《The Monsters I Raise Are All Beautiful Young Girls》 Chapter 1 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°It¡¯s fine, Lin Bei. Although it doesn¡¯t seem to have much combat power, it¡¯s very cute, right?¡± ¡°Be more open-minded. Besides, didn¡¯t Teacher tell us that there are no weak contract beasts, only unqualified Demon Tamers?¡± ¡°Alright, I won¡¯t talk to you anymore. I¡¯m going back to bring my seventh-grade bloodline Red Mane Lion for training. Bye!¡± At Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts academy, in an exquisitely decorated single student dormitory. Lin Bei sat alone on his bed and looked at the exceptionally cute little white cat in front of him. Its entire body was furry, and its small eyes were like gems. From time to time, it would let out a few cries for milk, melting one¡¯s body and mind. However, Lin Bei could not be happy whenever he looked at it. The reason was simple. Because this seemingly harmless little white cat was his contract beast as a Demon Tamer! At this moment, Lin Bei was very depressed. Even though the class monitor, Bai Ranran, had represented the entire class to pay him a visit, he did not feel any better. ¡°It¡¯s good if you¡¯re a quasi-Demonic Beast!¡± ¡°With this appearance, no one would believe me if I told others that you¡¯re a Dire Beast!¡± Lin Bei sighed helplessly at the little white cat in front of him. The little white cat kept looking at Lin Bei with her gem-like eyes. From time to time, she would rub her head against his thigh, as if to express her apology. Seeing it like this, Lin Bei could not help but feel guilty. He was not from this world. To be precise, Lin Bei was not from this era. The era he was in now was the Cerulean Planet a thousand years later, and today is the eighteenth year since he transmigrated here. Seven hundred years ago, the Cerulean Planet experienced a huge change. Because in the air, people found a substance that had never been found before. Spiritual energy! At the same time, it was also because of the appearance of spiritual energy that the entire Cerulean Planet underwent a huge change. For a moment, the plants and animals on the Cerulean Planet began to mutate and revert to their origins. Not only had their bodily functions been greatly enhanced, but they had also developed various unimaginable abilities. However, what was truly terrifying was that¡ a portion of them had actually developed intelligence! Among these wild beasts, those without intelligence were pure Dire Beasts, and those with intelligence would become Demonic Beasts. Moreover, these Demonic Beasts seemed to be able to continuously strengthen themselves in some way and eventually become stronger Demonic Beasts. Of course, animals and plants were not the only ones that had begun to evolve. As a member of the Cerulean Planet, Humans had also begun their own evolution, giving birth to martial artists that originally only existed in novels or movies! As Demonic Beasts were enlightened with its intelligence. They began to fight for more resources, wanting to become stronger. Just like that, the inevitable war between Humans and Demonic Beasts began. Until¡ Another even more terrifying existence began to show their fangs on the Cerulean Planet. Demonic creatures from the Catacombs! Behind the huge Two Dimensional Gate, the Catacombs demons began to invade the Cerulean Planet endlessly, fighting for resources from Humans and Demonic Beasts. They were so powerful that neither Humans nor Demonic Beasts could defeat them alone. Therefore, Humans and Demonic Beasts had reached an alliance. They vowed to eliminate all the invaders behind the Two Dimensional Gate and the demonic creatures in the Catacombs! Under such a circumstances, Demon Tamers were born. In fact, Demon Tamers were martial artists with special abilities. They could form contracts with wild, dire or Demonic Beasts and make them their combat partners. The two could grow together until the contract beast evolved to a certain level. Its strength would also be nurtured and increase by leaps and bounds. In the past few hundred years, the importance of Demon Tamers had gradually become apparent. Both Humans and Demonic Beasts began to pay more and more attention to the nurturing of Demon Tamers. At the same time, it was also thanks to the joint efforts of the Demon Tamers and Demonic Beasts that the Catacombs creatures that came from the Two Dimensional Gate were successfully expelled from the Cerulean Planet. Although they had been eyeing the Cerulean Planet covetously, it had been decades since the Cerulean Planet had seen the Catacombs¡¯ demonic creatures. Just like that, a peaceful period passed. Eventually in a time of peace, some friction between Humans and Demonic Beasts occurred, causing the relationship between the two sides to deteriorate again, although there was no large-scale war. However, small-scale conflicts never stopped. His thoughts returned to the present. Lin Bei sat on his bed, feeling extremely regretful. Why didn¡¯t he pay more attention when choosing his contract beast! Otherwise, his contract wouldn¡¯t have been taken away and eaten by this little white cat! ¡°Alas!¡± ¡°Since we¡¯re here, let¡¯s take it easy!¡± Lin Bei could only comfort himself like this. However, when he thought about how his classmate¡¯s contracted beasts were each more ferocious than the other, the Red Mane Lion, the Grassland Wolf, and even the worst one was a Hyena! Then he looked at himself! ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± Forget it, the little white cat it is then! With a single glance, it was clear that his fighting prowess was pitifully low. However, it was his contract beast after all. He could not despise it! Right! He could not despise it! As he was thinking, Lin Bei saw the little white cat yawn with her mouth wide open. Then, she lazily walked to his leg. With a kick of its legs, it jumped up and sat in Lin Bei¡¯s arms. It curled its tail and pretended to sleep. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei could only helplessly reach out and touch its head. ¡°Didn¡¯t they say that all transmigrators have cheat codes?¡± ¡°It¡¯s been 18 years since I transmigrated here. Why haven¡¯t I seen my cheat codes yet?¡± However, the moment Lin Bei finished speaking, A cold system notification sounded in his mind. [Ding! Detected that the host has successfully contracted a beast. The Strongest Demon Taming System has been activated!] [You just petted the cat and made it happy. Experience +10] [¡] Chapter 2 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios The moment the system notification sounded, Lin Bei was stunned. That voice just now seemed to be¡ A system! Lin Bei¡¯s face immediately revealed an ecstatic expression. The Strongest Demon Taming System! Wasn¡¯t this a system tailor-made for him?! Thinking of this, Lin Bei could not wait to ask. ¡°How do I use this system?¡± [Responding to the host, the Strongest Demon Taming System is activated as long as the host does something that makes the contract beast happy. You can obtain the corresponding reward. The happier the contract beast is, the more generous the reward will be.] As soon as the system finished speaking, Lin Bei rubbed his chin and pondered. This system sounded very simple. It only needed to do something that made the contract beast happy. ¡°Then, when I touched the little white cat just now, it seemed to be already happy.¡± ¡°Also, I obtained that 10 experience points. Hey, wait, what is that for?¡± [Responding to the host, experience points can be used to upgrade the host¡¯s contract beast. The amount of experience points needed to upgrade different attributes is also different. Moreover, the higher the level, the more experience points needed.] Hearing this explanation, Lin Bei nodded. [Host, please open the contract beast interface. The details can be learned through the interface. The reinforced contract beast can also be operated through this interface.] The system¡¯s voice sounded again. At the same time, a light screen the size of a chessboard that only Lin Bei could see appeared in front of him. After finding the contract beast interface, Lin Bei opened it. The next second, the content on the screen suddenly unfolded, turning into rows of data related to contract beasts. [Contracted Beast: (Unnamed) Race: Cat Current Experience: 10 Realm: Wild Beast (Lowest) Bloodline: (Bloodline is too low to be judged) Demon Power: 0 Physique: 3 (Human Basic Value: 10) Vitality: 1 (Human Basic Value: 10) Skills: None Contract Nurturing: (Too low level, unable to nurture)] His gaze swept across the contract beast interface. Although Lin Bei knew that his cat was very weak, he could not help but sigh when he saw the visual data. This¡ was too f*cking weak! It was fine if the bloodline level was too low to be evaluated, but this interface was a little too heartless. Moreover, it did not even have a skill. This was outrageous! This was simply outrageous! Guess it was fortunate that he had awakened the system. There seemed to be a way to turn things around. This was because Lin Bei noticed that other than the name and race, there was a plus sign behind the other data. This should mean that Lin Bei could use various methods to improve these stats. As he thought about it, Lin Bei stretched out his hand to try. After hesitating for a moment, he still chose to upgrade its bloodline. The moment he pressed the button, the system notification sounded in his mind again. [Bloodline upgrade, upgrade contract beast to Inferior Ninth grade, requires 50 experience points.] The moment he heard this voice, Lin Bei¡¯s face revealed an ecstatic expression again. It was really possible! It could actually increase the level of his bloodline! On the Cerulean Planet, the bloodlines of Demonic Beasts were divided into grades one to nine. The first grade was highest, and the ninth grade the lowest. Moreover, every grade was subdivided into Superior, Medium, and Inferior grades. The higher the bloodline level of a Demonic Beast, the higher the upper limit of their growth and the better their talent. In fact, most Demonic Beasts could not increase the level of their bloodline. Unless it was through the use of extreme rare treasures, or if this Demonic Beast had an extremely powerful bloodline and awakened it after birth. Otherwise, it was almost impossible to increase the level of his bloodline. If they wanted to become stronger, they could only continuously increase their realms. Even so, in the same realm, contract beasts with higher bloodlines were stronger than those with lower bloodlines. This was also the reason why Lin Bei was so excited after learning that he could increase his bloodline level. Because¡ There seemed to be no limit to the increase in the bloodline level given by the system! This also meant that he could forcefully raise his contract beast from an Unranked beast to a First-grade bloodline. In fact, he could raise it to a Top-grade bloodline! Thinking of this, Lin Bei was so excited that he had goosebumps all over his body. However, although he was excited, he only had 10 EXP now. It was not even enough to increase his Bloodline Level once. Therefore, the most important thing now was to figure out the specific method to obtain experience. ¡°Just now, the system said that as long as we do something that makes the contract beast happy, it will be fine.¡± ¡°Then¡¡± Lin Bei reached out and touched the little white cat¡¯s head again. The white cat rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s wide and warm palm with a look of enjoyment. ¡®Well¡¡¯ ¡®What¡¯s the situation?¡¯ The little white cat¡¯s happiness was written all over her face. Why hasn¡¯t the system increased my experience points yet? The system seemed to have noticed Lin Bei¡¯s confusion and came out to explain again. [Responding to the host, each method can only be used once a day. For example, today, the host has already made the cat happy by stroking it. If you use this method again, you won¡¯t be able to gain experience points.] Hearing this, Lin Bei finally understood. He looked at the little white cat again. ¡°Looks like this EXP isn¡¯t as easy to obtain as I thought.¡± ¡°Speaking of which, I don¡¯t think I¡¯ve given you a name yet, right? How about this, I¡¯ll give you a name first.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll call you¡ Whitey!¡± ¡°How about it, Whitey?¡± Although this name sounded a little casual, it suited the little white cat¡¯s image. Her fur looked white and flawless, and it¡¯s coupled with her lazy temperament. The white cat seemed to be very satisfied with this name, so she called out to Lin Bei in a childish voice. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± ¡°So you¡¯re saying yes?¡± ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± ¡°Alright! I¡¯ll call you Whitey from now on!¡± ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± After getting his name, Whitey rubbed its head against Lin Bei¡¯s thigh affectionately. At the same time, the system¡¯s voice sounded in his mind again. [You gave the cat a name. It is very happy. Experience +100] [¡] Chapter 3 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 3: This Bloodline Improvement is Too Easy! ¡°???¡± ¡°100 experience points?!¡± Lin Bei did not expect the system to reward him with 100 experience points just by giving Whitey a name. However, from Whitey¡¯s reaction, it was obvious that it was very satisfied with its name. Now, as long as Lin Bei called out this name, Whitey would meow twice in response. At the same time, in the contract beast panel, it has been renamed as Whitey. ¡°Whitey!¡± Lin Bei called out again. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± Whitey replied as he stood up from Lin Bei¡¯s lap. Seeing this, Lin Bei hugged it in his arms and rubbed his face against its soft fur lovingly. After stroking the cat for a while, Lin Bei opened the contract beast interface again. It was time to get down to business. The 100 experience points he had just obtained, plus the initial 10 experience points, now Lin Bei had a total of 110 experience points. Although it was not much, it should not be a problem to increase the bloodline level. Lin Bei¡¯s gaze swept across the contract beast interface and finally stopped at the Bloodline Level column. Without hesitation, he clicked on the plus sign at the side. [Bloodline leveling up. Would the host like to spend 50 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level to Inferior Ninth-grade?] Lin Bei nodded and replied, ¡°Yes.¡± [Bloodline upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s bloodline has successfully upgraded to the Inferior Ninth-grade!] [Ding! Detected that host¡¯s contract beast has completed the bloodline upgrade. Rewarded experience +100!] Huh? What was going on?! After confirming that his EXP was 160 points, Lin Bei believed that what he had just heard was not an illusion. He had only spent 50 EXP to level up his Bloodline. He did not expect the system to reward him with another 100 points! Damn it, this deal was not a loss! Lin Bei excitedly clicked on the plus sign next to the Bloodline Level again. He now had 160 experience points, and the next time his bloodline level increased, it would require 100 points! In other words, Lin Bei could raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level once more! [Bloodline leveling up. Do you want to spend 100 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level to Medium Ninth-grade?] Lin Bei nodded. [Bloodline upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s bloodline has successfully upgraded to the Medium Ninth-grade!] [Ding! Detected that host¡¯s contract beast has completed the bloodline upgrade. Rewarded experience +100!] As soon as the system finished speaking, Lin Bei became even more excited. Another 100 experience points were rewarded! It seemed that as long as he raised his bloodline level, the system would reward him with 100 experience points. However, it was a pity that the next bloodline level up required 200 experience points. Lin Bei only had 160 points now, so he could not level up Whitey again immediately. However¡ Although he could not level up now, earning the 40 experience points should not be difficult for him. As he thought about it, he looked at Whitey in his arms. ¡°Why don¡¯t we take a shower?¡± Ten minutes later. Lin Bei prepared a large basin of hot water for Whitey and placed it in the bathroom. Then, he turned around and carried Whitey in. Since there was no pet shampoo in the dormitory, Lin Bei did not use it on her. He only used hot water to wash its body. Whitey was also very cooperative. It did not move around in the basin. Its two front paws supported the edge of the basin so that Lin Bei could wash its body more easily. Five minutes later, Lin Bei took off his wet clothes and took a shower himself. Just like that, the man and cat walked out of the bathroom. The familiar notification sounded from the system. [You bathed Whitey and it is in a good mood. Experience +10] As expected! Lin Bei was overjoyed. Then, he took out the hairdryer he had placed by the bed and aimed it at Whitey, who was drenched. Buzz! The hairdryer was turned on, and the comfortable warm wind blew on Whitey¡¯s body, making it close its eyes in satisfaction. [You blew dry Whitey¡¯s fur. It¡¯s in a good mood. Experience +10] The experience points came again! Lin Bei smiled. After doing all this, Lin Bei blew his hair and changed into comfortable clothes. He picked up Whitey and put it back into his arms. He began to think of other ways to gain experience. ¡°Unfortunately, I¡¯ve never had a cat before. I wonder what they like to do.¡± ¡°Why don¡¯t I¡¡± ¡°Hey, wait! Raising a cat!¡± At the mention of this word, a name suddenly appeared in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. Without lingering on the bed, he immediately stood up, took out his phone, and dialed an extremely familiar number. Soon, a girl¡¯s sweet voice came from the other end of the phone. ¡°Lin Bei?¡± ¡°Yes, it¡¯s me. Can you talk now?¡± ¡°Yes, I¡¯m free. If there¡¯s anything, just say it. By the way, I¡¯ve also heard about your matter. Don¡¯t take it to heart. At most, I¡¯ll protect you in the future!¡± Hearing this, Lin Bei¡¯s heart warmed, but he quickly changed the topic. ¡°It¡¯s fine. I¡¯ve gotten over it a long time ago. I called you to ask if you know any way to make the cat happy?¡± ¡°As long as you¡¯re able to accept it. Making a cat happy¡ Actually, cats don¡¯t really need anyone to play with them. They¡¯re very happy most of the time. If you have to, you can buy her some toys or take her out for a walk or to bask in the sun.¡± ¡°Little toys, shopping and sunbathing, right? Alright, I understand! Thank you!¡± ¡°¡¡± Lin Bei hung up. On the other end of the phone, a girl in a long black dress hung up angrily when she heard the busy tone. ¡°Stupid Lin Bei, threw me away after using me!¡± Her name was Hai Xin, and she was Lin Bei¡¯s childhood friend. At the same time, Hai Xin was also the most talented girl in Sea City¡¯s number one martial arts school. Her contract beast is one with the highest bloodline level in the entire Sea City. Superior Fourth-grade, Ice Crystal Demon Fox! After saying that, Hai Xin¡¯s expression changed. Her beautiful eyes revealed some worry and concern. ¡°But I still hope that Lin Bei can get over this matter as soon as possible.¡± On the other side, in the student dormitory, Lin Bei naturally did not know what Hai Xin had said. He was still thinking about how to obtain more experience points. This way, he might be able to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline to the Eighth-grade before the class test. Chapter 4 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 4: But What Does This Have to Do with Him Being So Handsome? Lin Bei looked up at the time and finally decided to take Whitey out for a walk. If everything went well, he could go buy some pet supplies, such as pet shampoo, toys, and canned food. If he bought these things, he should be able to increase his experience points easily. Thinking of this, Lin Bei immediately sprung into action. He carried Whitey into his arms, pushed open the door, and walked out. After all, walking a cat was not the same as walking a dog. If he put Whitey on the ground and let it walk by itself, Lin Bei would probably not even be able to find its shadow in a short while. Whitey snuggled in Lin Bei¡¯s arms and rubbed against his chest from time to time. Walking out of the dormitory building of Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts school, Lin Bei looked around and finally set his destination at the center of the campus. Along the way, Lin Bei had a cat in his arms. Naturally, there were many people who turned their heads to look at him. He even saw many familiar students greeting him. However, most of them only nodded and did not come up to chat. Moreover, Lin Bei could clearly feel that their gazes were fixed on Whitey for a long time. It was not hard to tell that these people thought that it¡¯s a tragic thing that Lin Bei¡¯s contracted beast was a cat. After all, talents like Demon Tamers were considered scarce resources on the entire Cerulean Planet. He was supposed to have a bright future, but he actually contracted an ordinary cat. Who wouldn¡¯t vomit blood on the spot?! However, Lin Bei did not care about these gazes. He lowered his head and looked at Whitey lying in his arms. Then, he comforted him gently. ¡°It¡¯s okay, Whitey. Let¡¯s ignore those people.¡± ¡°This is called ¡®every cat has its day¡¯!¡± Whitey seemed to understand Lin Bei¡¯s words. It raised its head and rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s hand. [Whitey¡¯s emotions have been appeased. Experience +20] He could even gain EXP from this! After passing through the school compound, Lin Bei finally carried Whitey to the center of the green field. This was the place with the highest vegetation cover in the entire Sea City¡¯s First Martial Arts Academy. It was also commonly known as the Green Area. In addition to the large lawn, there were also various flowers planted in many areas. Men and women from the martial arts school appeared in pairs here. Even the air was filled with the smell of hormones. However, Lin Bei was not interested in this. It was no exaggeration to say that with his looks, even if he did not have the identity of a Demon Tamer, there were still many high-quality women who were willing to woo him. After finding a relatively quiet area on the field, Lin Bei put Whitey down. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± After meowing at Lin Bei, Whitey turned around and started playing. Lin Bei, on the other hand, sat cross-legged on the grass and watched Whitey bask in the sun one moment and bring back a flower next. Whitey was playing happily, and Lin Bei was especially pleased. This was because the system in his mind was constantly beeping, telling him that he had obtained an experience reward. [You sunbathed with Whitey. It is very happy. Experience +10] [You¡¯re picking flowers with Whitey. It¡¯s very happy. Experience +10] [You climbed the tree with Whitey. It feels very happy. Experience +20] [¡] In just a short while, Lin Bei had already obtained 60 experience points. At this rate, Lin Bei estimated that he could raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline to the Medium Eighth-grade at one go! After a while, Whitey seemed to be tired of playing. It returned to Lin Bei and rubbed its head against his thigh. Seeing this, Lin Bei reached out and patted its head. At this moment, coupled with this background, Sunlight, grass, cats, and a handsome young man. Good God! This is what youth is all about! There were already seniors standing at the side. The juniors had already begun to stir, but it seemed that because there were too many people around, they did not take action for a long time. After all, it was indeed too embarrassing to be rejected in front of so many people. There were also some timid girls who could only take out their phones and secretly record this beautiful scene. Of course, a small number of people recognized Lin Bei and began to whisper. ¡°Do you know? He¡¯s Lin Bei! The Demon Tamer who contracted a cat!¡± ¡°A cat? Why would he contract a cat? Is he a Demon Tamer or a Beast Tamer? Hahahahaha!¡± ¡°Alright, shut up. It¡¯s so noisy! Is the cat the one beside him?¡± ¡°Yes, it¡¯s quite tragic. A good Demon Tamer actually contracted a cat.¡± ¡°But he¡¯s so handsome!¡± ¡°But he contracted a cat! A cat without any combat power!¡± ¡°But what does that have to do with him being handsome?¡± ¡°¡¡± More and more people began to notice Lin Bei. However, he did not notice this because he was carefully observing Whitey in front of him. It seemed to be trying to catch the first butterfly in its cat life. At this moment, it bent down and its round eyes widened like copper bells as it stared at the yellow butterfly in front of it. The butterfly flew very quickly and without any pattern. Obviously, the spiritual energy in the air had a considerable impact on the butterfly, increasing its flying ability. Catching it was not an easy task. However, in the next second, before Lin Bei could react, Whitey¡¯s body suddenly moved. It was as light as an arrow that had left the bow and flew straight towards the butterfly. Precision and elegance. Before the yellow butterfly could change its direction, Whitey pressed it under its claws. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei was also shocked. The speed just now was so fast that even he could not react in time! Although he was a Demon Tamer, he was also a martial artist. Although his reaction speed could not be compared to other combat professions, it was much better than ordinary people. Even so, he did not see Whitey¡¯s actions clearly. It had to be said that the experience points were not wasted! However, just as Lin Bei was sighing, the system notification sounded in his mind again. [You caught the butterfly with Whitey. It feels very happy. Experience +30] Another 30 experience points! The corners of Lin Bei¡¯s mouth curled up into a happy smile. Chapter 5 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Time passed quickly. In a short while, two hours had passed. Lin Bei looked down at the time and then at Whitey in his arms. He picked it up and prepared to go buy some pet supplies. Now that he had 320 experience points, it should be enough to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline to Superior Ninth-grade. However, it was still a little lacking to advance to an Inferior Eighth-grade. Therefore, Lin Bei could only hope that the pet shop has something he could buy that would make Whitey happy. An hour later. Lin Bei walked out of the pet shop with two shopping bags, one big and one small. The sweet-looking lady at the door was smiling at him. Before she left, she made sure to say: ¡°Please come again!¡± Hearing this, Lin Bei could only turn his head and force a smile. Whitey stood on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Fortunately, it was not too heavy now. It was as small as a doll and did not feel too obvious when it stood on Lin Bei¡¯s body. However, from the expression on Whitey¡¯s face, it could be seen that it was very happy. [You accompanied Whitey to the pet shop. It was very happy. Experience +100] 100 experience points! The system notification immediately perked Lin Bei up. He did not expect to gain 100 experience points at once! This was only to buy supplies. If he really used them, he would probably obtain more experience. At the thought of this, the gloominess on Lin Bei¡¯s face was swept away. In an instant, he felt that the month¡¯s worth of living expenses he had just spent were worth it. After another half an hour, Lin Bei finally brought Whitey home. As soon as he reached home, Whitey jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and ran to the sofa. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei did not know whether to laugh or cry. No wonder people said that raising a cat meant raising an ancestor at home. In the past, Lin Bei did not understand and felt that this sentence was just an exaggeration. But looking at it now¡ it was indeed so! After packing up the pet supplies he had bought, Lin Bei rummaged through the bag and found a box of canned food. ¡°This will be your dinner tonight.¡± When he opened the can, the fragrance of meat wafted into his nose, making Lin Bei drool. On second thought, he hadn¡¯t even had dinner yet. However, just as he was thinking about what to eat for dinner, Whitey, who was lying on the sofa, seemed to have smelled the fragrance of the canned food and jumped in front of Lin Bei. Looking at Whitey wagging its tail and its big round eyes filled with desire, Lin Bei smiled and reached out to pat its head. Then, he placed the can in front of it. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± Whitey mew at Lin Bei twice before starting to move with a look of enjoyment. [You fed Whitey canned food. It feels very happy. Experience +100] A single can gave 100 EXP! Sure enough, imported canned food was indeed different! In his excitement, Lin Bei also prepared some dinner for himself. By the time Whitey finished eating, Lin Bei was almost done. After cleaning up, Lin Bei picked up Whitey, who was licking his fur, and placed it on the sofa. What followed was the highlight of the night. Lin Bei opened the contract beast interface again. He now had 520 experience points, and upgrading Whitey¡¯s bloodline level required 200 experience points. Without hesitation, Lin Bei clicked on the plus sign behind the bloodline level. [Bloodline level upgrade. Do you want to spend 200 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level to Superior Ninth-grade?] ¡°Yes!¡± [Bloodline upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s bloodline has successfully upgraded to Superior Ninth-grade!] [Ding! Detected that host¡¯s contract beast has completed the bloodline upgrade. Rewarded experience +100!] After completing the first bloodline level up, he still had 420 experience points left. The next bloodline level up required 400 experience points. Clearly, every time he leveled up, he would need to spend twice as much EXP to level up again. Lin Bei looked at his remaining 420 experience points. After thinking for a while, he clicked on the plus sign again. [Bloodline leveling up. Would you like to spend 400 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level to the Inferior Eighth-grade?] ¡°Yes!¡± [Bloodline upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s bloodline has successfully upgraded to the Inferior Eighth-grade!] [Ding! Detected that host¡¯s contract beast has completed the bloodline upgrade. Rewarded experience +200!] Reward: 200 experience points! Lin Bei did not expect that this bloodline upgrade would give him 200 experience points at once. In an instant, Whitey¡¯s bloodline level had successfully risen to the Inferior Eighth-grade. Lin Bei also revealed a satisfied smile. Now that he only had 220 experience points left, it was obviously unrealistic for him to increase his bloodline level. Therefore, Lin Bei shifted his gaze to another attribute panel in the system interface. Realm. This so-called Realm corresponded to the level of Humans. From low to high, there were wild beasts, dire beasts, and Demonic Beasts. Each level was divided into ten small stages. The current Whitey was only a wild beast, and it was at the lowest level. This meant that it had not even reached the level of a wild beast. Every time a contract beast leveled up, its physical abilities would increase slightly. After reaching a certain stage, it could even equip them with some exclusive skills. Therefore, the realm was especially important to contract beasts. ¡°Looks like I have to raise your realm.¡± Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head and said with a smile. Whitey obediently rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s hand and let out two cute cries. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± He opened the interface again and clicked on the plus sign behind the realm. The system notification sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind again. [Upgraded realm. Do you want to spend 100 experience points to upgrade Whitey¡¯s realm to Level 1 Wild Beast?] What Lin Bei did not expect was that the cost of raising his realm seemed to be higher than raising his bloodline level. However, he did not hesitate and replied, ¡°Yes.¡± [Realm upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s Realm has successfully upgraded to Level 1 Wild Beast!] [Ding! Detected that host¡¯s contract beast has completed the realm upgrade. Reward: Black Iron Treasure Chest!] Chapter 6 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 6: Combat Demonstration! Red-faced Baboon! The system¡¯s voice sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. At the same time, a bright ball of light appeared in front of him. ¡°Black Iron Treasure Chest? That should be it.¡± Lin Bei touched the ball of light in front of him. In the next second, the light on the surface of the ball of light gradually disappeared and finally turned into a leather bag the size of a football. [Ding! Congratulations to the host for opening the Black Iron Treasure Chest. You have received: 5kg of Inferior Beast-level cat food and 10 Inferior Spirit Stones!] ¡°Huh?! Spirit Stones!!¡± The moment he heard the word Spirit Stone, Lin Bei immediately became excited. That was something that could not be bought with money! Ever since the recovery of spiritual energy, the spiritual energy in the air had nurtured everything on the Cerulean Planet, including various minerals on the Cerulean Planet. The so-called Spirit Stones were stones cultivated by spiritual qi. This kind of stone would absorb and store the spiritual energy in the surroundings. When a martial artist needed to cultivate, he could absorb from the Spirit Stone. In fact, it was not just Human martial artists. Even if Demonic Beasts wanted to cultivate, they could rely on these Spirit Stones too. Because the spiritual energy in the Spirit Stones was very pure and was very beneficial for Humans or Demonic Beasts to absorb, hence Spirit Stones are a very precious commodity. They were basically priceless. Even if they occasionally appeared in the market, they would be swept away by rich martial arts families immediately. As for the friction and conflict between Humans and Demonic Beasts, it was mostly because of the conflict of resources caused by the Spirit Stone mine. From this, it could be seen how precious Spirit Stones were. Even Inferior grade Spirit Stones would be snatched up by some martial artists as long as they were placed on the market. In less than ten minutes, they would be sold out. Lin Bei looked at the ten Inferior grade Spirit Stones in the leather bag and could not help but feel his heart beat faster. The Spirit Stones were crystal clear and looked like precious jade. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect to get such a reward for upgrading Whitey!¡± ¡°This is only a Black Iron Treasure Chest, but ten Inferior grade Spirit Stones have been obtained. If it¡¯s a higher-grade treasure chest¡¡± Lin Bei did not dare to imagine. Just now, he was still troubled because he had spent his monthly living expenses at the pet shop earlier. Now, he already had a total of 10 Inferior grade Spirit Stones! If he sold all these Spirit Stones, it would be enough for him to buy a villa with good configuration at a good location. However, Lin Bei was not stupid. He could not sell all these Spirit Stones. Keeping it for his own cultivation was the best solution. Of course, if he really lacked money, it was not impossible to sell one of them on the market. As he thought about it, Lin Bei started to worry about something else. Where should he put such a bag of Spirit Stones? He was really worried about leaving it in the dormitory. Although this was a single dormitory, the teachers would still come here from time to time to check on them. As for carrying it with him, it was even more unrealistic. Anyone would find it strange to carry such a bag with them. However, just as Lin Bei was thinking, the system¡¯s voice sounded in his mind again. [Responding to the host, the system has a small storage space that can be used to store important items. If you need to use it, you only need to summon it in the system interface.] Storage space?! There was such a thing in the system interface! Hearing the system notification, Lin Bei quickly summoned the system interface again. Then, as expected, he found the words ¡°Storage Space¡± in the lower right corner of the system panel. Seeing this, Lin Bei scratched his head awkwardly. Previously, his attention was focused on the contract beast interface, so he did not notice that the system had such a function. In this way, it was much more convenient to store some valuable items. Thinking of this, Lin Bei clicked on the storage space on the system interface. [You only need to touch the item you want to put in it with your hand and you can directly transfer it into the storage space. Currently, only items can be placed in the storage space, not living creatures.] Lin Bei received another system notification. He held the bag of Spirit Stones in his hand and thought about it. In an instant, the bag disappeared from his hand. ¡°It really is quite magical.¡± Lin Bei smiled and looked at Whitey. At this moment, it was also lying lazily on the sofa. Its eyes narrowed slightly, looking like it was enjoying itself. Lin Bei did not know if it was an illusion, but when he looked at Whitey now, he felt that its body seemed to be bigger than before, but it did not seem so obvious. However, it was normal for it to grow bigger. After all, Whitey was completely different from ordinary house cats now. A lnferior Eighth-grade bloodline, coupled with the realm of a wild beast. Now, it was definitely much stronger than most of the contracted beasts in Lin Bei¡¯s class! As if sensing Lin Bei¡¯s gaze, Whitey slowly opened its eyes and looked in his direction. ¡°Meow!¡± It let out a soft cry, and Lin Bei reached out to pat its head. The night passed uneventfully. The next day, when Lin Bei woke up, he realized that Whitey, who had been sleeping on the sofa, had run to his bed. Seeing that it still seemed to be in an instant, Lin Bei carefully reached out and touched its head. [You stroked Whitey. It is happy. Experience +10] The system¡¯s voice sounded again. Lin Bei was stunned for a moment before he realized that it was already the next day. He could do everything he did yesterday again today. However, compared to this, he seemed to have two courses on Demon Tamers to attend this morning. He looked down at the watch on his wrist. There was still half an hour before class started, so there was plenty of time. After washing up, Whitey woke up from his bed and lay on the dining table. Obviously, it was waiting for Lin Bei to feed breakfast. Twenty minutes later, Lin Bei walked out of the dormitory building. Whitey stood on his shoulder like yesterday, looking very obedient. Another ten minutes later, the man and cat successfully arrived at the classroom. As soon as Lin Bei walked in, he immediately attracted the attention of most of the students in the class. When Bai Ranran saw him, she immediately stood up and walked toward Lin Bei. ¡°Lin Bei! I forgot to tell you yesterday. It¡¯s your turn to practice with Da Hen today. Remember to prepare in advance!¡± Her pink face was apologetic, clearly blaming herself for her mistake. ¡°If you don¡¯t want to fight, you can tell me. I¡¯ll help inform the teacher. In that case¡¡± Bai Ranran spoke again. As she spoke, her gaze landed on Whitey, who was on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Obviously, she did not think that Lin Bei¡¯s cat could compare to the Red-faced Baboon with a Superior Ninth-grade bloodline. In the end, there might even be a one-sided situation. Although everyone understood, in Bai Ranran¡¯s opinion, as a Demon Tamer, Lin Bei would definitely feel embarrassed. Chapter 7 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°It¡¯s fine. We¡¯ll just follow Teacher¡¯s arrangements.¡± Lin Bei waved his hand and brought Whitey to a corner to sit. Bai Ranran stood rooted to the ground. She was also very surprised by Lin Bei¡¯s decision, in her opinion, an ordinary cat would not be able to defeat the ruthless Superior Ninth-grade wild beast, the Red-faced Baboon. However, since it was Lin Bei¡¯s own decision, she had no right to interfere. She still felt a little guilty for not informing Lin Bei earlier. Perhaps Lin Bei would have told her in private about making changes to the arrangements. It should not have been conveyed in this way in the classroom. At this moment, a burly man who looked like a student walked into the classroom. Behind him was a Red-faced Baboon about a meter tall. Its upper limbs were abnormally developed, and the muscles on its arms looked full of explosive power. Its red facial features were very ferocious, and it was intimidating. After entering the class, Da Hen first looked around. When he saw that Lin Bei had actually come to class, his eyes revealed a surprised expression. Obviously, he also thought that Lin Bei would choose to take leave during this class to avoid this actual combat demonstration. However, since Lin Bei was here, he was naturally even happier. Usually, he could not find an opportunity, but now, he could finally bring this kid down a notch. As time passed, the number of people in the class gradually increased. More and more people noticed Lin Bei¡¯s position, and many people began to whisper to each other. ¡°Sigh, Lin Bei is really too miserable. He was clearly the top student in the theoretical class every time, but he contracted such a thing!¡± ¡°Shh! Lower your voice. Don¡¯t let him hear you!¡± ¡°So what if he hears me? I didn¡¯t say anything bad about him. He is just unlucky.¡± ¡°I didn¡¯t expect him to come today. I thought he would avoid the battle and take leave.¡± ¡°That kitten is quite cute, but it¡¯s no match for that Red-faced Baboon no matter how you look at it. That¡¯s a contract beast with a Superior Ninth-grade bloodline! My Pangolin is only a Mid Ninth-grade!¡± ¡°¡¡± The discussion in the class grew louder and louder until a man pushed open the door and walked into the classroom. Then, the voice stopped abruptly. The man was wearing the uniform of a martial arts school faculty member. His 30-year-old face was filled with determination and seriousness. Just standing there made the students feel a strong pressure. However, what made the students even more afraid was the blue-striped python standing beside him. It stood upright and sized up everyone with its vertical pupils. From time to time, it would spit out its tongue. Mid Sixth-grade bloodline, Fifth-grade Feral Realm. This was Lin Bei¡¯s Demon Tamer counselor, Du Bo. In private, the students secretly called him Old Poison because his class was too strict. Once a student violated the rules of his class, they would be directly punished most of the time. Basically, he did not show them any leniency at all. In the classroom, Du Bo¡¯s gaze swept across everyone. Then, he nodded in satisfaction and spoke in a low voice. ¡°Very good. There are no students missing class today.¡± ¡°Then, according to our teaching arrangements, please bring your contract beasts to the podium.¡± His voice was not loud, but it clearly reached everyone¡¯s ears. When Da Hen heard this, he immediately stood up. The Red-faced Baboon followed closely behind him and walked to the podium. Lin Bei stood up and patted Whitey¡¯s head. ¡°Come on, don¡¯t push yourself too hard.¡± Whitey rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s hand and called out to him twice. ¡°Meow! Meow!¡± Just like that, the man and cat arrived at the podium. At the same time, the audience began to discuss softly. ¡°Lin Bei and his cat are amazing! They¡¯re so good-looking compared to Da Hen and that Red-faced Baboon!¡± ¡°That¡¯s right! That¡¯s right! I just wanted to say that it¡¯s simply too eye-catching!¡± ¡°Tsk, so what if it¡¯s pleasing to the eye? He¡¯ll still be beaten up later.¡± ¡°You don¡¯t really think that Lin Bei¡¯s cat can beat a Red-faced Baboon! He has a Superior Ninth-grade bloodline! Just looking at him is scary!¡± ¡°¡¡± Du Bo¡¯s gaze swept across the two people in front of him. He had a deep impression of Lin Bei. In the demon taming theory class, his results had always been top-notch. He was ranked first in almost every exam. Unfortunately¡ Contracted beasts were the most important part of a Demon Tamer. It directly determines the upper limit of a Demon Tamer, although he would teach his students that there were no weak contracted beasts, only lousy Demon Tamers. However, that was only to comfort some students with low-grade contract beasts. Du Bo sighed imperceptibly and said in a low voice. ¡°Practical combat is the most important part of being a Demon Tamer. I¡¯ve already taught you all all the theoretical knowledge during last year¡¯s teaching. Now, you all have your own contract beasts.¡± ¡°Therefore, this is undoubtedly a test for you!¡± ¡°Today is the first day of the assessment. Classmate Lin Bei will fight against Classmate Chen Da Hen.¡± ¡°Now¡ the actual combat demonstration begins!¡± As Du Bo¡¯s voice fell, his right hand flipped out a super-small electronic capsule. After pressing the red button in the center of the capsule, a blue beam of light spread out and quickly enveloped the entire classroom. ¡°This is a protective measure in case you destroy public property in the classroom.¡± ¡°Now, the actual combat demonstration officially begins!¡± As soon as Du Bo¡¯s voice fell, Da Hen pointed his right hand arrogantly in Lin Bei¡¯s direction without any hesitation. ¡°Barbarian, go and beat him up!¡± Hearing the order, the Red-faced Baboon pounded its chest twice, emitting a dull sound like a war drum. Then, he rushed towards Lin Bei and Whitey with both hands on the ground. On the other side, Whitey jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Its two front claws exerted force and its entire body rose several meters into the air. When the Red-faced Baboon saw this scene, it was stunned on the spot. Its two eyes stared blankly at Whitey in the air. In the next second, Whitey¡¯s figure flashed and disappeared on the spot. Its entire body turned into a white arrow and rushed towards the Red-faced Baboon that was still stunned. ¡°Meow!¡± As Whitey meowed, its two front claws smashed into the Red-faced Baboon¡¯s face. The powerful force caused the Red-faced Baboon¡¯s feet to leave the ground, and its entire body flew out like a cannonball. In the end, the back of its head hit the wall and it lost consciousness on the spot. Chapter 8 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios The entire class fell into a pool-like silence. Their gazes were fixed on Whitey, who was on the podium, and their eyes were filled with shock. Fast! It was too fast! It was so fast that they could not react to what had happened at all. This battle, which everyone thought had a huge disparity in strength, had ended! However, looking at it now, there was indeed a disparity in strength. However, the disparity was completely different from what they had imagined! An extremely ordinary cat had actually killed a Red-faced Baboon with a Superior Ninth-grade bloodline in a flash! Who would have thought?! This silence lasted for a few seconds before the entire class erupted into a heated discussion! ¡°W-what¡¯s going on? What happened just now?!¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know either. I didn¡¯t see it at all. I just felt that the big Red-faced Baboon was sent flying!¡± ¡°Did anyone see what Lin Bei¡¯s cat did?¡± ¡°I can¡¯t see it clearly at all. It¡¯s too fast! I only saw a shadow!¡± ¡°This is too exaggerated! This is really just an ordinary cat! It can¡¯t be a cat transformed from a Demonic Beast, right?¡± ¡°Who said that Lin Bei would be knocked out in seconds? Stand up! Open your eyes wide and see who the unlucky guy was knocked out in seconds instead!¡± ¡°¡¡± On the podium, the expression on Da Hen¡¯s face was filled with shock. Even now, he had yet to react to what had happened. From his perspective, he only saw Lin Bei¡¯s cat jump up from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Then, for some reason, his Baboon flew out. Because everything happened too quickly, so fast that he did not even see Whitey¡¯s actions clearly. Da Hen still lowered his head in shock and looked at the time on his wrist. Two seconds. Yes, in just two seconds, his Red-faced Baboon with a Ninth-grade bloodline had actually lost to the cat that looked like its bloodline level might not even be of any grade! This, this was really difficult to accept! He wasn¡¯t the only one. Even the expression on Du Bo¡¯s face changed. He, who had a poker face for as long as time, also had some surprise hidden in his eyes at this moment. Although the students below the podium did not see what had happened, as an advanced Demon Tamer, he had seen everything clearly. He saw everything from the cat jumping off Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder to the two cat claws smashing into the Red-faced Baboon¡¯s face. It was also because of this that he was a little surprised. No matter how one looked at it, the cat looked like an ordinary cat. It should not have such terrifying explosive power. Could it be that he had misjudged? With this thought in mind, Du Bo looked at Lin Bei even more seriously than before. ¡°The actual combat demonstration has ended. Winner, Lin Bei!¡± Du Bo¡¯s voice sounded in the classroom. The students who were discussing fervently lowered their voices, afraid that they would be caught by Old Poison and punished as a warning to others. Da Hen also reacted at this moment and quickly ran to the Red-faced Baboon. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with his body. He had only fainted temporarily after receiving a heavy blow to the back of his head. But even so, Da Hen found it hard to accept such an outcome. Initially, he thought that he could teach Lin Bei a lesson. However, he did not expect him to become Lin Bei¡¯s stepping stone again. When he thought of this, he gritted his teeth in anger. He really wanted to ask Lin Bei for a rematch! He firmly believed that if his Baboon had not hit the back of his head, he would definitely not have lost to Lin Bei¡¯s cat. However, with Du Bo present, Da Hen didn¡¯t dare to say anything. He could only hug his Red-faced Baboon and go back in his seat. Bai Ranran looked at Lin Bei on the podium with a strange expression. ¡°No wonder you¡¯re so confident and didn¡¯t take leave today.¡± ¡°So that cat is actually so powerful!¡± Du Bo stood at the lectern, looking down at the students, who were beginning to get restless. He coughed twice and cleared his throat. When the students heard this voice, they instantly understood. Old Poison was about to start his lecture. Whitey leaped lightly like a victor. Its feather-like body landed on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. ¡°Students, the results of today¡¯s combat demonstration have exceeded many people¡¯s expectations.¡± ¡°To be honest, even I didn¡¯t expect such an ending today.¡± ¡°But at the same time, this also confirms what I said in class previously. There are no weak Demonic Beasts, only unqualified Demon Tamers! As long as you are willing to believe in your companions, you will definitely be able to unleash even greater strength!¡± ¡°Next, let¡¯s invite the second group of students to go on stage and carry out an actual combat demonstration!¡± ¡°¡¡± Lin Bei returned to his seat as the next three practical demonstrations were held in the classroom, and Bai Ranran brought her Red Mane Lion to the podium. The outcome was within everyone¡¯s expectations. It was completely one-sided. Although the entire process was not as exaggerated as Lin Bei¡¯s, the other party¡¯s Hyena did not have a chance at all. It was completely dominated by the Red Mane Lion from the get go and did not even have a chance to attack. Lin Bei was naturally not interested in a battle of this level. He stroke Whitey on his lap while waiting for the bell to ring. Finally, half an hour later, the bell rang. When Du Bo heard the bell, he tidied up the textbooks on the table and spoke to his students. ¡°Alright, it¡¯s time for class to end. Remember to complete the homework I assigned you.¡± ¡°Also, you have to hurry up and prepare for the class test during this period of time. This exams will affect your results.¡± ¡°If there¡¯s nothing else, class is over. Lin Bei, come with me.¡± Lin Bei, who was about to pack his things and leave the classroom, was stunned when he suddenly heard his name. However, he still followed Du Bo to his office. In the classroom, the girls who wanted to take the opportunity to hit on Lin Bei after class pouted. However, they had no choice. They did not dare to contradict Old Poison. In the teacher¡¯s office, Du Bo¡¯s gaze sized up Lin Bei in front of him. The blue-striped python beside him also stood up and kept flicking its tongue at Whitey on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. After a moment of silence, Du Bo said directly. ¡°Then I won¡¯t keep you in suspense.¡± ¡°Lin Bei, do you know the Sea Moon Forest?¡± Chapter 9 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 9: Beast Riot! Whitey¡¯s Bloodline Suppression! ¡°Little brother, I¡¯ll stop here for you. If any further, and I won¡¯t dare to go in with you.¡± In the taxi, the middle-aged man¡¯s voice sounded. Lin Bei, who was sitting in the back row, looked down at the GPS and then at the scene outside the window. He nodded. He opened the door and got out of the car with Whitey. At the same time, he looked into the distance. An entire dense forest came into view. Due to the spiritual energy, the trees here were exceptionally lush. Even the leaves were much wider than before the recovery of spiritual energy. The green color made people feel exceptionally at ease. ¡°This should be the Sea Moon Forest.¡± Lin Bei muttered. Sea Moon Forest was the largest wild forest near Sea City. It occupied almost half the area of Sea City. At the same time, because the forest was very large, all kinds of low-level wild beasts would often appear inside. Of course, if one was lucky enough, they could even find some very valuable treasures inside. Because this was the jurisdiction of Humans, the nearby martial artists would regularly go here to train the Demonic Beasts in the forest. Therefore, there were very few groups of wild beasts in the Sea Moon Forest. High-level wild beasts were very rare, let alone dire beasts and Demonic Beasts. It was precisely because of this that the Sea Moon Forest was far safer than it looked. Many schools would treat this place as a training ground for martial artists outside of school hours and curriculum. This was also the reason why Du Bo wanted to talk to Lin Bei. Previously, Lin Bei¡¯s contracted beast was a cat. Du Bo thought that Lin Bei did not have the ability to protect himself, so he did not tell him. But now, Lin Bei¡¯s Whitey had instantly defeated the ruthless Red-faced Baboon in an actual combat demonstration. From this, Du Bo determined that Lin Bei still had the ability to go to the Sea Moon Forest to train. His thoughts returned to the present. Lin Bei looked at the Sea Moon Forest in front of him and walked in without hesitation. On one hand, he wanted to see what level Whitey¡¯s combat strength had reached. On the other hand, if he could find some low-level wild beasts to hunt in the Sea Moon Forest, he could use the materials on them to sell for some pocket money. After all, the pet shop had almost squeezed Lin Bei¡¯s wallet dry last time. It was difficult for him to find a way to sell the Spirit Stones in a short period of time, so hunting low-level wild beasts was indeed a more viable way to earn money. However, Lin Bei was not in a hurry. Although Whitey¡¯s bloodline had already reached Inferior Eighth-grade, it was still only a Level 1 wild beast. They were no match for most wild beasts. The purpose of coming here this time was only to take a look. After he went back to level up, it would be more convenient for him to come here next time. While he was thinking, the man and cat had already arrived at the entrance of the Sea Moon Forest. After entering, Lin Bei could clearly feel that the humidity in the air was much higher than outside. Even the surface of his skin began to condense small water droplets. Whitey was still standing on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder obediently. It did not seem to be struggling at all. ¡°The air quality here is quite good.¡± ¡°If not for the fact that there are too many mosquitoes, it would be a good thing to live here.¡± Lin Bei muttered to himself. However, at this moment, a low breathing sound entered his ears. ¡°Roar¡¡± The voice was extremely deep. One could tell that it was definitely not from a Human. The moment he heard this voice, Lin Bei immediately became vigilant. He frowned and quickly scanned his surroundings. ¡°Whitey, did you hear that?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey¡¯s voice was very high, and it clearly responded to the sound. Lin Bei could not help but reveal a serious expression. He originally thought that he was here today to scout the area, but he did not expect to encounter a wild beast. Now, he did not know the other party¡¯s realm, Lin Bei could not act rashly. ¡°His level shouldn¡¯t be very high. Otherwise, he would have pounced on us immediately.¡± ¡°There are many rescue stations built by martial artists in the forest. If we really encounter an attack, we can definitely run over to seek help immediately.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself as he walked slowly in the forest. However, at this moment, that voice entered Lin Bei¡¯s ears again. ¡°Roar¡¡± ¡°Roar¡¡± ¡°¡¡± There was more than one! Lin Bei made a judgment immediately. From the sound of their breathing, it was not difficult to tell that the other party was probably a group of wild beasts. Against such a number, even low-level wild beasts were definitely not something he and Whitey could deal with. After making his decision, Lin Bei no longer hesitated. ¡°Run!¡± He held Whitey in his arms and ran towards the rescue station. At the same time, the hidden wild beasts revealed their fangs. They no longer hide themselves. Instead, they suddenly rushed out and chased after Lin Bei. ¡°Roar!!¡± ¡°Roar!!¡± ¡°¡¡± Lin Bei did not turn around, but by relied on hearing the footsteps, he successfully identified at least three wild beasts chasing after him. Once he slowed down, the wild beasts would immediately catch up. Therefore, he could not stop at all. Gritting his teeth, Lin Bei sped up again. With the spiritual energy nourishing his body, although he had yet to officially start cultivating, his body was already far beyond that of an ordinary person. Moreover, from the speed of these five, their levels should not be too high. As long as Lin Bei could maintain this speed, they would definitely not be able to catch up to him. However, things did not go as planned. Just as Lin Bei circled around a huge tree, three Hyenas flew towards him. Fortunately, he successfully dodged the Hyena¡¯s attack, but he lost his balance and fell to the ground. Just as Lin Bei fell to the ground, his heart sank. Oh no! It was really over! There were a total of eight wild beasts, three in front, five behind. Even if they were at the lowest realm, they were definitely not something Lin Bei could fight against now. There was still a certain distance from the rescue station ahead. It was no longer realistic to ask for help now. He looked down at Whitey in his arms and patted its head. ¡°Run first. If you can get out, find someone to save me.¡± Although he said that, Lin Bei knew that it was unrealistic to save him. However, with Whitey¡¯s speed, it was not difficult to escape from these Hyenas. As long as he¡¯s focused on his own survival, these Hyenas could not even see Whitey¡¯s tail. However¡ Whitey, who had always been obedient, did not listen to Lin Bei this time. It slipped out of Lin Bei¡¯s arms and stood on the tall tree. Instantly, the eight Hyenas¡¯ attention was attracted by Whitey. Just as Lin Bei was still wondering what Whitey was going to do, he saw Whitey raise its head and meow at the Hyenas. ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± This cat cry was different from before. It was no longer milky and soft like a kitten, but more like a lion declaring its sovereignty over its territory. At the same time, for some reason, after hearing the cat¡¯s cry, the Hyenas immediately fled in all directions as if they had seen their natural enemy. Only Lin Bei and Whitey were left under the tree. Chapter 10 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 10: Inferior-grade Grass! Cattail Grass! Looking at the Hyenas fleeing in all directions, Lin Bei was also abnormally shocked. He raised his head and looked at Whitey on the tree. At this moment, it seemed to have lost its brave appearance. Not only was its body a little weak, but even its feet seemed to be swaying. Fortunately, Lin Bei reacted and quickly stood up to catch Whitey before it fell to the ground. ¡°Meow!¡± Lying in Lin Bei¡¯s arms, Whitey resumed its childish cries, but its voice was also sounded a little tired. It was not difficult to tell that it seemed to have exhausted a lot of its stamina just now. ¡°Have a good rest. I¡¯ll take you back.¡± Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head with heartache. Whitey responded and rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s chest comfortably. Then, he found a comfortable position and slept in Lin Bei¡¯s arms. Seeing that Whitey had fallen asleep, Lin Bei finally came back to his senses. At the same time, another question arose in his heart. Why did those Hyenas flee in all directions after Whitey released its aura? According to the theoretical knowledge he had learned, Demonic Beasts with high bloodlines would indeed have a certain suppressive effect on low-level Demonic Beasts. Just its aura alone was enough to scare them away. However, that could only be done if the bloodline level was at least two grades higher. Even though Whitey¡¯s bloodline level had been upgraded by Lin Bei, it was only Inferior Eighth grade. It was obviously unrealistic to want to be two grades higher than those Hyenas. Since Lin Bei couldn¡¯t come up with an answer after thinking for a while, he didn¡¯t waste anymore time on the matter. He carried Whitey in his arms and walked out of the Sea Moon Forest. For some reason, the originally safe Sea Moon Forest had let him encounter such a thing today. Lin Bei could not figure out why. But no matter what, the most important thing now was to leave this place quickly. Just as Lin Bei was about to turn around and leave¡ However, he suddenly felt a very dense spiritual qi in the air. Following the direction of the spiritual qi, Lin Bei walked over. Soon, he found a strange grass that emitted a weak light growing at the root of a towering tree. From afar, it looked like a cat¡¯s tail. Coupled with the faint light on its surface, Lin Bei recognized it at a glance. Low-grade spiritual herbs! Cattail! The moment he saw this spiritual herb, Lin Bei¡¯s eyes lit up and he became excited. ¡°Spiritual herbs!¡± ¡°I didn¡¯t expect this! Today is not for naught after all!¡± After putting Whitey down on a flat grassland, Lin Bei began to carefully dig up the soil near the cattail grass. The so-called spiritual herbs were herbs that absorbed the spiritual energy from the earth and sky. The principle behind its formation was not much different from Spirit Stones. However, the difference was that no matter how much spiritual qi a Spirit Stone absorbed, it would still be a Spirit Stone in the end. But herbs were different. If the herbs absorbed enough spiritual energy, they could also reproduce and develop intelligence, eventually evolving into creatures like Demonic Beasts. In fact¡ If these herbs did not die prematurely and continued to absorb spiritual energy to grow, theoretically, there was a possibility that they could transform into Human forms. Of course, so far, there had never been such a precedent on the entire Cerulean Planet. After letting go of the soil near the cattail grass, Lin Bei gently uprooted it and sent it into the storage space of the system. After doing all this, Lin Bei stood up in satisfaction. If Whitey were to absorb such a spiritual herb, it might be able to increase its realm by another level. This way, Lin Bei could receive another treasure chest. Thinking of this, he carried Whitey back into his arms. After walking for a while, the man and cat had left the Sea Moon Forest. After walking for a few kilometers, Lin Bei successfully returned to the downtown area of Sea City. An hour later. Lin Bei brought Whitey back to the dormitory. After turning on the lights, Lin Bei collapsed on the sofa. He had to admit that he was exhausted today. Whitey woke up halfway. After sleeping, its mental state was obviously much better. Seeing Lin Bei collapse on the sofa, it jumped in front of him and rubbed its head against his face. Lying on the sofa, Lin Bei smiled and reached out to pat its head. After resting for a while, he sat up from the sofa and opened the system interface. Looking at the upper right corner of the system, Lin Bei¡¯s face revealed a happy expression. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect to obtain 700 experience points today!¡± ¡°Have a good rest. You should be able to get some more.¡± With that, Lin Bei pulled Whitey into his arms and began to think about his next plan. It took five minutes. Lin Bei made a daily schedule that was filled with things that he could gain experience points from every day. After skimming through the items that he had completed today, Lin Bei¡¯s gaze stopped on the remaining three. Eat, shower, and sleep. ¡°As expected, those scattered ones have already been completed. This is all that¡¯s left.¡± After tidying up, Lin Bei picked Whitey up and walked towards the bathroom. He did not forget to take out the pet shampoo he had bought yesterday. Unlike the last time, Lin Bei took off his clothes and planned to bathe with Whitey. After all, it would be much more convenient to come down like this. Seeing Lin Bei walk in naked, Whitey turned around like a little girl. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei couldn¡¯t help but laugh. ¡°What¡¯s wrong, Whitey? You¡¯re still shy.¡± Twenty minutes later, a man and a cat walked out of the bathroom. Lin Bei used the hairdryer to dry Whitey¡¯s body and fed him some canned cat food. As for the cat food from the treasure chest, Lin Bei planned to feed it tomorrow. After taking a shower, Lin Bei was exhausted, he planned to deal with everything tomorrow when he woke up. ¡°Since I don¡¯t have any classes tomorrow, we¡¯ll do it tomorrow.¡± Lin Bei held Whitey in front of his face and shook its body as he spoke. Hearing Lin Bei¡¯s words, Whitey meowed in agreement. After doing everything and gaining an additional 80 experience points, Lin Bei was completely exhausted. As soon as he lay on the bed, he fell asleep immediately. Chapter 11 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 11: Second Level Up! Level 3 Beast! The night passed uneventfully. The next day. Morning sunlight shone into Lin Bei¡¯s room through the window. Coincidentally, it shone on his face. Lin Bei, who was woken up by the sunlight, rubbed his sleepy eyes and slowly sat up from the bed. He raised his arms and stretched. All the joints in his body were popping like beans. As he gradually regained consciousness, Lin Bei suddenly felt something furry beside his hand. He lifted the blanket and took a look. As expected, Whitey had crawled into his bed again. Lin Bei did not know whether to laugh or cry. The cat bed he bought for Whitey was almost as expensive as his accommodation fees, but Whitey still squeezed into a small single bed with him every time. Moreover, for some reason, Whitey would sneak into Lin Bei¡¯s bed without him noticing. This made Lin Bei feel helpless. After stroking the cat¡¯s head and gaining another 10 experience points, Lin Bei got up and started preparing breakfast. He was fatigued from the day before. Therefore, there were many things that he had not dealt with. On one hand, he had not given the cattail grass to Whitey. On the other hand, he had not distributed the remaining 840 experience points. There were no classes today, so Lin Bei planned to get into all these things at once today. First, he took out the cat food from the treasure chest from the storage space. After opening the outer packaging, Lin Bei smelled a rich meat fragrance. This smell was completely different from what Lin Bei had bought in the pet shop. There was also some spiritual aura mixed in. Just smelling it made one feel exceptionally comfortable. ¡°What a pity. It¡¯s just cat food. Otherwise, I would really want to try it.¡± Lin Bei joked. After putting the cat food into Whitey¡¯s usual food bowl, Lin Bei took out the cattail grass he had picked yesterday. According to his memories, the medicinal properties of this low-grade spiritual herb were not that strong. It only needed to be ground into powder before it could be easily absorbed by Humans or Demonic Beasts. Therefore, Lin Bei did not do anything special. He crushed the cattail grass into powder like fluorescent powder and scattered it on Whitey¡¯s cat food. Five minutes later, Lin Bei had prepared Whitey¡¯s breakfast. Just as he was about to call Whitey out for dinner, his eyes happened to fall on the plastic bag he had taken back from the pet shop yesterday. There was actually a pure white collar with a little bell on it. Lin Bei had carefully chosen this for Whitey. In his impression, all domesticated cats should have such a collar, so he bought one. After taking it out of the bag, Lin Bei planned to put it on Whitey after dinner. However, just as he turned around and was about to wake Whitey up to eat, he realized that Whitey had already gotten up from the bed. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey called out to Lin Bei as if to say good morning to him. Then, it swaggered towards its bowl and began to eat happily. Seeing this, Lin Bei also started on his breakfast. Ten minutes later, the man and cat had finished their delicious meals. At this moment, Whitey¡¯s body seemed to have begun to undergo some small changes. A faint light visible to the naked eye emitted around its body, and its body gradually became larger. However, the entire process did not last long. After a while, the faint light began to gradually disappear, and Whitey¡¯s transformation stopped. Lin Bei walked forward and opened the system interface. In the next second, a screen the size of a chessboard appeared in front of him. [Contracted Beast: Whitey Race: Cat Current Experience: 840 Realm: Level 2 Wild Beast Bloodline: Inferior Eighth Grade Demon Power: 0 Physique: 15 (Human Basic Value: 10) Vitality: 10 (Human Basic Value: 10) Skills: None Contract Nurturing: (Too low level, unable to nurture)] Level 2 Wild Beast! Lin Bei was delighted when he saw the change in the realm column in the system interface. After consuming the Beast-level cat food and a spiritual herb, Whitey¡¯s realm successfully broke through to Level 2! Not only that, but Whitey¡¯s other stats were also much better than before. Its vitality had already reached the level of a normal Human, and its physique had already surpassed that of a normal Human, reaching 15 points! ¡°It seems that after this bloodline level increases, the effect on all aspects is quite substantial.¡± After successfully leveling up, Whitey stretched on the floor and jumped onto Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. ¡°The improvement of this realm is indeed different.¡± Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head lovingly. Next was the main issue. Currently, Whitey still had 840 experience points left. If he wanted to increase its bloodline level, he would need to spend 800 points. Currently, he only needed to spend 400 experience points to increase his realm. From the looks of it, increasing Whitey¡¯s realm level would make a bigger difference. After thinking it through, Lin Bei clicked on the plus sign behind the Realm column in the system interface without hesitation. At the same time, the system¡¯s voice sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. [Upgraded realm. Do you want to spend 400 experience points to upgrade Whitey¡¯s realm to a Level 3 Wild Beast?] ¡°Yes!¡± Lin Bei responded. [Realm upgrade is successful. Whitey¡¯s Realm has successfully upgraded to Level 3 Beast!] As soon as the system finished speaking, Whitey¡¯s body began to emit a faint light again. What surprised Lin Bei was that the system did not reward him with a treasure chest this time. ¡°From the looks of it, the treasure chest reward isn¡¯t given at every level up. That might mean the next reward will be at Level 5.¡± Lin Bei pondered for a moment. At the same time, Whitey, who was beside him, had also completed the advancement of its realm. In just two days, Whitey had gone from a no-level wild beast to a Level 3 wild beast. If news of this leveling speed spread, it might make the students in the class drop their jaws. Even Bai Ranran, who had the highest bloodline, had only just broken through to become a Level 1 Wild Beast. There was still a long way to go before she could reach Level 2, but Lin Bei¡¯s Whitey had already broken through to Level 3! It had to be known that the higher the bloodline level of a Demonic Beast, the easier it was to break through. It was precisely because of this that Whitey¡¯s breakthrough speed was especially terrifying! Whitey successfully broke through, and Lin Bei had completed another task on his to-do list. At this moment, he saw the collar on the table from the corner of his eye. Therefore, he waved at Whitey and said. ¡°Come here, Whitey. I¡¯ve prepared a gift for you.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded and jumped onto Lin Bei¡¯s thigh. Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head and put the collar on its neck. [You have prepared a gift for Whitey. It feels very happy. Experience +100] Chapter 12 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 12: Combat Teaching Class! After cleaning up the breakfast on the table, Lin Bei looked at Whitey, who was playing with toys, and smiled like a loving father. It was not hard to tell that Whitey seemed to like Lin Bei¡¯s gift. From time to time, it would deliberately shake its head twice to let the bell make a crisp sound. At the same time, as long as Lin Bei heard the bell, he would know that Whitey was nearby. After tidying up the room, Lin Bei lay on the sofa and prepared to rest. But at that moment, his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID. Bai Ranran. Seeing this name, Lin Bei had a bad feeling, but he still picked up the phone. Soon, Bai Ranran¡¯s anxious voice came from the other end of the phone. ¡°Lin Bei! Where are you?¡± ¡°In the dormitory. What¡¯s the matter? I remember that there shouldn¡¯t be any classes today.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right! There are indeed no classes today! But there¡¯s combat training today! Teacher Du arranged it last week. Have you forgotten everything?!¡± ¡°¡Wait a moment, I¡¯ll be right there.¡± Lin Bei hung up without another word. Indeed, he had forgotten everything. Because too many things had happened in the past few days, such an important matter was thrown to the back of his mind. When he came back last night, he was in a daze from all the fatigue. He looked at the empty class schedule and thought that he had no class today. He did not expect to forget such an important thing. Whitey, who was still playing with its toys on the ground, was carried out of the dormitory by Lin Bei before it could react. Ten minutes later, Lin Bei finally arrived at the teaching location. As expected. The entire class had arrived, less Lin Bei. The moment she saw Lin Bei, Bai Ranran¡¯s expression softened a little. Then, she quickly walked to Lin Bei¡¯s side and whispered to him. ¡°Go and apologize to Teacher Du later. He probably won¡¯t punish you too strictly.¡± Hearing this, Lin Bei nodded. Du Bo¡¯s teaching style was something that all the students who had attended classes in his class are well aware of. He was so strict that one had better not make any mistakes or they would be severely punished regardless of how minor the offence. Therefore, very few students dared to break the rules in Du Bo¡¯s class. Not to mention a cardinal sin like being late for class. Seeing that Lin Bei was late, there were many people in the class who were similar to Da Hen. They hid in the crowd and looked at him gloatingly. Obviously, they all wanted to see Lin Bei make a fool of himself. It couldn¡¯t be helped. Any other day, they couldn¡¯t compare to Lin Bei anyway. Now, they could only rely on Old Poison to help them vent their anger. And yet¡ Just as Lin Bei walked towards Du Bo under everyone¡¯s gaze, he met Du Bo¡¯s concerned gaze. ¡°Lin Bei?¡± ¡°Yesterday, I heard that there seemed to be many accidents in the Sea Moon Forest. In an area where wild beasts have never appeared, there were actually wild beasts hurting people one after another.¡± ¡°I told you to go there yesterday. Are you alright?¡± Facing this sudden concern, Lin Bei did not react. However, he still subconsciously answered Du Bo¡¯s question. ¡°I was indeed surrounded by wild beasts yesterday, but they were all low-level Hyenas. Later on, for some reason, they were all scared away, so I managed to come back safely and successfully.¡± Hearing this answer, Du Bo frowned and let out a long sigh of relief. ¡°That¡¯s good.¡± ¡°It¡¯s my mistake this time. I should have asked a teacher go with you. I didn¡¯t think it through. As a teacher, I apologize to you.¡± Du Bo did not care about how Lin Bei escaped from those lowly Hyenas. Instead, he apologized to Lin Bei for his involvement in this. Lin Bei did not know how to react. What was going on? Wasn¡¯t he here to explain to the teacher that he was late? How did it become a teacher apologizing to him? Not only Lin Bei, but even the students standing at the side were stunned. What was going on?! Lin Bei went to the Sea Moon Forest himself and was surrounded by a group of Hyenas. In the end, he survived?! This was f*cking nonsense! Although they were still students, they still had some understanding of the Sea Moon Forest. Every week, there would be martial artists conducting a periodic cleanup. High-level wild beasts and those that move in packs would be cleaned out. How could there be a situation of being surrounded by Hyenas?! Lin Bei¡¯s words were too ridiculous to avoid the punishment of being late! However, Du Bo¡¯s reaction once again exceeded all the students¡¯ expectations. This famous Old Poison actually apologized to his student! Crazy! The world has gone completely crazy! The students were all shocked. Lin Bei brought Whitey back to the class calmly. At this moment, Du Bo¡¯s incomparably deep voice sounded in the ears of the students again. ¡°Students!¡± ¡°From today onwards, we will have such a combat training lesson every month.¡± ¡°The course content is to follow the city defense patrol of Sea City and help them eliminate the low-level wild beasts living in the Sea Moon Forest!¡± ¡°Remember, this combat lesson is dangerous. Remember not to act alone and not leave the team. If you find anything abnormal, you must report it to the teacher or the patrol team immediately.¡± ¡°Do you understand?¡± ¡°Understood!¡± The students replied loudly, their faces filled with excitement. Obviously, the actual combat classes this time had also moved them abnormally excited. ¡°That¡¯s great! I finally have the chance to experience actual combat!¡± ¡°Just don¡¯t run away when you see a Beast.¡± ¡°F*ck, who are you looking down on! My contract beast is a Black Yak! Do you believe that I¡¯ll let it send you flying?!¡± ¡°Sigh, all of you are like little brats who have never seen the world. What powerful wild beasts can there be in the Sea Moon Forest? We can¡¯t encounter them at all. The teacher is bringing us along as a formality.¡± ¡°What¡ I thought I had the chance to fight alongside my Black Yak.¡± ¡°¡¡± The students in the class discussed among themselves. Lin Bei stood at the side and did not say anything. He had personally experienced what the Sea Moon Forest was like yesterday. It was definitely not as peaceful as usual. If they really entered the Sea Moon Forest with this mentality, Lin Bei felt that something would happen to them. However, Lin Bei did not deliberately remind them. Firstly, they might not believe Lin Bei¡¯s words. Secondly, with Teacher Du Bo and the high-level martial artists of the patrol team following them, nothing big would happen, surely. Chapter 13 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios After Lin Bei and the others waited for a while, they saw a middle-aged man walking towards Du Bo with three young men in patrol uniforms. After seeing the four of them, Du Bo also went up to them. ¡°Old Du! Long time no see!¡± The middle-aged man was the first to speak. His voice was very bold, and it was obvious that he was a very straightforward person. ¡°Old Pei, you brought three bodyguards with you going out?¡± Du Bo picked up the conversation. A rare smile appeared on his ten-thousand-year-old poker face. The two of them were old classmates. However, after graduation, Du Bo chose to stay in Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts school and continue to be a teacher. Pei Feng joined Sea City¡¯s patrol team and became the city¡¯s guardian. ¡°Let me introduce you.¡± ¡°These three are my direct subordinates, Qin Yue, Xiao Feng, and Qu Wen.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t be fooled by their young age. All three of them are Level 7 Great Martial Masters!¡± Pei Feng said to Du Bo with a smile, as if he was showing off the young men he had brought out. The three of them greeted Du Bo very politely. Lin Bei stood in the class and heard their conversation clearly. When he heard their realms, he couldn¡¯t help but raise his eyebrows. Martial artists had the same realm as Demon Tamers, although the abilities they grasped were different. However, the cultivation realms were divided into Martial Apprentice, Martial Master, Great Martial Master, Martial King, Martial Grandmaster, Martial Royale and Martial Emperor. Lin Bei looked at the three of them. They were only in their early twenties, but they had already reached the realm of a Level 7 Great Martial Master. From the looks of it, these three people could indeed be considered to be accomplished in martial arts. Now that he thought about it, he had yet to officially step into the Martial Artist and was not even a Martial Apprentice. However, this was very normal for Demon Tamers. This was because martial artists who had been confirmed to have the talent of a Demon Tamer would usually not cultivate martial arts. Instead, they would convert the spiritual energy in their bodies into spiritual energy to nourish their souls. Only when his soul reached a certain level could he fight alongside his contract beast more easily. Usually, Demon Tamers would wait until their contract beasts had a certain level of combat ability before choosing to use spiritual energy to cultivate. This was because at that time, the contract beast could help the Demon Tamer¡¯s cultivation, making it twice as effective with half the effort. After exchanging a few more pleasantries with Pei Feng, Lin Bei and the others boarded the school bus to the Sea Moon Forest. In the car, Lin Bei deliberately chose a corner seat. However, as soon as he sat down, Bai Ranran sat beside him with a peach blossom-like face. The young girl¡¯s aura floated over. Lin Bei opened the car window. Phew. It was much more comfortable. ¡°Can I touch it?¡± Bai Ranran¡¯s voice rang in his ears. Lin Bei turned around and met her expectant gaze. She was pointing at Lin Bei¡¯s thigh. Of course, ¡®it¡¯ was referred to the cat on Lin Bei¡¯s lap. ¡°Anything, as long as it doesn¡¯t refuse.¡± Hearing this, Bai Ranran took it that Lin Bei had agreed, so she carefully reached out to touch Whitey¡¯s head. However, just as they were about to touch, Whitey dodged. Bai Ranran¡¯s hand stopped in mid-air. The atmosphere was slightly awkward, and Bai Ranran could only retract her hand in disappointment. ¡°I guess its a little shy.¡± Lin Bei spoke to ease the atmosphere. Only then did Bai Ranran¡¯s expression improve. They rode in silence. An hour later, the school bus stopped at the entrance of the Sea Moon Forest. Lin Bei looked out of the window. This entrance was the same as the one he came to yesterday. It was also located in the most peripheral area of Sea City. It was the border between Sea Moon Forest and Sea City. The students in the car alighted one after another. In the end, the entire class was divided into five groups. Du Bo, Pei Feng, and his three subordinates, Qin Yue, Xiao Feng, and Qu Wen, each led six students into the Sea Moon Forest. Then, they split up to clean up the Sea Moon Forest. Lin Bei, Bai Ranran, and a boy and two girls that Lin Bei was not familiar with were assigned to the same group. Their leader was the only woman in the patrol team, Qin Yue. Lin Bei looked over. The boy in the same group as him was the one who told the others that the forest was very boring, Xue Changfeng. The moment he saw Xue Changfeng, Lin Bei lowered his head and sighed. He only hoped that he would not cause any trouble. As for Bai Ranran, Lin Bei was not particularly worried. This was because her contract beast was an Inferior Seventh-grade Red Mane Lion. Although it was only a Level 1 wild beast, it should not have a problem protecting itself in this forest. As for the remaining two girls¡ Lin Bei did not even know their names. He only knew that they seemed to have a good relationship. However, he did not pay much attention to it. After assigning the group, Du Bo stood at the front of the group and spoke to the students in the class. ¡°Students, remember!¡± ¡°Safety first in this combat lesson!¡± ¡°No matter what the situation is, you have to prioritize your safety! Secondly, you have to fully learn combat experience. Remember how to fight alongside your contract beast!¡± ¡°Is that clear? !¡± ¡°Loud and clear!¡± The students replied loudly again. In the end, after Du Bo made some arrangements, the five teams entered the Sea Moon Forest. Lin Bei¡¯s team was the last to enter. The five captains led in different directions, but their final destination was the same. As soon as they entered the forest, a cold aura assaulted their faces. This made the three girls in the team, including Bai Ranran, shiver. Lin Bei frowned slightly. Because he could clearly feel that the humidity in the air here seemed to be even higher than when he came yesterday. This was clearly not very reasonable. Qin Yue, who was walking at the front, did not seem to notice anything amiss. She still walked into the forest, comforting the students behind her as she walked. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, students. We¡¯re just moving around the outer layer of the forest.¡± ¡°The clean-up work in the innermost layer will be handed over to the professionals to handle, so we won¡¯t encounter any danger.¡± Hearing this, the other two girls in the team heaved a sigh of relief. The team slowly advanced. Qin Yue took out an electronic map from her pocket. It recorded the route they had to complete this time. Now that they had just entered the forest, they were still a long way from completing the mission. Time passed slowly, and the six of them walked on the forest path. Along the way, they did not encounter any wild beasts. This made the four students, except for Lin Bei, feel a little bored. But at this moment. Whitey, who had been standing quietly on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder, suddenly let out a meow. Chapter 14 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°Meow!¡± Hearing Whitey¡¯s voice, Lin Bei stopped and reached out to pat Whitey¡¯s head. He was a little surprised. At this moment, Xue Changfeng¡¯s voice sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s ear. ¡°What¡¯s going on, Lin Bei? Is your little white cat afraid?¡± ¡°It won¡¯t just leave you and run away, will it?¡± ¡°Hahahahaha!¡± Hearing this, Lin Bei ignored Xue Changfeng and looked at Whitey, who had been standing on his shoulder. Although he and Whitey had only been together for a few days, However, Lin Bei knew very well that Whitey is much more intelligent than other cats. It was impossible for it to cry out in such a situation for no reason. Besides¡ The cry just now was clearly different from its usual coquettish voice. ¡°Do you feel something?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey called out again in response to Lin Bei¡¯s words. Then, Whitey ran to the front of the team and shouted into the depths of the forest. ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Seeing Whitey¡¯s reaction, Lin Bei frowned. Qin Yue also stopped in her tracks and looked at Lin Bei strangely. ¡°Student, is this your contract beast?¡± She asked curiously. In fact, she had wanted to ask when they had just formed a team. That was because the cat looked no different from an ordinary cat. However, on second thought, it seemed rude to ask so directly, so Qin Yue did not speak up about it for a long time. Now that she had finally found an opportunity, she naturally would not miss it. Lin Bei nodded and spoke his mind. ¡°Teacher Qin, there should be something up ahead. I think we have to report it to Teacher Du.¡± ¡°Something¡¯s happening?¡± Qin Yue was stunned for a moment before a strange expression appeared on her face. She was a Level 7 Great Martial Master after all. If anything happened, she should be the first to discover it, not a Demon Tamer without any spiritual energy in his body. Moreover¡ Lin Bei¡¯s contract beast did not seem very reliable. However, before Qin Yue could speak, Xue Changfeng, who was standing at the side, spoke first. ¡°Lin Bei, I thought your cat was afraid!¡± ¡°In the end, you¡¯re the one who¡¯s afraid! Hahahahahaha!¡± ¡°If anything happens, Sister Qin Yue will know before you do! Asking to report to Teacher Du! You¡¯re killing me here!¡± However, Lin Bei did not even look at Xue Changfeng. This made him feel as if he had been humiliated. His face turned red. Qin Yue also looked at Lin Bei and said patiently. ¡°Lin Bei, if you¡¯re not feeling well, you can apply for leave with the teacher.¡± ¡°This way, you can leave the forest early and wait for the mission to end on the school bus.¡± Seeing Qin Yue¡¯s answer, Lin Bei had no intention of explaining further. He waved at Whitey and called it back to his side before speaking to Qin Yue. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Teacher Qin.¡± ¡°I¡¯m indeed not feeling well, I¡¯ll take my leave first.¡± With that, Lin Bei led Whitey out of the forest. Bai Ranran looked in the direction that Lin Bei had left in and couldn¡¯t help but feel a little strange. In her memory, Lin Bei was definitely not the kind of person who would run away at the last minute. Besides, it wasn¡¯t particularly dangerous. Moreover, Teacher Du had just told him that Lin Bei seemed to have come to the Sea Moon Forest yesterday¡ At the thought of this, Bai Ranran suddenly seemed to have recalled something and hurriedly turned to Qin Yue. ¡°I¡¯m really sorry, Sister Qin Yue. I¡¯m not feeling well either!¡± ¡°I¡¯ll go back to the school bus with Lin Bei first.¡± With that, before Qin Yue could speak, Bai Ranran had already chased after Lin Bei with her Red Mane Lion. Looking at the two of them leave, Qin Yue shook her head helplessly. ¡°Sigh, youngsters these days.¡± In her opinion, only Lin Bei really wanted to leave, and Bai Ranran was just chasing after him to leave with him. However, this did not have much to do with her. She only needed to bring the students and complete her mission. As for how many students took leave and left, it had nothing to do with her. ¡°Who else wants to leave? Just leave with them.¡± Qin Yue asked. The two girls shook their heads, and Xue Changfeng took the opportunity to step on Lin Bei. ¡°Sister Qin Yue, don¡¯t worry. I¡¯m not like that coward Lin Bei!¡± ¡°He may look quite powerful, but he¡¯s actually a coward!¡± Hearing this, Qin Yue only nodded and continued to lead the remaining three students deeper. On the other side, Lin Bei heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and realized that Bai Ranran had followed him. Lin Bei could not help but feel puzzled. However, he did not ask. Instead, he turned around and continued walking in the direction of the school bus. ¡°Lin Bei! Wait for me!¡± Bai Ranran could not help but shout when she saw Lin Bei turn around and walk away without slowing down. Upon hearing this, Lin Bei knew that it would be rude if he continued like this. Hence, he could only stop. However, the moment he stopped, Bai Ranran, who was behind him, did not manage to stop in time and tripped over a stone. Seeing that she was about to fall to the ground, Lin Bei could only quickly support Bai Ranran. However¡ This place did not seem to be suitable. Feeling the softness of youth, Lin Bei quickly retracted his right hand. Bai Ranran stood up with a red face. She knew that Lin Bei didn¡¯t do it on purpose, so she didn¡¯t say it out loud. After all, the two of them might be the ones embarrassed by her words. ¡°Is Whitey¡¯s perception especially sharp?¡± Bai Ranran changed the topic. Lin Bei nodded. Only then did Bai Ranran look thoughtfully at Whitey on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. ¡°No wonder¡¡± ¡°No wonder what?¡± ¡°No wonder you left first. Whitey must have sensed something. That¡¯s why you wanted to report to Teacher Du.¡± ¡°Hm¡ Since you guessed it, why didn¡¯t you tell them?¡± ¡°So what if I tell them? If they don¡¯t believe you, will they believe me? Besides¡ with Sister Qin Yue around, nothing big should happen.¡± After Bai Ranran said that, the way Lin Bei looked at her changed. She is a smart woman. Lin Bei thought. However, at this moment, an angry beast roar suddenly broke the silence of the Sea Moon Forest. Chapter 15 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 15: One Against Four! The Powerful Whitey! ¡°Roar!!¡± The sudden voice made Bai Ranran tremble in fear. Even the Red Mane Lion beside her could not help but lean behind her. Lin Bei frowned. From the terrifying roar just now, it was impossible to accurately tell what Demonic Beast it was. However, judging from the penetrative power and the effect on the Red Mane Lion, it was definitely not something a low-level wild beast could do. ¡°Let¡¯s go.¡± Lin Bei did not have time to think and turned to Bai Ranran. Bai Ranran¡¯s reaction was also very fast. She immediately came back to her senses. Although she was still a little afraid, she knew very well that there was nothing more important than leaving this forest quickly. But the moment she turned around, another shadow suddenly swept past her. Lin Bei hurriedly stretched out his arm and pulled Bai Ranran behind him. The black shadow flew over their heads and stopped not far away. It was a Hyena. No, that¡¯s not right. To be precise, there should be five of them! Because the other four slowly walked out of the grass and bared their fangs. Saliva flowed from their mouths, and their red eyes did not hide their desire for food at all. Clearly, Lin Bei and Bai Ranran had been treated as prey. ¡°Roar¡¡± A low beast roar entered Lin Bei¡¯s ears. He quickly recognized that these five Hyenas were very likely the ones who attacked him yesterday. Still¡ He might have avoided the battle yesterday. But today, he had no reason to hide anymore. Lin Bei touched Whitey¡¯s head and whispered into its ear. ¡°Whitey, end it as soon as possible. Otherwise, more wild beasts might surround us.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded. Then, its legs kicked hard, and its entire body shot out like a bow. Whitey was now a Level 3 Beast. Facing these low-level Hyenas, there was no reason to be afraid. Bai Ranran, who was standing at the side, pointed at the Hyena in front of her and said to the Red Maned Lion beside her. ¡°Scarlet! Bite them to death!¡± ¡°ROAR!¡± Upon hearing Bai Ranran¡¯s order, the Red Mane Lion raised its head and let out a deep lion roar before charging towards one of the Hyenas. Although the Red Mane Lion was only a Level 1 beast, its bloodline level was comparable to an Inferior Seventh grade. These ordinary low-level Hyenas were not its match at all. Terrifying strength and sharp claws instantly tore through the Hyena¡¯s defense, pressing a Hyena on his body and biting crazily. Lin Bei pulled Bai Ranran to another relatively safe spot. As for Whitey, he did not need to worry at all. At this moment, it was like a white bolt of lightning, repeatedly moving between the four Hyenas. Its light speed made it impossible for the Hyenas to touch its fur. Not only that, Whitey was still causing some damage to these Hyenas while dodging. The cat¡¯s paws would hit the weakest parts of these Hyenas¡¯ bodies every time. Sometimes, it would hit their stomachs, and sometimes, it would hit their ribs. The sound of bones shattering kept coming. In just dozens of seconds, the four Hyenas surrounding Whitey were already covered in injuries. Some were blinded, some were limping, and some were lying on the ground on their last breaths. Seeing this scene, Bai Ranran covered her mouth in surprise, her beautiful eyes filled with shock. ¡°Lin Bei! Your Whitey¡ It¡¯s so powerful!¡± Bai Ranran didn¡¯t know how to express her current feelings. Bai Ranran already felt that the Red Mane Lion, which had an Inferior Seventh grade bloodline, was very powerful after killing a Hyena in more than ten seconds. After all, Hyenas were the kind of Demonic Beasts that could attack and defend. However, she looked at Lin Bei¡¯s Whitey. In just ten seconds, it had already dealt with four Hyenas! Moreover, it did not let the other party touch it the entire time! This, was this really just an ordinary cat¡? It was too fierce! After a while, Whitey, who had finished dealing with the four Hyenas, jumped back onto Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Lin Bei felt a weight on his shoulder and almost lost his balance. Indeed, Whitey was no longer as light as before. Although its size did not seem to be much different from before, However, as its bloodline and realm level increased, its muscle density had already increased by several times. When it landed on his shoulder, it was naturally much heavier than before. ¡°Looks like if I don¡¯t cultivate and improve myself, I won¡¯t even be able to carry Whitey.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. He looked at Whitey again. At this moment, it was elegantly licking its right paw. Its expression was filled with pride and anticipation for praise. Seeing its expression, Lin Bei reached out and touched Whitey¡¯s head. ¡°Not bad. You performed very well. I¡¯ll reward you with an extra box of canned food when we get back.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± [You praised Whitey. It feels very happy. Experience +30] Good God! This could even increase experience points! Lin Bei was also delighted. At the same time, the Red Mane Lion returned to Bai Ranran¡¯s side. ¡°Alright, we have to leave quickly. There might be a bestial tide inside. If we don¡¯t leave now, we¡¯ll be in danger.¡± ¡°The others should be fine with the teacher-in-charge around.¡± Bai Ranran nodded. She had read about the bestial tide in her textbooks. Simply put, the Demonic Beasts had rioted. As for the reason for the appearance of the bestial tide, there were various reasons. Moreover, according to the scale, there were three types. Small, medium and large. If it was a small bestial tide, it would only cause a riot in the area. The Demonic Beasts in the area would attack Humans indiscriminately and would gather together, but they usually would not leave the area. Medium bestial tides were different. Once a medium bestial tide occurred, the nearby cities would have to be on guard because the rampaging Demonic Beasts might start attacking the nearby cities. Large bestial tides were even more terrifying. In large bestial tides, there would often be a Demon King. Demon Kings were at least Demonic Beasts. Not only would they bring a large number of Demonic Beasts to attack the city, but they would also gather more Demonic Beasts to join their team. If more than two bestial tides gathered together, it was very likely that a huge disaster would occur. In history, there were no less than ten cities that were hit by large-scale bestial tides. Moreover, every time a large-scale tide appeared, Humans would definitely suffer heavy casualties! Bai Ranran raised her head and looked into the depths of the forest. Worry appeared in his eyes. ¡°I hope this bestial tide won¡¯t be too serious.¡± Chapter 16 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Lin Bei glanced at Bai Ranran and warned. ¡°Don¡¯t be in a daze. If we don¡¯t hurry up, we¡¯ll be the ones in danger.¡± ¡°They have a teacher leading them. As long as they don¡¯t encounter any Demonic Beasts, there shouldn¡¯t be any problems.¡± Bai Ranran quickly nodded and turned around to follow Lin Bei. Along the way, her gaze was fixed on Whitey, who was on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. She could not imagine how a cat could unleash such powerful strength. ¡°Lin Bei, what realm is your cat at now?¡± Although it was a little rude, Bai Ranran could not suppress her curiosity and asked softly. Lin Bei glanced at her. This glance gave Bai Ranran a fright, and she quickly retracted her gaze like a frightened white rabbit. ¡°If you don¡¯t want to talk about it, you can choose not to tell me¡¡± ¡°Level 3 Wild Beast.¡± Lin Bei said. There was nothing to hide. After all, it wouldn¡¯t be long before the class test. At that time, he would definitely not be able to hide it. He might as well tell her now, lest it was too troublesome to pretend in the future. ¡°Oh, I see. A Level 3 Wild Beast.¡± ¡°Wait, wait, wait! What level?! Level 3 Wild Beast!!¡± Lin Bei¡¯s answer shocked Bai Ranran again. Level 3 Wild Beast! Everyone had obtained their contract beasts at the same time. It had only been three days, but Lin Bei¡¯s contract beast had already reached Level 3! Even her Seventh-grade Red Mane Lion had only reached the realm of a Level 1 wild beast yesterday! Lin Bei¡¯s was already a Level 3 wild beast! One level a day. This cultivation speed was too terrifying! Lin Bei glanced at the shocked Bai Ranran beside him and could not be bothered to explain further. If she knew that Whitey had upgraded from a Level 1 wild beast to a Level 3 wild beast in just one day, she would be shocked. There was no need for Lin Bei to tell others about these details. However, just as the two of them were rushing towards the school bus. Another low beast roar suddenly echoed in their ears. ¡°Roar¡¡± This time, the sound was completely different from the mixed roars and Hyenas in front. It was obvious that the other party¡¯s level far exceeded that of low-level beasts. It was very likely that he had already reached mid-level beasts! ¡°Be careful!¡± Lin Bei frowned and said. Bai Ranran was also frightened by the roar. She stood rooted to the ground and did not dare to say another word. She quickly nodded. At this moment, Whitey, who was standing on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder, immediately entered a combat state. He arched his body slightly and extended his claws. ¡°There are wild beasts nearby, and their cultivation levels are not low.¡± Bai Ranran took a step back in fear and stood behind Lin Bei. The Red Mane Lion beside her turned around and looked behind Lin Bei and Bai Ranran. It could only be said that Scarlet was indeed a wild beast with a Seventh-grade bloodline. This was only a Level 1 beast, but it already had the subconsciousness to protect Demon Tamers. It glared fiercely at the beasts behind it that might appear at any moment. ¡°Whitey, do you know its exact location?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded. In the next second, it jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s body and glared at a tree that was several meters tall. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey let out another cry, as if it was warning him. However, in the next moment, a black shadow jumped down from the top of the tree. Whitey reacted quickly and dodged the attack. However, the Red Mane Lion was not so lucky. The black shadow smashed into the ground, and the huge impact sent the Red Mane Lion¡¯s body flying several meters. ¡°Roar!!¡± The dust was raised more than a meter high. Lin Bei could vaguely tell the species of the beast from the outline in the dust. Gorilla! When the dust completely dissipated, a terrifying existence with black fur and bulging muscles stood in front of the two of them. A Black Gorilla! Moreover, judging from its aura, it was at least a mid-level beast! ¡°Scarlet!¡± Bai Ranran quickly ran over when she saw the Red Mane Lion being flipped to the ground. ¡°Don¡¯t move!¡± Lin Bei quickly shouted, but it was too late. The moving Bai Ranran immediately became the Gorilla¡¯s first target. It swung its right arm on the tree behind it and snapped off a one-meter-long branch. Then, it ran towards Bai Ranran with both hands on the ground. Seeing this, Lin Bei quickly pounced and pushed Bai Ranran to the ground, dodging the Gorilla¡¯s attack. At this moment, the Red Mane Lion also stood up, its eyes affixed on the Gorilla in front of it. Lin Bei frowned and looked at Bai Ranran. ¡°Are you all right?¡± ¡°No, nothing¡ I¡¯m sorry for implicating you.¡± ¡°We don¡¯t even have time to cultivate now. Our combat strength is inferior to our contracted beasts. Don¡¯t go up and cause trouble.¡± ¡°Yeah¡ okay.¡± The two of them stood up and looked ahead. The Red Mane Lion and Whitey stood opposite the Gorilla. The berserking Gorilla held the numbers tightly in its hands. Its tree trunk-like thick arms kept knocking on its chest, emitting a dull sound. Lin Bei looked at the thick-skinned black Gorilla and quickly thought of a countermeasure. Facing such an existence with extremely strong defense, Whitey, who had not comprehended any skills, would appear especially weak. Moreover, the other party had an advantage in terms of realm. Under such circumstances, it was very likely that it could not even break through the Gorilla¡¯s defense. As for the Red Mane Lion, it had offensive abilities. Due to the difference in realm, it had no means of contending with the Gorilla. What to do now! What to do now! Lin Bei¡¯s mind raced as he tried to think of a solution. At this moment, the Black Gorilla launched another attack. Every time its strong body stepped on the ground, it would make a thumping sound. The target it chose was also very smart. It was the Red Mane Lion, whose speed and strength were inferior to its! ¡°Phew!¡± The one-meter-long tree branch cut through the air. The huge force of the Black Gorilla caused the tree branch to make a loud sound the moment it hit the red mane lion! ¡°Roar!!¡± The pained Red Mane Lion wanted to retaliate, but the Black Gorilla grabbed its front claws and threw it out. This was how a battle between beasts was like. Before learning a skill, it was basically no different from fighting in nature. It relied on size and strength. In both aspects, the Black Gorilla had clearly crushed the Red Mane Lion. As for Whitey, the Black Gorilla did not have the ability to catch it, so it smartly chose to deal with it last! However, just as the Black Gorilla was about to continue chasing the Red Mane Lion, Lin Bei finally thought of a way to deal with it! Chapter 17 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios ¡°System panel!¡± Lin Bei summoned the system interface in his mind. Looking at the remaining 550 experience points on the interface, he added all 300 points to its demon power. Just like that, Whitey¡¯s demonic power instantly increased from 0 to 30 points! [Ding! Detected that Whitey¡¯s demonic power has reached 30 points. The system will automatically choose three skills for Whitey. Host, please choose one!] The system¡¯s voice sounded, and Lin Bei was overjoyed. As expected, he had made the right bet! If he chose one out of three, there should be a useful skill! Lin Bei thought to himself. At the same time, a light screen that only he could see appeared in front of him! [Crazy Scratching: The contract beast strengthens its claws and teeth, causing multiple claw attacks on the target and has a high chance of causing the target to bleed! (The stronger the contract beast¡¯s physique, the more obvious the effect, and the higher the probability of bleeding)] [Self-Sacrificial Attack: The contract beast will launch a Self-Sacrificial Attack at the target. While causing huge damage, it will also suffer the reaction force of the impact and receive a certain amount of damage! (The stronger the contract beast¡¯s physique, the more obvious the effect, and the less damage it will suffer from the reaction force)] [Blinding: The contract beast accurately attacks the target¡¯s eyes, causing small damage. At the same time, there is a probability of causing the other party to enter a blind state! (The stronger the contract beast¡¯s physique, the more obvious the effect)] Looking at the first two skills, Lin Bei was shocked. Because not one skill was able to turn the tide of the battle, when he looked at the third skill, Lin Bei smiled. Blinding! Very good. The Black Gorilla was indeed very strong, but if he couldn¡¯t see anything, then his power was meaningless! Lin Bei did not hesitate and chose the third skill. [Confirm again! Do you choose the skill ¡°Blinding¡±?] ¡°Yes!¡± He replied in his mind. [Congratulations, Host! Comprehension successful!] [The skill you comprehended for Whitey, Whitey is very happy. Experience +200] 300 experience points for 200 experience points. He even obtained a skill. It was not a loss! Lin Bei looked at the Black Gorilla that was about to attack the Red Mane Lion again and shouted at Whitey. ¡°Whitey, blind it!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Hearing Lin Bei¡¯s words, Whitey leaped several meters into the air. Then, a faint light flickered on its claws. The next moment, Whitey cut through the air like a falling star and clawed at the Gorilla¡¯s eyes. ¡°Roar!!¡± It was a direct hit! A shimmering claw mark instantly appeared in the Gorilla¡¯s eyes. At the same time, it lost its sight. Falling into the darkness, the insecure Black Gorilla began to wave the wooden branch in its hand crazily. In the end, it got further and further away from the Red Mane Lion. ¡°Success!¡± Lin Bei clenched his fists in excitement. This was the first time Whitey had used a skill. He did not expect it to be successful in blinding him on the first try. Bai Ranran, who was standing beside Lin Bei, was shocked. ¡°Just now, that was a skill¡¡± Bai Ranran was in disbelief. Although a contract beast need not have a fixed realm before comprehending a skill, it usually happens after turning Level 5 at least. Only some contracted beasts with extremely high bloodlines could have a few bloodline skills when they first signed the contract. However, one had to at least have a Fifth-grade bloodline! But what was wrong with Lin Bei¡¯s cat? He was clearly only a Level 3 wild beast, so how did he comprehend a skill?! Bai Ranran was extremely shocked. She looked at Lin Bei with a complicated expression. Suddenly, she realized that she could not see through this person at all. The contracted beast was clearly an extremely ordinary cat, but it had already reached the realm of a Level 3 wild beast and had even comprehended a skill! In comparison, her contracted beast was clearly a Seventh-grade Red Mane Lion, but its realm had barely broken through to a Level 1 wild beast. As for skills, it was still far away. This gap was really not just a little! Just as Bai Ranran was feeling deeply hurt, Lin Bei¡¯s voice entered her ears. ¡°What are you waiting for! Get your Red Mane Lion to attack the Black Gorilla!¡± ¡°Ah! Oh, okay!¡± Bai Ranran quickly composed herself and looked at the Black Gorilla that had lost its sight. Lin Bei did not know how long this blinding effect would last. Therefore, they had to end the battle quickly! ¡°Scarlet! Find an opportunity to attack it!¡± ¡°Roar!!¡± After receiving Bai Ranran¡¯s order, the Red Mane Lion immediately adjusted its state and stared at the Black Gorilla in front of it. Clearly, the Red Mane Lion was also very vengeful. Finally, the Red Mane Lion found an opportunity. After a lion roar, it directly pushed the Gorilla to the ground. The Gorilla, who had lost its vision, had yet to adapt for a moment. Its balance was very poor. It was almost pressed to the ground with a single collision. Seeing this, Lin Bei immediately seized the opportunity. ¡°Whitey!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey jumped up a few meters again, then turned its body into a meteorite and smashed it hard at the Gorilla¡¯s head. Meow Meow Fist! ¡°Bang!¡± The sound of a skull shattering could be heard. The Gorilla, who was still struggling desperately, completely lost its life and lay on the ground. ¡°It¡¯s over.¡± Lin Bei muttered. Bai Ranran¡¯s body went limp and she almost fell to the ground. Fortunately, Lin Bei quickly caught her. That the battle just now had indeed frightened Bai Ranran. She managed to hold it together till the Red Mane Lion and Whitey defeated the Gorilla. Then, the two of them might not be able to walk out of this forest. Fortunately, they still managed in the end. Lin Bei walked forward and looked at the Gorilla¡¯s corpse. Soon, he noticed that the Gorilla seemed to be holding something in its other hand. With great effort, he pried open the Gorilla¡¯s left hand. Inside was a crystal clear red fruit! Spirit Fruit! The moment they saw this fruit, Lin Bei and Bai Ranran revealed shocked expressions. ¡°No wonder it deliberately broke a branch to fight us just now.¡± ¡°So the other one has a treasure in his hand.¡± Lin Bei teased. Bai Ranran looked at the Spirit Fruit and sighed. ¡°Take this Spirit Fruit. If not for you, Scarlet and I might have died here.¡± Upon hearing this, Lin Bei did not stand on ceremony and put the Spirit Fruit away. He put it into his storage space when Bai Ranran was not paying attention. At the same time, he took out a Spirit Stone from his storage space and handed it to Bai Ranran. ¡°Take this as compensation for the hard work of your Red Mane Lion.¡± Chapter 18 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Chapter 18: Safe Return! ¡°Spirit stone!¡± When she saw the crystal clear stone in Lin Bei¡¯s hand, Bai Ranran¡¯s eyes widened in disbelief. Although, the Spirit Fruit¡¯s worth was actually far more than a low-grade Spirit Stone. In fact, if it was sold on the market, it could sell for three or even five low-grade Spirit Stones! However¡ Bai Ranran knew how precious low-grade Spirit Stones were. Other than some martial arts aristocratic families or some merchant families, it was impossible for ordinary people to come into contact with this thing in their entire lives! Looking at Lin Bei, he actually gave her a low-grade Spirit Stone! This, this was too preposterous! Could it be that Lin Bei¡¯s background¡ At the thought of this, Bai Ranran¡¯s mind started to spin. She carefully recalled everything that had happened before. First, he had contracted an extremely ordinary cat, but this cat had actually advanced to the realm of a Level 3 wild beast in just three days. Moreover, it had comprehended a skill! Coupled with the fact that he had taken out a low-grade Spirit Stone¡ At this moment, Lin Bei did not know that Bai Ranran had already linked him to some martial arts families! However, in Lin Bei¡¯s opinion, the reason why he gave her a low-grade Spirit Stone was because if there was no Red Mane Lion in the end, it would indeed be difficult for him to deal with the Gorilla. The best outcome would be for Lin Bei to leave safely with Whitey. It was obviously impossible to obtain this Spirit Fruit. However, Bai Ranran refused to accept the low-grade Spirit Stone no matter what. Lin Bei did not force her. ¡®It¡¯s good that you don¡¯t want it. I even saved a low-grade Spirit Stone.¡¯ After putting away the Spirit Stone, the two of them walked towards the school bus again. This time, the journey was much more peaceful than before. They did not encounter any other mid-level wild beasts. Occasionally, a few low-level beasts would appear, but they were quickly dealt with by Whitey and the Red Mane Lion. Finally, an hour later, Lin Bei and Bai Ranran walked out of the Sea Moon Forest. As soon as they went out, they heard a familiar voice shouting outside. ¡°It¡¯s Lin Bei! And Bai Ranran!¡± ¡°They¡¯re back! They¡¯re both back!¡± The moment he heard the voice, he looked up and saw his classmates standing in front of the school bus. Du Bo, Pei Feng, and Qin Yue looked worried, as if they were anxiously waiting for something. However, when they heard the voice, the three of them raised their heads and looked at the two of them. After seeing them, the three of them heaved a sigh of relief. Du Bo hurried forward, checking that neither of them had been physically harmed. Pei Feng followed behind with a serious expression. After checking to make sure that neither of them was injured, Du Bo was completely relieved. ¡°Fortunately, nothing happened.¡± ¡°It¡¯s too dangerous this time.¡± Soon, Lin Bei learned the whole story from Du Bo. For some unknown reason, the Demonic Beasts in the entire Sea Moon Forest rioted and began to attack all the Humans crazily. The students led by Du Bo and Pei Feng were still alright. The two of them were strong enough and were not injured. However, the students in Qin Yue, Xiao Feng, and Qu Wen¡¯s teams were not so lucky. Although the three of them were Level 7 Great Martial Masters, they had no time to care about the students around them when facing the wild beasts that were surging over like a tide. Therefore, the students in the three teams were more or less injured. Fortunately, no students died, but because of this, the contract beasts of two contestants died. Without a contracted beast, Demon Tamers were no different from ordinary martial artists. In fact¡ Without special talents, they were even inferior to most martial artists. It was precisely because of this that they cried very loudly in the crowd. Lin Bei glanced at him and noticed Xue Changfeng. His clothes were torn to varying degrees. On Xue Changfeng¡¯s right was his dead contract beast. Qin Yue could only apologize. There was no other way. After all, in that situation, it was already very good to be able to keep the students alive. However, when Du Bo and Pei Feng found out that Lin Bei and Bai Ranran had encountered a Level 5 wild beast, they were especially shocked. Although Level 5 beasts were very weak in their eyes, the students could have been instantly killed in that situation. However, for these Demon Tamer students who had not even started cultivating and had only obtained their contract beasts for three days, they were definitely invincible. However, when Bai Ranran said that Lin Bei had killed the Gorilla, the two of them looked at him in shock. For a moment, they could not imagine how Lin Bei did it. Regarding this, Lin Bei only expressed that he was lucky. As for the Spirit Fruit, Bai Ranran and Lin Bei did not mention it. It was obvious that the fewer people knew about this, the better. ¡°Old Du, take the students back first. Leave the rest to us.¡± ¡°The cause of the bestial tide has yet to be investigated. It¡¯s better not to come to the Sea Moon Forest again before that.¡± Pei Feng¡¯s expression was solemn as he looked into the depths of the Sea Moon Forest. The bestial tide this time was too sudden. Moreover, it was very strange. He had a feeling that something bad was about to happen. To this, Du Bo nodded. Indeed, what Pei Feng said made sense. It was too dangerous to bring a group of students here. If they were not careful and the bestial tide turned into a medium-sized one, this group of students might be the first to die. ¡°Then I¡¯ll go back first.¡± ¡°Be careful here. If anything happens, you can contact the school.¡± Pei Feng nodded. Just like that, everyone in the class got on the school bus back to school. This time, Bai Ranran did not go to Lin Bei¡¯s side. Lin Bei felt much quieter. He touched Whitey, who was sitting on his lap, and looked out the window. Time passed slowly. When he returned to school, night had already fallen. After Du Bo said a few simple words and comforted the students whose contract beasts had died, he arranged for them to return to their dormitories. Lin Bei did not stay for long. He bought some daily necessities from the supermarket and walked towards his dormitory. At this moment, a girl in a black dress suddenly appeared in front of Lin Bei and blocked his path. ¡°Lin Bei! If I don¡¯t look for you, are you not going to look for me?¡± Chapter 19 Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios Hearing the familiar voice of the girl in front of him, Lin Bei did not know whether to laugh or cry. Unexpectedly, he was already tired enough today. He actually bumped into this character. Hai Xin put her hands on her hips and looked at Lin Bei angrily. ¡°I just came back from the Sea Moon Forest.¡± Lin Bei scratched his head and replied. ¡°Sea Moon Forest? You guys went to the Sea Moon Forest today?!¡± Hai Xin¡¯s expression changed. Her angry expression immediately became worried. ¡°I heard that there was a small bestial tide there today. Are you injured?¡± Lin Bei waved his hand. ¡°I¡¯m fine. I¡¯m lucky. I¡¯m not injured.¡± ¡°That¡¯s good.¡± ¡°This is not the place to talk. Let¡¯s go to my dormitory.¡± Five minutes later, they arrived at Lin Bei¡¯s dormitory. Placing the bag on the table, Whitey jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and walked to the rice bowl in a few steps. Then, it meowed twice. This hint was already very obvious. ¡°Okay, okay, don¡¯t worry.¡± Lin Bei smiled. It had to be said that as its bloodline level and realm increased, Whitey¡¯s intelligence had indeed been developed to a certain extent. Most of the time, its expression looked like a Human. On the sofa, Hai Xin stared at Whitey, her beautiful eyes filled with curiosity. ¡°Lin Bei, your contract beast looks very smart.¡± ¡°My Ice Crystal Spirit Fox has a Superior Fourth-grade bloodline. It doesn¡¯t seem to be much different from your cat.¡± Lin Bei raised his eyebrows. ¡°Is it that exaggerated? However, Whitey does seem to be much smarter than the other contract beasts.¡± ¡°Maybe he¡¯s more like the owner.¡± Hai Xin rolled her eyes. ¡°Have you eaten dinner tonight? Let me freeload at your house. I¡¯ll be going for special training in a few days. I probably won¡¯t be able to return to school for at least a month.¡± ¡°Special training?¡± Lin Bei stuck his head out of the kitchen and looked at Hai Xin strangely. This was the first time he had heard of this term. He had never heard of such a thing as special training in school. ¡°Yes, it seems to be a special training organized by Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts school for the best batch of martial artists in the school.¡± ¡°Although they are called martial artists, in fact, more than half of them are Demon Tamers.¡± Lin Bei nodded. Indeed, a talent like Hai Xin would definitely be valued in any school. She was a month younger than Lin Bei, but she was already a Level 1 Martial Master. Moreover, her contracted beast bloodline was Superior Fourth grade, and her realm had increased to a Level 2 dire beast. This result had almost broken the previous record of Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts school. If nothing went wrong, Haixin would soon become a rising star in Sea City. As he thought about it, Lin Bei prepared dinner for the day. He placed the dinner on the table and placed a can of beast-level cat food in front of Whitey. The two of them and the cat started dinner time. Half an hour later, Hai Xin left Lin Bei¡¯s dormitory. Once again, only Lin Bei and Whitey were left in the room. After giving it a simple bath and doing some daily activities to increase its experience points, Lin Bei took out his biggest gain today from his storage space. A Spirit Fruit. To be precise, it should be a low-grade Spirit Fruit. This was because the patterns it showed were not that clear. Clearly, it was not too old, and the spiritual qi in its body was not that pure. However¡ This was enough for Whitey, who had just reached Level 3. As soon as Lin Bei placed the Spirit Fruit on the table, Whitey, who had been playing with dolls and mice on the sofa, rushed over. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s arm, its eyes not hiding its desire for the Spirit Fruit at all. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, it is all yours.¡± Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head. According to his memory, the consumption method of low-level spiritual herbs and low-level Spirit Fruits was similar. Because the spiritual energy it contains is not that concentrated, there was no need to use other supplementary medicines. Taking out the fruit knife, Lin Bei cut the Spirit Fruit into four pieces and placed them in front of Whitey. Looking at the Spirit Fruit in front of it, Whitey no longer held back and wolfed it down. A minute later. Half a football-sized Spirit Fruit was swallowed by Whitey. It sat on the ground in satisfaction, showing a look of enjoyment. At the same time, a faint light appeared on the surface of Whitey¡¯s body again. Lin Bei knew very well that this was a sign that he was about to break through. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey suddenly let out a meow, and the faint light began to become stronger. Whitey¡¯s body began to expand visibly. Although it was not much, Lin Bei could clearly sense it. Half a minute later, the faint light disappeared, and a system notification sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. [You fed Whitey a Spirit Fruit. It¡¯s very happy. Experience +100] Lin Bei smiled and opened Whitey¡¯s interface. [Contracted Beast: Whitey Race: Cat Current Experience: 1,200 Realm: Level 4 Wild Beast Bloodline: Inferior Eighth Grade Demon Power: 30 Physique: 23 (Human Basic Value: 10) Mentality: 15 (Human Basic Value: 10) Skill: Blinding Contract Nurturing: (Too low level, unable to nurture)] As expected! He successfully increased Whitey¡¯s realm again. Whitey had already reached Level 4! Lin Bei looked at the remaining 1,200 experience points in the system interface. After pondering for a moment, he chose the plus sign behind the realm. [Upgraded Realm. Do you want to spend 1,200 experience points to upgrade Whitey to a Level 5 Wild Beast?] 1200 points, not the 1600 points that Lin Bei had calculated previously. ¡°Looks like the experience points needed to level up aren¡¯t fixed.¡± Lin Bei thought. He had exactly 1,200 points left, which was just enough to raise Whitey¡¯s realm to Level 5. This way, according to his expectations, he should be able to obtain another treasure chest. Thinking of this, Lin Bei no longer hesitated and replied to the system. ¡°Yes!¡± [Realm upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s Realm has successfully upgraded to Level 5 Beast!] [Ding! Detected that Whitey has reached Level 5. Host has received a reward: Bronze Treasure Chest.] [Ding! Detected that Whitey has reached Level 5. Host has received reward: Experience+400] The system¡¯s voice sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. At this moment, Lin Bei¡¯s face was filled with ecstasy. Bronze Treasure Chest! Plus 400 experience points! This was a huge profit! Chapter 20 - A Little Girl Crawled Out of the Bed! (Shy)_1 Chapter 20 A Little Girl Crawled Out of the Bed! (Shy)_1 Chapter 20: A Loli crawled out of the Bed! (Xiu) Lin Bei looked at the flashing ball of light in front of him and reached out to take it off. [Ding! Congratulations to the host for opening the Bronze Treasure Chest. You have obtained the following items: 5kg of Mid wild beast-level cat food, 20 low-grade Spirit Stones, and one Marrow Cleansing Pill!] As the system notification sounded in his mind, a bag identical to the first time he opened the Black Iron Treasure Chest appeared in Lin Bei¡¯s hand. When he opened the bag, the things that the system had mentioned were inside! Looking at the crystal clear low-grade Spirit Stones, Lin Bei was in a good mood. He took them out and placed them in his storage space. There were 20 here, in addition to the 10 he had opened in the Black Iron Treasure Chest. In other words, he now had a total of 30 low-grade Spirit Stones. This was definitely a huge fortune! Whether it was for his own cultivation or for trading in the market, Lin Bei would gain a lot! As for the beast-level cat food, Lin Bei also understood what was going on. This thing was equivalent to an experience book for Whitey. Every time he fed it, it would not take long for it to successfully increase its realm. However, it would take some time to digest this thing. Therefore, Lin Bei could not feed all the cat food to Whitey in one go. As for the last thing¡ Marrow Cleansing Pill! This thing was usually used by martial artists. Some martial artists with poor talent could improve their talent by eating it and removing some impurities in their bloodline. This way, their cultivation would be smoother. ¡°Coincidentally, I¡¯m going to start cultivating soon. This thing is quite useful.¡± Lin Bei smiled and put the pill with patterns on its surface into his storage space. After doing all this, Lin Bei looked at Whitey. After leveling up to a Level 5 wild beast, it seemed to have increased by another size. Although it was not obvious like before. However, Lin Bei could still tell at a glance. He did not know whether to laugh or cry because Whitey liked to stand on his shoulder. If it continued to break through like this, it was very likely that one day in the future, Lin Bei would not be able to carry Whitey. ¡°Looks like I have to move up my cultivation schedule.¡± After saying that, Lin Bei picked Whitey up. ¡°While I can still carry you, I¡¯ll quickly bring you to take a shower. Otherwise, I won¡¯t be able to carry you in the future.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey raised his voice and called out to Lin Bei. He seemed to be protesting against Lin Bei¡¯s words. Regarding this, he only stretched out his hand to pat Whitey¡¯s head. Half an hour later. A man and a cat walked out of the bathroom. As usual, Lin Bei dried Whitey¡¯s hair before drying his own. After doing this, Lin Bei lay down on the bed, his body forming a starfish. It was very dangerous in the Sea Moon Forest today. He actually encountered a Level 5 Black Gorilla. Fortunately, the Gorilla was only strong, and its speed was far inferior to Whitey. Otherwise, it was really hard to say if they could walk out of that forest in one piece today. However, things were different now. Whitey¡¯s realm had also increased to Level 5. Even if he met the Level 5 Gorilla again, Lin Bei believed that Whitey could still defeat it head-on. At this moment, Lin Bei thought of the Spirit Fruit in the Black Gorilla¡¯s hand. It had to be said that the harvest this time was indeed very rich. The spiritual energy in the Sea Moon Forest was indeed very abundant. He had just found a cattail grass there yesterday, and today, he had picked up a Spirit Fruit from the Gorilla. ¡°Looks like I have to find an opportunity to explore the Sea Moon Forest again.¡± ¡°Even if I don¡¯t get spiritual herbs or Spirit Fruits, I can at least train Whitey in actual combat.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. However, at this moment, Whitey¡¯s cry suddenly sounded in its ears. ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Hearing this voice, Lin Bei sat up from the bed and saw Whitey sitting on the edge of the bed with its four legs together. Its two round eyes were looking at him expectantly. Sensing Whitey¡¯s gaze, Lin Bei helplessly shook his head. ¡°You¡¯re not thinking of sleeping with me, are you?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey cried out again. Before Lin Bei could reply, it had already jumped onto the bed. Then, it found a comfortable position and coiled its tail, curling its body into a ball. From the looks of it, he was not planning to leave. Lin Bei saw that half of his single bed had been occupied. For a moment, he could not bear to chase Whitey down. After all¡ He also knew that even if he chased Whitey away, it would still appear on his bed the next morning. Anyway, he had already bathed it. The possibility of dirtying the bed was not high. It was just that he had to be careful when he slept. It was fine as long as he did not turn over and lie on Whitey when he fell asleep at night. Lying back on the bed, Lin Bei covered himself with the blanket. At this moment, Whitey¡¯s head popped out from under the blanket. She looked like a newborn baby. ¡°Let me tell you a story.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Do you understand me?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Hahaha, alright, then I¡¯ll tell you a story. There was a mountain in the past. There was a temple in the mountain. There was an old cat and a kitten in the temple¡¡± [You told Whitey a boring story. It felt a little happy. Experience +5] Good God! This was really unexpected. Lin Bei didn¡¯t expect to gain experience by telling stories to cats. However, this experience was indeed a little shabby. ¡°I guess it¡¯s because my story is so boring.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll tell you something interesting tomorrow.¡± Lin Bei smiled and said to Whitey. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded. Just like that, the man and cat slowly fell asleep. In the dream, Lin Bei felt like he was wrapped in cotton candy. It was fragrant, soft, and a little warm. This comfort made Lin Bei love it. After eight hours, Lin Bei felt that something was wrong. Why did his dream feel so clear? This fragrant and soft feeling made Lin Bei feel that it didn¡¯t feel like cotton candy. Instead, it seemed like¡ In a daze, Lin Bei opened his sleepy eyes. At this moment, a blurry face appeared in his eyes. She had a tender face, a small nose, a small mouth, and long white hair. She looked like a little girl who was only 13 or 14 years old. Wait! Who was this?! Why are you in my bed! Chapter 21 - Spirit Beast Bloodline! Chapter 21 Spirit Beast Bloodline! Lin Bei was shocked by the little girl who suddenly appeared under his blanket. He suddenly sat up on the bed and stared at the little girl in front of him. ¡°Who are you?!¡± Lin Bei asked. As he asked, he subconsciously lifted the blanket. However, a second later, he covered the blanket again. The scene in the blanket shocked Lin Bei again. Her white body made his blood boil. At this moment, the little girl opened her eyes and looked at Lin Bei in a daze. Then, she opened her small lips and spoke. ¡°Meow!¡± After hearing the meow, Lin Bei¡¯s brain quickly began to spin. After three seconds of silence, he finally came to an answer. The little girl in front of him was his contract beast, Whitey! As for why he turned into a Human, Lin Bei did not know. According to the knowledge he had learned, it was not rare for a contracted beast to take Human form. In other words, as long as it was a contracted beast, it could take Human form after reaching the realm of a Demonic Beast. However¡ The prerequisite was that one had to reach the realm of a Demonic Beast first. At the moment, Whitey was only a Level 5 wild beast. It was not even a dire beast. It could be said that it had nothing to do with a Demonic Beast. But why could Whitey transform now? Could it be that it had broken through to the Demonic Beast realm overnight?! Well, that was obviously unrealistic. However, just as Lin Bei was trying to find a reasonable explanation for Whitey¡¯s transformation, its body suddenly shrank at an extremely fast speed and finally returned to its normal appearance. ¡°Meow!¡± After transforming back into a cat, Whitey stretched out its head and rubbed against Lin Bei¡¯s arm. Then, it curled up its tail again and fell asleep after a while. Seeing this, Lin Bei opened Whitey¡¯s system interface. [Contracted Beast: Whitey Race: Cat Current Experience: 870 Realm: Level 5 Wild Beast Bloodline: Superior Eighth Grade Demon Power: 30 Physique: 37 (Human Basic Value: 10) Vitality: 28 (Human Basic Value: 10) Skill: Blinding Special Bloodline: Spirit Beast Bloodline Bloodline Skill: Transformation (False), Berserk Contract Nurturing: (Too low level, unable to nurture)] When Lin Bei looked at Whitey¡¯s system interface, he was stunned for two seconds. There were so many sudden changes on the system interface! First of all, its bloodline level had inexplicably increased from the Inferior Eighth grade to Superior Eighth grade! Then, under the Skill column, there was an additional column of information called Special Bloodline! Furthermore, there was a row of Bloodline Skills below the Special Bloodline! What was the meaning of this? Could it be that Whitey had a Special Bloodline after sleeping for a night?! Moreover, one had to have at least Superior Fifth grade bloodline to have the ability to use a bloodline skill. Why did Whitey¡¯s activate at Eighth grade? After thinking about it for a long time, Lin Bei finally thought of a possibility. It was the Spirit Fruit he fed Whitey yesterday. Other than the Spirit Fruit, there was no other possibility. Although Lin Bei could feel that it was a low-grade Spirit Fruit, but other than the fruit, there was nothing else he did special. Therefore, he suspected that the fruit has the ability to awaken special bloodlines! Thinking of this, Lin Bei suddenly got very excited. This fruit with the ability to awaken special bloodlines was simply a priceless treasure. So priceless, it did not even have a value to benchmark from! The value of this fruit was no longer something that could be measured with money. Under normal circumstances, most Demon Tamers would choose to use the fruit on themselves. Even if he did not need this fruit, he would barter instead of buying it with money. The reason was simple. Money could be earned again. However, once such a fruit was gone, it would be extremely difficult to encounter it a second time in this life. ¡°I really didn¡¯t expect to pick up such a thing.¡± Lin Bei was also happy. Then, he looked at Whitey¡¯s interface again. In the end, his gaze stopped on the two bloodline skills. The first ability was called Transformation. Although the name of the skill had the word ¡®fake¡¯ behind it, the actual effect was not much different. Now, it seemed that Whitey could only transform into a Human in appearance. Even when it spoke, it could only meow. In this case, he felt that this skill was a little useless. The remaining skill was different. Berserk. Even without looking at the skill introduction, Lin Bei knew what the effect of this skill was. After activating Berserk, the contracted beast would enter Berserk mode. Its attack power, speed, and reaction speed had all increased greatly. After going berserk, it would enter a weakened state. Attack, defense, and speed decreased slightly. It was exactly as Lin Bei had expected. After looking at the skill, Lin Bei looked at Whitey, who was sleeping soundly on the bed, and revealed a satisfied smile. ¡°Not bad. From the looks of it, Whitey¡¯s growth rate is increasing very fast.¡± ¡°Looks like I can¡¯t drag it back anymore.¡± Lin Bei muttered softly. In this situation, Whitey¡¯s combat strength was increasing very quickly, but he was not even a Martial Apprentice. In the upcoming high-intensity battles, he would undoubtedly become a huge weakness. Therefore, Lin Bei decided not to put aside his cultivation anymore. He would start from today. After breakfast, Lin Bei took out the Marrow Cleansing Pill from the treasure chest last night and two low-grade Spirit Stones. Looking at the Marrow Cleansing Pill in his hand, which was about half the size of a table tennis ball, Lin Bei swallowed it without hesitation. After swallowing it, Lin Bei quickly placed the two low-grade Spirit Stones on his left and right hands. According to the theoretical knowledge he had learned in his textbooks, he began to try to open all the pores in his body and let the spiritual energy seep into his body through his skin. Time passed slowly. Three minutes later, Lin Bei suddenly felt a sharp pain all over his body. It was as if ten thousand silver needles were stabbing him. The intense pain made small beads of sweat appear on his forehead. Even his expression began to twist. However, Lin Bei did not make a sound. He knew very well that this was the effect of the Marrow Cleansing Pill, which was expelling all the impurities from his blood. This cleansing process might be slightly painful. However, it would make his subsequent cultivation go much smoother! Chapter 22 - Resonance! Level 9 Martial Apprentice! Chapter 22 Resonance! Level 9 Martial Apprentice! Chapter 22: Resonance! Level Nine Martial Apprentice! Time was passing bit by bit. Lin Bei had never experienced how long a second was. The intense pain made it feel like time slowed down. Even though he knew that his life would not be in any danger, he could not help but want to give up. However, Lin Bei extinguished this thought the moment it appeared. Give up?! He had already persisted for so long. If he gave up, wouldn¡¯t his previous efforts be in vain?! With this thought in mind, Lin Bei persisted for another ten minutes. Fortunately, after ten minutes, the pain began to gradually disappear. Instead, a warm current rose from his lower abdomen and flowed throughout his body, as if it was healing his body. ¡°Phew!¡± After another five minutes, Lin Bei heaved a sigh of relief. His entire body felt much more relaxed. However, an unpleasant smell wafted into his nose. This made Lin Bei frown. He sniffed himself. Sure enough, the smell had came from him. He looked at his arm. There was a layer of filth visible to the naked eye on it. This was the impurity expelled from his body by the Marrow Cleansing Pill. If he did not expel these things from his body, Lin Bei¡¯s cultivation speed would definitely be greatly affected. He stood up and planned to take off his clothes and take a good shower in the bathroom. At the very least, he had to get rid of all the dirt on his body. However, at this moment, Lin Bei realized that Whitey had been guarding him for some time. It seemed like it had been here for a while. If nothing went wrong, it must have sensed that Lin Bei was in danger, so it hurriedly ran to his side to protect him. Thinking of this, Lin Bei¡¯s heart warmed. Just as he was about to carry Whitey to the shower together, he suddenly remembered the scene this morning. Forget it, forget it. ¡®I¡¯d better wash by myself.¡¯ After all, Whitey could already transform. Who knew when it would transform into that little girl? What if Whitey accidentally transformed during the shower? That scene was unimaginable. After taking a shower and washing off the dirt on his body, Lin Bei wrapped a towel around himself and walked out of the bathroom. The refreshing feeling made him feel good. However, at this moment, a figure suddenly jumped up from the sofa and pounced on Lin Bei. Feeling the fragrance and softness in his arms, looking at the white and pink cat ears on the other party¡¯s head and feeling the softness in his chest, Lin Bei immediately recognized that this was the transformed Whitey! What was even more embarrassing was that he was only wrapped in a towel. Whitey, who had turned into a girl, was hanging on Lin Bei¡¯s body like a sloth. ¡°Whitey, stop fooling around. Come down first.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± However, just as Lin Bei was trying to dissuade Whitey from leaving his body¡ The system notification sounded inexplicably. [Ding! Detected that the host has entered the cultivation stage. The first resonance with the contract beast is about to begin!] Resonance?! ¡®What does that mean?¡¯ Before Lin Bei could react, the surface of Whitey¡¯s body suddenly emitted a weak light. This light gradually rose from the surface of its body and turned into a ball of light floating in the air. In the next second, the ball of light entered Lin Bei¡¯s body like a small snake. An inexplicable sense of power rose from Lin Bei¡¯s body. He instantly felt that his body was filled with strength. [Ding! The first resonance has ended. Congratulations to the host for raising your realm to Level 9 Martial Apprentice. Your contract beast realm has increased to Level 7 Wild Beast!] [Ding! Detected that Whitey¡¯s level has increased to Level 6. Reward experience +400] [Ding! Detected that Whitey¡¯s level has increased to Level 7. Reward experience +400] As soon as the system¡¯s voice fell, Lin Bei¡¯s brain could not react for a moment. What was going on?! He had clearly just taken the Marrow Cleansing Pill to remove the impurities in his body and relied on the low-grade Spirit Stone to enhance his body with a little spiritual energy. Now, he had actually directly advanced to a Level 9 Martial Apprentice! He was only one step away from becoming a Martial Master! This was too f*cking ridiculous! Not only that, but even Whitey¡¯s realm also soared from a Level 5 wild beast to a Level 7 wild beast in one go like a roller coaster! This speed was really too ridiculous. Moreover, what did the ¡®Resonance¡¯ mentioned by the system mean? What was the condition to activate this resonance? The confused Lin Bei had no choice but to ask the system again. ¡°System, what did the resonance just now mean?¡± ¡°How do I activate the resonance? What are the conditions and rewards?¡± A few questions were thrown out. After about two seconds, the system gave Lin Bei¡¯s answer. [Responding to the host, resonance refers to the resonance reaction between the spirit energy in the host and the contract beast. After resonance, the host and the contract beast will obtain a huge increase.] [The condition for resonance is that after the host starts cultivating, the contract beast can resonate every time it breaks through a major realm.] After hearing this explanation, Lin Bei nodded thoughtfully. It seemed that it was similar to what he had imagined. However, he did not expect that he could actually resonate with each major realm. In other words, after Whitey broke through to the wild beast realm, wouldn¡¯t it be able to resonate again? Thinking of this, Lin Bei immediately became excited. ¡°She¡¯s only at the Wild Beast Realm, but she¡¯s already able to raise my realm from a Level 1 Martial Apprentice to a Level 9 Martial Apprentice. If Whitey really breaks through to the Ferocious Beast Realm, wouldn¡¯t I have a chance to break through to the Great Martial Master Realm?¡± Lin Bei was overjoyed. At the same time, he had a deeper understanding of the system. ¡°As expected of the strongest demon taming system. As expected, the focus is still on nurturing contract beasts.¡± ¡°As for my own realm, I can completely increase it through resonance.¡± He muttered softly. However, Lin Bei knew very well that he could not just rely on resonance. The number of resonances was very limited, so he could not slack off when it was time to work hard on cultivation. At this moment, Whitey¡¯s body in front of Lin Bei¡¯s chest began to shrink again. Finally, it returned to its normal cat appearance. ¡°Looks like the duration of the transformation isn¡¯t long.¡± Lin Bei held Whitey in his arms and looked at the sun outside the window. Not bad. The weather was good today. A good day suitable for walking cats. With that, he put on his clothes and walked out of the dormitory with Whitey. Chapter 23 - Being Too Popular Is a Burden! Chapter 23 Being Too Popular Is a Burden! Chapter 23: Being Too Popular Is Also A Burden! When they walked out of the dormitory, the sunlight shone on Lin Bei¡¯s face. This warm feeling made him feel exceptionally comfortable. Whitey, who was on his shoulder, seemed to feel the same way. Its eyes narrowed into slits, looking especially satisfied. Moreover, Lin Bei was pleasantly surprised to find that Whitey was standing on his shoulder. Not only did he not feel any weight, but he also felt exceptionally relaxed. This change made Lin Bei smile again. ¡°This is the feeling of a martial artist.¡± He thought to himself. At the same time, he began to sense the changes in various parts of his body. First of all, the most obvious thing was that he felt that his body had become exceptionally light. He did not need to exert any strength when walking. Even if he jumped up lightly, he did not need to deliberately exert any strength. Secondly, in terms of perception, he could sense his surroundings more clearly. The movement of creatures, and the sound. He could even sense the humidity of the air more clearly than before. Finally, it was the changes in his body. Due to the Marrow Cleansing Pill, almost all the impurities in his body had been removed, which made Lin Bei¡¯s skin look even fairer. Of course, this fairness did not refer to the feminine fairness of complexion. It meant that it looked very clean and gave off a very refreshing feeling. Moreover, as his cultivation level increased, a faint aura began to appear around him. Although it was not obvious, those who were in the lower realm than him could still clearly sense it. While feeling the changes in his body, Lin Bei brought Whitey around the campus. Whitey seemed to have cultivated a habit of her own. She was clearly a cat, but she still had to walk around the campus twice a day. Otherwise, she would feel like she had nowhere to pour her energy. The combination of Lin Bei and Whitey was especially eye-catching in Sea City¡¯s number one martial arts school. The reason was very simple. It was because this man and cat were too good-looking. Originally, Lin Bei was the only one. Although his looks were top notched in the eyes of most girls, there were still many girls who could restrain themselves and not approach him. However¡ Ever since contracting Whitey, this man and cat walked around the campus like a harvester for girls. Sometimes, even boys couldn¡¯t help but stop and take a second look. Then, they secretly cursed. Damn it! How could the other men live with such handsomeness! For example, right now, Lin Bei and Whitey were walking on the gravel road on campus. In front of them, three girls were whispering to each other as if they were discussing something. Lin Bei did not even need to walk forward to know what would happen next. However, when he wanted to turn around and avoid them, it was already too late. A girl seemed to have noticed that Lin Bei was about to escape. She quickly rushed in front of him and pretended to be very familiar with him. ¡°Lin Bei!¡± He had no choice. At such a close distance, it was difficult for Lin Bei to ignore her. He could only turn around and look at the nervous girl in front of him. ¡°You know me?¡± ¡°Yes! I know. My friend told me. She¡¯s in the same class as you.¡± ¡°I see.¡± As she spoke, the other two roommates behind the girl had already surrounded her. ¡°Is this your contracted beast? It¡¯s so cute!¡± ¡°Can I touch it?¡± ¡°I want to touch it too!¡± Instantly, the three girls used the cat excuse to stick close to Lin Bei. Lin Bei could not help but take a step back. At this moment, another familiar voice came from not far away. ¡°Lin Bei!¡± Lin Bei turned around and looked in the direction of the voice. As expected, he happened to see Hai Xin striding towards him. Today, she was wearing a loose sports sweater and a pair of cool hot pants. She looked youthful and energetic. When the three girls saw Hai Xin walking towards Lin Bei, her aura scared them away. ¡°You¡¯re quite popular.¡± ¡°How is it? I didn¡¯t disturb you, did I?¡± Hai Xin teased. However, her tone was a little strange, as if she was a little jealous. Lin Bei waved his hand and said helplessly. ¡°I have no choice.¡± ¡°Being too popular can be a burden.¡± Hai Xin rolled her eyes. ¡°Shouldn¡¯t you be undergoing special training? Why do you still have time to run around the school?¡± Lin Bei cleverly changed the topic. ¡°I¡¯m going to look for Teacher Du. He seems to be looking for me for something.¡± ¡°Teacher Du? You mean Du Bo?¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. He¡¯s the instructor leading our special training this year, so you might need a substitute teacher to help you teach for the next month.¡± ¡°I see¡¡± Lin Bei nodded thoughtfully. Hai Xin looked down at the time and turned to Lin Bei. ¡°Alright, I¡¯m running out of time. I¡¯ll go get a free meal from you tonight.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t forget.¡± Before Lin Bei could respond, Hai Xin disappeared from his sight. After Hai Xin left, Lin Bei continued to stroll around the campus with Whitey. At this time, the school was still very lively. Some students were in class, and some were strolling around, making the school seem a little crowded. Lin Bei didn¡¯t want to go to a place with too many people, so he brought Whitey to a forest behind the school. This was usually a hot spot for couples to meet up. However, that only applies at night. There were not many people during the day. Only when night fell would this place become lively. This was a good place to come in the day. He brought Whitey to a bench and sat down. Whitey jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and onto his lap. Then, it curled up and lay down. Lin Bei stroked Whitey¡¯s head as he planned his next move. Currently, Whitey¡¯s realm had already reached Level 7. Even he himself was already a Level 9 Martial Apprentice. With his current configuration, it shouldn¡¯t be too dangerous to go to the periphery of the Sea Moon Forest. Moreover, the patrol team should have almost suppressed the bestial tide in the Sea Moon Forest. There shouldn¡¯t be a safer time to go over. Chapter 24 - The Shocked Qin Yue! Chapter 24 The Shocked Qin Yue! After taking Whitey around the campus for a while, Lin Bei returned to his dormitory. There were still about ten hours before nightfall, so it was suitable to head to the Sea Moon Forest. As he thought about it, Lin Bei started to pack up. After a while, he changed his clothes and walked out of the dormitory with Whitey. When they arrived at the school gate, Lin Bei hailed a taxi. He opened the car door and got in with Whitey. ¡°Driver, to Sea Moon Forest.¡± ¡°Alright, little brother, fasten your seatbelt. Let¡¯s¡ wait?! Little brother, where do you say you¡¯re going?!¡± The lean middle-aged man adjusted his glasses and turned around with a shocked expression. ¡°Sea Moon Forest.¡± ¡°But¡ didn¡¯t a small bestial tide just break out there yesterday? Isn¡¯t it too¡¡± Before the driver could finish, Lin Bei took out two extra cards from his wallet and slapped them on the seat. ¡°It¡¯s alright, driver. I¡¯m a student of a martial arts academy. No worries there.¡± Lin Bei smiled and hinted with his eyes. The driver glanced at Lin Bei and then at the two new Great Xia coins beside him. After hesitating for a second, he turned around. ¡°Ahem, it just so happens that I¡¯m a little tired from running around in my sports car for the past two days. It¡¯s good to take a walk in the Sea Moon Forest.¡± Lin Bei smiled knowingly. Along the way, the driver kept observing Lin Bei, who was sitting in the back seat, and Whitey, who was beside him, through the rearview mirror. His eyes were filled with curiosity. Even though he had been trying his best to control himself, the driver finally couldn¡¯t hold it in anymore and asked Lin Bei. ¡°Little brother, are you a Demon Tamer?¡± Lin Bei nodded at the driver¡¯s sudden question, but the driver didn¡¯t seem to have any intention of ending the topic. ¡°Then is the cat beside you your pet or your contract beast?¡± Hearing this question, Lin Bei could clearly feel Whitey, who was beside him, humph coldly. It was as if she was saying that the driver didn¡¯t know what was good for him. Lin Bei sat at the side, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Although Whitey was now a Level 7 wild beast, its appearance was no different from an ordinary domestic cat. Other than the fact that it was slightly larger than the other cats, there did not seem to be any difference. Time passed quickly. Half an hour later, the taxi stopped at the entrance of the Sea Moon Forest. Unlike yesterday, this place seemed to have been cordoned off. There were many martial artists guarding the entrance. ¡°Little brother, we¡¯ve arrived.¡± ¡°Whether you can enter or not depends on you!¡± After paying the fare, Lin Bei pushed open the car door and got out. Soon, he found a familiar figure among the martial artists. Qin Yue was one of the patrol members who led the team that day. Lin Bei smiled when he saw her. He was still thinking about how to enter the Sea Moon Forest, but when he saw her, he instantly had a solution. He brought Whitey forward and arrived at the entrance of the Sea Moon Forest. The martial artists frowned the moment they saw Lin Bei. They immediately picked up their weapons and walked towards him. ¡°No entry past this point.¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t we just report that a bestial tide appeared in the Sea Moon Forest yesterday? How dare you come over at this time? Are you tired of living?¡± The man walking towards him spoke rudely and his tone was very tough. This was also because he saw that Lin Bei was a student, so he did not show him any mercy. Because of this, Lin Bei ignored the man in front of him and continued walking forward. Seeing that he was being ignored, the man was even more riled up. Although he was just an errand boy, he was still a Level 5 Martial Apprentice. Lin Bei looked like he was only 17 or 18 years old. He had probably not even started cultivating martial arts. At this thought, the man punched the back of Lin Bei¡¯s head. Sensing the attack behind him, Lin Bei tilted his body slightly and dodged the attack. Then, he turned around and punched the man in the stomach. An intense pain came, causing the man¡¯s body to curl up into the shape of a prawn. The expression on his face was also extremely painful. The other guards beside the man frowned and tightened their grip on their weapons, surrounding Lin Bei. Lin Bei looked around. These martial artists were obviously at a higher realm than the man just now. The weakest one was at least a Martial Master. Once they started fighting, it would indeed be difficult for him to gain an advantage. Whitey, who was standing on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder, jumped down and stood in front of him. It looked like it was ready to fight at any time. However, at this moment, a female voice came from behind them. ¡°Wait a minute.¡± Qin Yue slowly walked through the crowd. The moment he saw Qin Yue, the man on the ground hurriedly said as if he had seen his savior. ¡°Captain Qin! Teach this arrogant fellow a lesson!¡± ¡°How dare he attack the guards!¡± However, Qin Yue ignored him and came to Lin Bei. In the next second, her expression changed, and a trace of shock flashed across her beautiful eyes. A Level 9 Martial Apprentice! If she remembered correctly, she did not sense any martial artist aura from Lin Bei yesterday. But today, she discovered that Lin Bei¡¯s realm had already reached Level 9 Martial Apprentice! What was going on?! Could she have seen wrongly yesterday? Although she was shocked, Qin Yue did not show it. ¡°What are you doing here? Have you forgotten about yesterday¡¯s bestial tide?¡± Seeing Qin Yue, Lin Bei scratched his head and slowly explained. ¡°My contract beast has just broken through. I want to bring it to the Sea Moon Forest to find a low-level wild beast to practice with.¡± ¡°Besides, haven¡¯t you already wiped out the periphery? I believe you.¡± Hearing this, Qin Yue did not know what to say. Pei Feng had specially arranged for her to take care of Lin Bei, who was Du Bo¡¯s favorite student. But in this situation¡ Qin Yue shook her head helplessly and took out a bottle from her pocket. ¡°This is a flare. If you encounter any danger inside, pull that rope. That way, we will know your location immediately.¡± After saying this, Qin Yue turned around and left. She did not want to stay here for another second. The man looked at Lin Bei in shock and then at Qin Yue. He could only hold back his bitterness. In this situation, even a fool could tell that his punch had been for nothing. Chapter 25 - Level 1 Direbeast! Chapter 25 Level 1 Direbeast! Blacktooth Wolf! Seeing Qin Yue turn around and leave, Lin Bei smiled and shouted. ¡°Thank you, Sister Qin Yue.¡± The surrounding guards also dispersed. Anyone with a discerning eye could tell that Lin Bei definitely has connections to their captain. If they continued to make things difficult for Lin Bei, they would definitely be making things difficult for their captain. No one was a fool, so a path quickly appeared in front of Lin Bei. Whitey jumped back onto Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. The man and cat walked deeper into the Sea Moon Forest. Three minutes later, Lin Bei arrived at the Sea Moon Forest again. He could feel that there was a faint smell of blood in the air. If nothing went wrong, the martial artists of Sea City must have carried out a large-scale cleanup of this place. Moreover, this extermination should have killed many wild beasts, even dire beasts. As for the exact number, Lin Bei did not know. He was not interested in finding that out either. However, because of this, Lin Bei had to walk deeper into the forest to find a beast that could fight Whitey. Whitey had broken through to become a Level 7 wild beast. Even he had reached the Level 9 Martial Apprentice Realm. Coupled with the signal flare that Qin Yue had given him just now, this time, he was more confident and felt more at ease on the road. Soon, a roar attracted Lin Bei¡¯s attention. Whitey immediately got into combat mode and scanned its surroundings with its glass-like eyes. ¡°ROAR!¡± A low roar sounded. A leopard crawled out of the grass and pounced on Lin Bei and Whitey. Seeing this, Lin Bei did not panic. He stepped to the side and dodged the attack. Seeing that his first attack had failed, the leopard wanted to launch a second attack. However, Whitey had already appeared before it. ¡°Meow!¡± A powerful force accompanied by a cat cry sounded. The leopard¡¯s body crashed into a tree at the side like a cannonball. Without even a chance to struggle, he lost his life. One-hit kill. It was clean and neat without any sloppiness. Lin Bei stood at the side and clapped with a smile. Whitey jumped back to Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. [You praised Whitey. It feels very happy. Experience +10] The system notification sounded, and Lin Bei smiled even more happily. Although it was only a Level 3 wild beast, it was completely dominated by Whitey in terms of realm. However, he had to admit that Whitey¡¯s combat experience was indeed much richer than before. Although she was still lacking in terms of timing, strength, and attack points. However, compared to before, there was an obvious improvement. ¡°Looks like I can only improve these things through actual combat.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. For something like combat experience, its importance in actual combat was almost second only to realm. Be it realm or bloodline level, the only thing that could increase was the strength and speed of the contract beast. The higher the realm, the higher these values would be. Combat experience will allow him to maximize these qualities. From his own strength to the usage of his skills, once he mastered all these things, his combat strength would also increase greatly. If he only focused on improving his realm, he might be able to experience the pleasure of crushing opponents whose realms were far lower than his. However¡ Once the opponent¡¯s level was the same or close to his, this advantage would be greatly reduced. There might even be a situation where it will be difficult to resist. On the contrary, if one had sufficient combat experience, they could still fight against opponents with higher realms. This shows the importance of combat experience. While thinking, Lin Bei had already brought Whitey to the depths of the Sea Moon Forest. The smell of blood here was stronger than the outside. There were even many bloodstains on the ground that had yet to completely dry. It was not difficult to tell that a huge battle had just happened here not long ago. ¡°Looks like the patrol team is quite nimble.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. The man and cat continued to walk deeper into the forest. However, at this moment, a sudden aura alerted Lin Bei. Sensing something amiss, Lin Bei immediately hid behind a big tree with Whitey. According to the blocks, the Sea Moon Forest was divided into three areas. The outer area was filled with low-level wild beasts, and it was rare for them to form groups. The middle district was filled with high-level wild beasts, as well as some low-level wild beasts that would appear in groups. Occasionally, dire beasts would appear. In the deepest part of the Sea Moon Forest was the deep area where some high-level dire beasts would appear. Sometimes, there would even be traces of Demonic Beasts. If the patrol team cleaned up, they would drive the wild beasts back to their own blocks. As for the rash wild beasts, the patrol team would kill them without hesitation. It had only been a few hours since the last patrol team¡¯s clean-up operation. Therefore, it was basically impossible for wild beasts to cross the block. However, from the aura just now, Lin Bei could clearly sense that the other party¡¯s realm was very terrifying. This meant that he had already passed through the outer layer and arrived at the middle layer of the Sea Moon Forest. And the aura he sensed just now was very likely an existence that had already broken through the realm of a dire beast! ¡°It¡¯s better not to provoke an existence of this level now.¡± Lin Bei muttered softly. With that, he wanted to leave this troublesome place with Whitey. However, at this moment, a soaring wolf howl suddenly resounded throughout the entire Sea Moon Forest. The terrifying sound wave shook the surrounding trees. Even the leaves kept making rustling sounds. Whitey, who was on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder, trembled because of the wolf¡¯s howl. Such a terrifying howl made Lin Bei frown. Through the gap between the two giant trees, Lin Bei could clearly see a huge creature almost the size of a car baring its teeth at another beast. No, not one wild beast, but two! Because under the beast was a wolf cub the size of a baby. It looked like it had just been born not long ago. In front of the wolf cub was a silver-white beast with eyes that revealed a killing intent that was completely incompatible with its elegant fur. Silver Moon Wolf! This was a kind of Demonic Beast with very strong bloodline talent! However, when Lin Bei saw this Silver Moon Wolf, he was very surprised. This was because Silver Moon Wolves only lived in the Tianbei Forest, which was thousands of kilometers away from here. The dimensions there were very high, and the climate was very cold, making it more suitable for Silver Moon Wolves to live. Then why was this Silver Moon Wolf here? Lin Bei did not understand, but at this moment, the incomparably huge existence suddenly attacked the Silver Moon Wolf. This time, Lin Bei finally saw it clearly. That incomparably huge creature was a dire beast! Chapter 26 - Thank You, Human! Chapter 26: Thank You, Human! Level 1 dire beast, Blacktooth Wolf! This is a native species of the Sea Moon Forest, named for its black exposed teeth. The Blacktooth Wolves were extremely violent and is highly territorial. It would definitely not allow any Demonic Beasts to step into its territory. Once other creatures entered, even existences with higher cultivation realms would be attacked without hesitation. After breaking through to Level 1 dire beast, the size of the Blacktooth Wolf was comparable to a small Human car. Compared to this Blacktooth Wolf, the Silver Moon Wolf standing opposite it was four to five times smaller. Before breaking through to the Demonic Beast realm, size was the most direct manifestation of combat strength. Therefore, the moment the Blacktooth Wolf attacked the Silver Moon Wolf, the Silver Moon Wolf was already at a disadvantage. The howling wolf¡¯s claws hit the Silver Moon Wolf¡¯s body, and several bloody marks appeared on its abdomen. Even so, the Silver Moon Wolf had no intention of backing down. Lin Bei already knew the reason. It was because of the wolf cub under it. Lin Bei hid in the dark and frowned. Although this Silver Moon Wolf was only a Level 9 wild beast, its powerful bloodline talent should have given it some advantage in the playing field. The reason why the Silver Moon Wolf was retreating was very likely because it had just given birth and its aura had not completely stabilized. That was why it was having such a hard time facing the Blacktooth Wolf! Even so, the Silver Moon Wolf could have given up on its cub and escaped the Blacktooth Wolf¡¯s pursuit alone. However, it did not choose to do so. This¡ was the brilliance of motherhood. Seeing this, Lin Bei hesitated for a second before turning to look at Whitey on his shoulder. Coincidentally, Whitey also looked at him. The meaning behind her gaze was obvious. In the next second, Whitey jumped up from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and pounced at the head of the Blacktooth Wolf. The cat¡¯s paw glowed slightly, and Whitey¡¯s target was the Blacktooth Wolf¡¯s eyes. Skill: Blind! ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey was so fast that even the Blacktooth Wolf could not react in time. After the hit, intense pain came from the Blacktooth Wolf¡¯s face. This made it howl again. ¡°Wu!¡± At the same time, the Silver Moon Wolf¡¯s eyes were filled with shock as it looked in Lin Bei¡¯s direction. It did not understand why this Human would save it. However, this was not the time to think about this. The Silver Moon Wolf seized the opportunity while the Blacktooth Wolf was out of sight. The surface of its body began to emit a blue light. Silver Moon Impact! This was the bloodline talent skill of the Silver Moon Wolf. Looking at the Silver Moon Wolf that was emitting a blue light, Lin Bei was envious. This was their bloodline talent. He could not envy them. ¡°Ow!¡± The Silver Moon Wolf¡¯s melodious wolf howl sounded. The next moment, the blue light on the surface of its body condensed into a substantial ball of light that flew towards the Blacktooth Wolf. ¡°Wu!¡± It hit the wolf¡¯s head, and a terrifying force instantly flipped its huge body to the ground. The Silver Moon Wolf took advantage of the situation and pounced on the Blacktooth Wolf, crazily biting its body. Crackle! ¡°Wu!¡± The Silver Moon Wolf tore off its fur and flesh. The Blacktooth Wolf let out another scream, but at the same time, it regained its vision. ¡°Roar! Roar!!¡± After a furious roar, it used all its strength to knock the Silver Moon Wolf to the ground again. The strength of a Level 1 dire beast was unleashed by the Blacktooth Wolf without holding back at all. Seeing this, Whitey quickly distanced itself from the Blacktooth Wolf. Under such circumstances, the Blacktooth Wolf was completely enraged. Both its attack power and desire to attack had reached the limit. It was almost impossible to kill it under such circumstances. The Silver Moon Wolf hurriedly turned over and stood up from the ground again. Its pair of beast eyes stared straight ahead. Suddenly, as if it had made a decision, it turned to look at the Human. This was the first time it could not be hostile to a Human. At the same time, this was the first time it trusted a Human so much. Lin Bei suddenly felt his body tremble, and an ethereal voice echoed in his mind. ¡°Human¡ take¡ my¡ child.¡± ¡°My¡ child¡ leave¡¡± The intermittent words formed a sentence. Human, take my child and leave. Lin Bei instantly reacted and looked at the Silver Moon Wolf in shock. He knew this kind of sound transmission method, but the prerequisite was that he had to at least reach the Demonic Beast realm before he could use it. No matter how he looked at it, the Silver Moon Wolf in front of him looked like a Level 9 wild beast. Why did it have this ability? More importantly, what did it mean? Why did it let Lin Bei take its child? Could it be that it wanted to perish together with the Blacktooth Wolf?! Thinking of this possibility, Lin Bei was even more shocked. However, he knew very well that it was impossible to defeat this berserk Blacktooth Wolf in this situation. Therefore, what the Silver Moon Wolf said to him might very well be its last words. Thinking of this, Lin Bei no longer hesitated. He quickly erupted with all his strength and headed straight for the Silver Moon Wolf pup. On the other side, when the Blacktooth Wolf saw that Lin Bei wanted to take away the silver moon wolf cub, it immediately erupted with unprecedented anger. ¡°Roar! Roar!!¡± Another wolf howl sounded. This time, even the ground shook violently. Lin Bei did not dare to hesitate. He picked up the sleeping Silver Moon Wolf pup under the tree. Whitey saw the situation clearly and jumped back onto Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. It wanted to help the Silver Moon Wolf. However, it was not stupid. Under such circumstances, staying here would only lead to death. If he could leave, he could still let the Silver Moon Wolf¡¯s child live. This was something that Whitey could understand. Seeing Lin Bei take its cub away, a few crystal tears fell from the Silver Moon Wolf¡¯s blue eyes. Thank you¡ Human. The moment he heard this voice, Lin Bei turned his head and looked in the direction of the Silver Moon Wolf. At this moment, it was completely entangled with the Blacktooth Wolf. Although it was at a disadvantage, its self-sacrificing fighting style was still enough to give the Blacktooth Wolf a hard time. Lin Bei looked from afar and finally chose to leave. Chapter 27 - Lin Beis Second Contract Signing Article! Chapter 27: Lin Bei¡¯s Second Contract Signing Article! ¡°Boom!¡± ¡°Wu!¡± ¡°Ow!¡± The ground kept shaking, and the wolf howls in the distance entered Lin Bei¡¯s ears, making him turn around. In fact, he knew very well that the Silver Moon Wolf was in a very bad state. Its aura was very unstable. Clearly, because it had just given birth, its realm needed time to heal. Under such circumstances, it had no chance of winning against a berserk Blacktooth Wolf. However, even if Lin Bei and Whitey stayed there, it would be meaningless. A Level 1 dire beast was still too powerful for them at the moment. It seemed to be not far from a Level 7 wild beast, but it could be seen from the size on both sides. The gap between them was absolutely insurmountable. ¡°Wu~¡± At this moment, the Silver Moon Wolf in Lin Bei¡¯s arms whimpered as if it was about to wake up. This made Lin Bei quicken his pace. Once the Silver Moon Wolf bub woke up, it would be difficult for Lin Bei to bring it out of here. On one hand, it was the problem of guarding the entrance of the Sea Moon Forest. On the other hand, if the Silver Moon Wolf cub insisted on going back to find its mother, Lin Bei would not be able to deal with it for the time being. Therefore, he had to leave this forest as soon as possible and return to his dormitory. As for the subsequent problems, he would naturally consider them later. He quickly shuttled through the forest. In just half an hour, he arrived at the exit of the Sea Moon Forest. However, looking at the large number of martial artists outside, he still frowned. In order to protect the ecosystem of the Sea Moon Forest, no cubs were allowed to leave the forest. If they were discovered, they would face a huge fine. Of course, Lin Bei did not care about the fine. After all, he had a total of 30 low-grade Spirit Stones in his storage space. If he exchanged them for money, it would be a huge sum! However, as a punishment, the cubs that were brought out had to be returned to the Sea Moon Forest. Lin Bei could not accept this. This Silver Moon Wolf cub was personally entrusted to him by its mother. Lin Bei was worried about handing it over to anyone. Looking at the martial artists patrolling the entrance of the forest, Lin Bei could not help but fall into deep thought. The other martial artists were fine, but Lin Bei should be able to go over after a little fooling around. However, Qin Yue was not easy to fool. A Level 7 Great Martial Master was not someone he could fight against now. His little tricks would be seen through very quickly. ¡°If there¡¯s a way to lure Qin Yue away, it¡¯ll be easy.¡± Suddenly, Lin Bei had an idea. He immediately looked at the signal flare that Qin Yue had given him before he entered the forest. If he remembered correctly, Qin Yue had told him that as long as he pulled this off, they would immediately know his location and would even send someone to save him. Moreover, in Lin Bei¡¯s opinion, as long as he pulled this off, there was a high chance that Qin Yue would personally bring people to the Sea Moon Forest to look for him. Thinking of this, Lin Bei smiled. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Sister Qin Yue.¡± As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Bei pulled the rope on the other end of the signal flare. Swish! ¡°Bang!¡± A loud sound came from the sky above the Sea Moon Forest. The moment Qin Yue saw this signal, she was shocked and hurriedly picked up the dagger beside her. ¡°Quick, the few of you, follow me!¡± ¡°Yes!¡± ¡°Yes!¡± The five martial artists with the highest realms were called away by Qin Yue. She personally led the team towards the signal flare. At this moment, Qin Yue knew very well that nothing can happen to Lin Bei. Otherwise, once Du Bo found Pei Feng, the first person to be taken out would definitely be her. As she thought about it, Qin Yue could not help but speed up. On the other side, Lin Bei, who was hiding at the entrance, could not help but smile when he saw Qin Yue hurriedly bring people into the depths of the Sea Moon Forest. Then, he quickly left the forest with Whitey and the Silver Moon Wolf cub in his arms. After successfully hailing a taxi, Lin Bei heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, the Silver Moon Wolf pup did not wake up along the way. Although it whimpered from time to time, it did not seem to wake up. An hour later, in the dormitory of Sea City¡¯s First Martial Arts Academy. Lin Bei opened the door that he was familiar with and carefully placed the Silver Moon Wolf pup in his arms in Whitey¡¯s nest. Only then did he completely relax and sit on the sofa. Whitey jumped down from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and curled up beside his hand. It had to be said that today was another day of torture. However, before Lin Bei could rest for a while, the system notification sounded in his mind. [Ding! Detected that host has successfully brought back the Silver Moon Wolf pup. Successfully completed the hidden mission ¡°Silver Moon Wolf King¡¯s Redemption¡±. Reward: One copy of beast signing contract!] Lin Bei was shocked by the sudden system notification. For a moment, his brain could not react. However, a second later, Lin Bei¡¯s brain successfully extracted some keywords. Successfully, these keywords formed sentences again. What? Hidden mission?! And what was with this reward?! A beast signing contract! Any Demon Tamer would know what this contract meant. Every Demon Tamer could sign a contract with a Demonic Beast and make it their contract beast. Under normal circumstances, a Demon Tamer would only have an accompanying contract when their ability was awakened, and Lin Bei¡¯s contract had been swallowed by Whitey. If he wanted to sign a second contract, he had to be at least a Martial Arts Grandmaster. Of course, there were also some genius Demon Tamers who would sign two contracts when they first awakened their abilities. This also meant that he could have two contracted beasts as soon as he became a Demon Tamer. However, the probability of this happening was extremely small. of So far, in the hundreds of years since the recovery of spiritual energy, the number Demon Tamers who had encountered such a situation could be counted on one hand. And now, the system actually told him that the reward for completing this mission was a contract! How could Lin Bei not be shocked! However, before Lin Bei could recover from his shock, a dazzling sheepskin scroll appeared in front of him. That was the contract that countless Demon Tamers dreamed of! Chapter 28 - Moony! Contract Signed! Chapter 28 Moony! Contract Signed! Lin Bei looked at the glowing sheepskin scroll in front of him, and the fatigue in his heart instantly disappeared. ¡°Gulp¡¡± He secretly swallowed a mouthful of saliva. His right hand, which was trembling with excitement, slowly touched the sheepskin scroll. It could not be said that Lin Bei was useless, or that he had never seen the world. It was really too tempting for Demon Tamers. With another contracted beast, the combat power of the Demon Tamer would definitely not be as simple as 1+1. With the cooperation of the two contract beasts and the combat strength of the Demon Tamer¡¯s main body, It could increase the combat power of a Demon Tamer by more than three times! After obtaining the contract, Lin Bei looked at the sleeping Silver Moon Wolf not far away. The Silver Moon Wolf pup should have just been born not long ago. At this moment, its understanding of races was not that clear. At the same time, this was also the best time to sign a contract and become a contract beast. However, the prerequisite for all of this was that Lin Bei had to obtain the recognition of the Silver Moon Wolf pup in front of him. Lin Bei stood up from the sofa. Whitey also stood up and followed behind him. Seeing Whitey, Lin Bei subconsciously hid the sheepskin scroll in his arms. Seeing Lin Bei¡¯s action, Whitey rolled its eyes like a Human. It was as if she was saying, ¡°I don¡¯t care.¡± Lin Bei did not know whether to laugh or cry at Whitey¡¯s gaze. It couldn¡¯t be helped: once bitten twice shy. If Whitey¡¯s second contract with Lin Bei was also swallowed up, he would probably have nowhere to cry. He came to the sleeping Silver Moon Wolf pup and bit his finger according to his memory. Then, he dripped a drop of his blood on the sheepskin scroll. In an instant, the sheepskin scroll emitted an even more dazzling light. At the same time, a pentagram array appeared in front of Lin Bei. Looking at this familiar scene, Lin Bei began to tremble with excitement. ¡°In my name, form a contract!¡± In an instant, a star-like purple energy enveloped Lin Bei¡¯s entire body, and the sleeping Silver Moon Wolf was also enveloped. ¡°Use my blood in exchange for your soul!¡± ¡°Use my bones to transform into your strength!¡± ¡°Contract, done!¡± Lin Bei used all of his strength to shout out the complete incantation. It was different from the first time he had formed a contract. This time, the consumption of soul force was more than twice that of the last time! Lin Bei¡¯s face was pale, and his lips were trembling. Even so, he still sat on the spot and tried his best to control his body from falling. ¡°Contract, done!¡± Lin Bei shouted at the top of his lungs again. The star power began to spin crazily around him, causing the curtains to shake. ¡°Give it to me!¡± Lin Bei gritted his teeth and shouted again. His voice was still a little hoarse, but his eyes were still extremely determined! ¡°Deal!!¡± As the last word fell, the star power stopped spinning this time. Instead, it condensed into a purple glowing ball that floated above Lin Bei and the Silver Moon Wolf. The moment he saw the ball of light, Lin Bei finally revealed a gratified smile. The next second, his vision turned black and he fainted. Some time passed. When Lin Bei opened his eyes again, it was already dark outside the window. It was clearly late at night. Suddenly, he felt his face moisten. Lin Bei struggled to open his eyes and saw that the Silver Moon Wolf had woken up and was licking his face. At the same time, the system¡¯s voice sounded in Lin Bei¡¯s mind again. [Ding! Detected that the host has successfully bound a second contract beast. Reward: 5kg of low-grade beast meat, 1kg of low-grade beast milk, 10 low-grade Spirit Stones.] [Ding! The second contract beast interface has been opened. Host, please check it as soon as possible!] Lin Bei struggled to sit up from the ground. The items rewarded by the system had been automatically placed in the storage space. Lin Bei turned around and began to search for Whitey¡¯s location. Soon, he found Whitey in the kitchen. It skillfully took out the canned food that Lin Bei had prepared for it and ate it happily. Obviously, it was not worried about Lin Bei at all. Lin Bei could not help but sweat. However, on second thought, contracted beasts and Demon Tamers were soul-bound, which meant that Whitey knew that Lin Bei¡¯s life would not be in danger. That was why she was so calm at this moment. However¡ It was just that this calmness might be a little too much. In contrast, the Silver Moon Wolf beside Lin Bei kept circling him. The newly born Silver Moon Wolf pup was about the size of a Human baby. Its snow-white fur looked very noble and elegant. Still¡ It was just that its size still did not look that oppressive. However, it was still a newborn cub after all. It was normal for it to look like a puppy. As he thought about it, Lin Bei pulled the Silver Moon Wolf into his arms. At the same time, the system¡¯s voice sounded in his mind again. [You picked up the Silver Moon Wolf. It feels very happy. Experience +20] Good God! Just as Lin Bei had expected, the second contracted beast would also increase his experience points! Looking at the Silver Moon Wolf lying in his arms with its four short legs flapping non-stop, Lin Bei revealed a kind smile. ¡°I¡¯ll give you a name.¡± ¡°How about¡ I name you¡ Moony!¡± pup Hearing this name, the Silver Moon Wolf suddenly turned around and smiled happily at Lin Bei. Its tail was wagging like a propeller. ¡°Wu~¡± Moony¡¯s milky voice reminded Lin Bei of Whitey¡¯s first cry. However, perhaps it had not made such a sound for a long time as it grew in size, advanced in realm, and gradually developed intelligence. ¡°Wu-¡± [You gave Moony a name. It¡¯s very happy. Experience +60] Chapter 29 - Fourth Grade Bloodline! Silver Moon Wolf! Chapter 29: Fourth Grade Bloodline! Silver Moon Wolf! After giving Moony a name, Lin Bei placed it on the floor in front of him and opened the system to check the interface of this Silver Moon Wolf pup. ¡°System, open Moony¡¯s system interface.¡± As soon as Lin Bei finished speaking, a light screen the size of a chessboard appeared in front of him. [Contracted Beast: Moony Race: Silver Moon Wolf Current experience: 2,200 Realm: Level 1 Wild Beast Bloodline: Superior Fourth Grade Demon power: 10 Physique: 11 (Human Basic Value: 10) Vitality: 1 (Human Basic Value: 10) Skills: None Bloodline Skill: Silver Moon Impact, Mental Growth Contract Nurturing: (Too low level, unable to nurture)] His gaze swept across Moony¡¯s system interface. The more he looked, the more interesting his expression became. His bloodline was of the Superior Fourth grade. Demon power 10, physique 11, vitality 12, and two bloodline skills! This talent¡ was simply amazing! Compared to Moony, Whitey¡¯s initial interface was simply pitiful. Fortunately, Lin Bei could use his experience to increase its strength. In addition, it had just eaten a Spirit Fruit and had awakened its spirit beast bloodline. Although there was still a big gap between him and Moony in terms of talent, Lin Bei was getting closer and closer. ¡°Wu~¡± Moony whimpered again. It seemed that it could not make a sound after being born. It could only whimper continuously like a puppy. Lin Bei picked up Moony and placed her on the table. After successfully signing the contract, the system rewarded it with some food for Moony. At this stage, beast meat might be a little difficult for it to digest. Hence, Lin Bei took out the beast milk from his inventory and found a syringe at home. Then, he placed the needle by Moony¡¯s mouth. ¡°Wu- Wu~¡± Smelling the fragrance of beast milk, Moony let out excited sounds. Lin Bei slowly pushed the syringe and fed the beast milk into its mouth. Whitey stood at the side and stared at Moony who was drinking milk with its big round eyes. It seemed that Whitey was also very curious about it. In a short while, Whitey had finished a tube of beast milk. [You fed Moony some beast milk. It feels very happy. Experience +100] [Whitey watched Moony drink the beast milk from the side. It felt that it was very novel. Experience +30] Good God! It could even increase experience like this! Lin Bei looked at his system interface. He had a total of 2,430 experience points now. According to his plan, he planned to increase Whitey¡¯s bloodline level first. Then, he would use the remaining experience points to increase Moony¡¯s realm. After all, in this situation, there was no need to increase Moony¡¯s bloodline level. At least not at the moment. However, Whitey¡¯s bloodline level was only at the Superior Eighth grade, although it was indeed not bad compared to ordinary Demon Tamers. However, compared to the elite students in the school, it was a little inferior. Thinking of this, Lin Bei did not waste any time. He summoned the system interface and clicked on the plus sign behind the bloodline column. [Do you want to spend 2,000 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline to the Inferior Seventh-grade?] ¡°2000 experience points.¡¯ Lin Bei repeated the number. This was something he had not expected. He had originally thought that it would be a little more expensive, but now that he looked at it, there really did not seem to be any pattern to the increase in spending. ¡°Yes.¡± He responded. [Bloodline upgrade successful. Whitey¡¯s bloodline level has been successfully upgraded to Inferior Seventh-grade.] [Detected that Whitey¡¯s bloodline level has increased, Host has received reward: Experience +600] [You¡¯ve raised Whitey¡¯s bloodline level. It feels very happy. Experience +100] The notifications from the system finally stopped. Lin Bei¡¯s smile was also very bright. Unexpectedly, he had spent 2,000 experience points to raise Whitey¡¯s bloodline level. He had actually gained 700 experience points again! In this way, with the remaining 400 experience points, Lin Bei now had a total of 1,100 experience points to increase Moony¡¯s realm. Whitey felt its bloodline level increase again, and it looked very happy. Lin Bei saw this. Ever since Whitey¡¯s realm and bloodline level became higher and higher, its various behaviors became more and more spiritual. There were many emotions that only Humans would have. It often appeared on Whitey¡¯s face, which amused Lin Bei. Now that Whitey had the ability to transform, if its intelligence really reached a certain level that day, it could completely transform into a Human and let her experience the feeling of being a Human. However, there was no hurry now. After all, the image of Whitey transforming was still vivid in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. As soon as he thought about it, his mind was filled with that fair body and the softness coming from her chest. It didn¡¯t make sense, it really didn¡¯t make sense! Why was she developing so well even though she was clearly a little girl! Lin Bei suddenly realized that he seemed to have gone overboard. After punishing himself for 1.5 seconds, he looked at Moony. Now, he still had 1,100 experience points, but he did not know what level it could be raised to. Opening Moony¡¯s system interface again, Lin Bei reached out and clicked on the plus sign behind the Realm column. [Upgraded realm. Do you want to spend 100 experience points to upgrade Moony¡¯s realm to a Level 2 wild beast?] ¡°Yes!¡± [Upgrade successful. Moony¡¯s realm has been upgraded to a Level 2 Wild Beast.] [You¡¯ve helped Moony raise her realm. It feels very happy. Experience +100] Reward: 100 experience points. The experience he had just used returned. Lin Bei grinned and continued to click on the system interface. [Upgrad realm. Do you want to spend 200 experience points to upgrade Moony¡¯s realm to a Level 3 wild beast?] [Upgraded realm. Do you want to spend 800 experience points to upgrade Moony¡¯s realm to a Level 5 wild beast?] Lin Bei looked at his remaining 840 experience points and finally replied. ¡°Yes!¡± [Upgrade successful. Moony¡¯s realm has been upgraded to Level 5 Wild Beast.] [You¡¯ve helped Moony raise her realm. It feels very happy. Experience +100] Chapter 30 - Second Resonance! Level Five Martial Master! Chapter 30: Second Resonance! Level Five Martial Master! After successfully upgrading Moony to a Level 5 wild beast, Lin Bei finally revealed a satisfied smile. Now that he had 140 EXP left, he should not be able to do anything in the short term. As her realm increased, Moony¡¯s figure magically grew a little, and the fur on her body became softer. Her fur was pure white and soft fur, made it really easy for people to blurt out this word. Elegant! However, the current Moony still looked a little silly. It might be because she had just been born. Even as a Level 5 wild beast, Moony could not walk so nimbly. Sometimes, she would fall down as she walked. Moony kept falling, and Whitey would sometimes follow her. Every time it was about to fall, Whitey would help it up. Lin Bei briefly brought Moony to familiarize herself with the environment at home. He looked at the slightly crowded cat bed and finally decided to go to the pet store again. But not now, because there were more important things to do. Resonance. It was the system function that not only increase Lin Bei¡¯s realm, but also his contract beast realm! At first, Lin Bei didn¡¯t remember, but when he thought of Whitey¡¯s transformation just now, he remembered that there was such a way to increase his realm. Pulling Moony in front of him, Lin Bei summoned the system again. ¡°System, I want to resonate with Moony.¡± [Received, host. Resonance is about to begin. Please stay within two meters of your contract beast.] As soon as the system¡¯s voice fell, a faint light began to rise from Moony¡¯s body and condensed into a glowing ball above it. When the ball reached the size of a fist, it suddenly slithered into Lin Bei¡¯s body like a small snake. In an instant, a powerful force began to burst out of his body. That power made his body feel very powerful and strong. Lin Bei could clearly feel that his realm was constantly increasing. Level Nine Martial Apprentice. Breakthrough! Level 1 Martial Master! After reaching the Martial Master Realm, Lin Bei¡¯s realm did not stop. Instead, it continued to rise. Level 2 Martial Master. Level 3 Martial Master. Level 4 Martial Master. Level 5 Martial Master! It was not until Lin Bei advanced to Level 5 Martial Master that this sudden increase finally stopped. In the end, he stopped at Level 5 Martial Master. ¡°This is¡ the feeling of power!¡± Lin Bei felt unprecedentedly relaxed, but every inch of his muscles was filled with explosive power. It was as if a casual punch could easily shatter a huge rock. ¡°So this is the Martial Master Realm¡¡± He clenched his fists tightly, and crackling sounds came from his palm. It was the sound of bones rubbing against each other. He threw a punch into the air. The strong wind from the punch lifted the curtains a few meters away from him! Lin Bei revealed a satisfied smile. At the same time, the system¡¯s voice sounded in his ears again. [Ding! The second resonance has ended. Congratulations to the host for raising your realm to Level 5 Martial Master. Your contract beast realm has increased to Level 7 Wild Beast!] [Ding! Detected that Moony¡¯s advancement to a Level 6 wild beast. Rewarded experience +400] [Ding! Detected that Moony¡¯s advancement to a Level 7 wild beast. Rewarded experience +400] As soon as the system finished speaking, Lin Bei looked at Moony. Her body size had increased again, and she was not much smaller than Whitey. However, her temperament did not change. Her naive expression made her look like a noble Silver Moon Wolf. She looked more like a silly husky. Lin Bei reached out and touched Moony¡¯s head. She wagged her tail excitedly and whimpered. ¡°Wu~¡± ¡°Wu~¡± Looking at Moony, who was almost as big as Whitey, he suddenly felt that something was wrong. However, Moony¡¯s growth in size was clearly much faster than Whitey¡¯s. Perhaps this was due to her bloodline talent. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect that in less than two hours after signing the contract, Moony¡¯s realm had already broken through to Level 7.¡± ¡°It¡¯s only one realm away from Whitey.¡± As Lin Bei spoke, he took out the beast meat rewarded by the system from his inventory. What surprised him was that Moony¡¯s increase in realm did not seem to bring him the reward of the treasure chest. ¡°Looks like I can only be rewarded once for each realm.¡± Lin Bei muttered. He was not greedy. After all, even if there was only one reward in this treasure chest, it was enough for him to use for a long time. 5So far, he had only used two low-grade Spirit Stones in his storage space. He planned to find an opportunity to exchange a portion of the remaining stones for some money. With resonance, his martial arts realm improved very quickly. Next, he only needed to wait for Whitey and Moony to advance to the dire beast realm. Only then could he resonate again. And by then, Lin Bei¡¯s realm would increase again. Thinking of this, Lin Bei revealed a satisfied smile again. Now, his growth speed was very fast. If this continued, he would be able to surpass their class teacher in another month at most. In other words, surpass Old Poison, Du Bo. Du Bo¡¯s Blue-Striped Python had a Mid Sixth grade bloodline and was a Fifth grade5 dire beast, while Du Bo himself was a Third grade Martial King. When the man and snake worked together, as long as the other party¡¯s cultivation level not exceed the Martial King Realm, Du Bo would be invincible. This was the unique advantage of Demon Tamers. did Lin Bei had already reached Level Five Martial Master. Although he did not have any outstanding talent in martial arts, with Whitey, even a Great Martial Master could not do anything to him. If he brought Moony along, Lin Bei would be able to fight even a Great Martial Master! However, in this situation, Lin Bei did not plan to bring Moony out to everyone. After all, it was too scary for a Level 5 Martial Master to have two contracted beasts at the same time. Lin Bei knew very well that a tall tree attracts the wind. However, when it was time to attack, Lin Bei would definitely not hide it. Currently he was just choosing to keep a low profile, not pretending to be a pig. Sometimes, if he pretended to be a pig for too long, he would really become a pig. Lin Bei did not want this to happen to him. Chapter 31 - Demon Beast Space! The Suddenly Transformed Whitey! Chapter 31: Demonic Beast Space! The Suddenly Transformed Whitey! Looking at Moony in front of him, Lin Bei began to think about where to keep it. It was fine to bring it with him, but someone should be able to tell that it was a Demonic Beast with a strong bloodline soon. Although it did not look like a Silver Moon Wolf at all yet. However, this was only a matter of time, so Lin Bei had to consider it carefully. However, just as Lin Bei was thinking about where to arrange it, the system¡¯s voice suddenly sounded in his mind. [Detected a requirement from the host. The Demon Beast Space will automatically open.] [After the Demon Beast Space is opened, the host can place the contract beast into the Demon Beast Space according to your wishes. The contract beast in the Demon Beast Space will immediately enter a dormant state and its experience points will slowly increase.] When Lin Bei heard this, he stood up from the sofa. This system really fulfilled all his requests! With this Demon Beast Space, not only could he solve Moony¡¯s problem, but he could also slowly gain experience! This cheat is definitely profitable and advantageous! ¡°How many contract beasts can be placed in this Demon Beast Space?¡± Lin Bei asked the question that he was more concerned about. If he could put two in at once, it would be much more convenient for him to travel in the future. [For now, only one can be placed. However, as the host¡¯s realm increases, the Demonic Beast space will gradually expand.] ¡°I see¡¡± ¡°But at this stage, it¡¯s enough to just put one in.¡± Lin Bei smiled and immediately began to practice. ¡°Moony.¡± He called out for Moony and it heard Lin Bei¡¯s voice. Moony immediately ran over and sat in front of him with her tail wagging. Lin Bei stroked Moony¡¯s head and thought to himself. ¡°Put it in the Demon Beast Space.¡± In the next second, Moony disappeared from the spot. At the same time, an image suddenly appeared in Lin Bei¡¯s mind. The scene in the image was like a paradise. There were mountains, rivers, and a very small wooden house. Moony¡¯s figure suddenly appeared. However, not long after she entered, Moony¡¯s expression showed that she was a little tired. Then, she lay down on the spot and fell asleep. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei instantly reacted. The scene that appeared in his mind was the Demon Beast Space! ¡°That¡¯s quite convenient.¡± Seeing that Moony had fallen asleep in the Demonic Beast space, Lin Bei did not disturb her. Instead, he carried Whitey in front of him and walked towards the bathroom. When he arrived at the bathroom door, Lin Bei hesitated for a moment before leaving Whitey at the door. He opened the door and went in to take a good shower. Ever since Whitey could transform, every time Lin Bei wanted to take a shower with it, he would feel an inexplicable sense of strangeness. Therefore, Lin Bei had been washing himself for the past few days. After he was done, he would fill the bathtub with water for Whitey again and let it wash itself. However, Lin Bei knew that Whitey would not bathe him. It was only a matter of time before they came out of the water. However, he had no choice. Otherwise, he would feel like he was bathing with a little girl barely in her teens. But today, just as Lin Bei was about to take a shower, Whitey¡¯s cries came from outside the bathroom. ¡°Meow!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Lin Bei was frustrated. It felt like he was condemning Lin Bei for only bathing himself. Helpless, Lin Bei could only open the bathroom door. As soon as he opened the door, he saw Whitey sitting obediently at the door. Its big round eyes were looking at Lin Bei innocently. He had no choice but to carry Whitey into the bathtub. [You bathed Whitey and it felt very happy. Experience +80] Whitey shook the bell on its neck and placed its hands on Lin Bei¡¯s chest, waiting for Lin Bei to pour warm water on it. However, as the saying goes, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Just as Lin Bei picked up a small basin and was about to rinse the soap off Whitey, a white mist suddenly rose. In the blink of an eye, Whitey on Lin Bei¡¯s body changed. Feeling the familiar soft touch on his chest, Lin Bei¡¯s brain quickly overloaded. Only then did he realize that Whitey had turned into a girl again! ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey did not seem to realize that it had turned into a Human. It meowed softly at Lin Bei. Lin Bei froze in the bathtub. He looked at the naked¡ Oh, sorry, Whitey had a pink collar bell on her neck. Looking at the little girl who only had a bell on her body, Lin Bei did not know what to do. ¡°Whitey, why don¡¯t you get off me first?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded and sat up straight from Lin Bei¡¯s body. However, when she sat up, he was shocked again. Good God! The two mountains were towering and upright. Lin Bei almost spat out a mouthful of blood. He could only quickly stretch out his arm and press Whitey back onto his body. The water in the bathroom was steaming. Lin Bei and Whitey lay in the bathtub, not daring to move. ¡°Whitey, will you change back?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey responded. In the next second, her body began to shrink rapidly and finally returned to her cat form. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey, who had returned to its cat form, crawled on Lin Bei¡¯s body. Its little head kept rubbing against him, looking very intimate. Seeing that Whitey had returned to its normal form, Lin Bei heaved a sigh of relief. He quickly picked Whitey up and lifted it into the air with both hands. ¡°In the future, you can¡¯t change shape in the shower, understand?¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey replied. I can¡¯t understand this cat¡ Lin Bei was speechless, but since Whitey could understand Human language, he would just assume that she agreed. After calming himself down, Lin Bei took a quick shower and left the bathroom. There was still a class test tomorrow. He did not want to be unable to sleep tonight. Chapter 32 - Class Test! Chapter 32: Class Test! When he woke up, it was already past eight in the morning. Lin Bei looked at the sunlight outside the window and narrowed his eyes. A lazy feeling came over him. Although he really wanted to go back to sleep, time was no longer on his side. He lifted the blanket and was about to get up when he saw Whitey sleeping soundly under his blanket. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei didn¡¯t know whether to laugh or cry. This reminded him of the scene in the bathroom last night. Ahem, he couldn¡¯t think too much about it. Lin Bei walked past Whitey, put on his clothes, and started preparing breakfast. Half an hour later, Whitey got up on time and started to enjoy her breakfast. Moony was also summoned by Lin Bei from the Demonic Beast space. After a night, it had obtained a total of 110 experience points in the Demon Beast Space. Lin Bei looked at his watch. Eleven hours had passed. ¡°That should be 10 EXP per hour.¡± Although it was not much, it was better than nothing. Thinking of this, Lin Bei also placed Moony¡¯s breakfast on the ground. Moony, who had just come out of the Demonic Beast space, immediately wolfed it down. In terms of table manners, Whitey was much more elegant than Moony. After another half an hour, Lin Bei did some simple things to gain experience points and brought Moony back to the Demon Beast Space. He brought Whitey to the classroom. In his opinion, there was no need for Moony to appear in this class test. He and Whitey could deal with all the problems. One had to know that many of Lin Bei¡¯s classmates had yet to start cultivating martial arts. Now that Lin Bei¡¯s martial arts realm had reached Level Five Martial Master, this alone was enough to crush all the students in the class. Not to mention that his Whitey had already reached Level 8 wild beast, and its bloodline level had also increased to Inferior Seventh rank. With such a configuration, forget about the first-year students. Even third-year students might not be able to last more than a few rounds against Lin Bei. Ten minutes later, Lin Bei pushed open the classroom door. He arrived early, so there were not many people in the class. However, Bai Ranran, who was in the front row, was already seated. From the looks of it, she had arrived a long time ago. A hint of surprise flashed across Bai Ranran¡¯s eyes when she saw Lin Bei. She seemed to want to go forward and greet him, but she seemed to be a little afraid and retracted her hand. In Bai Ranran¡¯s opinion, the people from the top families must be very scary. They were the kind of people who would ask someone to take their lives if they smiled at them the wrong way. After much hesitation, Bai Ranran decided to reduce her contact with Lin Bei in case she provoked him. Or the consequences would be unimaginable. However, Of course, Lin Bei did not know what Bai Ranran was thinking. He only felt that her actions were a little strange. However, Lin Bei did not pay much attention to it. Instead, he found a corner seat and sat down. Time passed slowly. Lin Bei stroked Whitey, who was sitting on his lap, while waiting for everyone in the class to arrive. Twenty minutes passed, and most of the students in the class had arrived. At this moment, Du Bo also pushed open the door and walked in. As soon as he appeared, the noisy class immediately fell silent. His sharp gaze swept across every student in the class. Du Bo spoke in his characteristic voice. ¡°Today is the day of the class test.¡± ¡°The results of this test will also be included in your final results.¡± ¡°If you fail, you¡¯ll have to retake the failed course after you enter the second grade next year.¡± ¡°Let me make this clear first. You are not allowed to use any technological means, take any medicine, or use the strength of others to participate in the test.¡± ¡°Once such a situation occurs, the student will be forcibly expelled!¡± ¡°Do you understand?¡± ¡°Understood!¡± Everyone in the class responded loudly. Du Bo nodded in satisfaction. ¡°Now, all students, head to the examination venue!¡± Hearing Teacher Du Bo¡¯s words, the students began to get up and leave the classroom one after another. Lin Bei sat in the corner and was not in a hurry. However, at this moment, Du Bo walked towards Lin Bei. ¡°Lin Bei, did you go to the Sea Moon Forest yesterday?¡± Hearing this, Lin Bei immediately reacted. Alright, he must be here to interrogate him. If nothing went wrong, Qin Yue must have complained to Pei Feng and Pei Feng found Du Bo. ¡°Yes, Teacher Du.¡± ¡°I heard from Pei Feng that you went over when Qin Yue was on duty yesterday. Not long after you went in, she saw you pull the signal flare. However, when she went over, you were gone. ¡°They thought something had happened to you. They searched the entire Sea Moon Forest and couldn¡¯t find you.¡± Faced with such a sharp statement, Lin Bei¡¯s brain began to spin rapidly, trying to find a reasonable excuse. Unexpectedly, in the next second, Du Bo spoke. ¡°I saw in the surveillance records at the school gate that you were back, so I told them last night.¡± ¡°Be careful in the future. Don¡¯t always let others have something on you.¡± With that, Du Bo turned around and left the class. Watching Teacher Du Bo leave, Lin Bei¡¯s heart was filled with gratitude. He really wanted to grab Du Bo¡¯s hand and shout. Teacher, you¡¯ve worked hard! Five minutes later, all the students of the first-year Demon Tamer class gathered at the examination venue. This was a huge venue behind the school. There were all kinds of testing instruments in the venue to measure the various indicators in the students¡¯ bodies. In addition to these instruments, there was also a huge martial arts platform in the center of the venue. It was used for students to spar and compete. There was a rule in Sea City¡¯s No. 1 martial arts academy that students were not allowed to fight in private. Once discovered, both parties would be punished unconditionally. If there was friction between students, it would have to be resolved on this martial arts platform. There would be medical personnel on standby at all times beside the martial arts platform. Of course, there were also teachers present to maintain order. Once there was a situation where both sides might be seriously injured, the teachers would immediately step forward to stop them. Du Bo stood at the front of the group of students. After counting, he called Bai Ranran to his side. ¡°You take them in for the tests later.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll go look for the teacher at the martial arts arena.¡± ¡°Oh, okay, Teacher Du!¡± Bai Ranran nodded and took the name list from Du Bo. ¡°Students, follow me to the exam arena!¡± Chapter 33 - Lin Bei, Are You Scared? Chapter 33: Lin Bei, Are You Scared? Soon, under Bai Ranran¡¯s lead, the students of the Demon Tamer class stood in a row. There were only 20 to 30 students in the class, so the test wouldn¡¯t take too much time. The first two categories were just some physical indicators, so it was completed in ten minutes. After filling in the last student¡¯s information, Bai Ranran looked at the next test instrument. When she saw the note the teacher had specially left on the form, her pretty face turned slightly red. ¡°Next, we need to record your weight. Male students, please take off your shirt.¡± Hearing this, the boys and girls in the class all had strange expressions. Of course, there were also many boys who liked to work out and could not wait to show off their muscles. As soon as Bai Ranran finished speaking, they took off their clothes. After taking off his clothes, he did not forget to pretend to inadvertently pose a few times, the kind that could show off his muscles. ¡°Damn, Da Hen, your muscles are too good!¡± Hou Ran¡¯s voice suddenly sounded, immediately attracting everyone¡¯s attention. Sure enough, when many people saw the muscles on Da Hen¡¯s body, they could not help but be shocked. Although the muscles on Da Hen¡¯s body weren¡¯t too well defined, one look and anyone could tell that he trains and exercises regularly. Feeling everyone¡¯s admiring gazes, there were also a few girls whispering at the side. His need for vanity was greatly satisfied. ¡°Thankfully I applied medicine in advance yesterday to make my muscles more obvious.¡± ¡°Worship me!¡± Da Hen thought to himself. However, just as Da Bai was still intoxicated in his inner world, the girl¡¯s exclamations pulled him back to reality. ¡°Wah!!¡± ¡°Lin Bei! Look at Lin Bei!¡± ¡°Oh my god! This is what it means to look thin in clothes, but have flesh when you take off your clothes!¡± ¡°In comparison, Da Hen¡¯s muscles look so greasy. I still like people like Lin Bei. He¡¯s just right!¡± ¡°Unfortunately, you like him, but he doesn¡¯t like you.¡± ¡°Why are you so harsh!¡± Da Cheng followed the girl¡¯s gaze and saw Lin Bei take off his shirt. His explosive muscles were instantly revealed. Although Lin Bei¡¯s muscles were not very big, his lines were very smooth. Coupled with his figure, he looked very pleasing to the eye. However, it was different in Da Hen¡¯s eyes. Looking at Lin Bei¡¯s direction, Da Hen could only say sourly. ¡°Tsk, it¡¯s just muscles from the gym.¡± ¡°He looks so thin. He must have pumped himself with steroids.¡± A girl beside him rolled her eyes and said bluntly. ¡°Even if he injected himself with steroids, he¡¯s still better looking than you.¡± Da Hen: ¡ Bai Ranran stood at the side and stole a glance at Lin Bei. Her pretty face instantly turned even redder, but as the class monitor, she still had to do her duty. ¡°Male students, stand in a row and prepare for the test.¡± The boys stood in a row, waiting to be tested one by one. Five minutes later, the gender test was over. Bai Ranran turned her attention to the next test. Strength test. This was different from the first three. The first three were equivalent to checking all aspects of the body, and this could be considered a real test. Since he had already signed a contract with his contracted beast, the Demon Tamer had to begin martial arts cultivation. The strength test was one of the criteria. Generally speaking, the strength of a Martial Apprentice who had just stepped into martial arts cultivation should be around 300kg. As for Level 2 Martial Apprentices, they needed their strength to grow to 600kg. A Level 3 Martial Apprentice at 900kg, and only Level 9 Martial Apprentice could reach 1,800kg. Once he successfully broke through to the Martial Master Realm, his strength would reach 3,000kg. The increase in strength was a slow process. The further one went, the harder it was to increase, unless some people had special martial arts talent. Otherwise, under normal circumstances, it would not exceed this value. The strength-testing device was a huge boxing device. The student only needed to swing his fist at the center of the device with all his might, and the device could calculate the student¡¯s general strength. Lin Bei looked at the equipment in front of him and began to calculate how much he should hit. Under normal circumstances, a Level 5 Martial Master like him could probably exert more than 5,000 kilograms of force. However, the instrument in front of him did not look like it could withstand 5,000 kilograms of force. Therefore, he had to control his strength to a seemingly reasonable range. While he was thinking, the students on the other side had already begun the strength test. ¡°Wu Han, results: 588kg, not qualified!¡± Hearing this voice, a handsome boy was stunned for a moment, looking a little surprised. ¡°Disqualified for hitting 588kg?!¡± ¡°Oh my god! How much does it take to pass¡¡¯ Bai Ranran glanced at the form the teacher had left for her and said to everyone in the class. ¡°The standards that Teacher Du gave us are 600kg for boys and 480kg for girls¡¡± Hearing this, the students in the class were all very shocked. I ¡°600kg?! Doesn¡¯t that mean that only a Level 2 Martial Apprentice can do it?! Oh no, oh no, definitely won¡¯t pass!¡± ¡°F*ck, this is too difficult. We¡¯ve only obtained a contract beast for a few days, and they¡¯re already asking us to break through to Level 2 Martial Apprentice!¡± ¡°Even girls have to have 480kg¡ Don¡¯t tell me our entire class will be wiped out¡¡± ¡°I think Lin Bei can definitely do it. Look at his muscles. They¡¯re amazing!¡± Seeing that the students in the class had started discussing, Da Hen stood out from the crowd and shouted. ¡°Tsk, just a small strength test is enough to stump you. It¡¯s your fault for not working out! As long as you work a little harder, you will definitely be able to break through to Level 1 Martial Apprentice in these few days!¡± As he spoke, he arrogantly arrived in front of the strength testing device. He raised his right arm, gritted his teeth, threw a punch. BANG! and A loud sound was heard, and the sound of the testing equipment quickly came. ¡°Wang Da Hen, results: 1,188kg, pass!¡± Seeing this scene, the students in the class were also a little shocked. They did not expect that Da Hen was really so strong. Hou Ran also walked in front of Da Hen at the right time and started to bootlick him, saying how his results are hard won. Lin Bei stood at the side and looked in the direction of Da Hen, thinking to himself. 1,980 catties. This strength was about to reach Level 4 Martial Apprentice. It had to be said that although Da Hen was not a very smart person, and was a little ugly, he still had some talent in martial arts cultivation. At this moment, Da Hen¡¯s voice broke Lin Bei¡¯s train of thought. ¡°Lin Bei, don¡¯t tell me you¡¯re afraid?¡± Chapter 34 Could This Instrument Be Broken! Chapter 34 Could This Instrument Be Broken! ? Hearing Da Hen¡¯ words, everyone in the class quickly focused their gazes on Lin Bei. If nothing went wrong, there shouldn¡¯t be many people in the entire class who could pass the strength test. Lin Bei was one of those touted to pass. Therefore, the other students also wanted to see what kind of results Lin Bei could achieve. ¡°Lin Bei¡¯s muscles are definitely not comparable to Da Hen¡¯s. I think he can only barely reach 500kg.¡± Hou Ran said carefully beside Da Hen. Obviously, he wanted to curry favor with Da Hen, but he did not dare to offend Lin Bei too much. Unfortunately, Lin Bei still heard it. He was now a Level 5 Martial Master. Even if he didn¡¯t want to hear such whispers, they would still reach his ears. Lin Bei did not say a word about this. He only glanced at Hou Ran and Da Hen. However, this glance made the two of them tremble. It felt as if he had fallen into an ice hole just now. Cold sweat immediately appeared on his back. It was as if the person who looked at them just now was not Lin Bei, but a dire beast. In the next second, he was going to eat them alive. Seeing their reactions, Lin Bei smiled imperceptibly. If a Martial Apprentice was just a beginner in martial arts¡ In that case, a Martial Master could be said to be at the beginning of the path. Once he broke through to the Martial Master Realm, he would be able to make some simple use of spiritual energy. Although Lin Bei had reached Level 5 Martial Master, he had yet to come into contact with martial arts techniques. However, he could still use some simple techniques. For example, just now, Lin Bei had used his spiritual energy to intimidate Hou Ran and Da Hen. This was why they felt like they were facing a dire beast without anyone noticing. Under normal circumstances, only when one¡¯s realm was absolutely suppressed could such an effect be produced. As he was thinking, Lin Bei had already arrived in front of the strength test instrument. Looking at the testing equipment in front of him, Lin Bei took a deep breath and tried his best to control his strength to a suitable range. BANG! The extremely fast punch landed on the strength tester like raindrops. In an instant, the value on the strength tester began to increase rapidly. 300 kilograms. 600 kilograms. 1,200 kilograms. 1,800 kilograms. 3,000 kilograms!! The number on the strength test instrument reached 3,000 kilograms before slowly stopping. In the end, the number stopped at 3,228 kilograms. ¡°Lin Bei, results: 3,228 kilograms, pass!¡± Silence. It was very quiet. Near the strength test instrument, everyone¡¯s eyes widened as they looked at Lin Bei¡¯s results. Their eyes were filled with shock. 3,228 kilograms! This also meant that Lin Bei¡¯s martial arts realm had very likely broken through the Martial Apprentice realm and reached the level of a Martial Master! ¡°3,228 kilograms!! Oh my god! Lin Bei, are you even human?!¡± ¡°Martial Master! Has Lin Bei broken through to the Martial Master Realm?!¡± ¡°How is this possible! How long has it been since we got the contract beast? I¡¯ve been cultivating since the first day and am only a Level 2 Martial Apprentice now.¡± ¡°There must be something wrong with the device!¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t you notice? Lin Bei¡¯s punch was too fast! I didn¡¯t even see how he punched!!¡± Bai Ranran stood beside Lin Bei. She could feel how powerful his punch was. In fact, the wind from the punches blew her hair up. At this moment, she covered her mouth with her hand. At the same time, she was even more convinced that Lin Bei had a terrifying background. After all¡ How could anyone really rely on their cultivation talent to soar from an ordinary person without any spiritual energy to the Martial Master Realm in just a few days? Under everyone¡¯s surprised gazes, Lin Bei stood rooted to the ground, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. He did not expect that even though he had tried his best to control it, he could still punch out with 3,228 kilograms of force. ¡®It seems that controlling this power is quite difficult.¡¯ Lin Bei thought to himself. But just as he was about to turn around and leave, Teacher Du Bo¡¯s voice sounded behind him. ¡°What are you doing? There¡¯s only our Demon Tamer class in the entire venue. Are you afraid that others won¡¯t hear you?¡± Du Bo walked over with a dark expression. Obviously, he was attracted by the exclamations of the other students. Seeing Teacher Du walk over, the other students hurriedly surrounded him and said to Du Bo. ¡°Teacher Du, look, Lin Bei¡¯s results!¡± ¡°3,228 kilograms of force! Lin Bei has broken through to the Martial Master Realm!¡± ¡°Teacher Du, why don¡¯t you check the equipment and see if there¡¯s anything wrong? I feel that this result doesn¡¯t make sense!¡± ¡°It doesn¡¯t make sense? Does it only not make sense if someone else is better than you?¡± ¡°It¡¯s mainly because this is too ridiculous.¡± Amidst everyone¡¯s voices, Du Bo¡¯s gaze also turned to a number on an instrument. 3,228 kilograms of force! After confirming that he had not seen wrongly, even Du Bo¡¯s face revealed a shocked expression. This year, in order to increase the sense of urgency of these students, he had indeed deliberately raised the qualification standards a little, so that these students could not slack off in their martial arts cultivation. At the same time, he was also prepared for more than half of the students to fail. However¡ However, this 3,228 kilograms of force was not within Du Bo¡¯s expectations. He looked at Lin Bei, who was standing in front of the device. At this moment, Lin Bei had an innocent expression, as if he was saying that he did not know what was going on. However, Du Bo was still a teacher. After a short moment of shock, he checked the instrument immediately. After confirming that there was nothing wrong with the instrument, he said loudly. ¡°There¡¯s nothing wrong with the instruments.¡± ¡°Student Lin Bei¡¯s results¡ are accepted!¡± The class was in an uproar again. But before everyone could start discussing, Du Bo interrupted them. ¡°Now, the test will continue as usual. You are not allowed to be as noisy as before!¡± After arranging this matter, Du Bo looked at Lin Bei. ¡°Lin Bei, come with me.¡± Lin Bei was slightly stunned when his name was called, but he still followed Du Bo over. Chapter 35 - Special Training! An Invitation from Du Bo! Chapter 35: Special Training! An Invitation from Du Bo! The two of them arrived at the other side of the stadium. Du Bo turned around and looked at Lin Bei as if he was looking at a freak. One had to know that the source of a person¡¯s strength came from the combination of many parts of the body. If you want to achieve extraordinary strength, you need your bones, muscles, control over your body, and the coordination of other parts of your body to a certain extent. Therefore, a martial artist¡¯s strength in every realm had a theoretical limit value. Under normal circumstances, it was very difficult for anyone to break through this limit. Unless one had the martial arts talent blessed by God or a special physique that increased one¡¯s strength. However, Lin Bei clearly did not belong to either of them. Because during the talent test some time ago, it did not show that he had any special martial arts talent. Then, since these possibilities were eliminated, There was only one truth left. Lin Bei¡¯s realm¡ had really reached Level 1 Martial Master! Sensing Du Bo¡¯s strange gaze, Lin Bei scratched his head in embarrassment. At this moment, Du Bo¡¯s eyes suddenly became serious as he asked him in his unique low voice. ¡°Lin Bei, don¡¯t lie to me.¡± ¡°What martial arts realm are you at now?¡± Hearing this question, Lin Bei did not hesitate to give his answer. ¡°Level 1 Martial Master.¡± In fact, the moment Du Bo discovered his results, Lin Bei had already thought of how to explain it. If he said that he had already reached the level of a Level 5 Martial Master, it would be too terrifying. After all, the lower one¡¯s martial arts cultivation realm was, the slower the speed of improvement. From a Level 1 Martial Apprentice to a Level 5 Martial Apprentice, a top genius might be able to do it in a day with the additional help of tools like Spirit Stones. However, to advance from a Level 1 Martial Master to a Level 5 Martial Master, even under the same conditions, it would take three days. That goes without saying if it is just ordinary people cultivating. Therefore, Lin Bei only told Du Bo that he was a Level 1 Martial Master. Even so, Du Bo, who was standing in front of Lin Bei, still had a shocked expression. Although Du Bo had guessed this answer, it was a different thing hearing it come from Lin Bei¡¯s own mouth. After spending half a minute to calm himself down, Du Bo suddenly looked at Lin Bei like a sharp sword. ¡°Do you know about the special training in Sea City?¡± Du Bo didn¡¯t ask Lin Bei why he was cultivating so quickly. Everyone had their own secrets, and he knew this very well. At the same time, this surprised Lin Bei, who had already prepared a backstory of his own. Still, he quickly answered Du Bo¡¯s question. ¡°I¡¯ve heard of them. I think they gathered the top martial artists from all the universities in Sea City for special training.¡± ¡°Yes, but do you know the purpose of this special training?¡± Lin Bei shook his head. He really did not know about this. The only time he heard the word ¡®special training¡¯ was from Hai Xin. He really did not know the purpose of the special training. ¡°Then let me tell you. The purpose of the special training is for the annual martial arts conference of the Great Xia Kingdom.¡± ¡°Martial arts conference ?¡± Lin Bei was no stranger to these words. Or rather, as long as it was a martial artist from Great Xia, they would be familiar with it. This was a martial arts conference organized by the Great Xia government. Representatives from the various universities would be sent out to compete. In the end, the top three martial artists would obtain the cultivation treasures prepared by Great Xia. ¡°Actually, other than the individual ranking of martial artists, there¡¯s another ranking that¡¯s not publicized. That¡¯s the ranking of the universities.¡± ¡°To be more precise, it should be the ranking of the regional universities. In other words, the average ranking of the contestants from each region participating in this martial arts conference is used to calculate the ranking of each region in Great Xia.¡± ¡°The higher the ranking of the universities, the more resources they will receive.¡± ¡°Unfortunately, Sea City has been in the last three for three consecutive years. Therefore, since last year, the higher-ups of Sea City have decided to hold special training to nurture the top talents in Sea City.¡± ¡°There, you will receive more professional guidance and better cultivation resources.¡¯ Hearing this, Lin Bei roughly understood what Du Bo meant. However, he did not expect Sea City to be so miserable. For three consecutive years, they were in the placed third from last. Although he knew that Sea City was not considered one of the top cities in Great Xia, However, he did not expect to be last for three consecutive years. ¡°I understand. Teacher Du, you mean¡ ¡°I want you to join the special training.¡± Indeed. It was just as Lin Bei had expected, but joining this special training would only benefit him. He had no reason to refuse. Hence, he nodded and agreed. ¡°Don¡¯t be in a hurry to refuse¡ Wait, you agreed?!¡± ¡°That¡¯s right.¡± Lin Bei looked at Du Bo sincerely. This made Du Bo, who had prepared a bellyful of objection handling reasons to counter, not know whether to laugh or cry. ¡°That¡¯s good. You¡¯re a smart kid. You don¡¯t need me to spend too much energy on you. ¡°Alright, go take the exam first.¡± With that, Du Bo turned around and ran towards the center of the venue. Lin Bei followed behind him. At this moment, the strength test was almost done. As Du Bo had predicted, more than half of the class failed, and two-thirds of them were girls. Of course, this did not mean that girls were lazier than boys in cultivation. However, in terms of strength, girls were naturally at a disadvantage. Even if they were Level 2 Martial Apprentices, it was very likely that they could not exert 600kg of strength. Therefore, the qualification value that Teacher Du Bo had set for them was 480kg. Even so, there were still many girls who did not pass the test. What surprised Lin Bei was that Bai Ranran had actually exerted a total of 840kg of force. This meant that she had very likely broken through to become a Level 3 Martial Apprentice. Her results were even much better than many of the boys present. ¡®Looks like the class monitor is also secretly working hard.¡¯ Lin Bei muttered in his heart. Then Du Bo¡¯s voice rang in their ears again. ¡°Alright, the strength test is over.¡± ¡°Next is the actual combat test.¡± ¡°Students, split into groups according to your will student numbers. Two people from the same group go to the dueling platform to fight.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll watch the entire battle from the side and then give you a score. It doesn¡¯t mean that you¡¯ll definitely be disqualified if you lose, so you have to use your full strength in battle!¡± Chapter 36 - Lin Beis Opponent Is Me! Chapter 36 Lin Bei¡¯s Opponent Is Me! As soon as Du Bo¡¯s voice fell, the students of the Demon Tamer class rubbed their palms together excitedly. Obviously, they had been looking forward to this segment for a long time. ¡°Hurry, hurry, hurry! Let¡¯s go, we want to be the first! I¡¯ve been unhappy with you for a long time!¡± ¡°Oh, you have guts! Just don¡¯t cry from me beating you later.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll let my Thunder Bear bite you to death later!¡± ¡°F*ck, do you think my Lightning Wolf is a weakling?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t just talk. Don¡¯t you run away later!¡± ¡°Who¡¯s afraid of who!¡± The students were getting more and more excited. This was exactly what Du Bo wanted to see. ¡°First of all, the first to go on stage is the class monitor, Bai Ranran, against Li Feng!¡± Du Bo¡¯s voice rang across the arena. Bai Ranran immediately rode her Red Mane Lion to the arena. She was wearing a light blue dress today, and her slender legs swayed as she sat on the Red Mane Lion, attracting the attention of many boys. ¡°Good luck, Class President! Kill Li Feng!¡± ¡°Should I say it or not? Class President¡¯s Red Mane Lion is so white. Ah, no, it¡¯s really long. No, no, no. It¡¯s so fierce, so ferocious!¡± ¡°The class monitor¡¯s strength test just now was 840kg. I think Li Feng is in trouble.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think he¡¯ll last two minutes!¡± Under everyone¡¯s gaze, Li Feng, who was on the other side of the arena, also brought his White Crane to the arena. Lin Bei looked over and raised his eyebrows. As a Level 2 Martial Apprentice, the White Crane was only at Level 2 wild beast realm. It was possible that Bai Ranran would finish the test in less than two minutes. After all, Bai Ranran was already a Level 3 Martial Apprentice, and there was also the Red Mane Lion, which had advanced to a Level 4 wild beast. This combat strength was basically the ceiling of the class other than Lin Bei. ¡°Both sides, get ready. Listen to my countdown.¡± ¡°3¡¡± ¡°Two¡¡± ¡°1! Begin!¡± The countdown ended, and the battle between the two sides was about to begin. Bai Ranran, who had the realm advantage, was the first to attack. She rode on the Red Mane Lion and pounced at Li Feng. The Red Mane Lion, which was now a Level 4 wild beast, had clearly grown a lot compared to before. Be it in terms of speed or strength, it had improved quite a bit. ¡°ROAR!¡± With a loud lion roar, the Red Mane Lion accurately predicted the location where the White Crane spread its wings and took off, pressing it to the ground. Seeing that his contract beast was suppressed by the other party, Li Feng immediately became a little anxious. He wanted to attack Bai Ranran¡¯s contracted beast, but the Level 4 wild beast, the Red Mane Lion, was not something a Level 2 Martial Apprentice could shake down. ¡°PA!¡± The soft attack hit the Red Mane Lion¡¯s body, but it did not even shake its body. In the next second, Li Feng¡¯s vision suddenly darkened. A figure appeared in front of him. ¡°Mountain Splitting Palm!¡± ¡°PA!¡± Bai Ranran shouted and slapped Li Feng¡¯s chest with one hand. A huge force instantly erupted, causing Li Feng to feel as if he had been hit by a small car. His entire body was sent flying out of the arena. Seeing this scene, Lin Bei was slightly stunned. Martial techniques. He did not expect that Bai Ranran, who was only a Level 3 Martial Apprentice, would start to use martial techniques before he, a Level 5 Martial Master, had even learned martial techniques. Of course, this had nothing to do with talent. It was mainly because Lin Bei had been focused on his contract beast for the past few days. Therefore, there had never been any obvious increase in his combat strength. Other than the increase in realm brought by resonance, he did not study martial techniques and combat techniques too deeply. However, seeing how things have panned out today, seems like it is time. The power of this martial technique was indeed powerful. It was clearly only one realm higher than the other party, and it was a stage where the difference in realm was not much. Using a martial technique could actually send Li Feng flying. From the looks of it, martial techniques indeed increased one¡¯s combat strength very clearly. On the other side, Du Bo looked at Li Feng, who was lying on the ground, and shook his head helplessly as he announced the results. ¡°Battle results, Bai Ranran wins!¡± ¡°Results of the test, Bai Ranran, passed!¡± ¡°Li Feng, failed!¡± Li Feng, who was below the arena, revealed a bitter expression when he heard this outcome. He did not expect the difference between him and the class monitor to be so huge. In just one round, the other party¡¯s contract beast suppressed his White Crane tightly in a single exchange. His main body was even instantly killed by the other party. How embarrassing! It was too embarrassing! Li Feng wanted to dig a hole and hide. At this moment, Teacher Du Bo added a few more words. ¡°Student Li Feng, although your martial arts realm has barely reached the standard, you¡¯re not working hard enough still.¡± ¡°Your use of contract beasts is even worse. Your White Crane is clearly a contract beast that has the advantage in speed. Why was it controlled by the other party¡¯s Red Mane Lion first?¡± ¡°If you had distanced yourself from Bai Ranran from the start, you wouldn¡¯t have lost so badly.¡± After commenting, Du Bo did not delay and called out the second group of students. ¡°Bai Feng versus Xu Haiping!¡± This was also a battle with a great disparity in strength. Bai Feng, a Level 3 Martial Apprentice, suppressed Xu Haiping all the way until the end of the competition. He only used ten seconds more than Bai Ranran. ¡°Group 3, Han Fengxue, fight Luo Keke!¡± ¡°Group 4, Li Hua versus Han Meimei!¡± ¡°Group 10, Qin Feng versus Miao Shuishui!¡± Time passed bit by bit. In the blink of an eye, more than half of the students in the class had finished fighting. Lin Bei stood below the stage and felt a little bored. Whitey started to doze off on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder. Obviously, it also found it very boring. But soon, Lin Bei discovered another problem. Du Bo seemed to have deliberately skipped his student number. There were a total of 27 students in the class, which meant that one of them was definitely independent. Could it be that Du Bo felt that he was too strong, so he skipped his assessment? Of course, it was not impossible. After all, he was now a Level 5 Martial Master. Even if Whitey did not attack, Lin Bei could easily deal with everyone in the class. Even if Lin Bei did not make a move and only let Whitey fight, he believed that Whitey would be able to win. This was the absolute suppression of strength. However, just as Lin Bei was thinking of an excuse to leave the venue, Teacher Du Bo¡¯s voice sounded in his ears again. ¡°Next, Lin Bei, versus¡ me!¡± Chapter 37 - Lin Bei Versus Du Bo! Chapter 37 Lin Bei Versus Du Bo! As soon as these words were spoken, the noisy arena instantly fell silent. Everyone widened their eyes and stared at Du Bo and Lin Bei, who was standing beside them. ¡°I-I didn¡¯t hear wrongly just now¡ ¡°That¡¯s what I heard. Teacher Du seems to want to be Lin Bei¡¯s opponent. ¡°F*ck, this is too exaggerated!¡± ¡°Teacher Du is a Martial King! His contracted beast, the Blue-Striped Python, is also a Dire Beast! If Lin Bei goes up, won¡¯t he be instantly killed?¡± ¡°It shouldn¡¯t be life-threatening¡¡± ¡°On second thought, it makes sense. Other than Teacher Du, no one else seems to be Lin Bei¡¯s match. A Level 1 Martial Master is too abnormal!¡± Lin Bei looked at Du Bo on the arena and met his smiling face. His expression seemed to be saying, ¡®Kid, can you last ten seconds?¡¯ In an instant, Lin Bei¡¯s fighting spirit surged. He raised his hand and touched Whitey on his shoulder. ¡°Ready, Whitey?¡± ¡°Although we will definitely lose, we can¡¯t lose too badly.¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey was also full of fighting spirit. It stood up from Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and shouted in Du Bo¡¯s direction. Just like that, Lin Bei¡¯s feet exerted force, and his entire body rose into the air and arrived on the arena. Bai Ranran looked at Lin Bei and the kitten on his shoulder, and her heart could not help but race. Du Bo looked at Lin Bei with admiration. He knew better than anyone that if he only knew how to bully the weak, no matter how talented he was, it was impossible for him to become an expert. Only by daring to challenge those who were stronger than him would he have a chance to become stronger. ¡°Very well.¡± ¡°How about this? As long as you can last a minute under my attack and¡¡± As Du Bo spoke, he took out a bell with a red string from his pocket and placed it at his waist. ¡°And you manage to take this bell while we fight.¡± He looked at Lin Bei with a smile. This smile made the other students¡¯ hair stand on end, especially the Blue-Striped Python behind Du Bo. It was staring at Whitey on Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder as if it was prey. It was as if it was going to swallow it in the next second. ¡°Hiss~¡± Standing beside Du Bo and Lin Bei, Bai Ranran couldn¡¯t help but worry for Lin Bei. Teacher Du was a Martial King Realm martial artist¡ The Blue-Striped Python was a Mid Sixth grade dire beast. On the other hand, although Lin Bei had also broken through to the Martial Master Realm, the two of them were two whole realms apart! The difference in strength could no longer be described as great¡ Lin Bei¡ really had a chance to win. Bai Ranran didn¡¯t know why, but even though it was such a disparity, she had a vague feeling¡ Lin Bei seemed to be able to win! However, just as Bai Ranran was still crazily imagining Lin Bei¡¯s victory, Du Bo¡¯s voice sounded in her ears. ¡°Ranran, I¡¯ll have to trouble you to time it later.¡± ¡°Ah, oh, oh. Alright, Teacher Du!¡± The two of them stood on the arena. The aura of Martial King Du Bo¡¯s realm was fully released, and a powerful suppression instantly filled the entire arena. Some students with weaker willpower even started to turn pale. ¡°This, this is a Martial King Realm martial artist!¡± ¡°Just now, I thought that Lin Bei had a slight chance of winning. Now that Teacher Du¡¯s aura is fully released¡ There¡¯s no more fun!¡± ¡°This is too terrifying! When can I become an expert like Teacher Du¡¡± ¡°Let¡¯s wait! We might have a chance after cultivating for more than ten years.¡± The people below the dueling platform discussed animatedly. Lin Bei stood opposite Du Bo and felt a strong sense of oppression. It was as if a huge mountain was pressing down on him, making it difficult for him to breathe, let alone move. ¡°So strong¡ ¡°I Lin Bei muttered. However, the more this was the case, the stronger the battle intent in his eyes. On the other side, Du Bo¡¯s clothes fluttered even though there was no wind. Spiritual energy that could be seen with the naked eye surged around him. In fact, he did not use his full strength as a Martial King. Otherwise, it was not impossible for Lin Bei¡¯s body to explode from his powerful spiritual energy. But even so, he still used at least the spiritual power of a Level 6 Great Martial Master. Du Bo did not expect this either. Lin Bei could actually maintain his standing posture under the detection of such a huge disparity in spiritual power. ¡°Very good, then¡ the countdown begins!¡± As soon as Du Bo finished speaking, his figure disappeared from the spot. Like a ghost, the entire arena was filled with his shadow. Lin Bei stood on the spot and tried his best to adjust his breathing. Whitey jumped down from his shoulder and stared at the Blue-Striped Python in the distance. This guy didn¡¯t seem to have joined the battle. However, the python¡¯s attributes were extreme speed and explosive power. If she was careless, she would be controlled by the Blue-Striped Python. At that time, not to mention retrieving the bell from Du Bo, he might not even be able to move. Therefore, he had to get Whitey to keep an eye on the Blue-Striped Python in front of him. As for him, he was looking for Du Bo¡¯s weakness. ¡°How are you going to win when your opponent¡¯s speed and strength completely suppresses you, Lin Bei?¡± Du Bo looked at Lin Bei, who stood motionless on the dueling platform, and thought to himself. But in the blink of an eye, Lin Bei¡¯s figure actually disappeared on the spot. When he reappeared, he was already in front of Du Bo. This sudden situation shocked Du Bo, but he still reacted immediately and kicked Lin Bei in the abdomen. ¡°Pfft!¡± Lin Bei was in pain. The huge force made him feel as if he had collided with a train. He retreated dozens of steps before barely stabilizing himself. ¡°It really hurts¡¡± He reached out and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his sleeve. His gaze became even more excited. On the other side, Du Bo was still thinking about how Lin Bei had escaped his sight. One had to know that he had already covered the entire arena with spiritual energy. Even if he closed his eyes, he could directly pinpoint Lin Bei¡¯s location. However, Lin Bei had completely disappeared in front of him. Even spiritual energy could not locate him. Du Bo did not know how Lin Bei did it, but he knew very well that it was his turn to attack Lin Bei. Chapter 38 - Sorry, Teacher Du, I Win! Chapter 38 Sorry, Teacher Du, I Win! ¡°Lin Bei, be careful.¡± Du Bo¡¯s voice rang out from the center of the dueling platform. Lin Bei¡¯s body sank. In the next second, a distance instantly came from behind him. ¡°PA!¡± Lin Bei could not withstand the force of the kick. His entire body soared into the air and he almost flew out of the arena. Fortunately, he adjusted his posture in time in midair and barely landed steadily. ¡°What a powerful force.¡± ¡°So this is Martial King?¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. At the same time, he did not dare to relax. Just now, he had relied on his momentary blind spot to avoid being tracked by Du Bo by integrating his spiritual power into Du Bo¡¯s spiritual power. However, he could not use the same method a second time in a short period of time. Because once he used it again, it was very likely that Du Bo would see through it, and then the third time would probably be useless. Therefore, Lin Bei could only use it once. That was when they would win. ¡°Left!¡± Du Bo¡¯s voice suddenly sounded. Half a second before his voice fell, his fist had already reached Lin Bei¡¯s cheek. However, this time, Lin Bei successfully dodged the attack. Moreover, he tried to counterattack with his right hand, wanting to seize the gap between Du Bo¡¯s attacks. Unfortunately, Du Bo was too fast. The moment Lin Bei punched, he had already disappeared from the spot. When he saw him again, he was already a meter away from Lin Bei. ¡°Not bad. You reacted quickly.¡± Du Bo smiled and looked at Lin Bei. ¡°Looks like you¡¯ve already adapted to my attack speed. I¡¯ll have to increase my speed next.¡± ¡°It¡¯s best if you don¡¯t get hit.¡± Lin Bei grinned, and the fighting spirit in his eyes became even more intense. ¡°Come on.¡± In an instant, Du Bo¡¯s figure disappeared again. Lin Bei¡¯s pupils constricted, and he immediately entered a defensive state. ¡°PA!¡± A punch came from the left. Lin Bei¡¯s heart tightened. He clearly realized that it was too late to dodge and could only take it head-on. The moment he focused his spiritual energy on the left, However, a huge force came from the right. BOOM! The terrifying force sent Lin Bei flying again. At this moment, Whitey, who had been staring at the Blue-Striped Python, could not stand it anymore. Seeing that Lin Bei had been beaten up unilaterally, Whitey was also furious. Its big round eyes looked at Du Bo, who had appeared in the center of the arena again. ¡°Meow!!¡± After a meow, Whitey suddenly disappeared and pounced at Du Bo at an extremely fast speed. At the same time, the Blue-Striped Python that had been standing at the side moved. ¡°Hiss!¡± With a cold breath, the Python¡¯s body was like a bolt of blue lightning. It only took one-third of a second to arrive beside Whitey. BANG! The Blue-Striped Python¡¯s body was like a speeding car as it slammed into Whitey. Whitey¡¯s body could not withstand such a huge force. It lost its balance and flew in front of Lin Bei. ¡°Whitey!¡± Seeing Whitey being smashed in front of him, Lin Bei was furious. He raised his head and stared at the Blue-Striped Python that had attacked Whitey. Du Bo, who was standing at the side, also frowned. He looked at the Blue-Striped Python with a trace of anger in his eyes. Clearly, he was blaming it for being too rough. After all, his opponent was only a Level 8 wild cat, not to mention his student. The Blue-Striped Python seemed to sense Du Bo¡¯s anger and lowered its head in guilt. Below the stage, the students watched the battle between the two people in front of them with their mouths wide open. Their eyes were wide open, and their faces were filled with shock and admiration. ¡°This Teacher Du is too powerful. I can¡¯t see him make a move at all!¡± ¡°Teacher is indeed a teacher. He completely suppressed Lin Bei until he didn¡¯t even have the chance to fight back!¡± ¡°Hey, Lin Bei is already doing very well. He can actually last so long. It¡¯s been 30 seconds.¡± ¡°That¡¯s because Teacher Du showed mercy. If he had used a martial technique or let the Blue-striped Python use its skill, Lin Bei would have lost long ago.¡± ¡°Alright, stop fooling around down there. If you go up, even if Teacher Du is blindfolded, he can kick you down and make you fall flat on your face.¡± ¡°That¡¯s right. Lin Bei is already very impressive!¡± Everyone in the stands was talking at once. Bai Ranran was the closest to the two people fighting, and she could feel the oppression coming from Teacher Du Bo the most. It was hard for her to imagine that Lin Bei agreed to fight with the teacher under such circumstances, and for so long. However, from her expression, it could be seen that she had been worried about Lin Bei. Just like that, Lin Bei stood up again under everyone¡¯s gaze. Not only that, even his gaze turned cold. It was so cold that Du Bo frowned and was slightly shocked. In an instant, Lin Bei seemed to be emitting a very powerful aura. That aura made Du Bo feel that the person standing in front of him was not his student at all. Instead, it was an opponent with the same realm and strength as him! Just as he was panicking, Lin Bei¡¯s body moved. Swoosh! Gathering all the spiritual energy under his feet, Lin Bei approached Teacher Du Bo at an extremely fast speed. Obviously, Du Bo did not expect Lin Bei to choose to attack him directly. However, his extremely fast reaction speed still made him put on a defensive posture immediately. However, the expected attack did not come. Lin Bei¡¯s feint wasn¡¯t to attack Du Bo¡¯s other positions, but to divert Du Bo¡¯s attention so that he could catch Du Bo¡¯s flaw! ¡°Whitey!¡± ¡°Meow!¡± Lin Bei shouted, and Whitey immediately rolled its body into a white ball. The next moment, its paw began to glow slightly. Skill: Blind! ¡°Meow!¡± The blow hit Du Bo squarely in the head. Unfortunately, because the difference in strength between Whitey and Du Bo was too great, it failed to produce the blinding effect. However, this attack landed on Du Bo. Although this power was negligible to Du Bo. However, this was indeed Lin Bei and Whitey¡¯s combined attack on Du Bo, who had reached the Martial King Realm! BOOM! Spiritual energy instantly erupted, and a powerful force sent Lin Bei and Whitey flying. Lin Bei was also caught off guard by this sudden force and was sent flying with Whitey. Just as Du Bo was about to chase after Lin Bei and knock him out of the arena¡ Lin Bei slowly raised his right hand. Everyone looked over. That was the bell on Teacher Du Bo¡¯s waist! ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Teacher Du.¡± ¡°I won.¡± Chapter 39 - Du Bos Reward! Fierce Beast Essence Core! Chapter 39: Du Bo¡¯s Reward! Fierce Beast Essence Core! Lin Bei endured the pain and squeezed out a smile. He did not forget to shake the bell in the air twice to make it ring. Everyone froze at the sight, even Du Bo. He looked down at his empty waist. Indeed, Lin Bei had taken his bell. But when exactly was it? Even Du Bo himself had no impression of it. He began to recall the details of the last collision. Soon, Du Bo realized how Lin Bei operated. After getting the answer, Du Bo shook his head with a bitter smile. He looked at Lin Bei with admiration. ¡°That¡¯s right. You won.¡± ¡°Lin Bei, class test results, passed!¡± ¡°Outstanding results!¡± As Du Bo¡¯s voice rang out, the students below the dueling platform fell silent at first. After a few seconds, a wave of thunderous applause erupted. ¡°Lin Bei! You¡¯re too strong!¡± ¡°Oh my god, I didn¡¯t expect Lin Bei to really win!¡± ¡°F*ck, f*ck, f*ck. Can someone tell me what happened in the end? How did Lin Bei get the bell?!¡± ¡°I didn¡¯t see it clearly. It was too fast. Let¡¯s not talk about it anymore. Lin Bei will be my brother from now on! Whoever bullies me has to ask my brother for permission first!¡± ¡°Tsk, what¡¯s there to be excited about? It¡¯s all because Teacher Du Bo went easy on him. If Teacher Du had been more serious, Lin Bei would have died in a second!¡± ¡°Why don¡¯t you go up and spar with Teacher Du? If you really can¡¯t, you can spar with Lin Bei.¡± ¡°Ahem, I¡¯m not feeling well.¡± The people below the stage could not help but look at Lin Bei with admiration. As a Martial Master, he could actually last a minute against a Martial King. Not only that, but he also took off the bell on Du Bo¡¯s waist. What the f*ck¡ It was too abnormal! In the stands, Bai Ranran looked in Lin Bei¡¯s direction, her pretty face flushed with excitement. The other students couldn¡¯t see it, but she, who was closest to the two of them, saw Lin Bei¡¯s last attack clearly. Lin Bei arrived in front of Du Bo first. Du Bo was surprised by Lin Bei¡¯s appearance, and his attention was diverted for the first time. At the same time, he pretended to attack and punch, but his center of gravity was not on his fist at all. Instead, he was still focused on his feet, allowing his body to maintain a forward posture. The reason why Lin Bei did this was to distract Du Bo for the second time and use Whitey behind him as a cover. In this way, Whitey¡¯s attack would distract Du Bo for the third time. After being distracted three times, Du Bo was clearly unable to pay attention to the situation at all times. Lin Bei used the little white card to control Du Bo¡¯s blind spot. At the same time, he integrated his spiritual power into Du Bo¡¯s spiritual power, preventing him from capturing Lin Bei¡¯s movements. Coupled with the fact that Lin Bei¡¯s center had been on his feet just now, he kicked the floor with both feet and accelerated towards Du Bo¡¯s waist again. Only then did Lin Bei successfully obtain the bell. However, what Lin Bei did not expect was that Du Bo actually subconsciously released more than half of his spiritual power the moment he was attacked. Only then did Lin Bei and Whitey fly out. ¡°Lin Bei¡ is amazing!¡± Bai Ranran thought to herself. On the other side, Lin Bei endured the pain and stood up from the arena. Whitey, who was beside his feet, stood up again. However, Lin Bei could also clearly see that Whitey seemed to be injured, and the injury did not seem to be light. ¡°Whitey!¡± Lin Bei quickly squatted down and picked up Whitey. It would have been fine if he hadn¡¯t squatted down, but the moment he did, the wound on his body was torn open. The pain made him gasp. Seeing this scene, Du Bo also hurried forward. ¡°Don¡¯t resist.¡± He said. In the next second, a blue spiritual energy floated out of Du Bo¡¯s body and wrapped around Lin Bei and Whitey. Lin Bei felt a warm current wrapping him from the outside and quickly spreading throughout his body. At the same time, the wounds on his body were quickly healing. In just ten seconds, he could no longer feel the pain. At the same time, Whitey, who was in his arms, looked much more relaxed. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey called out to Lin Bei again, as if to say that she was fine. Lin Bei patted Whitey¡¯s head with heartache. [You stroked Whitey. Whitey is very happy. Experience +50] Good God! He could actually gain EXP at this time. Seeing that the two of them had recovered, Du Bo finally heaved a sigh of relief. If a genius from Sea City died because of his mistake, he really could not bear the responsibility. ¡°Thank you, Teacher Du.¡± Lin Bei said to Du Bo. Hearing this, Du Bo quickly waved his hand. ¡°That¡¯s my problem. It was my mistake that caused you and your contract beast to be so badly injured.¡± ¡°I should be the one apologizing.¡± As he spoke, Du Bo flipped his palm, and a round crystal appeared in his palm. ¡°Spatial ring!¡± Looking at the thing in front of him, Lin Bei was a little surprised. Being able to conjure things out of thin air was the function of a spatial ring. Moreover, the one in Du Bo¡¯s hand¡ Why did he look so familiar? He seemed to have seen him there before. ¡°At this time, a dire beast essence core can be used by your contract beast.¡± ¡°If nothing goes wrong, it should be able to make a small break through in its realm.¡± ¡°Just take it as an apology.¡± Indeed. Lin Bei immediately reacted when he heard the words ¡®dire beast essence core¡¯. This was the same Dire Beast Essence Core that he had seen in textbooks. It was a precious item that would only appear after a Dire Beast was killed. It contained a large amount of spiritual energy suitable for Demonic Beasts to absorb. Just as Du Bo had said, if Whitey absorbed it, it should be able to break through toLevel 9 wild beast. In fact¡ If he was lucky, it was not impossible for him to break through to the dire beast realm in one go. Looking at the essence core in front of him, Lin Bei did not stand on ceremony and directly took it. ¡°Thank you, Teacher Du.¡± Below the stage, many students were envious when they saw Teacher Du Bo give Lin Bei a dire beast essence core. All of them looked at the core with fanatical eyes. ¡°Dire Beast Essence Core!! Teacher Du is too generous!¡± ¡°Oh my god! Dire Beast Essence Core. If I can have one, my Long Fur Bear will be able to break through to a Level 4 wild beast!¡± ¡°That¡¯s easy. You can just go up and fight Teacher Du.¡± ¡°Forget it, I¡¯m still young. I don¡¯t want to die. Do you think everyone is like that monster Lin Bei?¡± ¡°That¡¯s good.¡± Chapter 40 - Consuming Essence Core! Level 9 Beast! Chapter 40 Consuming Essence Core! Level 9 Beast! The class test came to an end. Before leaving, Du Bo found Lin Bei and told him to look for him in the office in three days. At that time, the special training would begin. Therefore, they had to prepare in advance. Lin Bei nodded. He did not plan to tell Hai Xin about this, because Lin Bei wanted to give her a small surprise. Back in the dormitory, Lin Bei did not forget to buy some toys and food for Moony. After all, he had no experience in raising wolves. Therefore, Lin Bei treated Moony like a husky most of the time. Most of the toys he brought back were the ones that the puppy would like. Although he was not sure if Moony would like it, he still bought a lot. Through iris verification, Lin Bei successfully returned home and placed the bags on the table. He immediately released Moony, who had been in the Demon Beast Space. ¡°Wu!!¡± As soon as she came out, Moony wagged her tail and came to Lin Bei¡¯s feet. It was not difficult to see that Moony had been holding it in for an entire day. Seeing how excited Moony was, Lin Bei picked it up and rubbed its head. This touch made Moony even more excited. Its tail wagged behind it like a propeller. [It¡¯s very excited that you¡¯re playing with Moony. Experience +60] After playing with Moony for a while, Lin Bei put it down and turned around to rummage through the bag. Soon, a red dress entered his sight. Taking the clothes out of the bag, Lin Bei smiled and put them on Moony. [You bought new clothes for Moony. It is very excited. Experience +100] Another 100 experience points! Lin Bei was in a good mood. He looked at his current experience points, 1500. This included the 100 points that Moony had obtained when she came out of the Demonic Beast space. In other words, he could basically obtain about 1,500 experience points every day. This harvest was still quite good. However, it might not be enough in the future. After all, raising Whitey¡¯s bloodline level now required at least 2,000 experience points. Not to mention raising Moony¡¯s bloodline level. Lin Bei had checked the interface before. If he wanted to raise Moony¡¯s bloodline from the Superior Fourth grade to Inferior Third grade, he would need to spend 20,000 experience points! To the current Lin Bei, this was definitely an unattainable number. ¡°Looks like I have to try to find other ways to gain experience.¡± Lin Bei muttered. At this moment, his gaze landed on Whitey. It was lying lazily on the sofa and sleeping soundly. It was rare for it not to search for food in the kitchen. Obviously, the battle with Du Bo and the Blue-striped Python had consumed a lot of energy. However, he had to admit that he could indeed learn something from fighting an opponent who was two major realms away from him. Lin Bei has gained a lot today. Suddenly, he seemed to have remembered something. With a thought, he took out the reward that Du Bo had given him from the storage space. A Dire Beast Essence Core. Looking at the transparent irregular ball in his hand that was emitting a faint light, Lin Bei could feel a warm aura coming from it. ¡°There should be spiritual energy inside.¡± ¡°However, it seems that Demonic Beasts will be more compatible with it.¡± However, just as Lin Bei took out the core from his inventory, Whitey, who was lying on the sofa, suddenly became energetic. It jumped onto Lin Bei¡¯s shoulder and looked at the essence core in his hand with anticipation. Seeing Whitey¡¯s excited expression, Lin Bei did not know whether to laugh or cry. He had never seen such an expression on Whitey¡¯s face. It was not difficult to see that this Dire Beast Essence Core should be very attractive to it. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, it was originally prepared for you.¡± Lin Bei rubbed Whitey¡¯s head and said gently. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey called out to Lin Bei, then rubbed her head against Lin Bei¡¯s face, as if to express her gratitude. Then, it suddenly flashed and swallowed the essence core in Lin Bei¡¯s hand. ¡°Meow!¡± Whitey let out a satisfied cry. Then, its entire body emitted that weak light again. Looking at the scene in front of him, Lin Bei knew that Whitey was about to break through again. The spiritual energy in its body gradually filled up, and the dire beast core that it had swallowed began to spread the spiritual energy inside. The surface of Whitey¡¯s body began to heat up rapidly. Lin Bei sat on the side with Moony in his arms, quietly waiting for Whitey to break through. Seconds ticked by. Finally, two minutes later, Whitey suddenly opened its big round eyes. The faint light on the surface of its body suddenly flashed and disappeared from the house. [You gave Whitey a Dire Beast Essence Core. It was very excited. Experience +200] [Whitey¡¯s realm has increased. It feels very excited. Experience +400] Two sounds of the system rang out. Lin Bei also smiled. After successfully breaking through, Whitey was already a Level 9 wild beast. Moreover, he had gained 600 experience points. ¡°It¡¯s a pity that I didn¡¯t break through to the dire beast realm in one go.¡± ¡°Otherwise, if I go to the special training, I should be able to firmly obtain the reward of first place.¡± Lin Bei thought to himself. But even so, he was already very satisfied. Now, not only did he have two contract beasts, but the bloodline levels of the two contract beasts were also higher than the other. A Sixth grade and a Fourth grade. If other Demon Tamers knew about this, they would all be envious. Coupled with his current martial arts realm of a Level 5 Martial Master, As long as Whitey could successfully break through to the dire beast realm, he could definitely rely on resonance to directly advance to the Great Martial Master realm! Thinking of this, the smile on Lin Bei¡¯s face widened. ¡°But before that, I still have to increase my combat strength.¡± ¡°At the very least, I should get a martial technique or something.¡± Suddenly, he remembered that he still had a lot of low-grade Spirit Stones in his backpack. ¡°If it¡¯s these Spirit Stones, I should be able to exchange them for a good martial technique.¡±
