was obvious that she was interested in him. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect the Abyss to have invaded to this extent. I wonder if there are any other traitors among the elves!¡± Chen Kun couldn¡¯t help but think of the fellow called Lehr that Galadriel and the others had mentioned before. If there was more than one such traitor, the elves would not be able to deal with it at all! Thinking of the terrifying consequences, Chen Kun¡¯s expression could not help but become much more serious. But he had no way of communicating with others now. What should he do? After a short thought, Chen Kun made a decision. There was a fierce look in his eyes as he looked at Tricia. In this situation, he could only strike first! It seemed that Tricia did not know his exact situation now. He could take advantage of the situation before she realized it. He would destroy her in advance! Whether it was for himself or the elves, Chen Kun had to do this! At this moment, the Abyss Lord, who was pretending to be cute, was also stunned. For a moment just now, she felt as if she had been targeted by a terrifying creature. But that feeling disappeared in an instant. ¡°I think it¡¯s an illusion.¡± She comforted herself. After all, this was Jadeite City. Other than elves, no other life could exist. Although she could touch the golden egg at this angle, it was impossible to snatch something in front of Galadriel. Therefore, after a simple chat with Galadriel, the Abyss Lord pretended to leave in disappointment. ¡°Little guy, when you grow up, you¡¯ll know all the secrets of the elves.¡± Galadriel watched Tricia leave, her eyes with anticipation. filled Chen Kun could feel Galadriel¡¯s thoughts and hated this Abyss Lord even more. It was hard to imagine how Galadriel would feel if she found out about Tricia¡¯s betrayal. When they returned to the bedchamber, Chen Kun was placed directly on the bed, and Galadriel went to shower as usual. After staying with the elves for so long, he had actually learned their language. However, Chen Kun had no intention of telling Galadriel about this through words. He had his own plans. Late at night, Galadriel was already sound asleep. The golden egg slowly crawled out of the blanket. Normally, Galadriel would have woken up. However, over the past few years, Chen Kun had secretly mastered many abilities, such as being able to completely hide his aura. Reaching the window, he pictured the guard position near the bedchamber. Immediately after, a spatial rift appeared in front of Chen Kun. He controlled the golden egg to enter. He could hide his aura but still be discovered by the guards nearby. This was his second ability. He could walk directly through a spatial crack in a certain area. In this state, even a demigod like Galadriel wouldn¡¯t notice him! He had done this experiment himself before. Chen Kun passed by the rooms of the elves. Most of the elves were quietly sleeping. In order not to ruin the elves¡¯ beautiful dreams, Chen Kun had to guarantee that he would deal with the Abyss Lord as soon as possible. Soon, Chen Kun arrived at Tricia¡¯s room. Without any hesitation, Chen Kun instantly appeared in front of her through the spatial crack. Although the sharp Abyss Lord sensed it immediately, it was too late. Chen Kun smashed her forehead unceremoniously. As strong as the Abyss Lord was, her body would hurt now. The Abyss Lord was stunned by the sudden attack. Immediately after, the bone crown on Chen Kun¡¯s head instantly expanded, then completely enveloped Tricia and Chen Kun on the bed. Their auras completely disappeared from this world, and all sound was completely isolated. ¡°What is this place?¡± Only then did the Abyss Lord recover from the pain. The attack just now actually made her soul ache. But she didn¡¯t even see what had attacked her. At this moment, the Abyss Lord¡¯s figure slowly appeared. She noticed that as far as the eye could see, there was endless darkness. She was surprised to find herself back to her original form. After a short moment of confusion, she finally figured out her surroundings. She was in the mental realm now. In the mental realm, no soul could hide its essence. ¡°So I¡¯m being watched. Has my identity been exposed?¡± As soon as the thought occurred, she thought of Galadriel and the four demigods. To be honest, she was a little flustered at this moment because she would definitely suffer if these guys attacked at the same time. But she quickly rejected that answer because she didn¡¯t feel the aura of the elves. After confirming that it was not Galadriel and the others, the Abyss Lord heaved a sigh of relief. ¡°As long as it¡¯s not those demigods, who can do anything to me in the mental domain?¡± However, as soon as she said this, she felt a very terrifying pressure. ¡°Stop pretending!¡± The Abyss Lord was not afraid of this at all. Her body became much larger as the black aura surged. But a second later, a subconscious sense of crisis made her look behind her. Something squirmed in the endless darkness. She immediately got into position, but then an eye larger than her current size appeared. At this moment, the Abyss Lord froze, as if time had stopped around it. The pressure from the depths of her soul made him tremble! Chapter 34 - Taming the Abyss Lord Chapter 34 Taming the Abyss Lord Slash! A strong wind blew so hard that the Abyss Lord almost lost his balance. She could feel the eye staring at her! Immediately after, the darkness around her gradually dissipated as if she had encountered sunlight in her mental domain. The next moment, her eyes were filled with shock! She saw a creature so huge that she could not see the end of it staring at her! The strong wind just now was the breath of the creature in front of him! In a daze, she seemed to feel the suffocation of seeing those powerful beings again. ¡°What kind of creature is this?¡± Even with the Abyss Lord¡¯s knowledge, he couldn¡¯t tell what this monster was. This also made the shock in her heart stronger. Black mist surged across her body. She forced herself to calm down. Looking at the huge creature in front of her, she quickly made a judgment. This was the mental world. According to the sudden attack just now, all of this was very likely just an illusion implanted in his brain. With that in mind, a spear of long black fur appeared in her hand. Just as she was about to break the illusion, a huge claw descended from the sky. ¡°Ah!¡± The Abyss Lord felt as if her soul had been struck by lightning. The black fog on her body was instantly dispersed, and then she was grabbed by a huge claw. ¡°How is that possible?¡± She was in disbelief. Then, without giving her a chance to struggle, the claw suddenly exerted strength. Facing this strange power that could directly crush souls, her heart skipped a beat. At this rate, her soul would definitely explode! ¡°Please don¡¯t kill me. We can discuss anything else!¡± Facing the threat of her soul shattering, even she had no choice but to lower her pride. ¡°Tsk, I thought you were some tough guy. I didn¡¯t expect you to be so soft.¡± The huge creature¡¯s sudden mockery made the Abyss Lord turn pale. It was actually a dragon transformed from Chen Kun¡¯s mind. This was also an authority he had obtained in the past. He could transform into a dragon in the spiritual domain, but he had never used it in actual combat. After using the Philosopher¡¯s Blood this time, not only did he obtain a new authority, but this authority also increased greatly. Suddenly, he felt a pain in his palm. He sneered and exerted strength in his palm again. ¡°I just have a few questions for you, but I can¡¯t guarantee your soul¡¯s safety if you¡¯re dishonest.¡± At this moment, the Abyss Lord was having trouble breathing. She nodded quickly when she heard the monster speak. ¡°I¡ I¡¯ll definitely cooperate!¡± Chen Kun sneered. He could clearly feel that the Abyss Lord was still quietly gathering strength. The dragon claw suddenly exerted strength. This time, the Abyss Lord could not even scream. Her body twisted under the huge force of the dragon claw! Only then did the Abyss Lord finally understand the difference between her and the monster in front of her. ¡°I¡¯ll tell you anything you ask, but please let me catch my breath. My soul won¡¯t be able to 11 hold on much longer¡¡¯ She gave up her last resistance. At this critical juncture, staying alive was all that mattered. ¡°If your answer pleases me, I¡¯ll naturally let you go.¡± ¡°Okay, ask quickly!¡± The Abyss Lord now felt that her soul would be crushed at any moment. She did not want to die here! ¡°How did you get in?¡± Without hesitation, the Abyss Lord described the entire process from the beginning to how it infiltrated. Hearing the familiar name, Chen Kun asked again. ¡°You mean you¡¯re alone?¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. I promise I¡¯m not lying to you. Can you¡ I can¡¯t take it anymore¡¡¯ Hearing her say that it was only him, Chen Kun heaved a sigh of relief. ¡°So it¡¯s just because of the bone dragon.¡± This was the mental domain. Chen Kun did not have to worry that she would lie. However, on second thought, she should only be an example in the Abyss. After all, the price of sneaking in like this was too high. If he was accidentally discovered and his soul avatar was destroyed, his main body would probably be severely injured. It had to be said that this Abyss Lord was really willing to commit herself. However, this also overturned Chen Kun¡¯s previous worries. He had thought that he would be busy for at least the entire night. On the other hand, the Abyss Lord wanted to die. She had answered so many questions, but the other party still did not let her go! At this moment, her soul was already on the verge of collapse, and her entire body was like a flattened bottle. This was also something Chen Kun had deliberately maintained at this level, just enough for her to maintain in front of him. ¡°Don¡¯t say I don¡¯t keep my word. What you¡¯ve done is enough for me to kill you ten times over.¡± Hearing this, the Abyss Lord¡¯s heart turned completely cold. Chen Kun did not want to kill her so casually. One had to know that her status in the Abyss was very high. If he provoked the Abyss to take revenge, it would be quite troublesome for the current elves. Therefore, he planned to leave a soul mark on the soul of the Abyss Lord and make her his servant. This was an ability he had mastered when he obtained soul power, and he had never had the chance to practice it. ¡°Now I¡¯ll give you a chance to live. If you agree, I¡¯ll let you go immediately.¡± The Abyss Lord nodded quickly. Then a dragon-shaped golden mark appeared in front of her. At the same time, the huge claw finally let go of her. ¡°Swallow this and we¡¯ll sign a contract. This way, from now on, you and I will be master and servant.¡± Chen Kun explained considerately. When the Abyss Lord heard this, madness appeared in her eyes. Sensing the abnormality of the Abyss Lord, Chen Kun wanted to laugh. She still did not know that he was the absolute ruler here! The Abyss Lord¡¯s soul had just expanded when it was struck by lightning. To her horror, she realized that she could not control her soul to self-destruct! ¡°Don¡¯t blame me. You¡¯re the one who refused.¡± The golden dragon seal instantly entered her body, and the Abyss Lord¡¯s eyes fell into a daze. ¡°Damn it!¡± In the Abyss, on a throne made of skeletons, the Abyss Lord suddenly woke up from her sleep. An angry roar echoed through the entire bottom of the Abyss. ¡°It¡¯s just a wisp of my soul. Do you really think you can control me?¡± She stared resentfully in the direction of the elves. A ball of light appeared in front of her. As long as she destroyed it, the sub-soul there would disappear. Although the soul trauma might not be healed in hundreds of years, she couldn¡¯t care less. In the next moment, she froze. ¡°How is that possible?!¡± The Abyss Lord trembled as its consciousness instantly switched to the spiritual world. A golden mark actually appeared on her dark and corrupt main soul. In an instant, her soul was planted with a contract of obedience. Chapter 35 - Existence at the Bottom of the Abyss Chapter 35 Existence at the Bottom of the Abyss The Abyss Lord stared blankly at the golden mark between her soul¡¯s brows. She had never expected failure to come so suddenly. She had clearly hidden well and could have taken that egg away soon! But now, not only had she been discovered, but she had also been planted with a soul mark. She had never regretted it more than now. From the beginning when the bone dragon disappeared, she should not have courted death by investigating! On the other side, Tricia slowly opened her eyes. She saw the golden egg flying away from her, and the bone dragon that was holding her had returned to its original crown. Looking at the golden egg floating in front of her, Tricia was in despair. Although she knew that the golden egg was a holy relic of the elves, she had never treated it as a threat. In the end, she did not expect to fall into the hands of the golden egg! At this moment, she was filled with hatred and could not wait to shatter this golden egg now. However, because of the soul mark, she actually knelt down of her own accord and bowed to the golden egg like a servant. The humiliating gesture made her want to die. ¡°Tell me about the Abyss. I don¡¯t suppose you¡¯re the strongest in the Abyss?¡± Because the two of them had already reached a contract, Chen Kun¡¯s words could be directly transmitted to Tricia¡¯s consciousness. The reason Chen Kun said that was because he had also sensed the strength of the Abyss Lord when he reached the soul contract. Although she was very strong, it was obvious that with her strength, it was impossible for her to cause such serious damage to the elves back then. The Abyss Lord wanted to refuse to answer this question, she could not resist the soul mark at all. However, as the Abyss Lord spoke, Chen Kun¡¯s expression gradually turned solemn. Just as he had guessed, this Abyss Lord was not the strongest combatant in the Abyss. In the Abyss, to be precise, at the lowest level, thirteen Demon Gods were sealed. These Demon Gods were all sealed by Heaven during the Ancient War. The Abyss Lord was not the only existence in the Abyss. There were hundreds of Lords like her in the Abyss! Not to mention the thirteen Demon Gods, just the hundreds of Abyss Lords alone already made Chen Kun feel troubled. It was difficult to imagine what it would be like if hundreds of guys with demigod strength rushed out together. Through the description of the Abyss Lord in front of him, Chen Kun finally understood the reason for this Abyssal invasion 350 years ago. If the Demon Gods had not been sealed, the target of the Abyss would not have been the human world. The Demon God¡¯s main opponent was Heaven. However, the battlefield of both sides had always been silently set in the human world. The situation this time was a little different. In order to escape the seal, the Demon Gods under the abyss took the opportunity to get this Abyss Lord to launch the nearest Abyssal invasion 350 years ago. The main mission of all the Abyssal monsters was to collect the flesh and blood of living beings. Then, she fed this flesh to the Demon Gods sealed below. ¡°But we underestimated the number of experts in the human world. The power of the elves is beyond imagination.¡± ¡°After all, it¡¯s a race protected by the Elven Goddess. Because of them, our invasion ultimately failed.¡± Chen Kun thought for a moment and said, ¡°Continue. What happened after that?¡± ¡°In your words, there should be more than a hundred Abyss Lords. Why are you the only one now?¡± Tricia didn¡¯t resist. She honestly told him what had happened after the Abyssal invasion. The loss at that time caused the dissatisfaction of many Abyss Lords. In their understanding, the human world had always been very weak. Therefore, in the Abyssal War, they had only sent half of the Abyss Lords. However, these Abyss Lords did not choose to continue attacking in the end. This was because as the combat power of the Abyss, they had to preserve their strength. After all, they had invaded the human world only to collect flesh and blood, and their main goal was heaven. Therefore, in the end, only a few Abyss Lords were left active outside. Gradually, the other Abyss Lords also fell asleep. All the work of collecting flesh and blood fell to Tricia. ¡°That¡¯s what¡¯s going on in the Abyss.¡± Chen Kun nodded. He was not worried that Tricia would play any tricks on him. However, with the current number of Abyssal Demon Gods, it was indeed a little troublesome. One had to know that the highest combat strength of the elves was Galadriel. But this guy in front of him was already on par with Galadriel. Although he did not have to worry too much about the Demon Gods now, he had to plan ahead. Fortunately, their main target was not the human world. Otherwise, the Dolan Continent would have been completely devoured 350 years ago. ¡°I wonder if I can compete with the Demon Gods she mentioned after hatching.¡± While thinking about how powerful those Demon Gods were, this thought suddenly appeared in Chen Kun¡¯s mind. He had not hatched now and had relied on his unlocked authority to successfully take down this woman in front of him. After hatching, he would definitely obtain more authority. At that time¡ After looking forward to his bright future, Chen Kun suddenly thought of something. ¡°By the way, I¡¯m also curious. You can¡¯t just be called an Abyss Lord, right?¡± ¡°Do you have a name of your own?¡± Chen Kun had not heard her name from the beginning. This question stunned Tricia. After a moment, she gave an answer. ¡°I don¡¯t have a name.¡± ¡°The Abyss Lord is the collective name of all of us. This is also the glory given to us by the Demon Gods.¡± ¡°We can make the enemy cower when facing us.¡± This amused Chen Kun. To put it bluntly, they were tools that did not even have their names. ¡°It¡¯s too much trouble to call it that. Didn¡¯t Galadriel give you a name? From now on, you¡¯ll be called Tricia.¡± ¡°Yes, Master.¡± Tricia wanted to refuse, but the soul mark wouldn¡¯t allow her to speak at all. He knew almost everything he needed to know. Chen Kun gave one last instruction. ¡°Report to me about the Abyss at any time, if you don¡¯t want your main soul to be destroyed.¡± As she watched the golden egg float away, countless water elemental magic power immediately appeared in Tricia¡¯s room. The magic formed a circle around her. Then, countless black auras spread out from her body. In the spiritual world, Tricia looked at the black sea that had appeared ahead of her and jumped in without hesitation. However, immediately after, the black sea constructed by the power of the Abyss actually began to boil quickly! ¡°Damn it, I can¡¯t get rid of it!¡± In the abyss, Tricia opened her eyes fiercely. She looked like she was in pain too. She had tried to remove the soul mark just now, but not only was it useless, but her soul had actually been corroded! Chapter 36 - Undercurrents Chapter 36 Undercurrents It was the next day. The first thing Galadriel did when she woke up was to check on the golden egg. Seeing it lying there safe and sound, Galadriel smiled and kissed the eggshell. But in fact, every time Galadriel saw that the golden egg had not changed, she would feel a little anxious. Because she had been looking forward to seeing the creature in the egg break out one morning. ¡°I want to break out of the shell too, but there¡¯s really nothing I can do with my bloodline.¡± Sensing Galadriel¡¯s thoughts, Chen Kun, who was lying in the egg, replied helplessly. The golden egg, on the other hand, ran into Galadriel¡¯s arms and rubbed against her. Today, she needed to test the results of the little elf¡¯s magic cultivation, so Galadriel brought the golden egg to the classroom early. All the little elves had a look of anticipation on their faces. They also wanted to know the results of their studies during this period of time. Galadriel placed the golden egg on the table and announced the next test. Tricia was sitting below now, her gaze fixed on the golden egg beside Galadriel. Her mind replayed the humiliation of the night before. Soon the test began. Aurora and Tricia both achieved good results. After being liberated, the two of them also ran toward the golden egg. But Aurora was still a step too slow. Tricia took the lead and hugged the golden egg. This scene filled her little face with question marks. ¡°I thought you didn¡¯t like holding your balls much in the past, Tricia?¡± ¡°I¡ I want to play with her for a while today. Can you give me this opportunity?¡± ¡°Of course. Then I¡¯ll play with the others, but you have to let go of Eggy if she doesn¡¯t want to.¡± Although Aurora was reluctant to part with the golden egg, she agreed. At this moment, Tricia was suffering. Now, she had become a slave to this egg. That¡¯s right, this was all Chen Kun¡¯s order. After the test was over, Galadriel would give them time to move around. This was nothing. It was mainly because these little girls liked to run around with him in their arms. There would also be some competition during the process. These young elves had yet to familiarize themselves with magic and would often accidentally injure Chen Kun. Although his shell was hard enough, Galadriel had already agreed to use the Elf Dew on him. He didn¡¯t want anything to go wrong at this critical moment. Galadriel, who had just finished the test, also saw a strange scene. Tricia, who rarely interacted with the golden egg, was actually sitting at the side with the golden egg in her arms. Slyph, who had finished registering, could not help but be curious when she saw this. ¡°I thought Tricia didn¡¯t like the golden egg. Now it seems to work.¡± ¡°That¡¯s normal. Perhaps Tricia is just a little arrogant. She might have liked the golden egg a long time ago.¡± After Galadriel finished speaking, she turned around and asked, ¡°How¡¯s the preparation for unsealing the Elf Dew?¡± ¡°It¡¯s almost ready. The other elders are in place, but because the seal set back then is too powerful. ¡°I ¡°That¡¯s why it will take a few days to completely dissolve the seal.¡± Galadriel nodded. ¡°That¡¯s good. Remember to keep this strictly confidential.¡± Nearby, Tricia was still holding the golden egg in the same position as before. Chen Kun, who was in the golden egg, had long heard their conversation through his outstanding hearing. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect the Elf Dew to even need to be sealed. Looks like I can completely get rid of this eggshell after this!¡± Chen Kun was agitated. Trish sensed his emotions and was puzzled. But she had been denied the right to speak, so she was not even qualified to ask questions. At this moment, outside the Golden Forest. A few elf envoys flew across the ground quickly, their powerful perception covering the outer area of this golden forest. However, as soon as they flew away, a man walked out of the shadows. Clearly, he was not an ordinary human. Otherwise, he would have been discovered long ago. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect the elves to become so much stronger. The information was indeed right.¡¯ The man¡¯s voice was a little hoarse. Although he looked like a young man, his eyes flickered with depths that did not belong to his appearance. He came slowly to the boundary of the Golden Forest, then stopped. Crouching, he took out a gauze shirt as thin as a cicada¡¯s wing from the backpack he carried. He could see three rings symbolizing identity and status on his fingers. There was only one human on the current Dolan Continent who could receive such treatment. ¡®Demigod Magister Jax.¡¯ He had participated in the Abyssal War 350 years ago and knew Galadriel. However, the fundamental positions of both sides were different after all, so they did not interact much after the war. The reason why he came this time was that the elves had been frequently collecting materials for the Philosopher¡¯s Blood for more than ten years. Although there were many materials that could be collected, some too rare materials could only be bought. This also caused the news to leak. Although the elves had never been a combative race, such a thing would inevitably attract the attention of the various empires. Therefore, although the three empires maintained the war on the surface, they still secretly entrusted it to Jax. The purpose of Jax¡¯s trip was to completely figure out what the elves were doing collecting so many materials for the Philosopher¡¯s Blood. This was because the elves had always prided themselves on being noble. Although the Philosopher¡¯s Blood was the item with the richest magic power on this continent, with the arrogance of the elves, it was unlikely to be used. All kinds of anomalies also interested Jax. ¡°I hope I get something this time.¡± In order to successfully infiltrate the Golden Forest, Jax even specially brought the divine veil. The elves had their Elven Goddess, so humans naturally had gods they believed in. This divine veil was a divine artifact that had obtained the blessing of the gods. It could completely hide a person¡¯s aura and ignore any magic defense below a high-level Forbidden Spell. Of course, such a heaven-defying divine artifact had very strict usage restrictions. Every time it was used, it had to be worshiped for five years. Jax put the divine veil on. His aura instantly disappeared like a breeze. Then he passed through the outermost magic barrier of the Golden Forest without resistance. A few days later, the most tightly guarded barrier of Forbidden Spells rose in the Jadeite City as usual. Galadriel¡¯s solemn-looking hand held a transparent bottle. Although the bottle was small, this contained the hundreds of years of hard work of the entire elves! Chapter 37 - Covetous Person Chapter 37 Covetous Person Undine holds the golden egg in her arms, the other two elders close behind. Everyone arrived under the Ancient Elven Tree. Gwen and the other elven envoys hung high in the sky, their vision just covering the entire Jadeite City. Aurora and the others were outside the city now, but the elves seemed used to this scene. Tricia sat in the shade of a tree. She could only hope that something had happened inside. If only she could damage the golden egg. At that time, she might have a chance to break free of the contract. Bang! The Bone Dragon Sark slowly landed in front of the Ancient Elven Tree, its huge skeleton revealing an incomparable pressure. The two dots of blue in his eye sockets kept scanning the surroundings. When everything was ready, Galadriel and the other three elders exchanged glances. The three of them stepped forward and formed a square array with Galadriel. The golden egg was at the center of the array. Above it was the Elf Dew brought by Galadriel. Outside Jadeite City, the elves were paying attention to the seventeen elf envoys in the peaceful sky. Every one of their faces was filled with joy and anticipation. This was because they knew that every time it was sealed, the Ancient Elven Tree would burst with even richer vitality. All the elves did not notice that a human had appeared here a long time ago. Jax stood in a treetop and looked doubtfully at the elves gathered below. From the beginning, he had noticed that the elves who were patrolling the periphery of the Golden Forest had suddenly returned to Jadeite City. He had thought there was some mission arrangement until all the elves in Jadeite City left in a very short time. Only then did Jax realize that things didn¡¯t seem simple because there were still many armed Elven guards among the elves who had left the Jadeite City. This was obviously not normal. Immediately after, he felt a Forbidden Spell envelop the surroundings of the Jadeite City. The seventeen elves also appeared in the sky above the city. All kinds of situations raised countless doubts in his heart. What could have made the elves so wary? Moreover, from the expressions of the elves, it didn¡¯t look like anything bad. Every elf looked a little expectant. Jax had wanted to learn something from the elves¡¯ conversation, but unfortunately, these elves had no idea what was going on inside. Therefore, he moved closer. At this moment, he was one step closer to Jadeite City. His divine veil could avoid the Forbidden Spells around Jadeite City, but he had no intention of entering. Although he was curious, Jax knew the strength and foundation of the elves very well. Here, he might be able to rely on the divine veil to hide, but if he went in, it was hard to say. The Ancient Elven Tree itself contained very powerful magic power, and it had a characteristic. It could invalidate approaching divine artifacts. This ability alone was enough to deter Jax, not to mention that the elves had five demigods. Gwen had just advanced, so it was naturally no trouble to him. There were four left. At most, he could fight the weakest Slyph to a draw. Therefore, until he obtained useful information, he would never risk going in to die. At this moment, under the Ancient Elven Tree, the four of them were still in the same posture as before, guiding the array. At this moment, two interconnected magic barriers had already appeared around the Ancient Elven Tree. On the barrier, one could vaguely see an elf holding a holy sword. This was the Intermediate Forbidden Spell, Whisper of the Elf Queen. The few of them knew how powerful the Elf Dew was. Under normal circumstances, it would cause a huge magic fluctuation. Therefore, they had to take precautions in advance. Suddenly, a heartbeat came from Jadeite City. This attracted the attention of all the elves in the sky. They also instantly erupted with a stronger aura. The Forbidden Spell also circulated at high speed under the push of the seventeen people. The entire Jadeite City was wrapped in complicated runes. The beating of his heart naturally attracted Jax¡¯s attention. Finally, unable to suppress his curiosity, he leaned closer. At this moment, he had already entered the Jadeite City. Standing on the city wall, he looked in the direction of the heartbeat. The next moment, an incomparably majestic life fluctuation instantly spread. Jax immediately hid in shock. Then, an exceptionally pure life aura began to spread throughout the entire Jadeite City. These two auras were completely different, but the latter definitely came from the Ancient Elven Tree! Jax was shocked at the thought. Was the Ancient Elven Tree about to recover? To be honest, if someone else had told him this news, he would never have believed it. Because Jax had participated in the Abyssal War back then, he knew very well how seriously the Ancient Elven Tree had been injured. The elves had been searching for all kinds of methods to heal the Ancient Elven Tree for a hundred years, but they still could not stop the decline of the Ancient Elven Tree. Long ago, humans had been extremely dissatisfied with the elves occupying the Golden Forest. Elven experts kept appearing, including Jax, who felt that it had something to do with the Golden Forest. However, the elves had such rich resources, but they claimed to be peace-loving. It was absolutely unacceptable to greedy humans. However, the strength of the elves was there, so although the humans had ideas, they were only thoughts. Then, the attack of the Abyss completely changed everything. It was also from that time that humans targeted the Golden Forest. It could be said that countless human factions were paying attention to the Ancient Elven Tree that was closely related to the elves. As long as the Ancient Elven Tree was completely declared dead, the human factions would find an opportunity to attack. After all, the entire Golden Forest was a very precious wealth to humans. But now, the Ancient Elven Tree was actually showing signs of recovery. This was absolutely unacceptable to humans! Jax wrote a letter with his magic. With the enhancement of the divine veil, the letter turned into a transparent bird and flew out of the Golden Forest. Although he still hadn¡¯t figured out what was going on inside, this information was enough. But as Jax was about to turn and leave, he suddenly thought of something else. ¡°Then how did the heartbeat come?¡¯ After a moment¡¯s hesitation, Jax decided to take the risk of staying and observing. He entered the city carefully, surrounded by a rich life force. This came from the Ancient Elven Tree. This life force could be directly converted into magic power by the elves, but unfortunately, humans could not. Further ahead, Jax could even feel the roots of the Ancient Elven Tree spreading and growing under his feet. Only then did Jax realize that he had underestimated the recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree. His intuition told him that the heartbeat was related to its recovery. ¡°I want to see what treasure the elves have found that can revive the Ancient Elven Tree in such a short period of time.¡± Chapter 38 - Earth-Shattering Chapter 38 Earth-Shattering Commotion Twenty minutes ago. The four of them completed the guidance of the Intermediate Forbidden Spell. Except for Galadriel, the other three did not look happy. Although the Whisper of the Elf Queen was only an Intermediate Forbidden Spell, its defense was already comparable to an Advanced Forbidden Spell. Of course, the price was that it would consume a lot of the user¡¯s magic power. Fortunately, the four of them were all demigod-level experts. Otherwise, this consumption would definitely be unbearable. Galadriel stepped forward and opened the Elf Dew under the three of their gazes. Boom! A lightning-fast magic power spread around the little elf. However, this magic power was blocked by the Forbidden Spell cast by the four of them. At this moment, an eye-catching blue liquid appeared above the golden egg. Then, it actually transformed into a little elf! But it was not over. The magic that spread from the little elf turned into all kinds of wild beasts. The beasts lunged at Galadriel ferociously, but in an instant, Galadriel knocked them back to their magic form. The elf transformed from the Elf Dew suddenly became a sword and stabbed at Galadriel. Galadriel grabbed it, and a large amount of magic power surged in her hand. This magic power instantly formed chains that locked the Elf Dew tightly. Finally, the Elf Dew could not withstand the pressure and returned to its original form. Without hesitation, she dripped the Elf Dew on the eggshell. When the Elf Dew fused into the eggshell, Galadriel and the others¡¯ breathing became much lower. Four pairs of eyes were fixed on the golden egg. Suddenly, they seemed to have an illusion, as if this golden egg had become a creature that made them fear! A terrifying aura hit the elves¡¯ shoulders like a heavy hammer. ¡°The creature inside is¡ terrifying.¡± Undine couldn¡¯t help but speak, but it was not over. Immediately after, a powerful heartbeat came from inside the golden egg. ¡°Knock, knock!¡± The voice seemed to penetrate the world. Even the Whisper of the Elf Queen could not stop it. It passed through the magic barrier and through the Ancient Elven Tree! When the voice entered their ears, Galadriel and the others felt as if their souls were facing this shocking heartbeat! What kind of terrifying creature could trigger such a powerful heartbeat? This thought appeared in their minds at the same time, but in the next moment, they came back to their senses. They could not let the aura here be revealed! A drop of blood floated out of the fingertips of the four of them at the same time. When the blood touched the Whisper of the Elf Queen, it instantly dissipated like cotton candy in water. A faint pink color appeared in the area covered by the Forbidden Spell. The elf holding the holy sword on the barrier was also wearing red armor! Advanced Forbidden Spell, Elf Queen¡¯s Sacred Fury! At this point, the heartbeat was finally suppressed in this world. At this moment, a large amount of clear air surged out of the golden egg crazily. The Ancient Elven Tree that came into contact with it trembled slightly. The dead leaves on the Ancient Elven Tree instantly fell, and fresh buds quickly grew from the location of the dead leaves! At this moment, Galadriel and the others were all focused on the golden egg. Although many ancient runes appeared on the surface of the golden egg after absorbing the drop of Elf Dew, there was no sign of hatching. Looking at the scales on the golden egg that seemed to have come alive, Galadriel made up her mind. The other three knew what Galadriel was thinking. They returned to the array, and a large amount of magic power instantly spewed out. It provided an endless stream of magic power to the Advanced Forbidden Spell, the Elf Queen¡¯s Sacred Fury. The second drop of Elf Dew appeared. The golden egg seemed to sense it. It took the initiative to come to Galadriel and absorb the Elf Dew. As before, the heartbeat coming from inside the golden egg was clearer. More clear air circulated in this world, finally burrowing into the branches of the Ancient Elven Tree. Of course, the target of benefits was not only the Ancient Elven Tree. Surrounded by this clear air, Galadriel and the others clearly felt the magic power in their bodies surging more smoothly. At the same time, their bodies absorbed a portion of the clear air. When this aura entered their bodies, it would instantly transform into pure magic power thousands of times stronger. This magic wandered through their bodies like a gust of wind. Logically speaking, such a large amount of unknown magic power had entered their bodies. Even demigods would probably be seriously injured, but not only did they not feel uncomfortable, but their strength also quietly increased at a very slow speed as the magic power in their bodies surged. However, even such a slow growth would have taken decades or even hundreds of years of effort in the past! Soon, the last drop of the Elf Dew fused into the golden egg. At this moment, the four of them were no longer as weak as when their magic power was consumed by the Forbidden Spell. Instead, all of them looked lively. At this moment, all of them emitted a faint luster. If they could gain a pair of wings, they would look no different from the legendary angel! At this moment, in the space sealed by the high-level Forbidden Spell, clear air filled every corner. Even the Ancient Elven Tree could not completely absorb such a huge number immediately. At this moment, looking at the Ancient Elven Tree, the healing over the past ten years had only helped it grow about a tenth of its leaves. However, one-third of the Ancient Elven Tree was already green! Looking up at the long-lost shade, Galadriel couldn¡¯t help but tear up. There was a time when she thought she would never welcome such a scene again. The other three elders were in the same mood. If not for their status, they might have hugged each other and cried long ago. But then an abnormal fluctuation attracted their attention. Galadriel was the first to react. Their main goal this time was not to heal the ancient tree! The few of them could not wait to come to the golden egg. At this moment, countless ancient runes were swimming on the surface of the golden egg. Every rune looked so obscure, but it was as if they had come into contact with it before. Crack! There was a sudden flash of lightning in the sky. The four of them looked up and their hearts skipped a beat. ¡°It triggered a phenomenon?¡± The few of them were in disbelief because even they had not triggered such a scene when they advanced to the demigod level. At this moment, an abnormally turbulent life force spewed out of the golden egg. Galadriel and the others seemed to have heard a beast roar. The sound reached their hearts as if they were in the flesh! In terms of the exuberance of life force, this golden egg was already comparable to the Ancient Elven Tree. However, immediately after, their gazes intertwined, and their eyes were filled with confusion. This golden egg had caused such a commotion. Why hadn¡¯t it hatched? Chapter 39 - Authority Unlocked Chapter 39 Authority Unlocked In fact, when Chen Kun first came into contact with the Elf Dew, his body had already begun to transform. His entire body had grown dozens of times its original size in a short period of time. The childish torso and limbs of the past had completely faded at this moment. He could feel a destructive power flowing through his body. As long as a certain part of the body entered a combat state, this power would instantly be in place! While his body underwent a huge change, countless memories hidden in his genes slowly appeared. Although they were all memory fragments, he could still barely understand a portion of them. Of course, this was all secondary. As Galadriel injected more Elf Dew outside, the many powers that came with his innate bloodline gradually woke up at this moment. Elemental Authority! Soul Authority! Spacetime Authority! Fate Authority! ¡ The lightning that had appeared in the sky earlier was only one of the powers he had tested along the way! Of course, compared to other powers, controlling lightning could only be said to be barely enough. At this moment, Chen Kun was confident that if he encountered the previous situation, He could openly and forcefully enter Tricia¡¯s soul world and become the absolute ruler! His body was still growing. Vaguely, he seemed to have touched the eggshell, which overjoyed him. This was because he had never come into contact with the eggshell before. ¡°Am I finally going to be born?¡± In his excitement, Chen Kun¡¯s mental strength instantly spread. Before he could recover, he suddenly realized that his vision seemed to have become much wider. At this moment, not only did he see Galadriel and the others looking at him nervously, but he also saw Gwen and the others with solemn expressions above the Jadeite City! Moreover, an image appeared in his mind. It was the current situation of the entire Jadeite City! The scene surprised him for a moment, but he quickly reacted. His mental strength was too strong. With his powerful mental strength, even if he was not born, he could understand anything in a certain area. ¡°This ability is really useful. I wonder how far it can go.¡± He thought to himself and continued to exert strength. Soon, his mental strength covered half of the Golden Forest! At this moment, a huge overlook appeared in his mind, and he could shrink the things in his range at any time! ¡°I already have such a terrifying ability before I hatch. If I hatch in the future¡¡± He looked forward to this possibility. His future was no longer just filled with hope. ¡°Yes? What happened?¡± Chen Kun was about to admire the scenery of the mental power domain when he felt a different aura. Then, when he placed his mental strength in a seemingly empty place outside Jadeite City, his eyes immediately revealed a look of surprise. ¡°What¡¯s-¡° At this moment, outside Jadeite City. The elves sensed it the moment the Ancient Elven Tree revived. The rich magic power with a life aura in the air made many elves involuntarily take a deep breath. Feeling the refreshment in their bodies, countless elves looked sincerely happy. Outside Jadeite City, many rare herbs also grew around the city wall under the influence of this magic power. ¡°Wow, look!¡± Not far away, Aurora saw this and quickly called out to the elves playing around her. When the little elves saw the new plant, they immediately cheered and ran over. Sitting where she was, Tricia ignored Aurora, who was waving at her from afar. At this moment, her eyes were wide and watery, and her mind was filled with question marks. She did know that the Ancient Elven Tree was being healed, but she did not expect it to be so ridiculous! Feeling the magic so thick in the air that she couldn¡¯t help but hold her breath, she really wanted to rush in and find out. ¡°Why on earth is that?¡± Tricia muttered to herself, but at that moment, the image of the golden egg suddenly appeared in her mind. ¡°Could it be¡ related to the egg¡ no, to Master?¡± ¡ Under the ancient tree, the aura of the golden egg continued to climb. Galadriel and the others had no choice but to summon magic to protect themselves from the aura. Unfortunately, the golden egg showed no signs of breaking out of its shell. Chen Kun returned to the egg, only to find that he seemed to show no signs of hatching at all. Although he could touch the eggshell, that was all. ¡°Why can¡¯t I hatch?¡± Chen Kun tried his best to extend his claws, while his wings flapped crazily. However, no matter how hard he tried, the eggshell was as calm as a mountain. In the end, he could only give up. At this moment, Galadriel and the others watched helplessly as the golden egg regained its calm as if nothing had happened. The only difference was that there were some rune patterns on the eggshell. ¡°This can¡¯t make it hatch?¡± Vieruodis lost her voice. The scene in front of her was beyond her understanding. ¡°I even wonder if it can hatch now. Why don¡¯t we just smash it open and try?¡± Beside her, Undine anxiously offered the suggestion again, but then Galadriel stepped in front of her. Undine pursed her lips and stopped talking. Galadriel was more anxious than anything else. This was because the Elf Dew used this time had already made the elves bleed. Even so, the golden egg did not hatch. One had to know that half a bottle of Elf Dew¡¯s magic power was already comparable to an ordinary demigod expert. The golden egg had absorbed an entire bottle! It had devoured the Philosopher¡¯s Blood several times before. With their knowledge, they could no longer find any creature that could withstand so much magic power before it hatched. ¡°Does such a terrifying creature really exist?¡± This was the question that appeared in the hearts of the four of them at the same time. Their eyes met, and they all understood what the other was thinking. At this moment, Slyph spoke tentatively. ¡°If, I mean if, it breaks out of its shell one day, what strength will it have?¡± This question made the few people present fall into deep thought again. With this golden egg¡¯s current magic capacity, it had to be at least a Saint Magister after hatching. Of course, this was only a conservative estimate. Just from the golden egg¡¯s current performance, the possibility of being born a demigod was not small, and it might be¡ A naturally born god! Chapter 40 - Exposed! The Egg Is Mine! Chapter 40 Exposed! The Egg Is Mine! However, this was just a guess. Unwilling to give up, the few of them waited a little longer, but the golden egg did not react at all. ¡°Looks like it won¡¯t hatch today.¡± Galadriel sighed softly, although a third of the Ancient Elven Tree had recovered today. But for some reason, she wasn¡¯t too happy. ¡°Then should we continue using the Elf Dew?¡± Galadriel shook her head at Vieruodis¡¯s question. ¡°Forget it, that¡¯s all for now. There are still many things to deal with in the elves. We can¡¯t keep occupying the Jadeite City.¡± Undine was already flying into the air. Seeing this, Gwen immediately leaned over. ¡°Enforcement Elder, how¡¯s the situation now?¡± ¡°Remove the Forbidden Spell. The Ancient Elven Tree has been healed a lot. ¡°But you don¡¯t seem very happy. Did something happen?¡± Undine shook her head. ¡°It¡¯s nothing serious. I still need you to bring people to patrol after removing the array.¡± ¡°I reckon humans will be stirring trouble near the barrier again in a while.¡± ¡°Yes!¡± Although Gwen was curious, she knew that there were questions she should not ask. Outside the Jadeite City, with a crisp sound like glass shattering, the Forbidden Spell that enveloped the entire Jadeite City instantly shattered. Then the door to the Jadeite City opened and Gwen walked out. ¡°All guards, return to your posts. Jadeite City is back to normal operation!¡± Undine landed back on the ground. Galadriel spoke, holding the golden egg. ¡°Today, I think everyone should know that the recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree caused a lot of commotion.¡± ¡°Although we hid the commotion caused by the golden egg immediately, the ancient tree has changed so drastically. We definitely can¡¯t hide it.¡± Everyone knew what Galadriel meant. Previously, because the Ancient Elven Tree had not changed much, they might be able to hide the golden egg. However, in this situation, rather than causing some unnecessary discussion, it was better to completely announce the news. ¡°I understand what you mean. I think we should inform the other elves next.¡± ¡°It will also give the elves more confidence in our future.¡± Slyph agreed with Galadriel. Vieruodis and Undine did not object. Half an hour later. Under Undine and Slyph¡¯s arrangements, all the elves were gathered in the central square of Jadeite City. They all clearly felt the drastic change in the ancient tree this time. Therefore, every elf was curious and excited. They also received news that Galadriel would announce the secret of the Ancient Elven Tree¡¯s recovery. All the elves looked at the high platform in anticipation. Soon, the three elders walked out first, followed by the three elders kneeling on one knee on the same side. Galadriel was dressed in finery, holding a golden egg with a bone crown. They were all too familiar with the golden egg, and the Elf Queen¡¯s appearance attracted cheers. This was because most elves believed that the Elf Queen was responsible for the recovery of the Ancient Elven Tree. ¡°Everyone, I think everyone knows what kind of changes have happened to the Ancient Elven Tree.¡± ¡°Ever since the Abyssal War three hundred and fifty years ago, the situation of the Ancient Elven Tree has not been optimistic.¡± ¡°I think everyone knows as well as I do what the elves were like at that time.¡± As soon as he said this, the elves below could not help but tear up. How could they not know what had happened back then? Because of the withering of the Ancient Elven Tree, not only was the number of new elves decreasing, those forces that had coveted the elves in the past gradually revealed their true colors. It could be said that half of the elves¡¯ casualties over the centuries had been due to the greed of outsiders. Galadriel paused for a moment, then continued. ¡°It wasn¡¯t until recent years that the Ancient Elven Tree finally showed signs of recovery.¡± ¡°In the past few years, after our tireless efforts, the Ancient Elven Tree has finally recovered a portion of its vitality.¡± ¡°Today, a large portion of the Ancient Elven Tree has revived. I believe it won¡¯t be long.¡± ¡°The Ancient Elven Tree is completely revitalized and brings a new future to the elves!¡± When they heard Galadriel¡¯s personal promise, a strong cheer erupted below. As for Tricia, who was raised high by an elf, she kept her eyes fixed on the golden egg in Galadriel¡¯s hand. Galadriel raised her hand, and the elves below quickly fell silent. ¡°I have another piece of news to announce. All this time, every time the Ancient Elven Tree was healed, it was because of this golden egg!¡± ¡°Let us pay our highest respects to the golden egg!¡± As soon as she said this, all the elves below were stunned. Although Tricia had guessed this would happen, she was still in disbelief. The other elves had the same thought, of course, but they knew it well. As the Elf Queen, Galadriel would never joke like this! Therefore, in the next moment, all the elves in the square knelt. Other than Tricia, every elf¡¯s face was filled with incomparable respect. Even the three elders on the high platform knelt on one knee. The golden egg was worth this honor! Galadriel looked at the elves kneeling collectively below and announced while the iron was hot. ¡°Here. I, Galadriel, announce a new order in the name of the Elven Goddess!¡± ¡°From today onwards, all the elves of the elves have to protect the golden egg unconditionally, even if they have to sacrifice their lives!¡± ¡°The golden egg is our number one priority!¡± The elves bowed their heads deeply. None of them had any objections. They knew very well that their lives were nothing compared to this golden egg. If they could sacrifice their lives to protect the golden egg, wouldn¡¯t it be an honor? But at this moment, a few huge fireballs suddenly shot out from the void! Undine and Vieruodis were the first to raise a magic barrier in the air. However, the fireball actually easily melted the Level 8 magic barrier! Boom! Just as Undine was about to continue casting her magic, a huge ice storm instantly swept through the fireballs. A magical protection was raised under Slyph¡¯s field. Galadriel, who had just finished casting the Forbidden Spell, immediately used her perception, but she could not feel any magic power that did not belong to the elves. But in the next moment, a huge hand appeared in the void. The target was Galadriel! The big hand grabbed at the golden egg! ¡°The elves¡¯ holy relic is mine!¡±
