"Hell-mode", officially known as the Racial Start, is an option non-human players can take after creating their character. If chosen, the player will be thrown into a Dungeon that matches their character''s monster race, and therefore cut off all contact with other players. It won''t help if multiple players of the same race choose to start racially. They will be sent to different parts of the Dungeon, so meeting them will be equally difficult to meeting other players anyway.
